Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter.
The clack of heels echoed on the pavement as a woman made her way down the street.
Her stature was tall, her body lean and her long blonde hair was tightly held down in a bun. She was wearing a long white dress with green highlights. Her hands were encased in green gloves as well. On her chest was a rather gaudy diamond necklace and on her head a white hat.
Holding her purse she looked around before seeing the establishment she was directed to.
Going inside she raised her hand. "Madam? Do you have a reservation?"
"...Potter." she took a while as if a bit confused before saying so.
Looking into the book the man nodded. "Your companion is here madam. Please follow me."
She didn't refute his statement as she was escorted to the table. Looking at the man there she observed him for a second. It had been at least 4 years since Hogwarts and he had certainly grown handsome.
He was going for the classic simple but classy look and it worked well. The long sleeve white shirt with cufflinks and the long black pants suited him. She spied the gold watch on his hand.
"Potter." She nodded in acknowledgement when he got up pushing the chair forward.
"Greengrass. How are you?" Harry sat down looking at her.
"As well as I could be. You should know." She paused at the question. It was impossible to do very well when her sister was-
"Mmm. Yes, your sister? Well, hopefully tonight will be fruitful for both of us." Harry nodded as their food came. He had ordered for both of them.
She leaned forward looking at the books he dropped. She controlled her facial expression trying not to let him know exactly how much she desired them.
She looked up into his face. She was glad he was taking it with the utmost seriousness. It made his image of being trustworthy so much more believable.
She knew most people already knew how desperate she was to help Astoria. So it was easy to tell her reaction wasn't very truthful. It would be easy to blackmail her with these books but he instead sought a transaction.
That was where she shined.
"These are books I've come across during my studies. They've never actually helped me but I've learned a thing or two from them." He told her as she sat back composing herself.
Folding her arms she listened.
"However my journey has led me to needing to outsource more often. What I already have in my grasp isn't enough. That's where you come in." He looked at her seriously.
She nodded slowly. She had become the head of her house when her father had gotten himself murdered. He wasn't a bad man however he got too much of a thrill playing both sides.
He died for it.
As he should. He had played with all their lives after all. It was luck that only he bore the consequences.
That didn't mean she didn't mourn him however.
"And you wish to continue your search into my family's private library. If anyone had told me you would be so book crazy I'd call them a liar Potter. Powerful you may be, bookworm you were not." She sipped her wine smiling at him.
"Well we all change don't we..Ms.Ice queen?" He raised an amused brow leaning forward as she looked away. How cute.
"You freeze a boy one time." She muttered, glancing at him with a sophisticated stink eye.
"One time?" Harry raised his next eyebrow. After going through his pensive so many times he caught many things he didn't before.
"Y-you! …maybe 7 or 8 times I suppose." she sighed, twirling her glass. She was surprised and secretly delighted he even knew that much about her. He seemed quite consumed the entire time at Hogwarts.
Though from what she heard it was understandable.
"So you've learned to live with Draco huh?" The boy had gotten out early on good behavior. He had apparently been softened quite a bit by the crazy prisoners and had been in communication with her sister for some time.
"He's not as much of a nuisance as before but still it doesn't make me any happier." She raised her glass as he poured another drink for her.
"Really? Well in any event I feel for you. Couldn't imagine being related to that ferret." Harry shuddered.
Daphne looked at him with a lazy, confused eye. "You know you are distantly related right? Your grandmother and grandfather had ties with the black family."
She giggled seeing his gobsmacked face. She could only chalk it up to him never really thinking about it.
"You didn't like Snape? Really?" Harry tilted his head at the admittance. He felt they would be getting along much better.
"Mmm. He was admittedly a good teacher to those he didn't attack but he was one of the many things wrong with Hogwarts." She sipped her refilled wine glass. Again.
'Surprising' Harry mused while listening to her. He knew not all Slytherins were bad. In fact even when he was 11 he never thought that. Still it was good to hear they didn't like the man as much as them.
"What do you mean?" He egged her on seeing her retreating in her shell. He wanted to hear her speak.
"...well for example he perpetuated the stereotypes that you already know about us. The favoritism and his stern demeanor did us no favors with the rest of the houses." She told him looking into her glass. She wouldn't say she was specifically affected but she still felt after shocks.
"People shouldn't judge others for the actions of another but this is the real world and they do. I didn't like Slughorn much but he would have been a much better option to ease tensions." She looked at him.
She wasn't normally this chatty so why was she speaking so much? Looking down she could only blame the wine.
She definitely wasn't pent up after ignoring male attention for so long. No sir.
"Well that was a particularly non productive talk wasn't it?" Harry mused as they went outside. He looked up at the dark night sky as he linked the woman's arm with his.
"I wouldn't say that exactly." She looked up as well. The stars were especially vibrant tonight. Was some astral event happening today?
"I suppose you're right. I got to know a rather quiet classmate of mine better." He chuckled as he checked his watch for the time. It was soon midnight.
"We can continue this talk if you want?" Harry paused as he tried figuring out what she meant by that. He looked down at her, seeing her look forward with a stubborn look. Clearly she hyped herself up to say it.
"Continue this talk…? At your place I presume?" Harry looked around as he asked for confirmation.
She nodded slowly. She was glad she didn't have to say it aloud. It was her first outing with a man in…well….
It was her first outing with a man.
She had particular things she wanted to try and she was the head of her house so…
Harry smiled.
"You aren't used to this huh?" Harry muttered in the woman's hair as she trembled.
His palm on her waist was where he started.
Slowly he shifted closer and pulled her in, wrapping his arm around her soft back. She was stiff like wood but he felt her relaxing.
He felt her soft breasts press against his chest and her face a few inches away. He was only a bit taller as she had heels on.
It was hot to smell her intoxicating scent. He could only wonder what shop she got the seductive perfume from.
Clearly they were succbi trying to get beautiful women to trap unsuspecting men like him
"I have some experience with this type of debauchery Potter. D-don't underestimate me!" After she said that she closed the gap left between their faces and kissed his lips soundly. She greedily took in his scent feeling lightheaded at the musk.
It was deep and passionate, and especially lustful that got their gears turning.
He felt her full lips melting into his. He could taste the lipstick on them and was sure his lips were a mess.
It soon turned into a deeper lips lock as they twisted and turned trying to find the best position.
He felt her tongue probe his lips seeking entrance. He allowed it.
His tongue curled around hers for a second before he pulled it back. The kiss was turning more filthy by the second.
He shifted his knee pressing it into her warm heat as he felt her grinding slowly on it.
"Mhng. Air." She pulled back as their tongues separated a long line of combined drool showing.
Harry reached down blindly behind her. His hand trailed down her back catching a moment to squeeze her supple butt, and he pulled her dress up gripping her meaty bun in a full squeeze.
Just as she was about to dive in she gulped feeling the next hand come down and lift her up.
"Greengrass? Where's the bedroom?" Harry asked, looking around.
She shakily pointed upwards as he followed.
Bursting open the door he rested her down on the bed as she sat like a little porcelain doll. Before he could do anything she threw her arms over his neck.
'She loves kissing!' He mused as he took hold of her face giving her, her fill. Their tongues clashed fiercely as his hands crept upwards.
Her well formed mounds heaved in great pleasure, feeling his fingers sinking into her soft skin. Her hands carelessly tugged on the top of her dress pulling free her perfect tits.
She moaned, feeling his bare hands on her plump breast. He pulled at her little peaks making a delightful pain she was deeply enjoying.
Harry clenching a bit of the more than handful released the kiss looking at her swollen lips and begging eyes. The blue orbs seemed to be begging him to begin.
He didn't.
What he did do was look at her flimsy little white dress, seeing the straps down her shoulders. He could see her perfectly formed breast dangling in his view.
Moving downwards he saw her dress riding up on her thighs showing him a tantalizing view.
"Potter? What are you?" The woman was confused, feeling her feet be raised. She gripped the sheets as he kneeled pushing her legs folding her like paper.
"Potter s-stop!" Who wouldn't feel embarrassed with the way he was staring at her nethers?!
Harry looked at the stained fabric and gulped. The green fabric was soaked at the crouch and he could see the outline of her no doubt pink flesh.
He pooled drool at his tongue as he located her enticing little nub. Diving in he ignored her struggling as he dragged it over the panty covered clit tasting her deeply.
"Ah!" The woman's hips jerked something fierce.
The sound of furious scribbling was present as Harry reworded his journal for the 2nd time. He needed to find a way to make sure the words were as captivating as they could be.
He needed to get the point across of how important it was to make sure everything was perfect. He wouldn't know what to do if it was ignored just because he didn't document the issue properly.
That's why after a minute he stopped. He closed his eyes and thought for a bit, charming the pages blank again. He needed to think. How would his past self get the point clearly?
Harry looked up with bland eyes. Centering himself he immersed himself in the memories of the past. He experienced them like it happened just yesterday. He felt the grief, anger, loathing, self disgust hit him like a train.
He used the mind arts to enhance these feelings as he picked up the quil. Magic was intent. So with every word he stroked he poured his entire being inside. He described every close encounter and every triumph he had in detail.
He painted the picture of all the tragedies that took place and the effect that they had on others.
He articulated exactly how being in others' lives help serve to make them so much worse. His depression ruled his hand as he wrote.
'Yes. This will do.' He mused feeling as if his essence was being sucked out.
This would do nicely.
"Hmm?" Harry looked up at the owl that came to his window. Tilting his head he approached it pulling out his wand.
After casting the appropriate spells he knew it wasn't a threat. So taking the package and letter from its legs he summoned some treats before giving it to the girl.
"Daphne?" He ignored the owl rubbing against his hand as he saw the name of the letter. Opening it he read over it quickly as he smiled widely.
"So she found it huh?! Great!" He chuckled happily. The woman had given him the impression that she had stopped looking for it but this was a real pleasant surprise.
'I'll have to do something nice for her.' He smiled happily, placing the letter down. Turning his eyes to the parcel he now knew it was shrunk. Casting the counter charm he watched as it reverted to a book shape as the covering snapped off.
He picked up the book reading the title.
"Alxxxdria's Cxdex of Rxnic and Ritxxlistic Phenomenon" He didn't mind the faded writing. He already knew the name from the shade he summoned. He had tracked down the book and knew 3 families in Britain had to have it.
Greengrass was the first one he went to and he was glad he didn't need to waste time on the others.
With his new guide even as faded as it was he could now put his plan into action. He already had experience with the subjects from work and his own hobby so he wouldn't be blindly groping in the dark.
Luckily runes worked on intent not a specific language so translating the foreign runes wasn't a problem. Of course some languages were able to communicate intent better than others so it may be a bit different but he was sure it wouldn't be a problem.
Flipping through the book he slowly transferred everything to do with time onto another book. This was the only copy of this book in existence so he would have to be delicate. It was charmed against duplication as well which was unfortunate.
However from what he was seeing he frowned. Every single mention of time showed that it was impossible to directly interfere with the past. Nearly every single section warned only death awaited for any who wanted to try permanently alter the past with their own hands.
'...that's alright. I've never once thought about trying to alter it with my hands.' He smiled as if privy to a joke only he knew.
However he stopped seeing an interesting ritual. He passed by most as he saw they had very specific rules and regulations. The time of day, materials he knew were extinct, star alignments years in the future, exaggerated sacrifices…
'No wonder these fell out of public sight. Even if you wish to do them you need the right mindset. Pure evil most of the time. Rituals don't seem to care for human sensibilities.' Still what he was looking at was very tempting. After all he was only one man.
It was impossible to ask him to come from work, then to pacify 2 ladies who wanted his time. Sometimes on the same day!
He just wasn't built like that! He could be though…
He closed the book seeing the owl come in. He already recognized it.
"Unspeakable Potter? There's a situation that needs attending to. We request your assistance." The modified howler burnt to a crisp leaving no traces as the owl followed it.
"Mmm." Harry sighed before donning his robes. Back to the grind again he supposed.
However even as he got prepared the words still lingered at the back of his mind.
"Txtan's Vxgor Rite of Fxcxndxty"
Some time had passed since then and he was getting closer and closer to his goal. He had gotten rid of the old way he wrote in the diary for convenience. It took some time but he felt it was worth it.
He also added a little extra in hopes of having a better chance to change the future to how he wished. He hoped it paid off.
Even if it didn't though he felt it would be okay. Most of his friends already had kids for some reason but he felt it was okay. He was happy to be an uncle and Godfather to so many kids.
It made him feel blessed. Still didn't change his mind though.
However Ginny was hinting very subtly at wanting kids and Harry felt his heart pick up. The woman was still entertaining this silly little game they were playing and he was truly undecided.
Daphne too had been hinting at wanting a relationship and he felt the noose around his neck tightening.
So he quickly, with the guidance of other talented witches and wizards tried making the ritual. This way he could make it better for everyone.
He was sure that…
Well he wasn't too sure anymore but he was so close he could taste it! And one more step he would take was the ritual.
He had the appropriate materials, he monitored the time and knew the date that it would be effective was drawing near.
Unfortunately his body was already past the date that this ritual would have the greatest effect. Well that was what he got from it anyway.
The translation was a bit fuzzy but he was sure it was alright.
"Andromeda." Harry walked inside the house nodding to the grandmother. They hadn't been the most cordial though that was mainly on her end.
The woman seemed to have a silent bias for him. Though he never said anything about it. He felt a bit of accusations were warranted towards him.
"Harry." The woman stopped knitting as she looked over to him with a bland smile. While she admittedly didn't like the boy she knew he was the best guardian for Teddy.
"So what was the occasion?" He didn't snark at the woman as he sat. He didn't care to do so. No matter how much he was irritated.
"I'm dying." She went back to knitting as she said so.
Harry paused and looked at her in shock. Taking a deep breath he calmed down. "And Teddy?"
"He doesn't know yet. He only knows his grandmother is getting weaker and weaker every passing day." She sighed out feeling pain at her sweet little light. He was her only solace after her daughter died.
"And you need me to take care of him right? Don't worry about it. I'll be there for him." It wasn't even a question. His obsession was already waning a bit and he wouldn't allow Teddy to suffer as he did.
Andromeda paused in a bit of shock at the quick acceptance but smiled bitterly after a minute. Indeed he was always like this wasn't he? Even after the vitriol she spouted towards him he still was responsible as ever huh?
"Sorry." She said with a whisper as he looked at her with a complicated look. She paused seeing him get up and walk near her.
"You've been having it tough to huh? Sorry I never saw it." He hugged the woman pushing past his uncomfortable feeling. He only now realized just how alone this woman was in this little house of hers.
Perhaps he should have also tried a bit harder here? However it was hard when she was so stubborn.
He would still count it as another failure to write about.
"...you're a sweet child Harry. Don't let anyone tell you differently." The woman placed down the material as she sank into the hug.
Harry didn't say anything towards the tears he felt. He just let the woman get it all out.
Harry added the finishing touches to his journal. The book was now a hand sized thing with a brown worn cover for discreteness.
Opening it however showed its complexity as it expanded. The ink shifted and flowed as it formed words.
Chronicles
People of Importance/ in progress.
Charms
Enchantments
Transfiguration
Rituals
Dark Arts….
It went further on. It was his idea to install the collected knowledge he had access to inside it. A precaution just in case his past self got stuck in any untoward situation.
Taking his wand he moved it over charms. The ink shifted as the index appeared. He touched the first section waiting as it shifted again.
What is a charm?
A charm, also known as an enchantment, was a spell that added certain properties to an object or individual.
The art of producing charms was known as charmwork and was taught as a core subject nearly everywhere you could name. The subject is a staple core in everything that concerns our world.
An object that had a lasting charm placed on it was called bewitched, though charms, in general, appeared to last longer than other spells…..
While he was working on making time travel possible he also had some free time to add to this. It wasn't totally complete but it was just there as a measure honestly. After all, why would there be a need for it if everything went to plan?
Still the time to begin draw near. He could feel it.
Harry drew the runic contraption onto the floor in a rush! In one week the planets were going to align! In a straight LINE!
He had summoned a famous diviner and she told him a phenomenon of biblical proportions was about to cause the reaction!
After all his calculations and spreadsheets, all his constant hours of work he knew that this was what he needed! The magic needed to power just what he was about to do was astronomical.
Truly a catastrophic event needed to be present for him to even have a chance at succeeding and he found it!
It was like a sign that he was meant to succeed and how could he decline?
For but a handful of time, the lines of magic on this planet would be completely blurred and in that small window he would be able to...
He would need to take advantage of this. He couldn't possibly fail now.
Harry was tired.
He looked over everything 7 times. He loaded a bag with numerous wands, even more galleons, a high quality invisibility cloak, ritual materials, potions materials and everything he thought would be needed to completely dominate Voldemort.
He didn't feel like he was missing anything so he went back to his journal reading over it. He felt as if his entire being was coming out as he was deeply obsessed over it again.
Everything had to be right. This was the culmination of everything. What he ignored so many events for, what he altered his life for.
What he wasted most of his life on. What he wasted his life on.
He walked back to the ritual circle. He placed the book and the bag on top. Taking his wand he grit his teeth as he broke his connection with the book. He could feel the hazy line that was connected to his soul gone.
Figuratively anyway….
The book however showed a definite difference as it changed from its brown color and soft back to a black hard cover book.
Harry looked at the circle. What he was sure about was where it would teleport when the ritual was done. Everything else he knew was a toss up but he still tried. Even with all his resources this was where he stopped.
He began placing everything in place as he watched the runes shifted. They would automatically activate whether he was here or not so he needed to get everything set-
Something tripped his ward.
He looked up in terror. There was no way! Today of all days?! He could have sworn he locked down his wards! He added many over the years so how?!
Only someone with his blood running through then could get through! And there was no one with his blood alive! Not as much as was required!
"Harry! Where are you?! I have great news!" The shirll scream of pure joy came.
Ginny Weasley was ecstatic as she dropped into Grimmauld Place. She rested a hand onto her stomach feeling the new life. She was terrified at first. After all not a single time did she miss using her contraceptive charms.
Yet why was she pregnant?! However after some thought she felt it was a nice hit in the face. She and Harry had been pussy footing around too long. It was time to settle down like adults.
Not like a bunch of horny teenagers.
'Not that I mind of course!' She quickly turned around wand in hand pointing it at…Greengrass?
"Oh…it's you." she sniffed seeing the woman she knew Harry was sleeping with. It had been an awkward conversation when she caught them at first but Ginny Weasley was a woman of her word.
If he thought he could fuck another woman and still satisfy her then he could try and try he did. He got full marks from her though it was such a bitter pill to swallow.
Daphne paused as she looked at Weasley. She didn't have much of an opinion on her other than being a woman Harry occasionally had sex with.
She was of course massively jealous at first but she tempered that reaction when she remembered they hadn't defined what they were at the time. Being a jealous bitch would end everything.
So she had 2 options. Either break it off with him or continue going and steal him away from her from the weasel.
You could guess which one she chose.
"Weasley…have you seen Harry? I have great news for him." she looked down smiling as she rubbed her stomach. She did not in fact use contraceptive charms leaving it to Harry.
However it seemed he forgot the last time not that she minded. It just meant she finally one upped Weasley.
Now it was time to prepare their engagement. She knew Harry very well and he would take responsibility for his actions. She already had her dress picked out…
Ginny froze a bit as she looked at the action. That was very familiar…
Both women paused hearing a commotion down stairs. Arming themselves they looked at each other before nodding.
"I imagine you know the way better Weasley?" Daphne took point behind her as they slowly descended the steps where Harry was more than likely present.
"You'd be right. When I was a little girl I came…HARRY YOU WANKER WHAT THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" The woman screamed terrified at what she saw.
It was a scene out of a ritualistic nightmare. The walls were covered in blood red runes. They were pulsing as if they were breathing veins.
A palpable buildup was in the air as the terrified women watched the hole in reality be ripped and shredded. They watched with their bodies stiff as the…grotesque hand pushed through the hole as it groped around for something. It was covered in puss and its skin was decaying in which even bone showed.
Everything it touched decayed as well!
A million crazy eyes from different colors and sizes peered at them from the void. Their sanity chipped away when they felt the pressure on their minds as if trying to implant something on them.
Most concerning was Harry who was on the floor bleeding out from both his wrist!
"Move woman! Move!" Ginny immediately shouted to her as she ran over to Harry. She aimed her wand trying to levitate his body when she paled.
Her magic wasn't working!
"Help me you stupid blonde tart!" She screamed over to the woman whose face was drained of blood.
Daphne regained her sensibilities as she ran like hell towards Ginny. Trembling in deep bone chilling terror. She tried ignoring the multitude of eyes staring at her as she took hold of her man's arms.
Pulling him out both women hauled ass out of the house! Ginny kicked the door open and they got 5 steps out before the house crumpled off the face of the earth.
Literally
It folded into itself as it slowly shrank into nothing before sinking into the portal .
Sitting back in deep horror they could only watch as the portal that was still there was slowly closed off with a ominous *Pop*
Never to be seen again.
They watched lightheaded and terrified wondering what the fuck Harry James Potter was up to before Ginny caught herself.
"Harry!" Ginny quickly turned her attention away as she tried healing his wrist, sighing in relief when her magic worked.
"What was that?!" Daphne came behind her shoulder looking at the pale man, her own face pale, hands clapped together.
"I don't know but we are about to find out." Ginny narrowed her eyes as he came to.
"My head…" He got up feeling as if he could see for the first time in years.
"What happened-" Harry paused, seeing the state of the house. Or rather the former house.
He was soaked in sweat as he observed it. Looking around he paused seeing the two ladies he was….dating?
"You have a lot of explaining to do, mister…"
'Ah shit.'
Into dumpster this one went. I still had fun writing it so I'll post it.
