The sequel to Persona 5-The Phantom Files. A few years after Ren returns home, the Phantom Thieves find themselves drawn back into the Metaverse once again out of nowhere after a mysterious app surfaces with the powers to access the Metaverse. 49. Message from the Author (Please Read)

Hey, sithlorde1988 here. I'm drafting this 'update' to let people know that, pending jdimock giving this note a quick once-over, the editorial process will be complete for Rise of the Monarchs. This means that once jdimock signs off on this note being set in terms of edits and the like, I can finally stick the 'COMPLETE' tag on Rise of the Monarchs, around a month after actually posting the final chapter.

And in addition to this being a heads-up that Rise of the Monarchs is 'COMPLETE' (aside from any periodic edits I have to slip into various chapters if jdimock sees any that are missed) pending jdimock's signoff on this being all set in terms of potential edits, I am also writing this to let anyone reading know that I plan to take a couple of weeks after this to just relax. Furthermore, I will be going through my other stories to see if I can find any that I can push out a quick chapter on, update those stories as necessary, and even backlog a few more chapters of my next upcoming project that I mentioned at the end of Chapter 48 (Persona 4: The Golden Apostle).

However, depending on how soon the two weeks are up, I might wait until early December to start posting chapters of The Golden Apostle, just so I don't have my upload schedules conflicting with the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, which is later this month (it's 1:30 AM on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 when I typed this note out for time-stamping purposes), so yeah.

But barring any unforeseen circumstances, I aim to post Chapter 1 (or rather Prologue Chapter 1 since I will go ahead and confirm that there are plans to have a 3-Part Prologue at the start of the story that sets the stage for the side plot that will be gradually playing out alongside the main plot of Persona 4 Golden, which The Golden Apostle is an adaptation of) anywhere between December 1st and December 5th. So anyone reading this who's excited about that story, I advise having me added to your Author Alerts/Favorite Authors lists so you can be alerted when I start posting the story. Otherwise, check my profile page often to see if I posted The Golden Apostle. For the sake of easy searching, I will list the title of the upcoming story here as well, which is:

So once the story is posted, that will be the title. But for now, I plan to get jdimock's signoff on this 'update' before fully sticking the 'COMPLETE' tag on Rise of the Monarchs (though for all intents and purposes, the editorial process is basically finished for the story as a whole, aside from this 'update'). After which, as I mentioned earlier, I intend to spend the next couple of weeks relaxing, quietly amassing a large backlog of chapters for The Golden Apostle, and possibly updating any other stories that I have extra chapters built up for (assuming I find any that I can easily update during that two-week period, and I make no promises on that aside from just looking).
