"Now, careful around my mom, she's-"

"Not a problem." Batman said.

"I know she might not seem like a problem but-"

"Amity, I've faced worse people than her. Don't worry about it." Batman said as the manor came into sight.

The door opened and an angry woman walked out.

"Is that your mother?" Batman asked.

"Yep, that's her." Amity said.

"Amity Blight! What do you think you're doing with-"

Batman walked up to her and glared at her. Odalia instantly felt fear towards him.

"One more word... and I knock your teeth out." Batman said.

"W-W-What?! You wouldn't hit a woman, would you?" Odalia asked, taking a step back in fear.

"You'd think that but the hammer of justice is unisex." Batman said with a sharp glare, "Now move."

Odalia moved away immediately with her hands up, learning Batman, King, Amity, and Luz enter the manor.

'I have so many questions but I'm too scared to ask.' Odalia thought.

"Lay her down on the couch, find someone that can help heal her." Batman said.

"King, go find my sister! Emira knowing healing magic!" Amity said as she took Luz from Batman.

"On it!" King said as he rushed up to the second floor of the manor.

Amity set Luz on the couch as Batman went to secure the perimeter of the house, leaving them as Odalia watched him leave.

"Don't die, Luz, please don't die." Amity said.

Luz groaned a bit to show she was alive but the damage from Darkseid's omega beams was worse than she thought. She was still recovering from what Belos did to her, she still had some kryptonite stuck in her and magic weakening her. Her powers were still weakened.

"Hmm, you seem to be quiet worried for this "super human."" Odalia said.

"What's it matter to you?" Amity asked, glaring at her mother.

"Just curious."

"Yeah, well now you're not. So, leave us alone." Amity said, pointing out of the room.

"Why should I?" Odalia asked her daughter. "Even with your scary friend, this is still my house."

"Fine, then stay out of the way while I help her." Amity said.

Nodding to her daughter, Odalia decided to just step back and sit in a chair to watch before her other daughter came in with King on her shoulder.

"I got your sister!" King said.

"I heard someone is injured." Emira said, seeing Luz and moving Amity over a bit, "What happened."

"Heal first, questions later!" Amity said to Emira.

Emira looked at Luz and began to perform spells to heal her.

"How long do you think this will take?" King asked.

"Well, I don't know the full extent, so it might take some time." Emira admitted.

"Cut that in half." Batman said, shocking everyone into a fright with how he just appeared!

"Seriously, how do you do that?!" King asked in shock!

Batman ignored his question.

"We have trouble coming." Batman said.

"What? Already?! " Amity asked in shock and worry.

"What trouble are you talking about?" Odalia asked.

The door was covered in a red glow and thrown off the hinges, revealing Emperor Belos.

"Knock knock." Belos said, his eyes glowing and his clothes scuffed and ripped.

The Clawthorne sisters may have lost but they put up a good fight to slow Belos down.

"The emperor!?" Odalia shouted in shock as Batman threw batarangs at him!

Belos put a shield in front of him and blocked them.

"Your little parlor tricks won't do anything to stop me... Mr. Wayne." Belos said.

Batman glared harder at Belos, his identity revealed, but that didn't matter right now.

"You haven't seen anything yet." Batman said, pulling out bladed brass knuckles with tasers at the end. "Amity, King."

"I know." Amity said, using abomination to make a servant to carry Luz. "Em, follow!"

They left as Batman charged at Belos. Odalia was looking between the fight with Belos and her retreating children before deciding the best course of action.

"Wait for me!" Odalia shouted as she ran off after her children.

The kids exited out the back door and laid Luz on the ground.

"She's the only one that could fight him." Amity said, "We need Luz to get better!"

"I get that and I'm healing as fast as I can!" Emira said as she went back to healing Luz.

"Please hurry!" King said to her.

"Don't rush me!" Emira said.

"Can someone please explain FULLY what is going on?!" Odalia asked, running up to the group.

"Well, Belos is evil." Amity said, "So honestly, you two probably get along greatly, and he is going to try and destroy the world."

"What!?" Odalia and Emira said in shock!

"You heard me." Amity said, "Luz is the only one that can help."

"Oh, I don't think so." A voice said.

Amity looked up and saw Darksied, holding a defeated Superman by his cape.

"If her father could not fair well, then how could she?" Darkseid asked, throwing Superman to the ground.

"Now, if you don't mind." Darksieds eyes began glowing, "Back away from the kryptonian."

Amity stood up and got in front of Luz.

"Never." Amity said, summoning two abominations before her.

"Hmph. I admire your resolve but do you honestly think you can stand to me, child?" Darkseid asked, unintimidated as his eyes glowed red.

He was about to fire at Amity, when Superman spoke.

"Stop... leave them alone... and you can use me for whatever you have planned."

"You still breathe? You truly are strong but I do not need you." Darkseid said, looking to him. "Your daughter is young, has more potential than you. She will be more useful to me as the leader of my new generation of Furies.

"A fury?" Odalia asked in slight fear, worried about what exactly a "fury" is.

'If they are more children like that girl, then it could be the end of the Boiling Isles!' Odalai thought!

"I... Won't let you... hurt her." Superman said.

Superman tried to get up but he was still too from the battle in space with Darkseid.

"You don't have a choice." Darkseid said, gazing towards Emira and seeing her still healing Luz.

"I recommend getting away." He warned.

Emira shook in fear of his gaze, feeling the need to run from here but she couldn't abandon her little sister, her mother, and her friend to save herself!

"N-N-N-No! I won't!" Emira said with a stutter, showing her resolve yet also her fear.

"Then have it your way." Darksied said.

He was about to fire his Omega beam... when he was hit in the head by a mace.

"Stay down." Hawkgirl said.

"Grrr!" Darkseid groaned, holding his head as he found something covering the sun a bit.

Looking up, he saw that Justice League ship and the founding members jumping/flying down to them.

"I knew you couldn't face me without help." Darksied said.

"And what's wrong with that?" Green Lantern said as he pointed his ring at Darkseid, floating down in front of Superman.

"That's just means more people to kick your gray butt." Flash said as he landed in front of Amity.

"Now give up, and we'll go easy on you." Wonder Woman said.

Amity felt a large wave of relief as the Justice League Luz told her about surrounded her, her family, Luz, and Superman.

'Oh thank Titan!' Amity thought.

Darksied looked around and smirked.

"Adorable." He said.

He fired an omega beam, but Flash managed to get everyone out of the way.

'Right, fastest human alive.' He thought, annoyed.

Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl charged him, using their strength/mace to knock him away from them.

"Ugh!" Darkseid let out as he was pushed back.

Phasing from the ground behind him, Martian Manhunter grabbed Darkseid from behind and transformed into a large snake to try to crush him! He was blasted off by Belos.

"Aaaah!" He let out.

"Remove yourself from my friend." Belos said, floating down to the group.

'Batman must've been beaten, shoot!' Amity thought as King shook in fear.

"Great, who's this?" Green Lantern asked.

"Another enemy! And his staff is powered by kryptonite!" Amity quickly said to them.

"I advise you to leave the Kryptonian alone, Miss Blight." Belos said, pointing his staff at Amity, "Otherwise... you die."

Amity saw his eyes glaring at her, making her shake in fear but she refused to move.

'I don't know if it's fear or bravery keeping me here anymore but-' Amity thought before someone stood in front of her. 'Huh?'

"D-Do not threaten my daughter!" Odalia said, afraid but not running as she held her necklace to summon a large spirit.

"Fine... then you can die in her place." Belos said.

Belos charged up a magic blast as Odalia sent the spirit at him, not going down without a fight. The two combined and made a shockwave.

'Hmm, she's more powerful than I thought.' Belos thought with a raised brow under his mask. 'And here I thought she was just a spineless businesswoman. But she's just another stepping stone to my end goal.'

Belos fired another spell at Odalia, making her grab Amity and move to protect her until Green Lantern made a shield! This gave a distraction for Wonder Woman to run at Belos and deliver a powerful hit.

"HA!" Wonder Woman shouted, striking him in the chest!

"Guh!" Belos let out, coughing up blood in his mask!

"Flash, get them out of here." Wonder Woman said, motioning to Luz, Amity, and the other two.

"Got it!" Flash said as he rushed to the others!

"I think not!" Darkseid said as he fired his omega beams at Flash, making them following him!

"Not gonna catch me!" Flash shouted as he continued running, grabbing Luz and the Blights before running towards Blight Manor! The omega beams followed him, as he ran as fast as he could.

'I always forget how persistent these things are!' Flash thought, holding Luz and Amity under his right arm while Emira and Odalia were under his left arm.

"Hate to ask but can one of you deal with those beam?" Flash asked them.

"Oh! Sure!" Odalia said, quickly summoning another spirit, "Here's hoping this will work!"

The spirit flew at the beams and punched them, holding them back enough for Flash to get a wider lead!

"Okay, I'm going to set you down, get as far away from here as you can." Flash said.

"Wait, what about-" Emira was cut off as they got to Blight Manor.

They were blitzed into the living room as Flash rushed off with the omega beam, having destroyed the spirit, following after him!

"It's not safe here." Amity said.

"Then where do we go?" Emira asked, still healing Luz with her magic.

"I think we can help."

Turning to the voice, the Blight women saw that Batman was being supported by Lilith and Eda. All of them injured from their fights with Belos but still standing.

"You will be led by the Clawthorne's away from here, I have to go help the rest of the Justice League." Batman said.

"Really? But you're still injuries." Odalia said to him.

"I've had worse injuries." Batman said, moving away from the Clawthornes.

"Seriously, for a guy with underwear outside his pants, he's incredibly stubborn." Eda said with a flat tone.

"I have to agree. It's suicide." Lilith said to him.

"That's…just how he is." Luz said, finally regaining consciousness, "Oh, I hate omega beams."

"Luz!" Everyone but Odalia, Emira, and Batman said in glee!

King and Amity even rushed to hug her gently so they wouldn't hurt her.

"We were so worried!" Amity said

"Hey, don't worry about me... my skin is near impervious." Luz said.

"That doesn't prevent internal damage." Batman said, walking up to Luz. "You could still have been damaged inside of your body. You need more sun energy."

"I know but I can't if Darkseid and Belos are on my ass." Luz said, moving to sit up as Amity still hugged her. "It's not like I can actually drink energy from the sun like a smoothie."

"Then stay away from battle and we'll handle this." Batman said, "Get her out of here."

"I can still fight." Luz said as Amity pulled away.

"Not without at least a few healing patches on you." Emira said as she stopped healing Luz.

"Luz... this is an order." Batman said, "He needs you for his plan, so if you aren't there, then he can't win."

"But where could we go? He's been to the house and knows Amity is her friend." King said in worry.

"We can go to Hexside. I've heard rumors there's a secret tunnel system within the school." Amity suggested.

"Nope, that's true. We used it all the time." Eda said with a tiny, proud smile.

"Took forever to make." Lilith said.

"Then go and hide with her there." Batman said before gazing at the Blights. "You three as well since the Emperor is still after you."

"Thank goodness Alador is out of town then with Edric." Odalia mumbled.

"Yeah, he's going to be angry when he sees what happened to the house."

"We've wasted enough time. We need to hurry and get where we need to be." Batman said, standing straight up.

"You're still in no condition to fight. At least not without something to help." Emira said to him before Odalia snapped her fingers.

"I think we still have some healing glyphs in the first aid kit. Those could help him at least move better." She said.

"Great." Emira said, "I'll go get it!"

"Where's dad?" Luz asked, looking around for Superman.

"Back with the others. Flash couldn't carry all of us." Amity said to her.

"I... I have to go back." Luz said, "I won't leave dad."

"I'm afraid you won't be able to make that choice." Batman said.

To prove his point, Batman took out a smoke pellet with small amounts of kryptonite and threw it at Luz. She coughed profusely as she felt the world getting dark again.

"Uncle….you di-" Luz passed out in Amity's arms as Odalia and Emira returned.

"Get her out of here." Batman said, running to meet up with the rest of the league.

"Wait! Geez!" Emira shouted, quickly using a spell to put three healing patches on Batman's body. "At least take this to hold you move!"

"Thanks!" Batman said, jumping out a window and using his grappling hook to rush off.

"Geez, that's guy is restless." Eda said before Emira and Odalia placed one patch in her and Lilith respectively, "Come on, let's get out of here."

With Amity placing Luz on her back and Emira putting some healing patches in her arms and lower back, the group left Blight Manor and rushed off to Hexside as fast as they could go.
