Sonic and the Freedom fighters

Hi everyone, this is mastershadow, I'm doing a sonic game timeline along with some side stories, but with the freedom fighters and many more friends, even six certain characters from another world which will be merged later on (forgot to mention that), including chronicles because I liked the game, but the story could be a little better along with the planned sequel, I'm also adding the events from the idw comics because they're awesome, also Sally won't hook up with sonic for a while until way later, but for now enjoy.

Mobius meets Equestria part 4- Sombra separated?

The scene shows the main six and the freedom fighters in Twilights castle.

"This doesn't make sense, how can Sombra be back again?" Twilight asked." this is the third time."

"Third time?" Sally asked."

"Yeah, the first time was when the crystal empire returned after 1000 years under a curse," Applejack replied."

"The second time was because Discord's way of training twilight to have her prepared for being the future ruler," Rainbow Dash said." he almost won if Star swirl hadn't showed up."

"I see," Sally said." and I guess the dark emerald brought him back?" Rock asked."

"Looks like it," Discord replied."

"Then let's beat this guy and get the emerald," Sonic said as he dashed off."

"Do you know where the crystal empire is?" Scarlet asked."

Sonic stops and dashes back to them and shrugs. Sally smacks herself in the head.

"I tell you once I tell you again Sonic, think before you run off," Sally said."

"Happens often?" Rarity asked."

"Yup," Tails replied."

"So, how about we use the warp ring to get there," Pinkie Pie said."

"Good idea," Twilight said."

She uses the warp ring an opens a portal to the crystal empire. the main six, Spike, Discord, and the freedom fighters go through. As they enter the empire, they see the crystal ponies as prisoners while the crystal guards are fighting some dark creatures.

"This is bad," Fluttershy said."

"Let's help the guards first," Sally said."

"Right!" everyone said."

A dark creature jumps at that in surprise until Antonie uses his sword to slice it.

"Nice work Ant," Sonic said." Now let's do it to it!"

The group help the guards fight the creatures until they met up with Twilights brother.

"Shining armor!" Twilight yelled."

"Hey Twilight," Shining armor said." I'm glad your here."

"Is Flurry ok?" Twilight asked."

"Yeah, after Sombra's last return, Cadence and I made a safe room for her," Shining Armor replied."

"Good," Twilight said."

"Are those the freedom fighters I heard about?" Shining armor asked."

"Yeah, didn't you see the race," Twilight replied."

"Haven't had the TV installed yet," Shining Armor said."

"Heads up!" Sonic said as he spin dashes towards the creature."

"Thanks," Shining Armor said."

They suddenly hear laughter. they turn and see Sombra walking towards the group while having Cadence and Flurry trapped in dark bubbles. Sombra's appearance was a Mobian as like everyone else and he has the dark emerald in his chest.

"Cadence! Flurry!" Shining Armor yelled."

"How are you back again?" Twilight asked."

(Chuckles) "Simple, a weird wave brought me back and I found this emerald, and it gave me a boost in power," Sombra replied."

"The chaos wave," Nicky said."

"Great," Manic said."

"And with this power, I shall rule Equestria!" Sombra declared." but first to deal with you."

He fires a powerful blast. which Twilight uses a barrier with Rocks help. then Star Swirl appeared and adds power to the barrier.

"Thanks old timer," Rock said."

"I'm not old since I've been in limbo," Star Swirl said."

"You again you lousy," Sombra said until he suddenly felt a surge of pain in his body." Again, why do you keep getting in the way?"

"What's going on with him?" Manic asked."

"Something's hurting him inside," Bunnie replied."

"Then we have to get the emerald away from him," Sonia said."

"Yes, but how?" Antonie asked."

"We'll figure that out as we fight," Sonic replied."

Destroy them!" Sombra ordered."

The creatures charge at them until they got blasted. the group sees the source being a Mobian turtle with rockets and cannons on his shell which Sonic and Sally recognized."

"Tommy?!" They said."

"Hey guys," Tommy said."

"How did you do that?" Sonic asked."

"I'll explain later," Tommy replied."

Spike rushes Sombra and grabs the dark emerald trying to pull it out.

"You pesky dragon, I should ended you after returning the first time," Sombra said."

He grabs Spike by his throat trying to choke him.

"Spike!" Twilight yelled."

As he struggles, the dark emerald shines and gives Spike a boost in dark power and showed a blurry vision showing a dark creature looking at him. Later Spike was on the ground holding the dark emerald.

"Spike, you got the emerald!" Rainbow Dash said."

"Not only that, but it also looks like Sombra's been split," Pinkie Pie said."

They see two Sombra's the Sombra they know and the other Sombra looking normal with a red crystal cutie mark and wearing a red scarf.

"That's new," Rarity said."

Evil Sombra gets up.

"Thanks for separating me from my weak other half, now I can destroy you all!" Evil Sombra said."

As he was about to destroy everyone starting with Spike, the good Sombra gets up just in time and blast at him in the back.

(Struggling) "I... won't... let you... hurt anyone anymore," Good Sombra said."

"Even after how we were treated when we were folds?" evil Sombra asked."

"Yes," good Sombra replied as he pulls out a blue emerald."

(Shocked) "that emerald!" evil Sombra said."

"A chaos emerald!" Sonic said."

"We found it not long after the found the dark emerald," good Sombra said." now it's time to end this nightmare."

The good Sombra uses the emeralds power to finally defeat his evil half leaving him powerless.

"Hello, aren't you going to destroy him?" Rainbow Dash asked."

"No, he's my other half so I must reunite with him," good Sombra replied."

He puts his hand and his evil half's chest and absorbs him leaving everyone shocked. Soon, Cadence and Flurry were free as well as the creatures disappearing.

"I'm so sorry, since I was little, I was somehow bothered by the crystal heart, and I couldn't leave and join in on the fun. so, for years I study Star Swirls books and next thing I know I used dark magic, and it consumed me and created my other half," Sombra said."

"I see, you weren't taught how to handle dark magic, I'll help you master it," Star Swirl said."

"Of course," Sombra said." I wish to learn from you."

After the battle, Cadence informed the citizens about Sombra and his evil half and Spike saving him. as the citizens understood and forgave Sombra and welcomed him and praised Spike as their continued hero. as Sombra noticed that he wasn't feeling any pain from the crystal and realized the chaos emerald helped him. everyone celebrates the peace in the crystal empire, Spike was still bothered by the vision he saw and muttered the word Baphomet.

'Why do I know that name?' Spike thought.'
