A couple of hours later, Ziwu was at home getting ready to take a bath. Her servants sprinkled pink and red rose petals into the water as another maid added lavender oil to the water. Her personal maid, XiaoJiu, started helping her take off her clothes.
"Your bath is ready miss." The servant said.
"Thank you." Ziwu said.
She walked over to the tub and climbed down into it.
"Is everything ready for Friday?" Ziwu asked.
"Yes ma'am. Young master will be home by the afternoon." Xiaojiu said.
"It'll be good for Lanjue to be home." Ziwu said.
Meanwhile downstairs, one of the servants was making dinner in the kitchen when there was a knock at the door. Mr. Xue, the butler and head of housekeeping went to the front door and opened it to see a young man from the reservation.
"May I help you?" He asked.
"I'm looking for Li Ziwu." The young man said.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"Jacob Black." He answered.
Mr. Xue looked at the young man and saw the cord on his wrist. That's when he remebered his converstion with Ziwu a couple days ago.
~flashback~
"Mr Xue? I need to inform you of something." Ziwu said coming into the kitchen.
"Yes my lady." He said.
Ziwu told him about the young man she had met and told him about the cord she put around his wrist.
"If you ever see a young man from the reservation come here make sure you ask his name." Ziwu said.
"What is his name?" He asked.
"Jacob Black."
~end flashback~
"Oh. It's nice to meet you." Mr. Xue said letting him in. "I'm Mr. Xue, the housekeeper."
Mr. Xue led him into the living room and had him have a seat in one of the chairs.
"Can I get you anything?" He asked.
"Do you have any coke?" Jacob asked.
"Yes sir." He said. "Let me get that for you."
Mr. Xue went to get him a can of coke as a maid came downstairs. She walked over to him and started taking off his shoes.
"What are you doing?" Jacob asked.
"Mr. Xue forgot to tell you that you must remove your shoes before entering the house." She said taking off his sneakers.
Mr. Xue came back with a large can of Coke and gave it to him as the maid went back upstairs. Jacob started looking around after Mr. Xue left. He saw a large potrait on the far wall of a family of four. In the picture, Ziwu was in a blue and silver Qiapo dress, sitting beside a young man who was a couple years older than her on a white chaise. He had the same color hair as her and wore a silver pendant that matched hers. A married couple was standing behind them. The man was in a black suit with a white tie. His black hair was cut short and he stood at 6'2. His wife stood at 5'8 with long white hair held up with a few silver hair accessories. She was also in a Qiapo dress that was white and silver. As he looked around at the stuff in the living room, he heard footsteps coming toward him. He turned around to see Ziwu in her pajamas.
"Hey Jacob." Ziwu said.
He put down the can he was drinking on a nearby table as she got closer to him and she hugged him. He hugged her back for a minute and let her pull away. He saw that her hair was down and that her ears and tail were out.
"What are you doing here? Is everything okay?" Ziwu asked.
"Oh everthing is fine. I just wanted to come and see you." Jacob said. "Did I catch you at a bad time?" He asked.
"Oh no you didn't." Ziwu said. "Did you eat dinner?" She asked.
"No." Jacob said.
"Do you wanna join me for dinner?" She asked.
"Alright." He said.
She reached out her hand toward him and he grasped her hand. She brought him into the dining room where the servants were setting up dinner for the two of them. They sat down across from each other as Mr. Xue put place setting for both of them at the table. She picked up her chopsticks and reached for one of the dishes on the table.
"Mr. Xue? Can you get some rice for Jacob and I?" Ziwu asked.
"Yes ma'am." He said.
"You do know how to eat with chopsticks right?" Ziwu asked Jacob.
"Yeah." Jacob said picking up his chopsticks.
Mr. Xue put a bowl of rice infront of Jacob first and then Ziwu before backing away from the table.
"Mr. Xue you can go eat with the other servants. I'll let you know if we need you." Ziwu said.
"Yes ma'am." He said.
Mr. Xue left as they started eating together. As they were eating, Jacob started asing her about the picture he was looking at in the living room.
"So the guy sitting next to you is your older brother?" Jacob asked.
"Yes. His name is Lanjue. He is coming home in a couple of days." Ziwu said. 'He took over our father's company when our parents passed away." She said.
"So he's been away on business?" He asked.
"Yeah. It will be good for him to be home." Ziwu said.
As they ate dinner, they talked to each other about themselves. After they finshed dinner, they went into the den to watch a movie. Ziwu put on one of her favorite movies and sat down on the sofa with Jacob.
"What are we watching?" Jacob asked.
"It's the Japanese version of the Ring." Ziwu said.
Mr. Xue bought them popcorn and snacks as the movie started. As they were watching the movie, the housekeeper went to check the ground. About 30 minutes into the movie, they both heard a loud wolf howl.
