Tails opened his eyes to be greeted by an unfamiliar face, it was a blue fox with six tails in grey purplish armor of some form
"My lord, are you alright?"
"Yes... wait, who are you?"
"Oh, i am Kitsunami, but you can call me Kit"
Tails grabbed his hand and Kit lifted him up
"So who are you exactly, and where are my friends?"
"They are safe don't worry, this is a safe haven after all"
"And would you happen to know me? You called me lord earlier"
"Of course! Your the captain of the First company of the nine tailed!" Tails was shocked when he heard this, he was a captain of another marine squad
"The nine tailed?"
"You don't know them? Oh and let's get rid of that blue armor and put you into something more powerful, a personal kitsunian armor for our beloved Malex Prawix"
"Wait, how do you know my name?" Tails asked
"Everyone here knows you, your the one who took out the lord of change and Imurah on Demerium!" he lead Tails to another room, this one had the armor set and he also spotted unfamiliar gene seeds
"You have the golden gene seed right?"
"Yes?"
"Good! Now let's override your current gene seed with out own"
"Hold on! This is going to fast! Who are the nine tailed?! Why am i the captain of this company?! And where are we?!"
"Alright calm down, first, we are the nine tailed, a hidden chapter of the space marines, the the last 9000 years, we have protected the Kitsune from xenos and the denizens of the warp"
"Next, your a captain because it's the order of your uncle, Merlius Prawix, the chapter master" Tails couldn't believe what he just heard as he went wide eyed, his uncle was alive, and might be the last family member there is
"Last, we are in a safe haven on Avarax, the ultramarines or the chaos can't find us here, but please, let us bestow you, my lord, with our gifts"
Tails now knew what he was in for, a new chapter of marines he would serve, as the captain of the 1st company, which he didn't know the name of
"What's our company's name?" Tails asked
"Oh? It's called the sons of Malice"
"Okay, but lets get started with integrating the gene seeds right?"
"Your quite eager aren't you my Nephew?" Said a voice behind, Tails turned around and saw his uncle for the first time in many, many years
He was clad in decorated space marine armor, some tears where coming from his and Tails eyes and then Tails spoke "Uncle..."
"We can save the reunion for later, right now we need to get you prepared for the upcoming fight against Robotnik"
"Right..."
He then started by casting aside his blue armor piece, since he was no longer a Ultramarine, after that was done, he got into the machine
"Who are your people?"
"My people are the Kitsune"
The cables then carrying the gene seed of Malice then appeared, injecting him with the gods power
"Who is your god?"
"My god is Malice"
He felt his organs reforming, being rebuilt for the warp, he felt the energies of the Empyrean coursing through his veins
"What is your power?"
"My power is of the warp"
He was then being armored with the Kitsunian Grey Purplish space marine armor, he felt it empowering him, making him stronger, more resilient, faster than he ever was with the Ultramarines
"What is your fate?"
"My fate... is to strike down evil"
Then the process was complete, and he felt brand new strength and power he had never felt before
"My nephew, how you have grown" Tails then got off the machine and rushed and hugged his uncle, with tears coming from his eyes
There was silence between the two, until Tails let go and spoke "It's been to long since i've meet anyone from my family"
"I see, we can talk more later but now we have to introduce you to the other kitsune"
He then followed Merlius out of the room, and then suddenly encountered a Red female fox with four tails, wearing a different type of armor
"Well, Well, well, if it isn't the yellow warrior who struck down Imurah" said the red fox
"Excuse but who are you exactly?"
"Ah, i forgot, I am Fionaria, a member of the Warrior Sisters, we work with the Marines during operations, anyways your quite... famous here for taking down that fool Imurah"
"I see, well anyways i have to go meet the others now"
"See you later" the female fox said as she slicked away
"Who was that?"
"Fionaria, she is of the Warrior Sisters, our own sisters of battle"
"Oh i forgot to ask, where are my friends?"
"The plant girl is sleeping in a private room, Cream is joining the warrior sisters and Blaze is speaking with the Nekomata"
"Okay then" He said as they continued down the hall and eventually reached the strategium
The Kitsune inside saw him, and they where shocked to see a legend amongst them
They looked at Tails as him and Merlius passed by, curious to know what the hero who slew Imurah was doing here
They eventually got to the center of the room where Merlius then suddenly held up Tails's arm
"This is the hero who slew the tainted sorcerer Imurah! For he shall lead us as the captain of the 1st company! He shall lead us into victory!" And then Tails said, having figured out what to say
"FOR MALICE AND THE EMPEROR!"
"FOR MALICE AND THE EMPEROR!" They all said in the room, celebrating the arrival of their new captain
"Listen up everyone! The foul blood iron doctor has set up a Iron fortress over Avarax, for we shall strike down the daemon! My nephew here, Malex, shall lead us into battle with the wrath of the sons of Malice!" They then got ready for battle, but Tails then spoke to his uncle once again
"Is there anyone i should know?"
"You already know Kit and Fionaria, but there are a few known ones around here"
"Okay but can i go see Cosmo? I need to talk to her"
"Alright, i will lead you to her" he said as he lead Tails to Cosmo, whom he needed to explain some things to"
Tails was now at Cosmo's room, she was sleeping beautifully, like she always was
"Cosmo wake up"
"T-Tails...?"
"I need to talk to you before i go into battle"
She got up slowly, and then she spoke "Tails, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?"
"There are some things i have to explain, first, we are in the 42nd millennium, mankind has expanded to the stars and has become an Imperium, but we are surrounded by hostile aliens and from the inside, we have to deal with Heretics and Daemons of the chaos gods"
She went wide eyed, she couldn't believe she was in the far future, but she fully didn't understand
"Why can't we just make peace with the aliens then?"
"We can't, they want to hurt us, the Tyranids for example just want to devour us"
"I... but what about those heretics! Are they really bad people?"
"Unfortunately it's true, there are bad people, they just want to hurt us, there are cults, daemons and heretic Space marines, all they do is cause destruction all over the galaxy for their so called chaos gods, deities of immense power which originate from the immaterium, which is a dark version of our reality"
"I... i need time to take this information in, oh are there any books i can read about this?"
"Just use this terminal here" he then showed how to operate it
"It should give you a clearer view over things, but i have to go now" he said as he got up
"See you later Cosmo" he said as he left the room
Cosmo needed some time alone, to take in all this information and learn more about this Imperium
Tails got ready to go through the Torii gate, which was going to take them to Avarax, now infested with Chaos daemons and worshippers of Khorne
"Terminator Alexrixius, reporting for duty" said a voice behind tails, he turned around and it was a kitsune in terminator armor
"I shall be honored to fight alongside you, Lord Malex" Alexrixius said
Tails readied his volkite Caliver and his warp imbued bolter, Alex readied his multi melta and mounted Rocket launcher of some form, and then Kit came with his Plasma incinerator and melta gun
"Don't worry, he looks scary but he has a heart of gold when it comes to his squadmates, but he's a terror to the heretics" Kit said, only for Alex to overhear it "Indeed, i can't wait to crush this chaos filth beneath my boot" Alex said awaiting to go into the Torii gate
They then got the order to deploy, and so they went into the Torii gate and onto Avarax once again
They arrived at Avarax, to find it infested with Daemons of Khorne, there was blood all over the place, showing the taint of the chaos god
"KILL, MAIM, BURN!" Screamed a cultist, cutting apart a dead astra militarium soldier, only to be shot by Tails using his bolter
"These filth dare desecrate this world!" Alex said with some rage, he felt ready to crush the heretics
"they shall regret that soon" Tails said, then he gave the order "For the god kitsune and the emperor!" He said loudly as they charged into battle
Alex fired his rocket launcher into a horde of Cultists and bloodletters, killing them and then fired his multi melta into a group of flesh hounds charging at him, incinerating them as they died in pain and where sent back to the warp
Kit fired his plasma gun at a berzerker, only to enrage it, he then pulled out his melta gun to knockback the daemonic space marine, and then used his chainsword to cut it's arm and head off
Tails fired his boltgun at a herald which tried to overpower him, eventually killing it, then he saw a bloodcrusher and a juggernaut trying to overwhelm Alex, who was holding it back with his claws, he fired at the juggernaut to get it's attention, then the bloodcrusher ordered it to charge at Tails, but tails flew over it and jumped and split the bloodcrusher in half with his chainsword
Alex then thrusted his claws into the beast, cutting it open and dealt the final blow, killing the beast
"Good teamwork" Alex said
"Indeed-" he was then cut off by a vox message coming from someone he didn't want to hear right now, Acheran
"Tails! I order you to stand down!"
"I don't take orders from your chapter anymore, i have a new chapter i work for"
"What! How dare you cast aside-" T-skull then jammed acheran's signal to silence his babbling
"Thank you for silencing him T-skull"
"Your welcome master Malex" he was then frightened when he saw Alex in that terminator armor
"This your friend?"
"Yes, he's what the imperium calls an abomiable intelligence"
"I see, we need to get back into the battle"
He then spotted a drop pod, and out of it came marines he didn't recognize, but he recogizrd the symbol on it, Dr robotnik
"Are those... Iron warriors?!" Kit said, having never faced them before
"Burn the traitors!" Alex said as they went into battle with the cyborg iron warriors
The Iron warriors fired with their weapons upon the kitsunes, but tails got close to one and then used his chainsword to fight the iron warrior, he managed to parry it's attack, giving him an opening, then he thrusted his chainsword into it and cut the traitor apart, killing it
Alex then went into a battle with a chaos terminator, he slashed with his thunder claws at i, dealing some hits, but he was pushed back by it's weapon of some form, but then he fired his rocket launcher, and landed a hit that reduced the termiantor to gore and metal
Kit ran as he fired his Plasma gun at the iron warrior, which then charged at him, he desperately tried to hold it back with his chainsword but then Alex came and used his thunder claws to impale and split the iron warrior in half
T-skull was being chased by an Iron warrior who came out of another pod, but tails then rushed and slammed his chainsword into the ground, unleashing chaos energies that cracked the ground and stunned the iron warrior, then he ran and beheaded the warrior with his Chainsword
"That was just the beginning, there are probably more coming"
"Agreed, we should board that malignent fortress and fight them there!" Alex said, pointing at the iron fortress in the sky
"How do we get up there- oh wait, we can fly of course, Tails said and spun his tails
"It's to high up, i doubt we are going to make it past the defences, but we could use a Torii gate and bypass it's defences" Kit said
"Alright, i will teleport us onboard" Tails said as he focused his warp powers to open a Torii gate, and it worked, it appeared out of the ground and so they went in, and onto the forsaken Iron Fortress of Robotnik
There was still a long way to go
