Angry Luigi woke up, annoyed. Today was the play and his birthday. He goes downstairs and makes himself some breakfast.
Meanwhile, the siblings and Garth's friends made Garth a nice birthday breakfast.
"Awww, sweet! Seaberry pancakes! Where did you find the seaberries?" Garth asked. "Atlanteans can almost never find them in the wild! Not even me!"
"You have Barry and Shane to thank for that. They found a patch not far from your family's castle." Luke says. "It was pretty well-hidden."
"And they taste incredible!" Oliver Queen says, trying a few. "I got a call from the drama teacher this morning and she is in quite the bind. The boy who had the role of Patrick has laryngitis and has to stay home to recover, so she was wondering if you would like to take his place, Garth."
"Are you kidding?! Of course! I'd love to!" Garth squealed. "I'm excited now!"
"Let's go over Patrick's lines after breakfast." Oliver Queen says with a smile. Garth grinned as he ate three helpings of seaberry pancakes and drank two glasses of orange juice to wash it all down.
With Brandy, he finished his breakfast and was practicing the song Poor Pirates, making sure to stay in tune. He was grateful to have a role, even if it was a minor one.
"Idiot." his brother says.
"Randy, what did I tell you about calling your brother names?" Skylia asked. He sighed and walked off.
Savannah planned to have the party after the play.
Bill contacted them, saying he needed help in Greendale.
"Guys, it's an emergency!" Bill says.
"What is it this time?!" Brandy asked, annoyed. "I swear, if another bad guy got loose, I'm going to scream! I don't want to be fighting today!"
Meanwhile, Luke and the others took Garth out. Garth's mind wandered, thinking about the wish he made last night.
"It won't come true!" He sobbed, throwing a fit.
"Garth, we're here for you." Hal says.
"You know I'm stressed about tomorrow. But you guys don't understand!" Garth says.
"We do." Luke says. "We know you're nervous."
"You're a great hero and you make us proud to be called your teammates." Hal says.
He sniffed and smiled a little.
"Now, let's have fun before you and Ollie-boy steal the show later!" Hal says.
With Brandy, he was annoyed that he had to be called to Greendale for some emergency.
He arrived to see Mr. and Mrs. Clusterfield in some tank.
"Again with this?!" Brandy sighed in annoyance and transformed.
"He came." Emma says, tied up as Angry Luigi leaped on the tank.
"You little pest!" Mrs. Clusterfield says, holding some chemical and tossed it toward Angry Luigi
"Look out!" Bill and Jason say as Angry Luigi dodges it entirely, then growls.
"Is this the dumb emergency you brought me here for?!" Angry Luigi growled as he tackled both of the Clusterfields.
"No, something bigger." Bill says.
"I swear, if it's an invasion or anything of the sort, I will flip the hell out!" Angry Luigi says as he tossed the Clusterfields into a wall.
"Okay, something tells me you would let us go to our deaths. You like Luke more than us. You're probably celebrating a birthday week." Bill says.
Delta sighed, going to deal with it. "You guys don't need to help me."
"I told you that I have to make time for both you and my new friends. I thought you were accepting of that, but I see now that you need me more than ever." Angry Luigi says.
"You know the Golden Shooter is still probably hunting you down, but I'll fight him and Asyuard. You guys take care." Delta says, rushing out.
"That was the emergency I was called here for?" Angry Luigi asked.
"We wanted to keep you safe before they capture you." Delta says.
"Yeah, you mean a lot to me." Savannah says.
"You wanted me to stay on your team because you were in love with me." Angry Luigi stated.
"I accepted the ultimatum you made and I know you're making time for us and your other friends. We know you can't always be around to help us out." Savannah says.
"Believe me, the nice side and all that is still part of me. But I've grown up and made other friends that also accept me for who I am. You guys will always be my first set of friends, but you will not be as high of a priority." Angry Luigi says. "I know you want me back on the team full-time, but I have to make time for that now."
As he leaves, two silhouettes are behind him. They were Mike and Josh.
"Wanna help us eliminate your disrespectful team? If you do, you get to be with Luke and Atticus." Mike says. Brandy thinks.
"We know they're going to probably ruin the play. Who's more important, Luke and the boys or your stupid friends?" Josh says. Brandy then realizes what he must do.
He rushed off as Mike and Josh snicker, happy with their lie.
With Garth, he was sitting with his friends.
"So, what is an Atlantean coronation like?" Barry asked.
"It's quite a magical event. When my dad had his coronation, he had a choir and a string quartet, and his crown was stunning. I started dreaming of my first coronation ever since I was small." Garth says. "A fancy suit jacket with the pants to match, lively music, speeches that speak my praise…even a crown as stunning as my dad's."
Meanwhile, Savannah comes to the Parks' house and sees a bloody Skylia on the ground.
"Oh, my gosh! What the?!" She asked before Insanity stabbed her as she fell down, dead.
"Ha, ha, ha! You liars! Who's next? Oh, right, Melony." Insanity says and teleports as he had destroyed the Blue and Green Lantern Corps before this.
Melony was at home as Insanity flew and kicked Melony as she fell hard and tried to get up as Insanity stabbed her a couple of times. "Die, die, die!" he screamed as she coughed out blood, trying to get up, but her body gave up as she died. Insanity laughed as he saw Alem tuber.
"Okay, you idiot. Where are Willow's fathers?!" Alem tuber asked as Insanity tossed their heads down and laughed.
"Great, I got to fight on my birthday." Alem tuber says.
"No, your death day!" Insanity laughed and blasted him and Emma causing an explosion as Insanity laughed some more. He rushed and killed Alex, Jack, and Reilly.
"Wow, he's doing it." Mike says and high-fived Josh.
"Awesome!" Josh says as Insanity blasted them, killing them.
"Fools, I work alone!" Insanity says.
Edric and Emila were kissing when Insanity crashed in and smirked, blasting them, causing an explosion. But they were somehow still alive. Edric had teleported away, leaving Emila there.
Insanity smirked as she used magic, but he broke out and stabbed her. He laughed evilly as Belos started to take control.
"I'm back." he says and rushes off to continue his killing spree.
Jerbo came home to see Savannah's dead body in an oven.
"Holy cow…" Viney says.
Skara comes home and sees Willow's dead dads. Emma was hurt and Alem tuber was injured, looking at his dead mother.
"Oh, my God…he's returned, hasn't he?" Skara says.
"Yeah." Alem tuber says as there was a news report about an 1,100 person death count.
Emma sobs. "I bet it was Mike and Josh. They tricked Angry Luigi." She sniffed.
"Me and Willow will rally the troops. You guys, just be safe." Skara says as she and Willow were soon calling all the covens they could.
There was destruction as Belos was using Insanity's power to destroy Mars.
Chrissy and Delta try to attack Belos, who dodged and blasted them both.
The covens soon gathered in a safe house below Blight Manor as Skara, Willow, Gus, Luz, Amity, Hunter, Edric, Emira, Jerbo, Viney, and all the covens and their members gathered in groups. Skara had formed a battle plan.
"We aren't going to hold back this time." Luz says.
"We are going to extract that damn Belos and we will make sure he can't hurt anyone else ever again." Amity says.
"Remember, we're not going to back down. We're going to fight fire with fire. We are strong and we will defend our honor! We will not hold back!" Skara says.
They all cheered.
"Gear up, ladies and gentlemen! It's time to go to war!" Skara says.
Meanwhile, Bill was working on his machines as Belos arrived, glaring as he froze Bill before causing chaos in Greendale as there was fire everywhere.
Belos laughed when he arrived at the Green Lantern Corps and shot white flames, burning everything, then shot a blast at the Violet Lantern Corps tower before going to finish the job and kill everything Angry Luigi cared about.
Some time later, he looks for Luz and sees her mother and smirks evilly. But before he laid a hand on her, the entire group emerged from the shadows.
"Leave her alone!" Luz screamed. She wasn't alone.
Insanity shot a blast at her, but she dodged it with ease.
"I'm not alone." Luz says.
"I can see that." Belos says and lifted Gus up with magic snapping his fingers exploding his heart and dropping the body.
"What? No one cared for him." he laughed.
"Gus!" Everyone says.
Belos had magic blades. "Who's next?"
Willow used vines as he cut through them and froze the abominations. He leaped and kicked Amity and Willow, then slammed Hunter down.
"Oh, Hunter, you're worthless!" He laughed, crushing his jaw and face, causing one of his eyes to explode as blood came out. Skara kicked Belos, who slapped her and started blitzing past most of the covens so fast, they couldn't stop it as they were all sent flying as Belos leaped up and punched one leader and used it as a shield as others blasted the body. Belos used fire magic, causing an explosion.
"Angry Luigi is gone!" Belos says, removing Angry Luigi's soul from the body and crushing it. He goes to kill Skara, but Alem tuber takes the killing blow. Belos looked annoyed and tossed the dead body away and looked at Emma and grabbed her, stabbing her and blasted her body.
"Where's the Foxes when you need them?" Hunter screamed.
"I'd kill them if they came." Belos says.
Suddenly, magic binds tied him up as he tore through them. The Foxes got ready to fight.
"Well, come at me, all of you! I know Luke doesn't like fighting on his friend's day and he's the only one at my level." Belos says.
The witches and Foxes used their magic together as Belos was destroyed.
Willow could be seen sobbing against Hunter's injured body. She had already lost her dads. She didn't want to lose Hunter.
"He'll live." Emira says. "We better get Ready for Garth's day. He needs us more."
"I'm not going." Willow says coldly. She was soon grieving.
"Emma, wake up..." Skara says as Viney used one of her powerful healing glyphs on her and Alem tuber. Emma slowly woke up.
Emma looked at her dead brother and sobbed hard. Alem tuber looked at the body next, and he was shocked.
"Dad's dead, Mom's dead, damn Cool Josh!" Alem tuber says.
Cool Josh was watching and laughing.
With Garth, he was sitting with his friends, just now getting the news of the Park men's deaths.
"Dude, we should do something to help." Barry says.
"But my play…" Oliver Queen says.
"Right. We should worry about that first, then talk about tributes." Garth says.
Garrett sees Melony's bloody body in the manor. He was in disbelief as Luna was soon burying the body with Lana's help. Lucy also helped them.
"It was a bloody mess. Most of the cosmic buddies were executed and killed." Lois says to the girls, who had joined the guys.
"Unbelievable…" Kara says, shaking her head.
Barbara sobbed as she was reliving the events of several weeks ago, when she killed her counterpart.
"I can't believe we sat like cowards and let them die. 3,000 people died." Diana says and leaves, filled with guilt.
"There was nothing we would have been able to do to stop this, or we would have died, too." Shane says.
"I would rather be dead than be a coward." Diana sobbed as she was soon gone at that point.
"We should have done something." Jessica says. "I'm a horrible excuse for a Lantern!"
"We really should have done something." Clark says, holding Kara.
"Most of the Lanterns were killed." Hal confessed as he had an arm around Jessica. "A lot of them survived, however, lucky to be alive after all the destruction that occurred."
"So you're all going to forget my day. You all are horrible!" Garth screamed as he unleashed a tidal wave in anger.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Luke says, freezing the tidal wave. "Garth, give us a chance to celebrate your day. We know you're stressed and upset and everything, but we have to be serious about the situation that occurred."
"Why should I care about those assholes? They deserved it." Oliver Queen says.
"Yeah." Garth says as they leave, still thinking of the Parks' memorial idea that he would talk to his parents about later.
Lucy sighed. "Sorry, Luke." she says.
"Not your fault, Luce." He says
"He scared us." Leni whimpered, thinking of Belos.
"We should have all been thinking of fighting Belos. And we didn't." Luke says.
Later, Alem tuber and Emma grabbed their stuff, preparing to leave. They would have to find a new place to live. Skara and Willow were moving in with Amity, Emira, and Edric. Jerbo and Viney were going to live with Savannah's parents, who were still alive.
Edric sobbed, mourning the loss of his girlfriend as Alador held him.
"I left her to die!" He sobbed.
"You would have died with her if you hadn't left." Emira says.
"I could've taken her with me, but I was stupid!" he sobbed.
Alem tuber and Emma kept walking
"You deserve it." Oliver Queen says as Alem tuber grabs him out of anger before putting him down and leaving the manor since hurting him wasn't an option anymore.
"You don't deserve to be Mr. Royal Metro." Hal says to Oliver Queen. "That was cold."
"But he was planning to ruin my play!" He says. Charity intervened.
"Oliver Queen, enough. You need to think about what course of action you plan to take next. Because if it's a bad course, your title will go to Ollie Chen. Just. Like. That." She says.
Oliver Queen then composes himself and walks off, not wanting to lose his Mr. Royal Metro title.
It started raining as Lola introduced Clover to hot chocolate. It burned Clover's tongue as she reared up. Forest cooled it off a bit before grabbing his coat.
"Have fun tonight, Mr. and Mrs. Huntington-Miller!" Sam says as the two of them head off to meet with Oliver Queen's biological parents, Robert and Moira, for coffee at the Burnt Bean before the play.
Angry Luigi lays in the back of the Oakley Academy auditorium, stitched up. He was crying quietly.
Forest and Charity soon meet up with Robert and Moira.
"Mr. and Mrs. Queen! Hello, hello!" Charity says.
"Charity! My gosh, you look amazing!" Moira says.
"Well, thank you." Charity says. "You look wonderful as well."
"Forest, wonderful to see you!" Robert says as the two of them shake hands.
"Wonderful to see you as well." Forest says with a smile.
Soon, the play was starting in an hour as Angry Luigi stood there in the back.
"Oliver Alexander!" Moira says.
"Mama! Papa!" Oliver Queen said and smiled upon seeing them.
"Hello, son." Robert says, hugging Oliver Queen.
"Good luck, sweetie pie!" Moira says as Oliver Queen smiles a little.
Soon, the play began as Charity, Forest, Robert, and Moira took their seats in the front row. Moira took out her video camera and began recording as it started.
Oliver Queen was doing great as SpongeBob while Garth made the perfect Patrick Star.
Once the first act ended, Oliver Queen's parents gave him some water and green apple Jolly Ranchers.
"Drink the water. And suck on the Jolly Ranchers. The Jolly Ranchers help your voice stay crisp and prevent you from getting mucus in your throat." Moira says.
Oliver Queen nodded and did just that.
"You are doing wonderful up there, son." Robert says as he rubs his son's shoulders.
Garth got a front row seat until it was time for him to go up on stage again.
Alem tuber saw this and growled, glaring at Oliver Queen. He has nothing left to lose as he already lost his mother. "I lose my mom and friends and all these guys do is party." He says.
"Oh, we're sorry we didn't hear about the whole thing until after it happened!" Hal snapped. "I have to deal with one of my mentors being BURNED ALIVE. If we were informed about all that earlier, then maybe it would have never happened!"
"And we don't always party all the time!" Shane snapped. "We have lives outside of parties and pageants!"
"We know your mom and friends died. Don't take your grief out on us." Barry says.
"We were fearful of dying ourselves! Have you ever even thought about that?" Luke hissed.
"Yeah, screw Belos." Garth says.
Alem tuber leaves. "I'm heading back to Greendale, where every real hero is ready for death." Alem tuber says and flies off.
Soon, Angry Luigi was on stage, starting off the second act with the song Poor Pirates as Delta watched.
"He's good!" Charity says.
"Oh, yes, very much so." Forest says.
After a bit, Oliver Queen appeared. Moira started recording again, smiling the whole time.
Angry Luigi was leaving once he was sure it was okay for him to. Sure, it was still his birthday. But as he had said before, he didn't want to celebrate it. Besides, Savannah was gone. His mom was gone. There was nothing to celebrate.
He starts packing his bags, ready to leave. He had no interest in Garth's party. Garth was fine with him not being there, knowing he was dealing with a lot.
"I'm probably not returning for a while." Angry Luigi says.
Soon, the play was on break before the final two songs. Moira and Robert were doting on Oliver Queen, making sure he looked and felt ready.
"So, who are these people here?" Shane asked, pointing to the adults standing with Oliver Queen.
"My parents." Oliver Queen says.
Angry Luigi looked down; he knew everyone was afraid of him; he was a monster.
He goes to an alleyway. It rained harder as he went into a box. "Why can't I die?" he asked himself
"If it isn't the freak!" one guy says. Angry Luigi said nothing and allowed them to beat the tar out of him until he was bruised up and beaten badly.
Soon Oliver Queen performed the last 2 songs with the cast as his fans and friends cheered. He then came down from the stage.
"That was amazing, honey!" Moira says. "Another successful performance!"
"Great job, son!" Robert says. "Your best performance yet!"
"Thanks, Mom and Dad." Oliver Queen says with a satisfied smile. "You recorded it, right, Mom?"
"Sure did, my little key lime dumpling!" Moira says. The guys snickered as Oliver Queen blushed.
"Time to celebrate Garth!" Leni says,
"Actually, can you guys hold off on the start of my party? I need to talk to my parents about something important." Garth says.
"Sure. Take your time." Hal says, smiling and allowing Garth to go and talk to his parents.
Alem tuber and Emma approached cool Josh's arena.
"This is the place. He challenged me to a one on one fight. He's going to get a fight." Alem tuber says as there were lots of fans cheering for Cool Josh to end Alem tuber.
"So, Cool Josh, you are aware all the damage is your fault, right?" Alem tuber says.
"Nah, you're the ones who triggered him" Cool Josh says and shoots ice as Alem tuber shoots an energy blast at the ice as he turns Super Saiyan and rushes Cool Josh into the wall.
Cool Josh kicked him as they flew up and tossed punches and kicks at each other. They try headbutting as Alem tuber punches Cool Josh, who kicks him back as Cool Josh uses an ice hammer to slam Alem tuber down.
Cool Josh froze Alem tuber. "Farewell, trash." Cool Josh says.
"No, please, I'll do anything! Spare him!" Emma pleaded, having suffered enough.
"Nope." Cool Josh said and broke him into pieces.
"No!" Emma screamed and sobbed as there were lots of cheers for his death.
"Cool Josh! Cool Josh! Cool Josh!" Fans chanted as he got his interview.
"Yeah, he was totally planning on ruining that play, so I had to stop him and now, well, my next mission is to hunt Insanity down. Insanity is wanted across 35 galaxies." Cool Josh says.
"No, I won't let you!" Emma says.
"Little girl, you should go home." Cool Josh said and walked off.
Garth walked into his parents' throne room. Caspian and Aerwyna turned to look at him.
"Hello, sweetie." Aerwyna says.
"What can we do for you, son?" Caspian asked.
"I want to do something to honor the Park men at my coronation tomorrow." Garth says.
"Like what?" Caspian asked.
"I want their pictures on the stage. In the castle's finest coral frames. And my friends could make cards for them at my party tonight." Garth says.
"Wonderful idea, sweetheart!" Aerwyna says.
"Gilbert Park and I do go way back, and I think this would be perfect." Caspian says. "I know that he and Harvey helped you and your friends through tough times when the school therapist couldn't. And I know that you'll include a way to thank them in your post-coronation speech."
Garth smiled. "I definitely will. Thanks for including this in my coronation." He says.
"Of course, coral-cake. I'll get the castle servants right on those pictures." Aerwyna says and swims off.
"I'll make all the arrangements. Go on and join your friends and we'll see you later, okay?" Caspian says.
"Okay, Dad." Garth says, smiling. He then swam up on the shore and shook himself dry before dashing off to Gus' Games & Grub for his party.
He soon arrived as confetti fell on him.
"Surprise!" Everyone says.
"Awesome! I love what I see!" Garth says as he joins his friends. They then go off to play the arcade games.
Angry Luigi sat in the Parks' house on top of gasoline. "Let's see if this trick will work." Angry Luigi says, blowing it up.
Luckily, none of Willow's stuff was there. And she had taken all of her dads' stuff with her as well, so none of that was destroyed.
Meanwhile, Delta meets Bill. "Hey, Bill, listen, most of the team is dead except me. Honestly, we should have gotten Belos out of him sooner." Delta says.
Bill groaned. "So what now?" He asked as Delta shrugged.
With Garth, he and his friends were gathered at the prize counter, wondering what they could get.
"See anything you guys like?" Garth asked.
Hal thinks as he looks at the huge amount of prizes on the prize wall.
"The marbled blueberry cupcake Squishmallow." Oliver Queen says.
"Oooh, the Michigan Wolverines football!" Hal says.
"Oh, the ice cream maker!" Barry says.
"I like the cotton candy maker!" Shane says.
"Hmmm, the Ace Savvy action figure for me." Luke says. "What about you, Garth?"
He chose a SpongeBob alarm clock that played The F.U.N. Song, which is his favorite song to listen to from said TV show.
Meanwhile, Angry Luigi walked to the castle as confetti fell on him. The Mario Bros., Peach, Toads, Toadette, Daisy, Pauline, and Rosalina were there
"Happy birthday!" They all say
Angry Luigi smiled at this. He actually could accept it.
Soon, Alem tuber arrived as the others came out through a gift box to surprise them. He was stunned.
"We managed to revive them, though they're probably going to have some trauma issues." Rosalina says.
"Let's get this party started!" one of Willow's fathers says.
"All right!" Daisy says.
"You guys probably shouldn't tell Garth as he had plans to honor the Parks." Pauline says. "You probably shouldn't tell Willow, either. She is still suffering hard."
"Um, okay." Bill says.
They were all chatting and dancing as Alem tuber got a new basketball.
"Okay, let's face it, we couldn't find Melony's body." One Toad says.
Meanwhile, Lola looks at Clover who looked ready to pee herself due to fright. Sam rushed her to the bathroom, getting her to the toilet in time.
Clover sniffed. "I wanna go home." She says.
"You aren't going back to your old life. Not now or ever again." Sam says.
"I think she means your house." Lisa says " Clearly she's not used to parties. Or a house this big, for that matter."
"When the Huntington-Millers get back, we will." Sam says.
Suddenly, the rain stopped as the snow was finally gone. Melony burst out of the ground.
"Where is Cool Josh?" She asks as she hears a lot of music and sees him having a party.
"Hey, Cool Josh, suck on this!" Melony says, spitting exploding seeds as he dodges. He shoots ice. Melony barely dodges as she creates melon minions.
Fans were cheering Cool Josh on.
"Because of you, my friends were hurt. You're not a hero. You're a fraud!" Melony says as she dodges his attacks by reading his movements.
"How are you winning?! You're blind!" he says.
"And you talk too much." Melony says, kicking him in the goodies before walking off.
Meanwhile, the cosmic buddies played some mini-games and had some fun before going kart racing and even playing tennis.
"You two are getting better at this." Daisy tells Angry Luigi and Savannah.
"Thanks!" Savannah says. 18-Volt played some nice music.
With Garth, he sighed.
"So, are you okay?" Karen asked him.
"No, tomorrow is probably not going to be perfect." He says.
"Parties don't have to be perfect. Just fun. I think you just need to stop thinking about your party looking good and just have fun. You're too tense." Karen says.
"Easy for you to say. You're not the one being crowned as an official Atlantean hero tomorrow." Garth says. "I've been nervous about it for weeks."
"Right, you're royalty just like Diana. Though if this was her, she'd probably freak out worse. Why don't you talk to her? She's probably the only one who can understand you. No offense, but not everyone is lucky enough to be royalty." Karen says.
Garth scurries off to find Diana.
She was training like usual. She then looks down to see Garth.
"Whatever is the matter, young warrior?" She asked. She saw Garth's stone-blue eyes shimmering with tears.
"Do not cry. Tell me your problem." She says as Garth was sobbing and telling her everything.
Meanwhile, the cosmic buddies did a sneak peek of their next performance for the ASTS.
Toads were cheering. Bowser was watching this.
"Hm, Peach is hosting a party for them?" Bowser asked.
"Let us not attack today. Let's wait for that shape-shifter to go to sleep for a week." Ludwig says.
"Yeah, we'll attack Peach another day." Bowser laughed.
"You mean tomorrow, don't you?" Ludwig asked.
"Of course." Bowser says as the Koopalings roll their eyes.
"What? You think Bone Mage and Matchstick are weak? They're currently cooking up something powerful and I know it should take Mario and his pesky friends out." Bowser says.
Diana could see the nervous feelings that Garth was emitting and expressing.
"So, you see, with my coronation that will crown me the newest Atlantean hero tomorrow, it's made me feel like a nervous wreck for weeks on end. My friends honestly haven't been much help when it comes to boosting my confidence about it." Garth sniffed.
"Look, it's going to be tough, but you need to be strong on the inside." Diana says. "You'll be the best hero, in Atlantis and beyond."
Garth had to smile after hearing that. His thoughts turned to last night's wish. He wondered if his friends even supported him through all this. He walked off as he thought about it all.
The twins were soon opening more presents.
Angry Luigi got new sneakers and smiled. He also got a new Luigi costume. Bill got him a new phone. Savannah was baking the cake for the twins.
Hal and Oliver Queen find Garth outside.
"Garth, are you okay?" Hal asked.
"You know you can talk to us." Oliver Queen says.
"Will you be at the coronation tomorrow?" Garth asked.
"Of course we will be!" Hal says. "We wouldn't miss it for anything, you know that."
They brought him back in as Charity went on the stage. She smiled as she picked up a microphone.
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please?" She says.
They all look at her as she smiles.
"First of all, a very happy 17th birthday to Garth Bernstein! Second, I had his permission to make these announcements." She smiled at Garth before continuing. "As you know, the upcoming ASTS show in a few weeks' time is going to be in my home state of Texas. And the announcement I'm making tonight, is that I'm going to be performing then, but not as a contestant. The MOCO fair committee asked me personally to perform for the fair patrons. And I said yes, I would be delighted. So, I will be performing on TV as well."
"Ooooh!" Garth clapped his hands, excited.
"Whoa! Mrs. Huntington-Miller, you're a singer?" Barry asked.
"I still am from time to time. I'm a lady of many talents." Charity says. "The other announcement is that I talked to the MOCO fair committee. And they agreed with me when I brought up the idea of a fair king, which they were ecstatic about. So not only will they be crowning a fair queen, they will also be crowning a fair king."
The boys squealed along with a few others, but especially Oliver Queen.
Meanwhile, Kali got Angry Luigi a compass in case he got lost. He went outside to think. "I suck at acting." he says.
"You did great." Savannah says. "I saw the video of your performance tonight. You made a wonderful pirate."
He smiled a bit.
"Are you ready for the piñata ?" Savannah asked him. Angry Luigi nodded as he went back in.
They see a mushroom piñata as the two of them work together to break it open as it rained candy.
With Garth, since Gus' Games & Grub didn't allow piñatas due to safety concerns and Garth only had gifts from some of Oliver Queen's drama friends that he already opened, everyone was sitting and making cards for Gilbert and Harvey instead. It was a chance to see how creative everyone could be.
"So, remind me why we're doing this." Hal says.
"They died." Luke says.
"I thought they came back…" Barry said, confused. Willow overhears.
"What?! They're alive?!" She asked. "They're alive?!"
"In the Mushroom Kingdom, resting." Shane says.
Willow just made her cards in silence, still shaken. Hunter holds her.
"Willow…" Hunter says.
"My dads are…" She stammered. "I can't believe it…"
At the twins' party, everyone was either chatting, dancing, or eating. Savannah was finishing with the cake.
A bit later, she finally emerged with it as the room filled with singing.
Randy wished to win ASTS. Brandy wished to go on one adventure with Cherry. They blew their candles out as everyone cheered.
"I gotta work on Garth's cake." Savannah says.
"For tonight or tomorrow?" Brandy asked.
"Both." Savannah says.
"Tomorrow's the coronation and birthday celebration at Epcot. Tonight, it's at Gus' Games & Grub." Jerbo says.
At Garth's party, everyone had finished making their cards, so they were now eating pizza, garlic knots, salad, and boneless wings while drinking Cokes and chatting.
"So, what kind of stuff are we gonna do at your coronation celebration?" Barry asked Garth.
"We're gonna go on a foodie tour around Epcot, eating at every food stand in all the countries that are represented there. And there will be wild dancing and Atlantean gelatin shots made with sparkling soda water. I'll finally get to be old enough to have a few!" Garth says, excited.
"Oooh! Soda water gelatin shots?! Yes, please!" Hal says.
"I'd like to try that, too!" Oliver Queen says. "Those sound awesome!"
Soon, it was cake time. Garth smiled as he sat in the chair Hal and Luke decorated for him with festively-colored foil birthday balloons and blue streamers.
"So, where is my cake?" Garth asked. "Am I not going to get one?"
Savannah was Lynn putting the finishing touches on it. Garth was trying to be patient.
She finished minutes later as Garth bounced in his chair.
"Yay! Birthday cake time!" Garth says. He smiled upon seeing the cake with M&M's all over it and 17 colorful candles, all lit. A white chocolate plaque sitting against the front of the cake read Happy Sweetest Of Seventeens, Garth Bernstein!
Everyone began to sing as Garth happily sang along.
"Make a wish! Make a wish!" His friends chanted as Hal had a camera.
Garth shuts his eyes and thinks before wishing that his coronation would go well tomorrow. He then opened his eyes and blew out every candle on the cake as his friends cheered the loudest.
Karen was soon feeding Garth some of his cake. He smiles with satisfaction as he enjoys every bite of it. After finishing his cake, he notices Hal looking down.
"Hey, I'm sorry about your mentor. He must have meant a lot to you, huh?" Garth says, sitting with Hal and holding one of his hands.
"Yeah. He was the same one who gave me my ring. And taught me everything I know about being a Lantern." Hal sighed. "He's in a better place now. That I know."
"You have us, fearless leader." Garth says, giving Hal a reassuring smile. "And Lynn, too."
Hal smiled a little. "So, are you ready for tomorrow, future Atlantean hero?" He asked Garth.
"Yeah, I know that I have to be strong inside and out. Sure, I'll be nervous, but I can do it." Garth says.
"We'll be there to support you." Hal says.
With the twins, the party was winding down. It had been a pretty wild day and the twins were grateful to celebrate their birthday, even if it was just for today.
