Author's Notes

In the wilderness areas of planet Thel Amar, you can find diverse beasts and creatures. Here are some examples.

thel striders:

These large insects inhabit the deepest areas of the forests. They typically move in groups of three to six. As formidable predators, they pose a significant threat to small groups or unarmed individuals. Their primary attack tactic involves surrounding their prey and striking with their stinger, which delivers a potent toxin capable of paralyzing their victims. One exploitable weakness is their slow flight speed.

Note: Their venom is often used as a paralytic agent by assassins.

Devourers:

A formidable reptilian creature native to the planet, known for its savage and territorial nature. They are inherently aggressive, even towards members of their own species. If encountered, it's recommended to hide and avoid attempting to flee, as they are surprisingly swift, faster than their appearance suggests. (victims Kenny and Jenkins)

Bats of the Shadows:

Nocturnal beings descended from ancient Terra bats, these creatures are larger than their terrestrial relatives. They inhabit caves, but have also been spotted in areas like sewers. Wild predators that hunt in packs, they abhor light and loud noises, making it advisable to remain silent in their presence.

The Night Stalker:

A mysterious creature exists, shrouded in darkness and uncertainty. Few records remain of this elusive being. Those who have crossed paths with it share a chilling commonality: all encounters occur under the cover of night. Survivors are considered fortunate, as it always claims a victim. The Night Stalker prowls forested terrain, particularly in the trial zones for new recruits. (victims Fabian and Heather)

Abyssal Fish:

Data suggests this creature may be an ancient fish brought from old Terra, evolved over time to reach enormous size. These beings inhabit the planet's swampy regions and have also been spotted in certain lakes. Extremely dangerous, they can devour multiple prey simultaneously. It's advisable to avoid approaching their habitats, as they can emerge from the water and ensnare victims with ease.

Gryph or Gryphus:

On the planet Thel Amar, a creature exists that bears a striking resemblance to an ancient mythological being. Data suggests that this creature may be the result of bioengineering rather than natural evolution. They typically inhabit mountains or similar regions. Although aggressive, they can be domesticated and ridden, as evidenced by ancient reports.

Notes: Currently, it is believed that few remain on the planet. Spotting one is said to bring good luck and is considered a favorable omen.

The Depths:

Suspicions persist that unknown animals or creatures still inhabit the planet of Thel Amar, a mystery fueled by testimonies from those claiming to have seen unrecorded beings. In the training zone for new recruits, individuals who have navigated cavernous areas swear they've heard a thunderous roar emanating from the depths. The detected sound may indicate the presence of a massive subterranean creature.

XXXX

Here I leave a small bestiary. The creatures that appear are those that have appeared in this chapter, obviously there are more on the planet

I looked to see if there was a counterpart to the gryph in Warhammer 40k, and I couldn't find it, so I put a version here. which is what Lincoln and his companions see almost when they arrive at the rescue area. (If I was wrong, tell me)

U. N. Owen: Thank you, and I take this opportunity here to tell you who the other recruits I am referring to are.

Kenny, well this one doesn't need an explanation.

Jenkins, also known as Josh Jenkins, is the Mass Effect 1 character who tragically dies during the game's opening mission. The name 'Josh' honors his voice actor, Josh Dean.

Heather is a reference to the character Heather from the animated TV series Total Drama.

The last four characters - Thomas, Marlowe, Hannah, and Franz - are from the anime series 'Attack on Titan' (Shingeki no Kyojin), with their surnames swapped among themselves. and percent these last four die. well in the series. They are minor characters

That's all for now, I know this chapter was short but it's just a fact sheet, thanks and goodbye for now.
