Hi, and welcome to a brand new adventure, this time being a crossover between my and Bllodrayne666's TMNT stories and Pokémon Ultra Sun. Now, I will be playing through the actual game, and taking note of how things go and such, so things might get a bit crazy.
Let's see how all of this turns out.

Mutants: Ultra Sun

Chapter 1

Start Up

It was a day like any other in Mutopia, the hidden mutant sanctuary underneath Chicago.

The Hamato clan was again visiting their close friends, joining in on all of their daily activities, which of course included patrolling Chicago, protecting its inhabitants from all manner of criminals.

Having just returned from their first patrol of the night, the viper mutant, Kate, opened the door to her room, followed closely by her boyfriend, Michelangelo. The two always stayed in each other's room whenever one visited the other, spending as much time as possible together when they had the chance.

"Okay, baby. I'm just gonna take a quick shower, then we can go and grab some dinner." Kate said.

"Mind if I join you, Katie?" Michelangelo asked.

"I'd love you to, hun, but it's just gonna be a wash of my hair, just a quick in and out."

"I could give you a quick in and out." Michelangelo said with a smirk.

"You horndog!" Kate laughed. "Another time, Mikey. Maybe even tonight. But right now, I just want to freshen up and then get some food. I'm starving from the patrol."

"Yeah, me too." said Michelangelo. "There sure were a lot of goons tonight. I think we all worked up a good appetite."

"Wouldn't surprise me. Actually, you know what, you can go to the mess hall right away, and I'll join you once I'm done. After that, we could relax a while in the rec-room, you can even play some of your games while we're there."

"Are you sure, Kate? I could skip my games if you want to. I know you ain't that interested in them."

"You're right, I'm not, but you are and you find them fun, so I want to learn for your sake."

"Aw, Kate. You're just the best girl a turtle could ask for."

"And don't you forget it." Kate said, giving her boyfriend a wink.

As Kate gathered her things and headed for the showers, Mikey grabbed his 3DS and games, and headed towards the mess hall.

On his way there, he ran into Hacker the spider.

"Hey, Mikey. Just the turtle I was looking for."

"Really? Why? You're not angry because we lost that online game last night, are you?"

"Nah, they were just better than us." the spider shrugged. "No, I wanted to see you because I got something for you. Here."

Hacker placed a small object in Michelangelo's hand, and the turtle instantly recognised what it was.

"A new 3DS game?! So cool!" he looked closer at the tiny cartridge, checking the title. "Pokémon: Ultra Sun. Sweet! I can't wait to give this a go! Where did you get it?"

"Cam and Barry found it topside on the scavenge run while you were on patrol, gave it to me when they came back. I checked it, and it seems to be working perfectly, and there's no existing save data on it, so you can just start up and get going with your own adventure."

"Awesome! Thanks, dude! But, why me? I mean, they gave it to you, so it should be yours."

"Don't worry about it. I already have the counterpart, Pokémon: Ultra Moon, so I was hoping that you and I could both cooperate and compete, once you catch up to where I am right now."

"That sounds like a sweet deal to me, thanks again, dude." Michelangelo said, giving the spider a fist bump.

As Hacker returned to his computer centre to check up on the security cameras and other systems once more before dinner, Michelangelo looked excitedly at his new game.

He loved playing games, video games especially, but board games were also fun together with others. But something that had really grabbed his interest over the years was role-playing games, Dungeons and Dragons specifically.

He thought back on his first game with his brothers, sister, Tyroth, and Sephie, and how they had become their characters, really living their lives, all thanks to a little quartz die that had been enchanted right before they started playing. It really made the game so much more immersive than he could ever have imagined.

That's when he got an idea.

A few minutes later, Michelangelo arrive at the mess hall, taking his pick of the food offered before going to find a place to sit. There were a lot of people already there, eating and talking to each other like the close friends they were.

One person that caught the turtle's eye was Kate, whom had arrived before her and was already eating.

"Heya, Katie." Michelangelo said as he sat down next to her.

"There you are. I thought you would already be here."

"Sorry, I got a bit caught up along the way." he said with a sheepish smile. He then took out his 3DS and inserted his new game in it, while also placing a small quartz die on the table next to his game.

"What are you up to?" Kate asked.

"Oh, nothing special. Just wanna see if I can make this game more… alive." he said, and started the game.

The die started to glow and shine brightly, until it covered a good part of the mess hall.

A screen flickered and came to life. A computer desktop, with an icon flashing, indicating an incoming video call. The mouse cursor moves to the icon, and clicks on it.

A window opened, showing a figure on the other end of a webcam. The image was blurry, out of focus, but the figure on the other end quickly adjusted it, bringing itself into focus.

A man in his early thirties of an athletic build, muscular and tanned. He had a white lab coat that had it's sleeves rolled up and front open, showing that he had no shirt underneath. He also wore a pair of shades, a white cap, and he sported a trimmed goatee.

"Hey there! Good afternoon!" the man said in a happy voice, his dark eyes matching his mood.

"So the day has finally come that you're moving to Alola!"

A picture of four islands popped up.

"Alola is a region chock full of nothin' but rare Pokémon, yeah! There's no shortage of cool Pokémon out here in Alola, either!"

The map was closed down, and the man hold up a red and white ball the size of a baseball, a Poké Ball.

"Such mysterious creatures!"

He tossed the ball up into the air, and out of the camera's field of view, and shortly after a sort of poof was heard, a small dog like creature fell into the man's lap.

It was mostly light brown, with darker muzzle, paws, and tips on the ears, as well as a grayish-white tail that was fluffy and curled tightly towards it's back, and a collar like growth of fur with dark pebbles.

It playfully sniffed the area, it's large blue eyes scanning everything around it before turning it's attention to the man.

"You find'em ll over. In the grass, in the caves, in the sky and sea… Here in Alola we love our Pokémon, and we depend on them heaps, too. Some of us even battle with'em, if we call ourselves Pokémon Trainers!"

Another Pokémon suddenly appeared, a tiny fuzzy thing with white wings, a yellow body, four black spindly legs with round feet. Two large black eyes and a small brown proboscic adorned its white face. The almost fairy like bug started buzzing around and the dog playfully chased it while still in the man's life.

"Rockruff! Cutiefly! I'll play with you later, so cool your jets!" the man said kindly, and the two Pokémon calmed down.

"All right, I gotta ask you some questions about yourself so I can introduce you to everybody! So which photo should I use for your Trainer Passport?"

Four photos appeared on screen, all of a humanoid turtle doing various poses.

"Let's go with the first one." Mikey said on his side of the video call. "It's a little less.. crazy."

"The first one? You okay with the one you chose, yeah?" the man asked.

"Yeah, I am."

"All right then, I'll let you spell out your name for me too."

"Sure. It's Mikey. M. I. K. E. Y."

"So, you go by Mikey?"

"Yup, that's right!"

"10-4, good buddy! I'll let everybody out here know you're on your way!"

The man leaned back a bit in his chair.

"Mikey! Yeah, that's a name that hits you like a Trop Kick right to the head! Woo! Can't wait to see you in person then, cousin!"

The man smiled, waved, and then ended the video call, leaving Mikey alone in his room.

"I really dig this dude's vibes." Mikey said, leaning back in his own chair.

Elsewhere, a young girl ran through a complex. She had green eyes and long blond hair that mostly hung freely along her back, save for some side bangs that ended in long braids, and was dressed in a large white sun-hat and matching sleeveless sundress, as well as white tube socks and pale blue dress shoes. A large grey barrel bag with black, red, and white details, was slung over one shoulder and she held it closely against her side with one hand.

Rapid footsteps behind her, she ran until she reached a large, triangular open elevator, and upon stepping into the middle of it, safety railings were raised, and shortly after the entire elevator moved upwards, depositing her into a massive terrarium.

Scarcely placed walkways of a white material connected the various parts of the terrarium, which was littered with large rocks, palm trees, bodies of water, bushes, flowers, and grass. In short, a lush and tropical environment.

The girl looked around nervously, looking for an escape, but she soon found more of the white dressed staff chasing her along the walkways.

She took turns left and right, trying to lose them, but they stayed close behind her, and things took a turn for the worse when two strange figured barred her way.

Unlike the staff of the complex, which wore white uniforms with some gold details, short sleeves, extra pockets, long gloves, and caps, these figures wore what looked almost like some form of spacesuits, sporting a white and dark teal colour scheme. Their open helmets revealed pale teal skin on humanoid faces, but their upper halves were obscured by a white mask with a thin black visor.

The first one looked to be an adult male, a thick lock of purple hair hanging down between where his eyes would have been, while the second seemed to be a young girl, with a small lock of orange hair hanging on the side of her mask, and a long, thick braid hung over her right shoulder.

The man held out his arms to block the fleeing girl's path, and as he and the others of the staff closed in, the girl's attention was quickly pulled elsewhere as a small creature inside of her bag chimed and rainbow coloured light started to shine increasingly powerful from it.

In a matter of seconds, she was covered in the strong light, and both the staff and the strangers had to cover their eyes.

All of a sudden, the light vanished, and the girl in white was gone.

Okay, real talk, the first couple of chapters might get a bit heavy in plot, as might any future ones given the number of cut-scenes in the game. I hope I can steer things a bit into a more free area soon.

Small note, btw, the quartz die that Michelangelo pull out made its debut in another of my stories, Rollplaying Gone Wrong. Take a quick look at that if you feel like it.
