"Welcome back folks. This is grub here for this new round of Dead or Alive right here in Casino Night Zone. We have newcomers Yang Xiao Long and Lie Ren!"
"Well grub. Could you tell us a background for these two?"
"Eh... Not sure Joe. Unlike Sonic and Knuckles, we little background regarding them. However, what we do know is that, thanks to news we've gotten since last month, they're from a place called Remnant, they're huntress and hunters in training for "Beacon" Acadamy to fight off against some otherworldly creatures and that they helped Sonic and friends save South Island again."
"Huh... Well... like Sonic and Knuckles, it's their first time being here in the Dead or Alive tournament. Unlike them, however. This is their first time being familiar with what we're accustomed to since y'know? They're from a different part of the world."
"Ah... Now, for out next Contestants! The screen began randomizing who's gonna fight who before it was settled.

Leifang and Jann Lee
"Leifang and Jann Lee! Now that's who we know! These two is that they have been a part of the annual Dead or Alive Tournament as early as the first tournament. Jann met Lei when she was ambushed by a bunch of punks! Apparently? Him saving her is what led to her finding her strength and eventually, becoming one of the most favorite contestants here in the Dead or Alive!"
"Do you think she has crush on him from that ambush?"
"Actually! They're rivals! The fact the system are pairing them up together is pretty ironic.
"THANK YOU!" Leifang shouted in relief (AN: She does have a crush on him. It's just that she denies it).
"Enough with the talk... LET'S SEE A FIGHT!" The crowd cheered on.
Soundtrack Play: Dead or Alive 2 - Grand Style (Leifang's Theme)
Ren and Jann stood back to let Yang and Leifang fight. The blonde huntress grabbed the kung-fu fighter for a powerbomb. She, however, quickly got out of her grasp and launched Yang into the air. Leifang, then, juggled her with a 4-hit combo, kicked her with an overhead move and let her partner take over. Jann Lee kept the juggle combo going with two jabs, a knee kick and a stomp that knock her away.
"AAGHH!" Yang yelled. "(This is gonna be much harder without my weapons...)" She quickly got up and grabbed him. "COOOLD! SHOULDEERRR!" She lift her opponent up in the air and punched him. Jann recovered as Yang went towards him, ready to knock him out. He hold Yang's rush attack, let out a scream and kicked her to the sides to stagger her. He then grabbed Yang's neck and twisted it. Making the huntress winced in pain.
"LEIFANG!"
Ren performed an upper palm strike to his opponent's chin. Hitting and juggling him with kicks, arm strikes. Just as he was ready to finish it off, he dropped the combo. Jann Lee then recovered from the juggle to make a comeback attack. Leifang took his place.
"Yo Ren!" Ren heard the warning his friend made and quickly grabbed his opponent's arm and threw him down.
"GUUUUH!" He grunted, holding her stomach in a staggered state. Ren punched her 4 times, grabbed and threw her behind, eventually leading Yang taking Ren's place to perform a face crusher move on Leifang.
"BOOM! How's that?" She taunted. Yang charged and threw a strong punch. Leifang holded her attack and flipped her behind where she was facing.
"TABLE FOR... TWO!" She grabbed her opponent once more like she did with Jann Lee and punched her in the back. Ren quickly tagged in, juggled her and ended the combo with a swift kick. Leifang quickly tagged in with her partner before she could be knocked out. He screamed as he attacked the hunter with an onslaught of attacks before pausing a bit. Knowing this was a brief period in time where he can strike, Ren punched until...
"Yo Ren!" Ren heard the warning his friend made and quickly grabbed his opponent's arm and performed a judo throw.

"Phew..." Ren let out a sigh of relief knowing it was over for a bit.

"Well I'll be! This guy got some potential!" Joe said.
"Oh absolutely! Same for blondie too."
"Good Round." The hunter said.
Outside of Casino Night Zone- The rebuilding of the Death Egg
"Everybody ready?" The Radio said.
"Yes Boss!"
"Good..." Roman stood in the heights of the Death Egg's constrution. He would put his walkie talkie away and prepared his hat. "Let's give these folks one hell of a show!" He said as he hopped on to his own custom made EggMobile the doctor made for him.
Casino Night Zone - Outside of the Dreamarena
Yang and Ren were fighting against Leifang and Jann Lee once again. The crowd were cheering on which fighter was gonna win to the next match. The goons arrived...
"As soon as the fight is finished, I'll give the go ahead... Ready..."
Inside the Dreamarena
Yang punched Leifang in the face before shoulder tackling her.
Outside- 5 opponents out
"On my mark..."
The Semi finals- Sonic and Ren
"Holy mother of Itagaki folks... I know it felt like a year but here we go! We're almost at the finale! Which opponent is it gonna be?" The opponent revealed himself. He appeared to be Japanese and wore a wearing a black suit and white shirt, with a pair of rectangular sunglasses. His hair was black and was without a partner.
The Dragon o- The Man who erased his Name - Joryu
"Hey... This man looks familiar..." Sonic said as he squints to take a closer look at the man.
"What do you mean?"
"Kiryu Kazuma. He used to be part of AGES but sadly passed to protect his family." Sonic told to his friend.
"Mr. Needlemouse... It's an honor to fight against you."
"Thanks. The same goes to you but we need that prize money."
"Are you sure you want to take both of us down?" Ren asked.
"Hmm. I'm capable to take both of you down." He got into a fighting stance. The teen and hedgehog got followed suit.
"LET THE SEMI FINAL BATTLE BEGIN! ROUND 1! FIGHT!"
Soundtrack play: Yakuza 0 - Force Addiction
Sonic charged towards him. Joryu punched him squarely and did a snapback move. Ren quickly took place. The hunter blocked the man's attacks before holding one and throwing him to the floor. He juggled him and called Sonic in for assistance.
"Yowch! Man, you're tough." Sonic did a roundhouse kick. The japanese man grabbed his leg and threw him like if he was rag doll. "OOOF! YO REN!" The hunter took his place as his opponent was attacking him in rapid speeds. He blocked his attacks until...
BAM!
STRUCK!
He hit him with a powerful right hook.
"COME ON REN! BREAK HIS LEGS!" Nora gave him encouragement which riled up the audience more. The hunter stood up and rushed towards Joryu.
"THRUSTING!" He struck Joryu with his palm strike to stagger him. "STRIKE!" He did it again to knock him away. "Hey Sonic!"
"On my way!" He jumped in. Taking the hunters place. He grabbed his opponent and spindashed his back.
"AGH! You seem tough Hedgehog." He grabbed from behind and pile drived him to the floor. He stomped him in the stomach before the hedgehog moved out and hit him with a recovery kick and took some steps backs. Joryu would proceed to perform a drop kick him.
"UGH!" Sonic was defeated.
"AND HE'S OUT! I wonder how this Ren guy will take on Joryu." The two slowly circled around each other to see who would hit first.
Outside
"Get set..."
"I'm impressed you managed to get this far. However, I don't think I'll allow a punk like you to win this."
"Bet." Ren would then stirke Joryu with a flurry of attacks. The Japanese man would hold his attacks and throw him across the arena. The two fiercly looked at each other before charging in.
Soundtrack Ended
The windows from above broke. The men charged in with guns with Eggman's robots and everyone was panicking. They tried to escape but they were surrounded and were held at gun point. The contestants and the people who were cheering were now in fear.
"OH GOD! SORRY FOLKS BUT WE GOT A BIT OF A SITUATION HERE!" The announcers would leave to find safety.
"Crap... Listen Kid. We need to get to somewhere safe." The Japanese man said as the two headed out. Sonic followed suit before their friends, a good few survivors enjoying Casino Night Zone and the Dead or Alive contestants ran to the nearest safe room they can find.
"Eggman, Sir. Casino Night Zone has been secured. Please let Roman know about this so he can pick up the Chaos Emerald here.
Those watching the Dead or Alive tournament from Home. Specifically those around West Side Island - Emerald Hill and Chemcial Plant...
Their friends stood there silently as they witnessed the chaos that had unfolded on TV.

As Eggman and Roman's goons have taken over Casino Night Zone, the dangers of rescuing their friends increases. Will our heroes manage to save the civilians and get out on time or will this escape will be a gamble? Next time... Casino Night Zone 3: Casino Beatdown...
Dude... It's been a year since i last uploaded the last chapter... Since then, I've missed out so much of how much stuff that has happened between the last chapter and this one. Originally, i wanted go further with this. Because of my lazy butt, i have fallen extremely way behind. Especially with the release of both Sonic x Shadow Generations and the upcoming Sonic 3 movie. There were plans to have Shadow related content to help celebrate his year but again. That's no longer possible. I'll do my best to try and make some story chapter that ties in with Sonic Movie 3.
Please don't feel bad for me. This is a fault I'd rather take and accept than leaving things behind. It hurts. I hate to admit it but that's unfortunately the truth. Within that span of a year, however, I managed to do many things such as going to Canada, collaborating with NantheKeyblademaster for the RWBY adaptation of Sonic Frontiers (A dream come true), watching and becoming a fan of Symphogear and many many more.
I'm on the verge of having a panic attack and i think what's happening right now here in America might influence the direction of RWBY The Hedgehog after i finished adaptating this and 3 and Knuckles along with Sonic Movie 2. Please look and do anything to help comfort your friends during these dark times. I know this is out of left field for me saying this and i am gonna get butt chewed out on this but please. Don't be afraid to reach them out. I'm kinda scared really for the future but i know i gotta push forward. See you then if the next chapter doesn't take 5 years to make.
