The news that Corvus Potter was a Parselmouth spread across the school very quickly. People were now whispering that she was the Heir of Slytherin..

Corvie filed into her Potions class to find the Gryffindors all glaring at her.
"What?" she snapped. "What's wrong with me? Do I have something on my face, or is it just because I'm oh-so pretty?"
Neville snickered. Harry flushed angrily. "Shut up, Neville, you're–!"
"Ah-ah-ah," Corvie said, waving a finger in her brother's face. "No insulting my friends. You leave my friends alone, and i'll leave yours alone. Hopefully."
Corvie turned to sit back down, and a jinx hit her square in the back. She heard the Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs laughing uncontrollably as antlers sprouted out of the top of her head. Corvie ground her teeth in anger, then wheeled around.
Finnegan and Weasley were high-fiving each other; Harry smirked, and Parvati was looking at the boys with faint admiration. Corvie slowly withdrew her wand from its place in her pocket.
"Ingorgare i denti!" she hissed.
Immediately, the jet of blue light struck Weasley in the face, and his teeth began to grow longer and longer, reaching down past his collar and scraping against his chest.
Weasley shrieked in terror. Snape strode into the room, cast a single look at Weasley, and said, "Patil, Potter, take him to the hospital wing."
Parvati and Harry cast Corvie equally angry looks, and they then herded their friend out of the room.

Corvie stood by her broomstick, ready to play.
As the Ravenclaws marched out to play against the Hufflepuffs, a shrill shout came. "Potter!" shouted Professor McGonagall. "You must all return to your common rooms at once!"
Roger, Cho, Corvie, and the rest of the team exchanged worried looks. "What?" Roger asked, frowning. "Quidditch hasbeen canceled," said McGonagall.
"But you can't cancel Quidditch!" roared Roger indignantly.
"Potter, I would like you to come with me," said McGonagall.
Corvie shrugged apologetically at Cho and Roger, and then hurried towards the exit.
Corvie stared at the immobile bodies of Dean, Lavender, and Hermione. "They were found in the library," said Pomfrey sadly. "Another attack—and this one on a trio of students."
Corvie sat in the common room, stewing angrily. Padma, Su Li, and Lisa were all around her. Leo and Lucas were conversing silently in the left-hand corner of the room.
"Has anyone else noticed that Slytherin's the only House that's safe?" Terry said loudly suddenly. Michael, Edgecombe, and several other students who were blatant Harry Potter Supporters stood up, too. "The Heir of Slytherin, the Monster of Slytherin–why don't they chuck the whole lot out?"
The other Ravenclaws either ignored him or glared at him. "In case you forgot, Michael," Corvie said, standing up, "the Slytherins are our only allies against the Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors. Just because you've decided to suck up to Harry Potter doesn't mean that the rest of us are going to. Now, sit down. You're trying to look impressive, but you just look like a dwarf with overinflated ego issues."
The Ravenclaws all sniggered. Michael went red and lowered himself into his seat.

Corvie strode towards the forest. Su Li, Padma, and Lisa were also with her. "They said they'd be going to Hagrid's," Neville said, struggling to keep up. "You know, you don't have to come with us, Nev," Corvie said. Neville shook his head. "If the SLytherins and Justin aren't able to come, then it'd better be me."
Corvie nodded.
Suddenly, Ron and Harry burst out from the door.
"What are you doing here?" Ronald asked, struggling to keep Fang back.
"Same thing as you," Corvie said. "Seeing Hagrid."
"The MInster's just taken him to Azkaban," snapped Ronald.

After that, the year flew by quickly. Corvie proved herself to the Horcrux of Tom Riddle as the real Heir of Slytherin, and the Chamber of Secrets was sealed once more.

The people who had been Petrified were restored back to their normal lives.
