"Hrmmmm, geez. This drawing stuff is really hard when it comes to sketching other people." Hado pouted as she erased a drawing mistake for the 41st time in the past hour. Safe to say her eraser spent more time against the paper in Midoriya's notebook than the lead portion of her pencil did, and what sort of progress did the third year manage to put out thus far? Nothing, aside from the bottom of a right foot that looked like a giant spoon. "Can't even get the foot right."
"Senpai, I think it might be better if you just start with the face for right now." Midoroya suggested. "You could worry about drawing the body later the face is a better place to begin with. Here can I see?"
The third year slid Midoriya's notebook and pencil back over to him, the first year flipping to a fresh page and twisting the notebook to run sideways. "Okay, I know I already have an entry for you but I'll show you how to start off with a face. To me? The easiest place is the chin, so I start with a simple little line about an inch long, because that can connect with the cheeks and then the sides of the head. Here."
Midoriya etched a simple inch long line just as he said, then drawing two longer lines on the edges of the first that angled upwards to represent the cheeks. And at the end of those two lines came two more than angled straight up, smaller than the previous two much like the very first. "See? And from here I have an easy and simple base to do the rest of your face. Yesterday, I said you were relatively easy to draw and I-I still stand by it honestly. Mainly because of two things, your hair and your eyes. You have big bright eyes so they take up a good amount of space, and your hair is easy to do so long as the direction of your bangs are remembered. Your left bang goes behind your left ear, but your right bang comes out to the front of your face. Then from there is the long hair that curls at the bottom.
Now since your right ear is kinda obscured by your bang I can forego the need to draw that ear, which is nice because ears can be a little annoying to draw sometimes. So as long as I remember those, the rest comes easily."
"Ohhhhh." Hado beamed as she watched Midoriya begin sketching out her face with the eyes as a starting point. "Wow! Is my face really that memorable?"
"U-Uh, depends on how that question is received heh. Some people think a memorable face means unique or a distinct facial feature like a scar or beautiful colored eyes. Others remember a face for...personal, reasons."
"Hey hey you're gonna come to candy day with us on Friday right?"
"Would the others be okay with that Senpai? I-I wouldn't want to go with and make it feel weird that a first year is mixed in with the rest of you."
"Heyyyy don't worry! They'll be totally okay with it you already know Mirio and Tamaki, and Yuyu's super friendly even though she could seem a little mean at times. You got nothing to worry about, pinky promise."
Midoriya smirked as his pencil lightly grazed against the paper in repetitive strokes to form the big beady pupil of her left eye. "Alright then, if I'm not occupied by anything else sure. I'll go again."
Without the assistance of any reference photo Midoriya made easy work in sketching the top of Hado's hair, ensuring that the small clump at the top of her forehead didn't dip too much into her face. Was it weird for him to be able to sketch her face without a reference? Maybe, depending on how one viewed his interest for the third year. Some may think of it as the type of weird that would hover a little bit too much around the field of stalking or a 'Yandere' attraction. But for him it was as simple as saying that Hado was so often in the eye of his mind that he didn't need to look elsewhere to draw her face. It was corny to think about but if he had a yen for every time she was on his mind he'd only have one, given that she never left it.
If anything else he actually enjoyed drawing her face, it was simple and cute. Her curious large eyes seemed to pop into life despite being a simple drawing on a sheet of paper. He figured it really went to show how lively and animate of a person Hado was. And to his surprise he was finding this little interaction between the two of them to be more pleasant than he thought. Strangely he's realized that he feels calm, almost comfortable with her presence beside him, safe even? Perhaps safe was a little too much of a stretch but he didn't feel that tendency to tuck his tail between his legs and scamper off to spare himself the embarrassment. So what changed?
Was it her? Or did he simply accept the fact that he wouldn't have to change at all for her? He didn't know but he certainly wasn't going to complain.

"Hmmm..."
From his left came the soft noise of Hado sighing, Midoriya glancing to the side and seeing the third year squishing her left cheek over the nest of her forearms with slightly closed eyelids. "Hado-senpai, you're not falling asleep are you?"
"Mmno, I just like the sound you're making right now." Hado sighed comfortably. "The pencil across the paper, it's oddly comforting to hear it when everything around you is so quiet. It's why I like the library a lot."
"Oh. Makes sense."
"Do you have anything that's oddly comforting to you?"
"Um, not that I can think of off the top of my head. When I was younger and I needed some sort of comfort in my life, I'd rewatch All Might videos even the ones I've watched over ten times already. I guess that would be an odd comfort for me."
"Do you have any other heroes you like besides All Might?"
"Not really, not saying all the other heroes are bad or anything but my whole life I've always looked up to All Might, so I never had a chance to branch out much and look up to other heroes the way I did with him. And you?"
"I loooove Ryukyu." Hado chuckled as she watched the pencil tip curve into her face, the early signs of her right bang etching on the paper. "I think she's really awesome, and cute too I think Ryukyu's cute."
"Y-Yeah." Midoriya agreed, emphasizing slightly darker lines into Hado's right bang. "She's good looking I'll give her that. It's the short hair for me."
"Who do you think you're gonna work under once the Work Studies come back? Any names you wanna work with?"
"Not really, I don't know when they'll bring back Work Studies so I don't think about them much. I just think about what comes and when it comes."
"Yeahhhh, true to that. But you know, I think after the recent operation with Eri you have a much better chance of bigger heroes scouting you to work with them than you did before. No doubt all the big hero names saw what you did against Overhaul, I'm sure you'll get an offer sooner than later. You're definitely a lot more improved with your Quirk than you were earlier in the year. Hey hey random question, do you sometimes feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders?"
Midoriya's pencil stopped in it's scribbling, eyes widening a bit at the sudden turn of the mood. "That came out of nowhere."
"Sorry, intrusive question that made it out here." Hado chuckled cutely, her cheeks puffing like she was a gerbil or hamster. "Cause I won't lie sometimes when I'm out there, it does feel like my shoulders are heavy from something I can't explain it. Just wondering if you've ever felt that."
"I um, I-I have but, not when I'm doing any sort of hero work. I have those...days."
"How so?"
"Just...You know, stuff, getting to me and all that. I wouldn't say I'm depressed or anything like that but, I do have days where I wake up and wonder if anything would change if I decided to get out of bed. I guess it wouldn't really be a weight on my shoulders but rather on my chest if that makes sense. And ever since getting into U.A, I've noticed that I have those kinds of days more often than before. Feels like something's weighing me down and I don't want to move against it.
Sometimes at night I...N-Nevermind heh sorry, getting off track here."
"No it's okay, I don't mind if you have something to say that needs to be said. Everybody has something on their mind that they want to get out of their system right? It's only human, and it's a lot better to spit it out than to hold it inside and have it mess you up real good. If you wanna say something, say it. I'm here to listen if you want."
"Hmph, thank you Senpai but, I don't wanna bother you with something personal. I know you have better things to be hearing."
Hado pouted her left cheek with the mildest glare directed to Midoriya, the first year oblivious to the completely non-hostile glare that was given to him from his left. Downplaying. A trait that Hado has come across many times in the past with her other friends. For whatever reason known to mankind a handful of people felt as if their words weren't deserving enough to be heard by her ears. She always hated that because then it felt as if they were holding her in a higher light than they held themselves. She wasn't special, she wasn't some golden child born to royalty who made everything she touch turn onto something beautiful. So why was it that she made others feel like they weren't good enough to be heard?
And in Midoriya's case it was the opposite, because Hado feels as if SHE was the one who didn't deserve to have her words heard. Given the level of strength, courage and bravery he's shown in one year alone? She couldn't begin to imagine the number of level of feats that he might accomplish by the time his third year rolls around. Just how much stronger will he grow as that insane Quirk of his is better utilized? The thought is making her brain churn and twist into a knot as excitement at the idea began to bubble uncontrollably inside of her. After she graduates she'll have to ensure to keep up with him as much as she could.
But, as much as she hated when others felt like they weren't good enough to speak their mind, she wasn't going to force it out of them either. That would be the last thing she wants to do. So with a mental note written and attached to the board of her mind she'll remember this...Or at least, attempt to, given she couldn't remember to retrieve her phone despite traveling across the entire school to fetch it from the green room.
In her glare towards him there was something that caught her attention in the right side of her vision, her eyes flicking towards the point of interest without wasting another moment. "Hey what's that?"
"Hm?" Midoriya hummed with head briefly turning to the third year but swiveling back to the right as Hado rose from her seat and looked at something behind him. Atop of a book shelf behind his seat was a light brown colored object that poked out at an acute angle, the recognition of glossy leather making it easier for Midoriya to identify the object. "Is that a wallet? How'd it get up there?"
"Don't know, but it's REEEEEEALLY high up there isn't it?" Hado commented, having to crane her head all the way as she stood beside the tall bookshelf. Midoriya wouldn't say this out loud, but she looked cutely short when next to the shelf. "No way it ended up there on accident, must have been a prank or something."
"You're gonna get it down from there right?"
"ME? No way we can't use our Quirks in the library, we'd get in trouble for it. They have like a sixth sense about it they always know somehow. Hmm, we can't leave it up there though somebody's probably looking for it...Ooh I know! Gimme a boost!"
"Huh?"
"You've played chicken right?"
"No but I know what it is."
"You've NEVER played chicken?!" Hado asked wide-eyed with a head shake response from Midoriya. "That has to change you're coming to the beach with us one of these days. Just get over here for now and gimme a boost."
Midoriya complied as he dropped everything and rose from his seat, making his way over to the side of the bookshelf where he then squatted down into a crouched position. Over the top of his back he felt Hado's hands as she placed each leg beside his neck and as close to his body as possible, patting the back of his head to signal the go ahead for him to stand up. "Okie-dokie easy does it now Midoriya."
The first year nodded as he slowly began to stand back up, the butt of Hado's weight being placed behind his head as he gripped onto her legs to keep her stable. He wobbled a bit on the come up but managed to securely stabilize Hado on his body, taking a deep gulp with his sights focused straight ahead of him. On each side of his face was a mass of warm, plushy skin, his cheeks tinting into a light pink with his brain going haywire. 'Holycrap, her legs are so soft!'
"Okay okay, forward..." Hado directed with Midoriya following the command. "Forrrwarrrrd. Lemme just..."
With effortless ease Hado reached up and out to grab the wallet on the edge of the bookshelf, her eyes traveling towards the back and spotting yet another. "Huh?! There's another one up here! Geez, somebody has a nasty habit of chucking wallets up here. Hey hey go around the front, it's all the way towards the back and towards the center I need a better angle."
"O-Okay." Gently as he could Midoriya rotated left and began walking around the corner of the bookshelf, coming to the front and heading down the line until Hado gave the order to stop just two feet in. He turned to face the books and stepped forward, feeling the third year's weight shift ahead of him as he listened to the sounds of her effort in trying to reach for the wallet. "You got it?"
"No, hnnnnn! Ugh! It's too far back, can you get a little closer?"
"Not much." The first year took a single step forward and had his nose press into the bind of a textbook, Hado further leaning forward with her legs shifting on his shoulders. Her moving around so much caused him to grip her plush thighs to keep her from falling, the chub of her right thigh pressing against his face with a soft warmth. 'Focus Izukuuuu. Focus.'
"Almost..." Hado grunted as her right fingers squiggled and stretched in an attempt to grab the wallet that was JUST out of her reach. It was right there right in front of her grasp but she couldn't quite reach it. "ALMOST..."
'Focussssss.' Midoriya thought, Hado's left thigh now pressing into the other side of his face and squishing his head in between her legs. 'FOCUSSSSSS.'
pop*
"Eh?" The first year clicked at the sound of something popping, or rather what sounded like something being undone. Like a small latch or a button on a suit jacket.
pop*
There it was again, the second time around leading him to look up to the direction it came from. His eyes widened as due to the constant moving and repositioning of Hado, the top buttons of her school shirt were catching onto the bind of a textbook that was at her chest level and undoing themselves without her notice. With two of the buttons and a third on the risk of being undone, he could see the noticeable signs of a light blue colored bra holding back a sizable bust and in risk of being completely exposed to him down below. "Oh no."
"Almost got it! Almost!"
"S-S-Senpai, Senpai your shirt."
"HNNNN..." With her body being pressed completely against the bookshelf Hado gave one last reach and finally managed to have her middle and index fingers breach over the wallet, pressing down on it as she exhaled from the effort. "Phew! Got it!"
"Senpai wait don't move."
"Hm? Don't groove?" Hado thought she heard, dragging the wallet back to her and leaning away from the bookshelf as the bind of a textbook pushed up against her third button. "Why would I want to groove-"
"NO DON'T-"
POP*
The bind pushed the button out of it's hold as the shirt opened to reveal the cups of a pretty blue bra, bouncing from the recoil of Hado's body against the snag of the textbook bind. The third year gasped as Midoriya became cemented in his spot, choked sounds croaking out of his throat at the glorious sight. Not because he was perverted by any means but rather how much volume and movement they had from the smallest of actions. Were those what she meant by the weight of the world?
Because if it was, then the weight of the world seemed to be a lot heavier than he imagined it to be.
-
'...big.'
"You know, I kinda wanna know who put those wallets on top of the book shelf like that." Hado commented, the two students returning to the comfort of their dorms, Midoriya's mind still stuck on the event of her bra being exposed by the accidental unbuttoning of her shirt. "Did somebody just chuck those up there as a prank or what? I dunno."
'...big.'
"What do you think Midoriya?"
'...very big.'
"Midoriya?"
"HUH?! O-Oh uh, yeah must have been a prank or something by somebody's friend. I doubt we'll find out anytime soon."
"Yeahhhh, probably. Oh hey before I forget, here take this!"
"Hm?" Midoriya hummed as Hado stuck her hand out to him from his left, a white slip caught in between the grasp of her fingers that she wiggled at him. He took the slip from her and held it up to read a series of numbers etched onto one side of the paper. "Senpai, is this your phone number?"
"Yup!"
"Why are you giving me this?"
"In case you ever need somebody to speak to." Hado answered. "Listen, about earlier when you were going to speak your mind, I'm not special or some kind of queen okay? You aren't going to disturb or bother me from anything if it means being able to get something off your chest. I'm here for you you're my friend right? And as real friends, we listen to each other if we have something that we need to get out of our minds. I'd rather prefer if a friend called me at one in the morning to say something than if they never did and let that thing eat away at their brain. It's not right.
If you ever need somebody to speak to, or you just wanna speak to me in general, text me. I'll be waiting okay?"
Midoriya gulped. "Y-Yeah, sure."
Hado nodded with a brightening smile as she began to split away from him to the left, the first year not even realizing they hit the split in the pathways. With her left hand she reached across her body and waved farewell to him over her shoulder. "Byeeeee! Have a good night!"
The first year could only give a half-hearted wave with a nod of his head, watching the flowing curls of her hair bounce and bob with each of her steps. As Hado continued to walk off into the distance a deep sigh filled his chest and was pushed back out, his attention diverting to the slip of a phone number in his right hand.
Were there any intentions of using this as she said he could use it for? Did he really see himself texting this phone number in the event something was plaguing his mind? Perhaps, though there was always that feeling that she could be using the time he spent to speak with somebody else than with him. Then again there would be times where the weight of the world did seem to be a little too heavy for him to deal with by himself. Was there truly any understanding of what the feeling of the weight of the world was like? He didn't know, but he did know what color it was.
It was light blue and in the shape of a bra.
