Chapter 2 the owl that fell from the sky

As excitement happens in the sky in a mining town known as Pride many workers were working hard in the mines but not just in the mines but also with stores and restraunts that help out the minners as at a restraint a Lithe imp with a serpent face dressed in overalls and a red shirt and a open red vest and a newsboy cap named Blitzo came in to pick up a meal for his boss "I need some meat balls for the boss please" he said as a Crab like sinner named poured a round of meatballs in the canister Blitzo used to bring the meal "Busy night to night eye lad?" Asked as Blitzo nodded "Yup it is finally getting busy for a change" as he payed for the meal and ran out "Still working?" Said a female imp as Blitzo waved "Yup buy" said Blitzo as he ran up to the hill to where the mining equipment was as he saw the old ruins and buildings wondering always where they were build. However as he went up he had to pause as he saw what looked like a pink star "What the?" He wondered as he picked up the pace to get where the star was falling as the closer he got he saw it was some sort of form.

"What is that a demon?" He asked nearly tripping as he got to the rim of the hole as he saw the figure of Stolas as he was slowly falling as Blitzo ran to the Crane area as he nearly fell off it but balanced on the tip as he quickly put down the canister of meatballs as he held his arms out as Stolas landed in his arms as he saw the glowing stone around Stolas neck as he felt Stolas floating in his arms as the stone slowly stopped glowing as it felt that gravity returned for Stolas as Blitzo grunted as he managed to keep his balance pulling Stolas up who was still unconcus as he gently placed Stolas on the ramp as he panted and

Male voice: BLITZO!

"Ahh" yelled Blitzo in surprise as he looked down and saw a hellhound named Vortex or Vox for short as he was shoveling coal "What are you doing up there? Did you bring me my dinner?" He asked "Yeah I did, but this male came down from the sky" said Blitzo as Vortex was confused but was distracted as steam blew annoyed "Blast these pipes" he said as Blitzo hurried to get down but quickly gave his vest to cover a still resting stolas "Here to keep you warm" he said as Blitzo ran down to help his boss as he brought the meal for Vortex "Listen, boss a became…" he started however more pipes were still shaking "agghn not again just when I got these fix" said Vortex annoyed" as Blitzo tried to tell him about Stolas

Vortex: Blitzo tighten the second valve will you? These no time to lose

Blitzo obeyed and got a pair of strong gloves after putting away the food

Vortex: the machinery is too old

Which was true as it was old as Blitzo went to work to check the valves as Vortex tapped with a wrench as he studied it "I think I need a bigger wrench" said Vortex as Blitzo got it "I got it" said Blitzo as the bell rang "Go run the hoist while I fix this" said Vortex as Blitzo was confused "Huh? *has a realized face* you think I can do it?" He said excited "You can Blitz" said Vortex as Blitzo gave Vortex the wrench and hurried to the machine as he was ready to pull the switches.

Vortex: Just stay calm and use your head

The hellhound said as Blitzo practiced well as the elevator puled up as he saw Stolas on the side and saw he was still safe and sound and was distracted "it the brake!" Yelled Vortex which snapped Blitzo out of it and pulled it in time as once up several minners pushed a cart of coal forward as a imp named Wally wackford the manager came up to the group "well how did it go boys?" He asked "No silver, not even a trace of tin" said a four armed sinner named Manny (Ben 10) shaking his head "Were just not having any luck" said a Hellhound female named Diana as it was true as the mine was running dry as Wally studied some rocks "Maybe we would if we tried digging the mines just east of here" said a gemstone like golem named Tetrax "I dont know these mines are worst than this one" said a humanoid earth angel named Luke cage worried about the mine digging "We just have to start all over again" said Wally "Lets just call it a night" said Tetrax as the minners started to head home to bed as Vortex pulled a lever to release some steam from the boiler. "Shut off the boiler Blitzo" he said taking his supper as Blitzo tried to tell him about Stolas but didnt get the chance "Were not gonna find anything today, things keep going like this we'll all be starving soon" which was true as the mine was drying up which worried Blitzo as he looked at Stolas still sleeping.

Vortex: and Blitzo maybe you could oil that blasted machine

"Ok Boss" said Blitzo as Vortex turned off the lights and continued down the tunnel "Thanks good night" "Night" said Blitzo as he was ready to do his job. Meanwhile in the air Chaz and Striker were in there scooter looking for Stolas as they returned to a blimp air ship where they landed on the doc along with a few others as they met with Bella "Ma its no use lets call it off there's too much cloud coverage its to dark" said Striker "What?!" Said Bella "Mom dont worry I'll find him" said a Dragon like sinner named Drago (JCA) "We'll all find her" said Ussop a Tengu sinner.

Back with Blitzo he finished up his chores as he continued to peek up and saw Stolas still sleeping as he finished up as quick as he can as Blitzo wondered who this demon was…

Authors note: Blitzo managed to save Stolas as he floated down but had never seen a owl demon like Stolas as he works the job he has as a minner though it was going dry slowly.

Next chapter Blitzo gets to know Stolas a bit more as he explains about himself and tries to understand the mysterious Stolas…
