Disclaimer: I decided to write a female Takumi and Ryosuke. If it's not suit you, just skip! Thanks.

I don't own Initial D; it is one of my favorite comics. I hope that my fanfic won't offend any Initial D's fans. I have created a female Takumi instead under the name of Tatsuki; I hope you will like them. This is a fanfic. All characters except for Initial D's characters are all imaginary characters. Most of the details are fictional and any similarities are coincidence.

To be frank, I have been thinking what if Takumi is a girl and how the story would be. I don't know if it's going to turn out well and hope that my writing style isn't too boring. Please bear with my English. I'd be much appreciated to see your reviews.

A long elegant finger pressed on the digital clock at 4.00AM. A girl in a simple tee and shorts slowly got out of the bed, swaying from side to side as she made her way to the bathroom. Big brown eyes looked up into the mirror, water droplets dripped down her oval face before she grabbed a face towel and wiped dry.

Fujiwara Tatsuki, an eighteen years old girl with a beautiful face and gentle smile, was tying her long black hair into a high bun while walking down the stairs. It was her usual morning delivery routine. She stood next to a forty years old man who was enjoying his morning puffs. He handed her a cup of water that filled to the brims once she got into her seat.

"So much?" Tatsuki whined as she put it in the cup holder.

"Get going and drive safely," Bunta said with a gentle smile.

The Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno Apex GT sped down the quiet street of Shibukawa towards Mount Akina. Fujiwara Bunta watched his car disappeared before entered the shop. He still had work to do. He knew his girl would be back by 4.30am like she used to every morning. He was happy at the current progress which had not been any faster for a year.

Tatsuki was humming and tapping her fingers while maneuvering the car up the mountain road. Her eyes kept glancing at the cup every time she passed the turns. It took her fifteen minutes to reach Akina Resort hotel loading bay. She checked the boot, ensuring that all the tofu were unloaded. She then slipped into her driver seat and drove down the road. She was smiling as she could finally get a some more sleep before get ready for school. Today was the school reopened day after the spring break.

Bunta twitched while working in the shop when he heard the sound of slamming door and running up the stairs, announced his girl coming home. He looked up at the clock, 4.30am. The girl had an hour of sleep to catch up. Tatsuki slumped into her bed immediately and dozed off.

An hour later, Tatsuki got up, gulped down a bottle of water and began to do some stretches. Then, she had a warm shower and dressed up in her spring uniform. A white shirt, red checked tie, red-black checked skirt that covered her knees and a red blazer. She tied up her long hair into a neat ponytail and grabbed her satchel school bag. Bunta was waited at the door with a lunchbox containing her breakfast.

"I'm going to school and you must be good and work hard ne. Oyaji," Tatsuki gave her father a big hug.

"Be careful and take care of yourself," Bunta replied with a gentle smile and saw her off.

He watched his only daughter slowly put on her nerdy spectacles and walked down the street. She had grown up and was so much resembling her mother or his beloved wife, Todo Shizuka. Tatsuki inherited all her mother's beauty and intelligence. At the age of eighteen, she was 1.73m tall, just an above average Japanese girl height.

Tatsuki got on the platform at 6.10am to catch the 6.12am train to Takasaki. Her school was the most expensive and prestigious school in Tokyo where she received a full scholarship for her 3-year high school. It was far and took her about one and half hour of traveling time every morning. However, this was the school where her parents attended and began their relationship. She was so used to the distance and always made a full used of her traveling time. She put on her headphones and read a chemistry textbook in her hand, while leaning against the wall of the cabin. She continued her journey on the Shinkansen, followed by walking to the school that was two hundred meters away from the station.

Seiki Academy was the best private school in Japan that located in its capital city, across the famous University of Tokyo. It was also well known for the most expensive school in Japan and beautiful award-winning architecture such as Seiki Hall and Five Flags Auditorium. The enrollment was so difficult that the acceptance rate was less than five percent. The school also offered scholarships for students with special talents. Known to most students in this school, there was a group of students who was the most popular and no one could mess up with. It consisted of five students with special identities and talents. Rumors were spreading about these five students. The first one was the student council president, Sakamoto Shin. The only son of a multinational corporation and the school owner. The second one was Hamasaki Asahi, the youngest son of financial tycoon in Japan and class 3-1 monitor. Next was Ikeda Haruka also from the same class. She was the only heir of a Japanese real estate mogul. Another one was Kuroki Miyu, the daughter of Japan biggest entertainment organization with Yakuza background. The last person was Fujiwara Tatsuki, the school top scholar, known as Tensai. She was the most beautiful girl in the group and full of talents. However, no one dared to approach her because of her introvert personality. They were the strongest student figures for current Seiki Academy. They had won many awards and competitions across national and international levels.

Tatsuki walked into the school, past the long row of expensive cars from the entrance. Most of the students were staying away from her path when they saw the nerdy looking girl. She was one of a few that came to school by public transportation. Some might despise her as they perceived her as the low-class student. Tatsuki could not be bothered by these students and just strolling through the campus. She met the other four best friends in their classroom.

"Wow, so cute!" Miyu exclaimed excitedly when she saw the Cinnamoroll lunchbox.

Tatsuki took out the matching chopsticks and slowly picked an Inari. She then kept her nerdy glasses. Asahi opened a bottle of fresh milk and put on her desk. Haruka joined them as soon as she put her bag at her desk. They were chatting away while the quiet girl was having her breakfast. It was their usual way of interactions with Tatsuki listening in silence.

"Emm... your piano recital is around the corner. Are you nervous?" Haruka asked.

"I couldn't get any tickets; do you have some spares?" Shin asked as soon as he sat down besides Tatsuki.

Tatsuki looked at her four childhood friends and let out a big smile. She searched her bag and took out an envelope. She took out four tickets and gave them to Shin to share among them.

"Do you know how hard to get a ticket? My mother didn't get enough to spare one for me," Miyu told her pianist friend.

"Actually, you can just come to my practice later," Tatsuki said.

"It's not the same. You're very stunning on stage. It's the only time that we can admire your true beauty," Asahi said in a low soft voice.

The other three were nodding their heads. Tatsuki finished her breakfast and looked out of the window. She then slowly laid her head on her arm and dozed off soon after her friends returned to their respective seats. The teachers knew well not to disturb her sleep.

Tokyo University, Faculty of Medicine

It was the second week of the school year. Takahashi Ryosuke was in his third year as medical student. It was a start for his clinical year and he just reported to Tokyo University Hospital where he would spend most of his time for the next two years. He was assigned to family medicine department with some of his classmates. It was not a busy day and he was just to observe the doctors attending to the patients.

He then went back to the campus for the elective class in the afternoon. He took his study very seriously during his second year when he lost someone so dearly to him. He swayed a big time but came back with a more suppressed personality. A warm and gentleman Ryosuke had faded since that incident. He seemed cold and reserved person when he returned to school after a month of absence. He fully occupied himself with schoolwork and racing. He left the campus late that evening.

The white Mazda RX7 Savanna FC3S slowly drove down the busy street in Tokyo. He was on his way to a pub in Roppongi. He had been hanging out in the entertainment club a few nights a week. Tonight, he was sitting at the corner table, drinking. It just like other nights when he ignored the attention from the females around him. He kept his pain and feelings for Kaori in the deepest part of his heart. He knew that she never wanted to see him living his life in vain. He had his dreams to pursue and he was determined to do it at his best. He ran his hands through his ruffled hair as he walked to his car. It was time to go home. His mind was occupied with the racing plan according to his theory, as he sped down the highway towards Maebashi. City in Gunma. His team, Red Suns, was going to check out at Mt. Akina and challenged the local team to a race.

The news of the battle at Akina on Saturday was spreading like a wildfire. Iketani was very anxious to find the local racer especially when he was injured. He was very skeptical about the Hachi-Roku that his boss told him earlier. However, he was now standing at the tofu's shop this afternoon after he exchanged some words with Takahashi Keisuke at his workplace. He asked the shop owner if he could do the race on Saturday. Bunta gave him a blank expression and told the young man that this was a kid stuff. Iketani tried to persuade him but the older man did not give any clear answers. Bunta was surprised to hear that his daughter had defeated someone recently. However, he had no idea how he could convince his little girl to go up there to have some fun. His daughter never enjoyed driving, instead she found it a chore.

Iketani came back to the shop again on Thursday. The shop was closed and he was so desperate to talk to the owner. Bunta was in a Bespoke black suit today. It was just one of a few occasions that he dressed up so formally in the designer suits. It was the premier of Luna's (Tatsuki's stage name) piano recitals this evening. He arrived in his white Mercedes Benz SL500 AMG at the New National Theatre in Shibuya. He met with a few friends before he was escorted to the backstage where his daughter was.

Tatsuki was in her elegant off shoulder white gown from Aint Couture, her own designer brand. Bunta gave her a big hug and checked on his daughter. She was just like a little Shizuka, reminding him as if his wife was still around. He knew his daughter was doing this on behalf of his wife, fulfilling the dreams that his wife was not able to complete. It was not her first performance but he never missed it. They had their photographs taken before Bunta left the room.

At the lobby, there were many well-known businessmen, politicians and celebrities hanging out before the show began. Sakamoto, Hamasaki, Ikeda and Kuroki were exchanging their conversations. It had been some time that the heads of the four wealthiest families met up. Their children were not joining them tonight as they got their tickets for Friday performance. They sat with Bunta in the middle row. It was a splendid performance which won a big applause from the audiences. Mrs. Ikeda and Mrs. Hamasaki were so delightful to see their favorite artist in person.

Tatsuki quickly changed into her simple T-shirt and jeans after her performance. She was too tired and sleepy. Bunta was waiting in his white sports car at the underground parking lot. The girl placed big bouquets of flowers and gifts in the boot before got into the car. She just dozed off as her father drove out of the parking.

It was Friday evening. Ryosuke accompanied his mother to the piano performance at the New National Theatre when his father had a last-minute work. Mrs. Takahashi was a big fan of Luna, while her son was not even interested in this kind of performance. Mrs. Takahashi was planning to introduce her son to her friend's daughter. She thought it was time for her son to begin a new relationship. Ryosuke was still keeping his cool composure and treated everyone politely with a distance.

On the other side of the lobby, the four heirs of the prominent families had just arrived. They drew attentions from the surrounding young men and women. The four were quickly escorted into the backstage to meet their friend. They were stunned by how alluring Tatsuki was in her lilac evening gown. The performance began shortly after the four teens got to their seats. Ryosuke, who was not interested in the performance, was caught staring at the artist on the stage the moment she walked out. His mother was smiling when she noticed her son's attention. He thought it would be a boring classic performance but it turned out otherwise. It was the first time in a year when his attention was drawn by someone who had no resemblance to Kaori. This pianist was beautiful and had a smile that could warm anyone's heart. Asahi gave his friend a big bouquet of roses after the performance. It was going to be a big news on tomorrow newspapers.

Tatsuki was still in her bed after her morning delivery. She had two performances in the afternoon and evening. Iketani came to the tofu shop again this morning to persuade Bunta to race tonight. He told Bunta that the race would be started at ten o'clock tonight and hoped that he would be there for the local racers. Bunta had no choice but to tell him that he might be going. He looked upwards, thinking of how to convince his girl to go to Akina tonight. The girl had performance and it would be a bit tight for her to go up there on time. However, the biggest issue was how to get his daughter to race tonight.

Tatsuki came down late that morning. She was wearing her most comfortable singlets and shorts, revealing her slender legs. Luckily, there were no customers at this moment. If not, his shop would be no longer a quiet shop anymore. She grabbed some quick bites from dining table before Bunta chased her back to her room. She came down at noon after a long shower. She was in her usual disguised, the nerdy glasses and a baseball cap.

"Do you think you can be home before ten?" Bunta asked his daughter suddenly.

Tatsuki looked up at her father while tying shoes lace, "Should be. Why?"

"There's a race tonight," he replied.

Tatsuki paused while her mind was already begun to speculate on her father's intentions. "Did someone ask you to race tonight?"

"It's a kid stuff." He added.

"Hmmm... kid stuff so you're asking your kid to settle it," she remarked.

"You've beaten him once," Bunta added.

"When?" Tatsuki exclaimed softly.

"How do I know? You're the one who do the delivery nowadays," he replied.

"Who's gonna remember that?" She whimpered.

"How about I grant you a wish if you defeat that RX7," he stated.

"Bye, Oyaji. Be good and smoke less," she waved and walked down the street without giving any clear answer.

"I can add quit smoking if you want," he mumbled to himself.

Mt. Akina, 9.30PM

The quiet mountain pass became alive tonight. The crowds filled every corner of the road. They were excited to watch tonight's battle between Akina racer and the famous Red Suns. While the Takahashi brothers were calmly waiting for the start, Iketani was anxiously looking down the road. He had no confidence that the Hachi-Roku would be coming up as the time past.

Tatsuki slowly walked towards her house from the train station fifteen minutes before ten o'clock. She saw her father standing at the door, waiting for her. It seemed that the old man wanted her to race. Bunta did not want to force her to go if she was not interested. The father and daughter were standing side by side in silence in front of their shop house.

"A wish? I can't think of anything at the moment and I don't even know if I have one," Tatsuki said in her plain expression.

"I just don't want to see the local racers lose to the outsiders. There is no one can do it. Their skills are ..." Bunta told his girl of what he observed. "Don't think too much. If you don't want to go, just go back to your room."

"How about three wishes unconditionally if... I defeat the RX7?" Tatsuki asked.

Bunta nodded and gave her a hug, "Just go and have some fun."

Tatsuki got into the car, looking at her father. Bunta took a quick glance at his watch, 9.55pm. He told her to get going before she was late for the battle. He watched the Toyota Hachi-Roku drove down the street. She reached the base of the pass at the starting time and was puzzled to see so many people hanging out around. She slowly drove up the pass, noticing that there were crowds at every turn that she passed. She did not know that she had caused a big commotion at the starting line up the mountain. As soon as she reached the top, there were men leading her car to lineup at the starting point. She took a deep breath before she got out of the car. She pulled down her cap and put on a black face mask before she faced with the group of men surrounding her car. Iketani was so disappointed to see a young girl exited the car instead of the shop owner. Everyone was looking at her with questions in their eyes.

"Where's your father?" Iketani asked the puzzled girl.

"So, I shouldn't be here!" Tatsuki mumbled annoyingly at their reactions. She was listening to their comments about her being here instead of her father.

Iketani felt bad about their reaction and comments after a while. He calmed down and began to ask her who was the driver helping out with delivery. Tatsuki nodded and replied that it had been her duty every morning for many years. He quickly apologized and thanked her at the same time for coming up.

"You're so young. What's your name?" Takahashi Keisuke asked after a long commotion on the other side.

The Red Suns were surprised when they saw a young girl exited the car. Ryosuke was wondering who was this girl. With the cap pulled low and a mask covered half of her face, none of them could see how she was looked like.

"Fujiwara Tatsuki," she replied after a long pause.

"I'm Takahashi Keisuke," he introduced himself.

"Can we start now? It's a bit late for me," she yawned as she was feeling sleepy and tired after a long day.

Keisuke almost laughed out loud at her words and yawning. She was the one who came up late and still dared to say such thing. The race began in a short time. Tatsuki took a deep breath before she approached the first turn. Her hands and legs were naturally maneuvered her car slid through the first turn. She smiled at the distance between her car and guardrail while she passed through. The crowds were surprised to see how good the Hachi-Roku was. She was following behind Keisuke, leaving almost no gap between them. She thought that she must overtake the car in front to defeat it. The Hachi-Roku sped up, entering the corner with her special technique, turning in at the corner and overtook the yellow car at the five consecutive hairpins. Keisuke was shocked when he was overtaken in the inside line. He could not understand how that car managed to turned it at that corner with no braking. He watched the Hachi-Roku disappeared into the street without stopping.

Tatsuki slowly parked the car in its lot. Her father was still waiting at the door. She did not know how long he was standings there. They then got into their shop house. The girl was telling her father that she wanted to go to the beach tomorrow. Bunta disagreed with her plan. He could not help to think how pervert he would be perceived in the eyes of the public, especially when his daughter was in swimsuit. However, he gave in to his daughter eventually.
