If you've got yourself in a twist about me half-skipping Mahoraga vs Sukuna then I kindly suggest watching the anime or reading the manga associated with the panels. I am here to write Fanfiction, not describe a fight scene I couldn't do justice with words.

Oh, and I'm not copying the fights that are similar move for move and word for word. Enough has changed for that to be somewhat realistic.

Rounding the corner-bend of the station we saw a scene out of the backdrop of a Mortal Combat game. Residuals of transfigured messes of humans littered the ground and walls and to the left wall, surrounded by a bunch of malformed, off-color-skinned humans lay the evidently unconscious, white-haired form of the Grade one sorcerer Mei Mei.

Nanami made eye contact with me and I gave him the nod, somehow having ended up the group leader through a mix of social interaction and having taken the lead in the Toji fiasco. But the rest of us rushed over to the laughing and giggling voice we heard further down the hall. Further following along the curving wall littered with blood and gore, we found the two forms of Yuji Itadori and the special grade Curse Mahito. The former was imbedded in a crater and the latter was currently... SHIT! He was currently finishing up feeding Yuji twelve fingers. I felt the oppressive Cursed Energy already radiating from the tattoos that had been seemingly drawing themselves on Yuji's face.

Mahito turned to us, grinned, before flashing away further into the tunnel and most probably far away. Megumi, Maki and I all stilled as we felt the Cursed Energy signature of both Nanami carrying Mei Mei away and the downright evil force of Sukuna start to fill the air. I turned to Megumi, not bothering with any of the hitting around the bush with my meta-knowledge. "If you're about to die, you'll give us a signal and we'll hold him off while you initiate a ritual with Sukuna to fight Mahoraga."

The potential man himself was wide-eyed at my words but, with a shaky nod, he gave his agreement. Maki nodded too, though she didn't really say anything. We all turned to face the rising form of Ryomen Sukuna, the king of Curses himself slowly grinning as his narrowed eyes rake all over us. "Ah... you're all acquainted with the brat, right?" His deep, malice-filled voice was met with still, clenched jaws. His grin faded and his eyes narrowed. "So impolite... no matter..." He grinned again, an anticipatory one. "You all die here." He then looked at Megumi. "Well maybe not all of you."

We all duked down as Sukuna slashed his tow outstretched fingers horizontally with an almost lazy motion and speed. I heard the spark of electricity and the clanking of metal hitting the ground as V1 had it's head removed. Thank god the central processor is in the chest, I think as I command it to pick up it's head and run away, which it does almost gracefully with a combo of slides and dashes.

Turning back to Sukuna, he was watching my machine with a quirked eyebrow but didn't bother to do anything. I felt my breathing grow heavy. I didn't blink. Then, I felt something approach. I was still ducked so I couldn't dodge upwards. My only choice was to materialize the Inventory Curse and swiftly take out the dual-pronged Inverted Spear and hold it flat in front of my face. I felt some of my left temple and lower chin flare up in pain and I hear Megumi and Maki both grunt in pain.

Looking towards both, Megumi had summoned Demon Dog Totality to act as a shield, the very angry and furry dog having a streak of blood across it's side and Maki had folded the three sections of Playful Cloud net to each other to protect her face, which worked out the worst for her, right eye seemingly exploding with blood as a line forms through the temple and onto the bridge of her nose.

I focused back on Sukuna as the demon himself walked towards us, still a good distance away. I blinked.

"ACK-!" I felt my torso explode in pain as the King of Curses himself had punched the ever living hell out of my abdomen. I already felt my previously fragmented ribs break in half completely- or at least, four of them. I impacted with the curving wall behind me and tumbled off of it and to the ground, scraping and bruising myself further. I was glad my body became so much stronger over this incident, else that would have been another set of broken bones.

I had no chance against him.

I saw Megumi jump out of a shadow next to me, sliding along the uneven rails below his feet, arms cross-guarding his face and bleeding profusely with a litter of cuts and slashes. Totality was close behind, it's side fare more worse for wear than it's summoner. I looked towards the last of us, Maki just now engaging Sukuna in melee.

She did not last two attacks.

Sukuna blocked her attacking strike with a swing of her Cursed Tool, grabbed the segmented staff and, using her strong grip on the weapon, chucked the staff towards the wall behind him, sending Maki with it. I looked at Megumi. "Do it!" He looked at me with an appalled expression.

"What?!" He shouted as we saw Maki push herself out of the human-shaped hole in the wall, Playful Cloud on the floor in front of her.

I shake my head, getting back on my feet, Inventory Curse wrapped around my body, it's scrunched up, baby-like face leaning over my shoulder and the Inverted Spear tightly in my hand. "He's at 10 or more fingers, he'd have killed us if he wanted to already. Our only chance is to initiate a fight between Mahoraga and that monster and run for the hills." I turn to face back to Sukuna, the almost visibly pumped full of energy, relishing our panicked shouts. "There's no distance limit for participants, right?" I saw him reluctantly nod. "Then start it."

He scowled, the first extreme emotion I'd seem Megumi do today, and crouched a bit down low, holding out two fists, one in front of the other. Okay, I only need to hold out for a couple seconds-

Sukuna was in Megumi's face in the blink of an eye. Megumi, even when his eyes shot wide open with panic, trusted me for whatever reason and began his chant. "With this treasure I summon..." I dashed forwards with all the speed I had as the room darkened with the sound of activating stage lights. I fought through whatever objections it had and opened my Solvers Eye, using it in a way I hadn't before. At the tip of my outstretched Inverted Spear, a small black hole formed, lines of code appearing for a split second at it's side before I launched it at Sukuna.

The King of Curses had no clue what I was doing as I was not creating it directly through Cursed Energy but rather through summoning this ball of death via a predetermined line of code that I programmed into reality using the Solver. And as such, he was hit because I shot the ball at something approaching the speed of light, a feat shown commonly in Murder Drones by Uzi in the final episode.

It shot straight through the king of Curses, leaving behind a basket ball sized hole in his chest, and the attraction of the black hole forced Sukuna to the back end of the tunnel. "Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila..." But I couldn't maintain the orb, especially with the casual pushback of Sukuna that felt like trying to hold back a train to me. So, I let go after Sukuna was far enough away that he was about as big as my thumb from back there.

In front of Megumi, in a perfect straight line in front of us and in the middle of the tracks, appeared rough silhouettes of both the Frog and Demon Dog Shikigami, the latter howling ominously. Sukuna had regenerated the attack casually, something I wasn't too torn up about. Megumi was holding his hands in a horizontal cross to the left side of his face, his eyes downcast. Behind him, in the inky blackness and right net to me, a gigantic form wrapped up in layers upon layers of bandages suddenly popped into existence, thin lines of string connecting to it from seemingly nowhere. I held my breath and approached Megumi slowly, as if Mahoraga could already see us and would kill me if I moved too suddenly.

"Divine General Mahoraga." The sound of a large chunk of metal hitting an equally metallic floor in an echoey chamber reverberated throughout the tunnel as I grabbed Megumi as quickly as I could, the student not ready for it and letting out a surprised yelp. I faintly saw the bandages fall off of the wrapped up form, falling into nothingness as if they where just specters.

I didn't look back after that, focusing all my energy into running as far away from the center of Shibuya as I could. I was out of the tunnels in a second, loud rumbles and shatters being felt already. Maki had not missed the memo, she was hot on my heels, keeping up handily with her enhanced body. I didn't let go of Megumi, rather shifting to a fireman's carry as I reached the surface again.

-Nobara Kugisaki-

She'd been fighting this patchwork asshole for the past five minutes now! She jumped onto the roof of a nearby building and began to trace it's edge as Mahito extended and multiplied his arms like tentacles, ripping apart the roof and the floor below it easily. She could hear him laugh in the alley below her and, in anger, she sent a set of three nails flying, though all are dodged and even blocked as the Curse ripped out a piece of concrete from the floor.

Just as she thought she was at her limit with this fight, she felt a second Cursed Energy signature approach on the roof opposite of hers. Then... she felt that she'd almost popped a blood vessel as a second Mahito appeared and began talking in his overplayed, overconfident and overly annoying voice. "Everything going alright?" He asked and his... double nodded. "Good... then, let's finish up with her alright?" He jumped down from the roof and they... fused?

Was she fighting a double?

Shit, she had been struggling with a replica and now the real deal was here? Her anger told her to beat the shit out of the Curse but right now, logic took the steering wheel in her mind and she began to make a break for it. "Where are you going~?" The sing-song voice of what is coming to be her worst enemy reverberated from behind her on the roof but just as she was about to turn and reluctantly fight, the earth rumbled.

Both of them stopped and turned to central Shibuya, where they felt the rumble come from. While she looked confused, Mahito was grinning... suddenly, in the distance, a building shifted downwards before starting to topple over.

Whatever was happening, she needed to get away. She began to run but as she did, two sickles made of blue human skin and sharpened bone flew at her from behind, she barely leaned out of the way. To the backdrop of whatever was currently ruining Shibuya, she faced the maniacally grinning Mahito. Good thing... "I had those prepared!" She shouted as she triggered the nails she had laid out when running, knowing he wouldn't let her alone.

They flew upwards, impaling Mahito in their blue flare and sharp bodies. She was in front of him the next second, she'd take him out right here and now! First, she detonated the nails that where now imbedded within him, causing him to get his arm exploded off. As it flew, she tacked a nail to a one of her straw dolls, dropped it a bit into the air in front of her and then launched it into the severed arm with her hammer, causing the satisfying sound of clashing iron to reverberate throughout their rooftop.

Then... "Resonance!" She shouted out the special move of her Cursed Technique, black spikes jutting out from the left side of Mahito's face as the Curse coughed up blood, eyes wide with either panic or pain.

In the city to their left, she could see more and more buildings topple over, some getting sliced apart by an invisible force as she could faintly make out a white figure getting knocked around. Now that Mahito was apparently stunned by her technique, it having done... something more than just damage him, she shrugged to herself, grinned in delight and started hammering more nails into his grounded body until he looked like pinhead.

She exhausted about all of her stockpile of nails but for three that she needed for emergencies before detonating them all. What remained of Mahito couldn't even be called a humanoid entity but regardless of that fact, the small bits and pieces came together like magnets, forming a small, rotund thing with blue hair and goofy eyes.

Suddenly, the sound of the... well, sound barrier breaking could be heard even back where they where as a streak of dust and air made it clear that whatever was causing that damage was launched into the fucking sky, even crashing into an airplane!

She refocused on Mahito, the small blob grumbling and stumbling around as if drunk, but not without starting to grow back into what resembled Mahito. "What did you do... to me?" He said with a even higher-pitched voice than usual.

She couldn't kill him, that was obvious but she'd done something and that was enough for her. Whatever was going on in Shibuya was the least of her concerns, she finished as she started running again. Low on Cursed Energy and exhausted in all possible manners, she could only look on in shock as she felt the distinct signature and feeling of a Domain opening where that monstrous fight took place.

A red tint covered the area, as if drawn on sketchily, and despite her assumptions of how domains work, this one encompassed all of inner Shibuya and had no barrier. Small streaks of black and white could be seen and buildings, streets and bridges dissolved like dust from the epicenter outwards. It was cataclysmic and both of their fights stopped as they looked on in amazement and horror respectively. She continued running even as she felt the air get hotter from that now literal hot zone. She didn't want to die here! She wanted to see Saori and Fumi again!

So... she ran.

-Kasumi Miwa-

"Don't..." She couldn't muster more. She sat silently, alone in her seat of their trains compartment, tightly holding the last device Mechamaru had probably built. "Please don't..." She was starting to tear up, having heard from the very voice of the deceased that he'd died.

"Miwa... as long as you're happy, my dream i-" The words where interrupted, the small devices mouth open. "I've... just received a data package." She stopped her hicks and sniffles, wiping away her tears.

"W-Wha-?" She started, voice meek and quiet.

The little Mechamaru replica stayed silent for a second before replying. "I'm... alive." Her heart stopped. Her eyes widened. "I prepared this device in case I die and I did perish in my battle with Mahito but... I have come back to life and am currently involved in Shibuya." It's voice was focused. "Do not come after me." He said loud and clear but she couldn't hold it in.

"What?!" She shouted, brimming with emotion, tears lining her cheeks. "You tell me your dead just to let me hope again by saying your alive! Then you tell me I can't come to help you while you're in the midst of the most-" She sniffed again, eyes clenching with even more tears. "-casualty heavy mission since the festival!" She complained and exploded but as she processed the information, something in her was just happy her... friend was alive. That word felt inadequate to describe how she had reacted to his death but right now, she couldn't focus.

"You have no choice in the matter. Just be content in the fact that I'm going to come back to you and the rest alive. Todo won't die any time soon, even with all the... things happening there." He called out.

And she just leaned against the window, crying. But this time, the tears came out of a place of relief.

-Kokichi Muta-

I jump again, my simple domain already shaking and stuttering as we approach the edge of Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine. I saw the color shift just a bit in front of me. Even as the buildings behind us crumbled and fell to dust, small cuts already appearing on my body, burning me with sharp pains, even through my Simple Domain, I held out. I felt an intense heat radiate from behind me, we both started screaming with determination and exertion, Maki to my left and me with a half-conscious Megumi on my shoulders.

Then, we threw ourselves out of the domain just in time for my simple one to shatter apart, causing me to stagger to the ground, collapsing with Megumi on top of me. But hell wasn't over, and that moniker became ever more so evident as we saw a pillar of flame explode into the air behinds, like an antenna to heaven, declaring that the mortal sorcerers would one day burn the angels domain to dust. I vowed to one day reach that strength but for now, I'd have to dodge it's fallout as walls of flame started to burn away anything in their path.

One such wall just happened to fire our way and I guess the universe has a plan for everybody and doesn't like drastic changes because neither I nor Maki where swift enough to save her from being caught in the line of- literal- fire. I saw a faint black outline of her as my face lit up in orange light, not an arms length away now being a wall of lame high enough to escape my field of view.

It took a good ten seconds before it all calmed down, only faint lines of fire- like silk in the air- to fall in the sky as Maki's burned and smoking body crumbled down before me. I turned to Megumi, slapped him in the face before returning to the still form of Maki Zenin. Shit, even just Sukuna's collateral is this bad!? I thought' I could prevent his awakening but I guess some things wont change. At least I saved Nanami and Naobito, which is nice.

Megumi shot upwards as I sat down on my shins next to the faint, raspy breathing, completely cauterized Maki. "What?! I'm up!" he shouted before I motioned to here we could see that not a hundred meters down the alley we where at the end of lay now a gigantic crater.

"I'm going to... try and help her. You go find Nobara." Yes, she was still somewhere and I had no clue if she was currently battling a fake or areal Mahito with how I've messed shit up. I can see him nod out of the corner of my eye and run off, stumbling once or twice.

How had Reversed Cursed Energy been described in the manga and in the show? I can faintly remember somebody say that Cursed Energy comes from the gut while Reversed Cursed Energy is directed by the brain and that Reversed Cursed Energy is created by applying the principal that two negatives result in a positive to Cursed Energy. I sigh, I don't know where the medical tents are and I had no clue on the specifics on how Maki survived, so I either let her life up to fate or try and help. It could be that she would be fine without any help but I'm not risking that.

The flames of Sukuna's Fuga did beath the flames Jogo used to incinerate Maki, so her life very well may be on the line.

I take a deep breath and imagine my Cursed Energy as an enormous ocean, appropriate for it's amount. Then, I take out two large bodies of the dark purple colored water. I take a deep breath, simultaneously directing some of it into my brain in the real world. Then, I smash both together. Something in me clicks.

Through a very manual and roundabout way, you have achieved Reversed Cursed Energy!

[Reverse Cursed Energy] Level 1/100

The energy created by multiplying the negative that is Cursed Energy with itself to result in the healing power that is RCE. It can be applied to Cursed Techniques, other people through transfer and can even heal the user.

I take a relieved breath as my hand lit up with a faint white glow, far softer than the normal harsh and cold feeling of Cursed Energy. I touch the back of the probably unconscious Maki, the glow overtaking and spreading all over her body as the full-body burn start to seem a little bit less harsh and some skin started regrowing below the burned remains that where now falling off in an uncomfortable looking regeneration.

After a good minute, the Maki I knew from the manga lay before my feet, though lacking any hair currently. I was too full of adrenaline and battle focus to care that she was naked but the image was still saved in my mind. She had lines and patterns of burned and scarred tissue all over and the effects of the cut into her eye was still there, I healed the eye but her body would have to do the rest.

I took out a few bandages as I let my Inventory Curse swallow the Spear and disappear back into miniature land, wrapping it around her head as I leaned her against the building in front of us. It was a weirdly tender moment, after all the destruction and death we just had this lull in all of that where just she and I licked our wounds. It was oddly peaceful and judging from her half lidded eyes opening and making eye contact with me as her head slowly twisted upwards, she was pseudo aware of it too. I just shook my head. "You need rest." She was too beat up, the scared tissue still red with recency and her physical exhaustion was made apparent when I healed her. I tapped her forehead, channeling a bit of Cursed Energy and created a small, harmless wave that knocked her out.

I sighed, reaching for the small white band tying my hair together and, seeing that it was about to snap through being burnt, I took it off. As I took off my Kyoto High uniform and laid it over her almost nude body, I collapsed next to her on the buildings wall, a shattered window making sitting further away from her a literal pain in the ass. My hair how fell to my shoulders and I let my hand raise to my large, triangle-like scar on my right cheek, tracing it's texture as I just rested a bit. "My god..." I muttered. "This has been a disaster." But I was content with the knowledge that I'd grown in strength substantially and that I'd saved quite a lot of people.

For now, I try and recover.

-Yuji Itadori-

Him. Only him. He languidly stumbled through the underground train station, Nobara collapsed in front of him. She'd found him at the edge of the... crater.

Only him.

Even as she had talked about how Mahito was hot on their heels, he just couldn't muster the strength to care. He'd been the reason...

Only him.

And now she's suffered through his inaction, he's feeble attempts to fight Mahito along side her. "Haha! Yuji, you seem s-" His voice faded in and out as his ears seemed to ring and ring, his eyes firmly locked onto the form of his teammate, his friend, left eye missing and the surrounding skin palpitating and cursed.

Only.

"Me." He whispered. All of Shibuya, on his conscious. The gallons of blood stain his hand. Only his.

Imbedded in the pillar behind him, his entire body aching, he couldn't muster the strength to look up at Mahito, but he heard the shrill sound of metal slicing through the air and he was prepared to die then and there. Then...

*CLAP*

The pitched sound of a clap announced the arrival of Todo, as he heard him switch with Mahito and saw his lower body. "Brother." He began while Yuji also heard softer footsteps hurry over to Nobara. For the first time, he looked up. A blonde ban was drawing signs with a yellow glowing finger over the body of Nobara. Todo spoke up. "She'll live, I know it." Yuji looked up at his... his brother.

It didn't matter. "You know... There's a saying." He began to approach the downed Yuji. "It goes; 'The sound of the Gion Shoja bells echoes the impermanence of all things. The color of the sala flowers reveals the truth, the prosperous must decline.' I think..." Yuji looked up to the cocky smile on his brothers face. "That's we're exempt from that decline!" He tucked at his collar. "Geto has already left with the Prison Realm... we have to fight the enemy now, Yuji." He leanded down to his level. Then, he shouted. "Wake up brother! Our battles, side by side, are only just beginning!"

He just couldn't anymore.

"Todo... Todo... I can't-" He started sobbing, his mind filled with Sukuna's memories of the battle. So many dead! His fault! "-Fight anymore...I couldn't save Gojo, and now Kugisaki!" He scrunched up into the fetal position on the floor, like the worthless, feeble vessel he is. "Sukuna... Sukuna killed so many people, Todo... So... So I have to save that many more people! But I couldn't stope him, then!" His tears stream down his face like a river. "I'm nothing more than a murderer! My conviction was an excuse!" He then fell into babble.

"Ha! Hehe- Will you please speak up!" Mahito shouted from behind him, approaching rapidly. A clap and he was behind Todo. Yuji could faintly hear another clap, an impact on the ground, and another clap.

Then, Todo spoke up again, conviction clear in his stern voice. "Brother, you're a man amongst men. Don't limit yourself to such narrowmindedness!" He began and Yuji... Yuji crawled onto his arms and legs. He looked up, his brother bathed in shining light. "We..." He paused. "Are Jujutsu Sorcerers! Me! You... Kugisaki and all of our allies! We are all Jujutsu Sorcerers." Yuji could see them, in the distance of his minds eye. "As long as we continue to live...!" Yuji finally looked at his brother in all but blood, truly. "Our friends who have died, will have not truly been defeated!"

Yuji started to think. "This is not a matter of sins. The moment we chose to dedicate ourselves to becoming Jujutsu Sorcerers, our lives where no longer bound by such Karma as that." Yuji started to stand up. "Trying to find meaning in the deaths of our comrades can, at times, result in their memory being defiled." He saw Todo chuck his black leather jacket away and raise his voice. "Even so! What is it that you've been entrusted with!" His eyes widened. Kugisaki... Gojo... they'd all left him with their memory. And even Mei Mei. And even if Gojo and Mei Mei could survive, they've still given him something. "There's no need to find your answer to that now. However, until you're able to find it, you cannot stop moving forward." Yuji resonated.

"That..." He began. "...is the one punishment imposed upon us Jujutsu Sorcerers who live." He felt Cursed Energy spring up behind him and then the blond haired, polished-looking man slapped his back. His pain disappeared.

"Yuji, the wounds you've already suffered won't get worse, neither should you loose any more blood. Also, the pain should have eased." The soft spoken man began. "But the wounds aren't healed. But all of that only applies to your current wounds. Any new damage will stay as is." Yuji looked back at the man. "The girl over there... I gave her the same treatment." His eyes widened with aa glimmer of hope. "I think it hasn't been that long and, while she lacked a pulse, I think there's a slim chance..." He trailed off but Yuji knew. Could he... save them all? Gojo could be unsealed and now... Kugisaki could survive?

Something in him flared up again. His fighting spirit.

"I'm getting her out of here. Her chances aren't zero, but still not that high, so don't get your hopes up!" He started running off with his pseudo-butler outfit. He stood up and walked towards Todo.

"Are you done?" Mahito asked, obviously still high on whatever he was on.

They both stopped next to each other and Yuji spoke out softly "Let's kill this guy."

-Kokichi Muta-

I had been playing with RCE and giving myself a good stockpile for at least the past ten minutes when the ground started rumbling. I had given Maki over to that one blonde haired butler when I saw him down the road with Nobara on his back. He complained a bit but was happy to help and I was glad that Nobara would hopefully survive like normal.

The intersection of streets and alleys at the end of the road I still sat in exploded, tentacles and pillars of human flesh expanding upwards and in swirling patterns. Mahito was here.

I stood up and rushed towards the battle. When I arrived, the entire floor was covered in human skin, mouths and eyes. I could almost feel their suffering and if not for the fact that I had semi-beaten Mahito before, I wouldn't be sure that he is growing in strength as he approaches his evolution. I faintly heard Mahito's crazed voice shout towards the pair of Todo and Yuji that I saw at the opposite end of the now skin covered plaza. "Let's kick it up a notch, Itadori! This will be the last time we curse each other. FOREVER!" He was a delusional maniac.

I wouldn't let that stand.

I let the Inventory Curse coil itself back around me and took out the Inverted Spear. V1 was too far away, I'd sent it back to Cyn due to the beheading impairing it's vision. I'd had to focus on controlling it the past half an hour. But now... I wasn't defenseless. I saw Todo exchange looks with Yuji before the grade one clapped, holding the now replaced Mahito still in his iron grip. Yuji had already jumped forwards, round-house kick aimed for the Curse.

Mahito was still grinning and twisted his own head off.

The left-over body wasn't useless to the Curse, now. No, two, snail-like stems with eyes at the top grew out of the neck, arms twisting into meter long tentacles that started whipping at the two sorcerers. I already passed their fight, both of them looking at me with wide eyes for a short moment before being distracted by their opponent. As I approached Mahito, he twisted a mass of souls into...

A humanoid stood before it's master, neck and head fused together, chin looking like it had shriveled up while it lacked any eyes, every part of it's body, except the arms, covered in a red, leather like skin.

Mahito saw me. "A- AHAHA! Yes, you too! I can kill you all now!" He sent that thing rumbling towards me. I knew it had the power to rival Todo, but would die in one hit. Glass cannon, as one would call it.

Knowing that, I simply sent a burst of Cursed Energy it's way. It dodged to the left, as expected. I was in front of it in a burst of speed, I then kicked it into the ground, crushing it's malformed head. When I looked back up, Mahito was gone and two more of those guys stood in his place. "Fuck you, dude." I muttered to myself as I dashed in front of the first. As these things operate on instinct, the one behind me goes for a punch. I duck and the attack hits it's companion, killing it via head removal.

I was ducked down low and swiped away it's legs with mine, then spin around once so I get my arm in position to hit it's horizontally descending face. With it now laying on the ground, dead, I look up to try and find Mahito. At the other end of the street, Mahito had pulled out gigantic, thorny tendrils that both Yuji and Todo where running up and down on, trying to hit the ever so fast moving Curse, who throws spears, forms his hands into hammers and a lot more in attempts to kick their asses.

When he utilized one of Todo's claps against the sorcerer, he hit Yuji in the temple with a morning star hand, launching him into the Shibuya sized crater. Mahito flickered after his most hated and I wasn't far behind. Todo and I where next to each other for a few seconds as we followed. We made eye contact and his eyes widened as he realized who I was. "Kokichi?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yeah."

He grinned. "I knew you didn't die. You're too strong spirited! I hope you have an explanation for your betrayal but judging from your current... state, I think I can guess." I nodded at him, smiling. I'd missed Todo's explosive energy. "What's that Cursed Spirit you have around yourself?" He asked as we approached.

I shook my head. "Just something I picked up on the way, don't worry." He accepted that answer with a shrug and we swiftly arrived at the crater, rushed past Mahito, missing two strikes we tried to hit on the way, and slotted ourselves next to Yuji. "Hey, Yuji." I nodded towards the vessel. I had some feelings about him from the original Kokichi but now that I've known Yuji through every high and low point of his life, I can't help but root for him.

I saw him smile. "You're Mechamaru, I'm guessing?" I nod and focus on Mahito. "Well, thanks for the help back with Gojo." I saw a small, almost invisible, smile appear on his face. "Mind helping me out?"

My own thin smile formed on my face. I'd made it this far and have saved quite a few of the main cast. Yes, I didn't achieve what I set out to do, but my presence had an effect. So... I'll try and do the same here. "Sure, let's do this."

Todo got into a low stance an almost manic grin on his face. "That's the spirit, Kokichi!" Then, we all flickered forwards.

Wait, doesn't he-?

"Domain Expansion!" I heard Mahito shout, his mouth wide open, gigantic hands forming integrate patters like blooming flowers behind him. I activated Simple Domain, which held out much more favorable against his than Sukuna's. "Self-embodiment of Perfection!" Through my physical stats, along with the enhanced thought process through now having reached 50 INT, along with general Cursed Energy enhancement, the 0.2 seconds Mahito planned to activate his domain where like a solid minute to me.

With all my boosts and mental enhancements through my frankly staggering INT, I could probably contend with Todo through sheer reaction time to supplement any gap in physical strength.

And as such, I was in front of the hysterical Curse in a flash, eyes wide open in focus and the Inverted Spear of Heaven primed to stab through his neck. I had opened my Simple Domain when I was standing still, and the effect didn't dissipate instantly upon release. So, in this 0.001 seconds of travel between my opening of the Simple Domain and the dash towards Mahito, it's effect was still active.

This was the absolute limit of my speed, I knew I could barely keep this up for more than a single mad-dash, but it was enough. I stabbed into the Curse's stitched neck, blood splattering everywhere. I knew he was trying to transfigure his body but... his eyes widened as nothing happened and his Domain Closed due to his predestined timer.

It had still hit Todo, I noticed, but Mahito was not there to deliver another Black Flash. I was grinning as I could regain my normal, while still ridiculously fast compared to normal people, speed and ripped my spear-head through his neck, down to his shoulder and removed it in his lower abdomen. Toji-style. But the effect of the Spear only last until it has ceased contact, so, while he could not retaliate like he usually would in the moment, he could now transfigure again.

I didn't let him. I rose upwards with an uppercut. Mahito caught it but our hand-to-hand had only just begin. The flurry of punches and the occasional kick made for a blur of a battle. I aimed for his abdomen, he caught it with his forearm. I faked out a right hook and managed to spin around to perform a powerful kick into his chest.

As the battle progressed, he used more and more transfigurations. A short burst of spikes on a now round forearm here and a whip onto my shoulder there. It all resulted in the first real damage of my fights in Shibuya since Toji. "This wont be like last time, puppet brat!" He shouted before he ducked a horizontal spear slash and his fist extended to connect with my stomach.

I could see his grin, white teeth exposed, as streaks of black and red lighting exploded out of the area of impact. I felt the wind get knocked out of my, along with a good deal of blood. Having passively healed my cracked ribs didn't make them stronger, so I acutely felt my entire ribcage either crack or shatter as I flew backwards. "Black Flash!" I heard him shout.

Fuck, my inexperience in combat had resulted in this. I may have been in a lot of fights, but that was through the proxy of Mechamaru. Now I had forced myself into a trial of fire via melee combat and, while I may have been the superior fighter stat wise, I had lacked the experience Mahito had gained through all his encounters with Jujutsu Sorcerers. I clutched at my uniform-covered stomach, feeling it bruise heavily and I clawed at my chest shortly, the feeling of tightness encompassing everything for a short time.

My stockpile of Reverse Cursed Energy healed the damage swiftly and I stood up straight again, sweat covered and panting a bit. "Kokichi, is that-?" I heard Todo ask as he saw me recover from a Black Flash quickly.

I nodded. "Reverse Cursed Energy. I cracked it recently." I saw him grin and clap me on the back.

"We'll win." He looked to Yuji. "For the ones who fell before us!" The vessel, caught up in his burning spirit, nodded and readied himself for another exchange with Mahito.

Said spirit was again running towards us, scythe-like appendage replacing his right arm. Todo, left hand missing, was still brimming with energy. I remembered something from back when we where first sparing together and trying out team combos. I grunted and motioned for him to pay attention. He looked at me and I made some hand movements with my left hand.

He grinned.

Replacing a Mechamaru-made sword, I tossed him my Inverted Spear. He covered it with the light blue aura of his Cursed Energy and threw it at Mahito, who, now extremely wary of the weapon, dodged it with a tilt to the left. I swung my flat left palm upwards, hitting Todo's descending left to create a shrill clap.

I was behind Mahito the as the world shifted around me. I saw Todo catch the spear as I fell downwards to encircle the Curse's neck with my elbow. In addition and unexpectedly, Yuji had shifted in front of the now choke-held spirit, fist cocked for a strike. Todo threw the spear with all the power he had. It flew like a bullet as I felt Mahito start to swing his scythe-arm backwards and towards my neck. It didn't matter, Mahito was grimacing heavily as the spear impaled itself over his heart, cancelling his active transfiguration and returning his hand to normal, the only modification I'd made to mine and Todo's team attack.

Yuji, black sparks of power radiating outwards, impacted the stomach of the now blank-stared Curse. "Black Flash!" The vessel shouted and I stepped backwards, taking the spear out of the spirit as he flew backwards.

But all of that didn't prevent what I'd sought out to prevent. Mahito standing up straight and leaning backwards heavily, his hands to his face. "Fuck!" I yelled, catching the attention of the two next to me. But they quickly refocused on the Cursed Spirit as he exploded outwards in a macabre display of twisted and bloated flesh. It grew and grew until...

It all stopped. Now, instead of Mahito, there was a twisted and empowered version of him. Purple skinned and missing everything a face should have except a permanently grinning mouth. His elbows had a spike flowing backwards and he seemed over all stronger. His neck was more amass of strings and a tail swished behind him.

We heard him speak, voice distorted but still recognizable as his. "After using Black Flash, I understood the unbridled nature of my Soul. Witness, the beginning of my true birth!" Yuji was having none of it, being the first of us to engage the newly reformed spirit. I was close behind but could only watch as Yuji blocked a tail swipe, was caught by the black hair-like mass behind the head of the curse and was then forced to tank a cut to the face with the now shifted spike on Mahito's elbow.

He now had the wound over the bridge of his nose he'd lacked due to never having confronted Choso. God, this world really is set on keeping some things the same. I had reached Yuji, now, and threw a good swipe of my dagger. Mahito tilted out of the way, throwing Yuji backwards with the motion before finishing his spin by backhanding me on the shoulder.

I tumbled across the ground a bit, following the direction Yuji went before we saw Todo reach the spirit, at which point their contest of strength was on. Mahito's increased durability carried him as he was barely dented by the few strikes the grade one hit. Mahito's tail started twitching before reforming to have a spear-tipped end which then stabbed into Todo's right forearm, who was blocking two consecutive punches.

I contemplate how this fight went in cannon again and remember how important it was for Yuji's development. I sigh, letting said vessel begin returning to the Curse first, taking the proverbial lead in the fight now. Todo had collapsed to one knee, too injured and lacking a lot of Cursed Energy. I shout. "You can back off, Mahito has already tanked a Black Flash, he's already weak!" I see him reluctantly nod as said Spirit turns to the approaching Yuji instead of finishing off Todo. The grade one sorcerer grins towards me, though it's a bit shaky.

"You two got this! I trust you!" He then disappears with a flash, reappearing a few dozen meters away, close enough to intervene but too far to meaningfully react. I could heal him but that Black Flash really took a lot out of me and the rest of the RCE I have is not enough to fully restore anything of Todo's.

RCE: 920/775.000

I could only get it up to 20.000 back when I was resting, and a lot went to healing up what Toji did. I'm not that good at the conversion of normal Cursed Energy into the reverse, so it's still better suited at a stockpile of limited healing instead of the constant that most higher level sorcerers have it as.

The next good amount of time was spent in CQC with the awakened Curse, tanking hits or dealing slashes for me. We had the upper hand, no doubt. Though Yuji was still caught off guard once and got his cheek cut open by that spike but otherwise, we where bodying the Curse. And he was not liking it, shutting and screaming like a child how this was his evolution and how he would soon kill us all.

I cut up one of his heels with my spear as I as ducked low behind him before I continued to spin away from them, me and Yuji having silently planned this as the finishing move. The vessel was in an intense focus and now that Mahito had so graciously taken a kneel, he had enough time to charge up. "Black Flash!" The distinct energy wave of the to-be signature move launched the curse across the ground, breaking off his newly generated armor into little pieces of rubble along his tossed path.

The Curse, hair down in a mess, was in bad condition and I let Yuji approach alone. It was his worst enemy, his to finish and the expression of determination on his face made me back off on instinct. I was still in range to see their conversation. "I'll accept it, Mahito." I heard Yuji begin, voice even and calm. "I am you." The Curse looked up, one visible eye wide and fearful as he crawled on all his hands and knees. "I really wanted to reject you..." I slowly approached, my soft footsteps not registering as they seemed to be in their own world. "I wanted to pretend I didn't understand what you said." Yuji's expression nor his head moved as he just looked down on his own personal Curse.

"But that's different now."

On his mirror.

"I'll just kill you." It was a promise.

"And if you're ever reborn again as a new Curse, I'll kill you then too." It was his conviction.

"Change your name, your appearance, I'll kill you again and again and again." It as Yuji Itadori.

"I don't need a meaning or a reason anymore. Maybe there is some reason to be found for my actions several centuries after I'm dead and I'm sure that I'm just one giant cog in the wheel." Mahito started trembling, breathing rapidly. I enjoyed the show. "And I'll keep on killing Curses until I rust away." It was something entirely different to see it in real life. "Because..." I could almost see the snowy landscape, the dead trees, appear around us. It was like a vivid dream. My respect for Yuji shot up drastically as I witnessed him first-hand. Witnessed the hunt.

"That seems to be my role in this war."

...

Mahito started running away, like an injured animal. Like a rabbit. Like prey.

Yuji followed in a calm but determined stride, like the hunter. Like the wolf. Like the predator.

It was pitiful. When Mahito tumbled with a twisted leg and started shouting, almost begging with yelps and cries, Yuji just watched. The only reaction of the vessel was when Mahito tossed a ball of mud with a rock in it, but it only made the sorcerer lean backwards a bit from the impact. He focused back on his prey quickly.

Yuji punched, Mahito crawled back and dodged. Yuji kicked, Mahito flew.

Mahito crawled and crawled until we all saw him flicker into the area like a ghost. Geto stood above the Curse filled with primal fear. "Geto!" It was a sorry cry.

"Would you like me to save you, Mahito." He was a collected man, as if he knew what would happen and that it would happen by his design.

Both me and Yuji started running towards the Sorcerer. Yuji heard the name. "Give us back Gojo, now!" He shouted and I used a burst of speed to catch up to the vessel.

"People believed Catfish where connected to earthquakes and told stories of such a monster until the mid-edo era." Geto began as I charged up for another burst of speed. He saw me with the Inventory Curse and the Spear and frowned but continued his monologue nonetheless. "They believed that when this Unumazu moved underground, it caused earthquakes to occur." He released a catfish-like Curse into the ground.

We both stepped forwards and even when I knew what would happen, I still couldn't resist dashing backwards when I felt myself loose touch with the ground and fall into the gigantic maw of a beast. I landed on solid ground, nothing in between me and Geto but an equally grounded Yuji. Before Geto could unleash the centipedes upon Yuji like he did in cannon, Mahito jumped forwards.

Geto smiled and a purple light covered the area, Mahito deforming until he spun like spaghetti in a whirlpool around the possessed sorcerer. We heard him shout and scream as we both got back up on our feet, I especially fast as I began to run to stop it. But it was too late, I couldn't unleash a burst of speed nor any other movement enhancing attack as Geto held out the now turned blue orb. "The supreme art of Cursed Spirit Manipulation is Uzumaki. Which combines Cursed Spirits into a mass of Cursed Energy to attack your opponent with."

I was too far away.

"It wasn't very tempting to me at first. After all, it throws away the versatility of Curse Spirits. I thought it was simply a way to recycle low-level Spirits." He shook his head, blue orb sitting playfully in his hand. "But I was wrong. It shows it's true value when it is used with a Cursed Spirit of semi-grade one or above and their technique is extracted." He swallowed the ball. I sigh, stopping my approach and instead charging up RCE. I was only a few dozen meters away from Geto, who was looking at me now as I stood between him and Yuji.

He averted his gaze to look up as I felt a burst of Cursed Energy. "Do you think me foolish? That I would not sense your approach the second you entered my range?" Momo, on her broomstick, let her lantern flare with a burning Cursed Energy flame. A second later, a hail of arrows flew towards Geto from behind us. I sigh, cringing. They where here. Even when I let my little bot tell them to stay back, they still came.

I knew I had charged up about one or two thousand RCE units, though because I rushed the conversion, it cost me triple that in CE, I dashed forwards again as the hail of arrows impacted with Geto. The dust cleared and he just stood there in his robe, one arrow in hand. I engaged him in hand-to-hand. "I see you have come into possession of something you shouldn't have." He addressed me. I ignored him and I stabbed my spear forward, though it was caught as a hail of ants descended from a mass of shadow above me. They had spikes all over them and started crawling towards me relentlessly. I heard the distinct sound of a gunshot but the wall of insects blocked my sight as I unleashed a burst of Cursed Energy to keep them away.

"I wont let you." My Solver's... cooldown isn't negated or helped along by RCE but it had been enough time as for it to be in peak condition again. And so.. My eye flared up, having stayed closed until now. I slid two blocks of stone upwards and crushed the waterfall of ants in their entirety. I then pushed the wall forwards, impacting Geto who was not expecting it and, when the rubble cleared, was struggling to keep Miwa's blade caught in his open palm.

I locked eyes with her and her grimace turned softer and my heart skipped a beat, but we both focused back on the fight. I let ten spikes stab out of the ground, which Geto jumped over, his hand cut open from the sudden release of the blade. High up in the air, a mass of very familiar skin and a morphed face appeared in a swirl behind the sorcerer. "Uzumaki!" He shouted out in the air. I felt wind swish and myself move as somebody carried me.

When the world returned from a vision of dust and the noise of a hefty explosion, I as in the company of Kusakabe, the plain T wearing swordsman who stood straight with his weapon in a blocking stance, Momo, who was complaining to Sensei Utahime in her traditional robes and finally Miwa, in her suit and laying next to me.

When Sensei saw me, she rushed over as I just laid on the floor, elbow propping me up. "I heard that you where alive but..." She then chopped me on my head, I winced. "Don't do that again. The betraying nor the dying!"

I nodded. "Understood, Sensei!" I spoke loud and clear, respect for my teacher still engraved into my body. I look towards my Sensei. "That's isn't Geto. It's a Sorcerer possessing his body through transplanting his brain, he's been doing this for hundreds of years." I begin, knowing that they need to get this information somehow without Choso.

"Are you sure? That's..." Utahime nods, though unsure if to trust me completely.

I hear Geto speak up before I can reconnect with Miwa, his words stilling my movements. "Kokichi Muta has grown in strength... I think I should speed things up, don't you think so Uraume?" Said white haired Ice manipulator slides in next to Geto.

Her neutral face nods. "I agree, you spend too much time frolicking."

Geto chuckles and nods. "Yes, yes, I'll get on with it." His hand touched the ground as he leaned downwards, a purple glow descending on us all, even past the gigantic hole between us. "Idle Transfiguration." He called out and above us, a good kilometer wide, a gigantic insignia appeared, a smaller copy appearing on the ground where Geto stood.

I just let it happen. I've saved enough and I can predict the plot far better if the Culling Games happen. So, I sigh, and fall onto the floor, heavily exhausted from all I'd had to do tonight. I've never recovered my stamina, only healed myself or regained Cursed Energy. I knew I could pass out any minute, but I could also fight. I decided it would be better to give in for now, to let this happen. Information is the sharpest blade, I think and if I know what'll happen, I can hopefully prevent the absolute worst event in JJK. Sukuna's true rebirth.

I then sigh, I'd have to leave the main cast for now but I'll be back shortly. I hope Nanami will be with Yuji at the beginning of his extermination arc instead of Choso but I know the vessel will pull through. After all, Yuta doesn't actually want to kill him.

I spring up in a flash and lean down towards Miwa. "I'll be gone for a while. If you want to find me..." I ripped out a small chunk of stone with my eye and with the help of the Solver, engraved a map to my base into the small, palm-sized rock. "here. But you'll have better things to worry about." Then, I disappear, starting to sprint back to my base, my speed getting slower and slower as I left the center of Shibuya.

I didn't feel bad about leaving, Yuki will be there shortly. So, as I saw the sun slowly rise as I approached the bridge where my base was at, I focused on my notifications.

I grin as I touch down in front of a suspiciously high-tech door that is imbedded into the side of the bridge, the spot where Ultimate Mechamaru: Absolute stood blaringly empty. As I hear the soft hiss of it opening, I finally pass out.

I'm... not too happy with this chapter. Shibuya is a mess to write and by the end, I just wanted to get it done. So, I hope you are happy because I'm not really.
