Disclaimer: I don't own Initial D; it is one of my favorite comics. I hope that my fanfic won't offend any Initial D's fans. I have created a female Takumi instead under the name of Tatsuki; I hope you will like them. This is a fanfic. All characters except for Initial D's characters are all imaginary characters. Most of the details are fictional and any similarities are coincidence.

Tatsuki drove Kaito's FD to Suzuki Autoshop in the morning. Bunta, Kaito and Masashi were all sitting at the table discussing what to do with the Hachi-Roku. Ryosuke and Tatsuki joined them with breakfast. They had breakfast together before Tatsuki walked over to her house car. She looked at it with a lot of feeling and memories replayed in her mind. It was her buddy and family over the years. She remembered a small Tatsuki sitting at the back seat, going out with her parents. That was the happiest moment of her life. This car was always there since she could remember. Her soft gaze was on the car as she walked through her memory lane. Bunta knew that she needed time to have a proper farewell to their house car, Trueno. This should be the best graduation celebration for her as well.

Tatsuki tapped the roof lightly before she turned around to meet the guys. She told Kaito to use the engine from their ZR department to resurrect this car. She had no intention of using this car in any future racing event. She just wanted to keep it and might drive around occasionally. Kaito noted her request with some plans in mind. He felt that the two Trueno should have a different setting but it must be set according her driving style. She left the cars to his disposal. She trusted him to work on all her cars. Over the past few months, Zyne Racing was getting more popular and their automotive products were featured on their race cars.

Bunta, Ryosuke and Tatsuki left the workshop before lunchtime. They had lunch at a restaurant in Shibukawa together. Tatsuki went straight to her bed after they got home. Bunta looked at Ryosuke for a while and they went out together. Bunta was sending his son-in-law home. The blue Impreza stopped at a three-story mansion in Maebashi.

Keisuke was delighted when he saw his brother got into the house. He followed Ryosuke into his bedroom. He had many questions to ask his brother. Ryosuke was very tired and not in the mood to talk about anything. He needed a good rest. Ryosuke told his brother that he would talk to him later. He then went into the bathroom. Keisuke slowly returned to his room, allowing his brother to get some rest.

Ryosuke had a good sleep throughout Sunday. He still had almost two weeks of summer break before the school reopened. He had a plan to visit Kaori for the last time and Project D disband party. He looked at the calendar, thinking about a good trip with Tatsuki. He wanted to have a trip or staycation with Tatsuki before both of them returned to their respective work.

Ryosuke got out of the house early this morning, heading to Shibukawa. Bunta shook his head when he saw the young man at his shophouse. His daughter was still in bed. Ryosuke was talking to Bunta about his plans for a trip with Tatsuki. Bunta knew that Tatsuki needed a good break. The two men were talking in the living room.

Tatsuki tossed on her bed as the sunlight seeped through the curtain. She was not so ready to get up. She slowly dragged her unawaken body down the stairs. She sat down next to Ryosuke in the living room. Ryosuke looked at his wife with adoration. He poured a glass of water for her. She listened to their conversation quietly. She was getting excited when Ryosuke asked where would she want to go for a short holiday. She looked at her father to see his expression, with her little puppy eyes. Bunta rubbed her head with a gentle smile. Tatsuki was on a cloud nine when Bunta told her that he would sponsor their Maldives trip. Ryosuke was confused as he did not know when the two Fujiwaras had decided on the destination. By the time he grasped their conversation, Tatsuki had already decided on the trip and was skipping upstairs to get shower.

Tatsuki came back in a pastel yellow dress after an hour. She urged Ryosuke to take her to Ginza to get some swimwear. His plan was just a short escape within Japan. However, he was delighted to see how happy Tatsuki was at this moment. The two lovers were heading to Aint Couture where he watched her choosing the lingerie and bikinis in her huge storeroom next to her office. He did not want to imagine how the trip would end. It should be a torturing vacation for him when he could not do what he desired. Those sexy little pieces were barely covered her beautiful body. Tatsuki was intentionally trying his patience. He finally realized that she was just a little teenage girl who also had her girly side. He shook his head when he saw how many swimwear she packed for this trip.

Ryosuke came home that night with Keisuke was waiting in the living room. The two brothers were chatting and drinking. Ryosuke did not reveal his relationship with Tatsuki, even though Keisuke was suspected. He gave his younger brother some suggestions on the offers Keisuke received. He knew that Keisuke was ready to shine on the professional stage. He even told Keisuke to talk to Kaito as he would be able to give some good advice. Keisuke then remembered that the blonde man had just won the Super GT championship for this year. They were drinking till almost midnight before they returned to their respective rooms.

Ryosuke dressed up in a formal suit and bought a bouquet of roses before he picked Tatsuki up. They were going to see Kaori this morning. Tatsuki stood a few steps behind from Ryosuke, as he had his words with Kaori. He told her about Project D, and updated his and Rin's life. He also bid his final farewell to her. He told her that he had finally found the person whom he loved and wanted to spend the rest of his life with. They left the cemetery.

Ryosuke brought Tatsuki to meet his parents for the first time. He felt that it was the time he should introduce her to them. Tatsuki looked at her beige knee length lace dress, unsure if it was appropriate. Ryosuke smiled and assured that she was good. He led her into a Chinese restaurant where his parents were already waiting. Tatsuki greeted his parents politely. Dr. Takahashi Kanae was surprised to see her favorite pianist. Dr. Takahashi Akihito nodded at the girl. Ryosuke pulled the chair for her. He introduced the girl to his parents as Fujiwara Tatsuki. Dr. Kanae was very friendly to Tatsuki, while Dr. Akihiro was quite reserved. His parents were happy to see their son moved on from his previous relationship. They were pleased with Tatsuki's dining etiquette and her well manners. The only thing that they were disappointed was her qualifications. Tatsuki did not continue her tertiary education but chose to work in the entertainment industry instead. Tatsuki did not reveal her real qualifications. She knew that if his parents ran a background check on her, they would discover that she already had her highest education in music arts and other fields. She knew that his family put a lot of emphasis on education, but she was not ready to tell anyone about it. She just wanted to be a normal person in their eyes, not a genius. Nevertheless, Ryosuke's parents did not object their relationship. They thought that his son was still young and his relationship might not last long.

Tatsuki sent the two elder couples off with Ryosuke after the lunch meeting. She was relieved that it went well. She knew that his father was not pleased about herself working in the entertainment industry. She could feel and knew that it was a normal thing for the family like his.

"You don't need to change yourself to please anyone. I just want you to be yourself and do what you enjoy the most," Ryosuke pulled her into his embrace as he told the girl.

"But...," Tatsuki frowned.

"You've done enough for me, Tsuki. Let me be the one who protects you from now on. I know how much your family try to live a simple, down-to-earth life and I don't want you to go against it just to get my parents' approval. I want them to accept you as who you are," he said firmly.

Tatsuki nodded with a smile. They left the restaurant, heading towards Akina. Tatsuki changed into her loungewear and began to do her thing. Ryosuke sat down on the sofa, reading his medical book.

It was the Project D disband party. Ryosuke chose a small cabin restaurant by Lake Akagi. He arrived shortly after Keisuke while the rest were already sitting at the table. Tatsuki drove her father's Impreza to Akagi as her Trueno was still in the workshop. She was the last to arrive. They were looking at the only girl in their team. She wore a black singlet with a blue maxi skirt today. She sat down at the only empty seat, across Keisuke.

"You're late," Keisuke said as soon as she sat down.

"Hmmm... Isn't it normal for guys to wait for a girl?" Tatsuki smiled at the blonde man.

Keisuke turned his head aside, avoiding her teasing smile. He knew she was beautiful today. It was not often to see her dressed in a feminine outfit. He looked at his brother at the other side of the table. Ryosuke was looking at the lake. Keisuke was still curious if his brother was going out with Tatsuki. He asked if he could have a race with her, as he never won a race against her. It had been a year since his first defeat. Tatsuki rejected him as she did not feel it was necessary. Fumihiro asked Tatsuki about her upcoming plans after Project D when she also received many offers from professional teams. Tatsuki shook her head as her reply to the offers. She told them that she would be focused on her singing career for the next few months. She invited them to her concert, together with the guys that they knew during the expedition. She said that it would be a good farewell as they would not be seeing one another again for a long time.

Tatsuki added that she had no plans to race anyone in the future unless it was necessary. She added that the only person she wanted to defeat was her father, but she was not sure if she could do it. Keisuke did not understand why she was so persistent about winning her father. He heard a lot about her father who was an unbeatable street racer. She sighed when she counted the number of times she was overtaken by her father on Akina. He was her father, mentor, rival and many more. She slowly drifted into her own world as she focused on the ice cream parfait in front of her.

She looked at Fumihiro after a long time, asking him on his answer for her offer a few months ago. The guys were excited about their drivers' offer and keen to continue their journey into the racing world. Tatsuki told the communicator of the team to see her at Zyne Corporation office next Monday for an interview. She then gave her name card to Matsumoto and Tomiguchi, offering them jobs. Matsumoto knew that Kaito owned Zyne Racing. However, he had his workshop to manage. Tatsuki told her mechanic directly what she wanted to do with him, a joint venture between ZR and his workshop. She asked him to take his time to consider. As for Tomiguchi, she offered him a position in ZR engineering team. Keisuke, who was high on alcohol during their conversation, did not know what he had missed. Kaito did send his invitation for Keisuke to join his team.

They were hanging out until late that night. Keisuke was drunk after hours of drinking. Ryosuke walked over to Tatsuki and put his jacket on her shoulder, as the temperature became colder. This was the first interaction between them today. Everyone was looking away, pretending not to see them.

"I think Keisuke had missed what he had been wanted to know," Fumihiro remarked when he saw Ryosuke sat down beside the girl.

"Let's keep him in the dark for now," Ryosuke said as he did not want to answer a long list of questions from his brother.

"How long have you two been together?" Fumihiro asked on behalf of the guys.

Tatsuki was smiling at the question and looked at Ryosuke. Ryosuke shrugged his shoulders, refusing to answer. Ryosuke and Tatsuki did not stay long and left Akagi. Fumihiro noticed that Matsumoto was not surprised by Ryosuke's and Tatsuki's relationship. So, his friend knew about it all along. Fumihiro slowly collated how the two were behaving during the expedition. He finally found out when they started being together.

Tatsuki came back to her warehouse and began to pack her luggage for a three nights Maldives trip. She put about ten bikinis in the bag while smiling mischievously. She then packed Ryosuke's luggage. She was ready for the trip. Ryosuke came up to the warehouse the next morning. Bunta arranged his chauffeur to send them to the airport.

Both Ryosuke and Tatsuki were in a white tee and jeans when they arrived at the airport. Ryosuke helped her with luggage and bag. She wore a cap and sunglasses to avoid being recognized by her fans. They sat together in the first-class cabin. Tatsuki made full use of her time with sketches as she leaned on Ryosuke's shoulder.

"Do you like my dad's present? This is our first honeymoon," Tatsuki said as she drew on the sketchbook.

"Hn, it's really very nice of him," Ryosuke agreed.

"And You! Still bring work to our honeymoon," he added.

"Just in case..." she replied softly.

She kept her work after a while and they were just talking to each other casually. They were walking around the airport during their transit. She was shopping for gifts. Bunta had given each of them a black card for their expenses before they left. He just followed her in and out of branded boutiques, carrying her shopping bags.

They arrived at the private resort after lunchtime. They were led to their private pool villa by the butler. The villa was linking to the private beach just a few steps away. Tatsuki was choosing the clothes for Ryosuke. She picked a white linen shirt and white Bermuda. She got herself a white two-piece bikini with a white cotton beach kimono. Ryosuke looked at his wife with a thought of locking her up in the room. They went for a light meal at the beach cafe. They spent the afternoon in the spa and watched sunset on the beach. Ryosuke was doing a good job as her photographer. Tatsuki then changed into a pastel blue dress for dinner. They were having their private dinner on the beach.

Tatsuki looked at her husband with seductive smile as she leaned against the wall, pulling him closer to her, as he kicked the door closed. Ryosuke closed their gap with a kiss. It started with just a gentle, lingering kiss and slowly getting more passionate as he carried her to the bed. They were lost in their desire for each other. Ryosuke pulled himself up from his wife after a period of making-out. His hand was still holding her hand as he sat by her side. Tatsuki soon sat up after she calmed down. They ended their first day in each other embrace.

At the Takahashi's residence, Keisuke was sitting in the living room waiting for his brother. He found that his brother was getting more secretive as the days went by. He seldom stayed home for the past month. He could not get in contact with his brother when the phone was off.

Keisuke decided to go out for a drive at late night. He needed a channel to clear his head. The yellow FD was speeding down the street aimlessly. He spotted a white RX7 and followed it. The two FD were heading towards an old pass. Kaito noticed a car behind him. He stopped along the road and got out of his car. He greeted Keisuke with a little surprise to see him when they were hardly seeing each other without Tatsuki.

Keisuke recalled his brother's suggestion to talk to Kaito about his racing career. He knew that Kaito had won a few major events this year. They had a round on Kiryu Pass after a short exchange. The two men were then ended up at a drink kiosk after that. Kaito exchanged some of his racing experience with Keisuke.

Tatsuki snuggled up to Ryosuke in the bed as the sun rose over the horizon. Ryosuke was awoke for some time. He laced his kisses from her forehead downward, whispering his love words to her. They were lazing in bed until Tatsuki pulled herself away from him. She walked to the bathroom. They had a few itineraries to do today. She planned a snorkeling and scuba diving for today and islands hopping for tomorrow. She packed her bag of diving suits and the essentials for today trip. She put on a baby blue bikini and was waiting for Ryosuke. She passed him a bottle of sunscreen for him to help her. Ryosuke took a deep breath, trying to keep calm before he gently applied the lotion on her velvet skin. Tatsuki was grinning at his priceless expression. His eyes looked so dangerously brightened with lust.

"Should we cancel today's trip..." he whispered in his low voice. "And just stay in bed..."

Tatsuki shook her head and slowly put on her colorful beach dress. She in turn applied the lotion on his masculine body, pinched his six-pack abdomen muscles.

"I hope that you keep this as it is... I love this..." she said softly with her fingers lingering over his abdomen.

Tatsuki quickly jumped out when she knew that he was going to punish her for seducing him. Ryosuke took a few deep breaths before he grabbed her bag and followed her out of the villa. They had their breakfast by the lush garden before heading to the yacht that was waiting for them.

Their honeymoon trip was coming to an end. They spent their last day walking on the beach and lazing in the villa. They played in the pool, watching sunset together. Tatsuki curled up on the lounger, writing something down in a notebook. Ryosuke, who was wearing only a pair of silk pants, sat down next to her as he watched her. She smiled at him and continued her writing. They just sitting down together for hours. Ryosuke slowly carried his sleeping wife to the bed, tucked her in the blanket. He kept her notebook and stationery in her bag. He laid on his side and admiring her peaceful face. His gaze grew brighter as he looked down at her white satin nightgown. She was so alluring to his eyes. He pulled the blanket all the way to her neck before he walked into the bathroom. He was telling himself to stay calm. It was just one year more to go.

Both Ryosuke and Tatsuki were home in Shibukawa after five days of vacation. She gave her father a long hug as she missed the old man so much. Bunta patted her back in return. He looked at the young man and his daughter with a smile. They were a little darker than before. Ryosuke thanked Bunta for the trip and got into his car. It was the time for him to return home.

Ryosuke was greeted by Keisuke as soon as he stepped into the house. His younger brother was following him to his room, wondering where had he been for the past week. Ryosuke sat down and slowly answered Keisuke's questions. Keisuke knew that he had a girlfriend from his parents. However, he was not sure who she was. Ryosuke was uploading the pictures of their trip on the laptop. Keisuke was bewildered when he saw the pictures of his brother and her on the screen.

"I didn't want to keep it from you... just that I'm not ready to answer your questions," Ryosuke told his brother.

"When did you two start?" Keisuke asked.

Ryosuke slowly turned the screen back to him as he never wanted anyone to see the rest of her pictures. He did not want to elaborate on his private life. He just told Keisuke that they went to the beach together. It was a great time together for him. Keisuke knew that his brother did not want to share his story with him. He asked if he could have a hang-out with them one day. Ryosuke nodded as his eyes were focused on the laptop screen. Keisuke shook his head when he noticed that his brother's attention was somewhere else. He excused himself back to his room shortly after.

Tatsuki returned to Sun Entertainment on Monday morning. She drove her pink S2000 to Roppongi office. She greeted her staffs on the way to the recording studio. She had a few new songs from her trip. Karen and Sierra were watching Tatsuki from the window. They were very impressed with her current form. Her voice was angelic and melodic.

Tatsuki walked out of the studio after she was satisfied with her three new songs. She had a short discussion with the two executives before she met up with her dancer team. The first session of practice began. Sierra was standing by the door as she watched her boss doing her dance practice. She passed her the tumbler at every break. Tatsuki took a lunch break after two hours.

Tatsuki sat down with the dancers and had lunch with them. They were casually chatting with the singer listening to their conversation. This was the first time that the dancers had seen Tatsuki's friendly side. She was a very professional and strict with the performance. Tatsuki told the team to take a good rest before the next session. She left the room after a while.

Tatsuki changed into a black t-shirt and jeans when she walked out of Roppongi office. She drove the S2000 to her penthouse before took a short walk to a nearby restaurant where she met with the Takahashi brothers. She entered the Chinese restaurant and was led by the waitress to the reserved private room. She leaned on the seat while waiting.

Keisuke entered the room shortly after her. He met with Tatsuki who was relaxing on her chair. She waved her hand at him. He suddenly became speechless and sat across her. Ryosuke walked in with a bouquet of peonies. He put it in her hand and kissed her cheek before he sat down. Tatsuki smiled and thanked him for the flowers. The food was served shortly after Ryosuke arrived. It was a normal view to Keisuke to see his brother attending to the girl. Every time they had a meal together, Ryosuke always took care of her first. He initiated a conversation with his brother while Tatsuki was concentrating on her food. She was picking out the bones from a piece of steamed fish and placed it in front of Ryosuke. She even served the guys a small bowl of soup to each of them. They were having a good time together before they moved to her penthouse.

Keisuke looked at the luxury penthouse in the middle of Roppongi. He followed the couple into their house. Tatsuki served them drinks before she went into a room. She came out with the souvenirs from their Maldives trip. Ryosuke pulled her to sit next to him. Keisuke got up and took a look at the panoramic view of Tokyo. This place had a very beautiful view of Tokyo. He finally knew that his brother had been staying here frequently. He also felt how happy his brother was whenever Tatsuki was around. Ryosuke had shown him how much affection he had for Tatsuki.

Keisuke sat down on the sofa. Ryosuke broke a news of his overseas studies to his brother. He had not told his parents yet. Keisuke was shocked, as he never expected Ryosuke to leave Japan. However, he knew that it was a great opportunity for his brother. The two brothers had an open heart talking while Tatsuki prepared a guest room for Keisuke. She then went to her room for a shower and went to sleep. Ryosuke looked up at the stairs and led his younger brother to the guest room. He then went to their room. He knew that Tatsuki was very tired after a long day. She had many concert preparations to be done before the actual event in November. He slipped into bed, pulled his wife into his arms before he fell asleep.

Tatsuki woke up at her usual time at four in the morning. She changed to her workout clothes and went straight to the gym. Ryosuke's hand felt the empty bed and continued his sleep. Tatsuki was running on the treadmill while she was singing. She came back at six o'clock. She prepared breakfast for them before she went to wake Ryosuke up.

Keisuke got up when his brother knocked on the door. He joined the couple at the dining table. He slowly understood why his brother was so head over heels for her. Their interaction was so synchronized with each other and they were just meant for each other. He was somehow envious of his brother being able to find his other half. Ryosuke gave her a kiss before she left for work. He then walked to the basement car park with Keisuke. Ryosuke was going to Tokyo University Hospital for his clinical shift. Keisuke drove his car to Gunma. He was going to look for Kaito.

Kaito looked at the phone, wondering who was calling him this early. He was surprised that it was from Keisuke. He gave the caller his address while he got into the bathroom. The yellow FD stopped in front of the house with white FD. He parked his car on the empty lot. Kaito opened the door and led him into his minimalist home. He put a cup of coffee on the small coffee table. Keisuke looked around the house. There was just a small coffee table and two chairs in the whole living area. There was a big bookshelf covering the entire wall on one side and a bay window overlooking the backyard. Kaito sat down on the other chair with a small kitchen at a corner.

"This is your house? Don't you think it's a little empty," Keisuke asked.

"I like it this way. Easy to clean," Kaito shrugged.

"There's no TV or any entertainment appliances," Keisuke remarked.

"I don't have time for that," Kaito replied, pointing at the only laptop lying on the bay window.

Kaito asked Keisuke for his intention of seeing him. Keisuke looked at this professional driver with a mixed feeling. He told Kaito about his dinner with his brother and Tatsuki. Kaito chuckled at his confused expression and tapped his shoulder. He told his new friend not to think too much about that couple. They were fine on their own and their relationship was not a secret to his family. His father had kept an eye on them since he knew about Ryosuke's presence. He suggested Keisuke to spend more time with himself, planning his future. Kaito said that pursuing a dream was not everything. He should plan for what he wanted in ten, twenty years from now. Keisuke felt that Kaito was more mature than himself. He never thought that far. The two men were talking until lunchtime. Kaito made a quick meal for both of them. They sat on the high chair at the counter, continuing their conversation while eating.

Kaito showed Keisuke his house. He did not have any friends and this blonde man was his first friend in his opinion. The backyard of his house was a beautiful Japanese garden that was done by Tatsuki recently. They sat at the small patio. Kaito then showed him the upper floor of the house. His bedroom was still in the minimalist style with just a king-sized bed in the middle and an attached bathroom on one side. There was a long balcony on the other side. The bathroom had a small door leading to his wardrobe that occupied the entire room. Tatsuki got her contractors to redesign his entire upper floor. Kaito told Keisuke that he was the brand ambassador for Tatsuki's fashion brands. Keisuke then recalled how he found this younger man so familiar. His face was seen in many upscale shopping centers.

Kaito told Keisuke that he was moving overseas at the end of this year. He asked Keisuke about ZR offer. Keisuke was not sure about where he should start his driving career. Kaito told him to meet him at ZR headquarter tomorrow for a series of tests before his interview. He added that ZR had its own selection program so the offer letter was just the initial ticket into his Zyne Racing team. He gave Keisuke a brief introduction of ZR career path. He must work hard for his racing career in Japan for the first few years. There was chance for him to get an overseas opportunity with a consistent performance. Keisuke nodded as it was his dreams to be able to shine in the international stage. Keisuke looked at the bookshelf full of automobile related books and mostly in English. He was not good with books, not mentioning in English. Kaito said that it was Tatsuki who put the emphasis on language and knowledge. So, everyone must learn languages when they joined Zyne Racing. She was also the one who discovered his interests in cars and gave him a stack of books on related topics. In addition, their father put him in his friends' workshops to learn about cars and driving. He could fully claim that he grew up in the automobile workshops. Without them, he would not be what he was now.

Tatsuki was wearing a little black dress and sat in the private lounge of Club San in Roppongi. It was Kaito's 21st birthday after midnight. She was throwing a surprise birthday party for her brother. Ryosuke came into the lounge, wearing a black shirt and pants. He pulled her onto his lap as he held her in his arms. The table was full of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. She ordered a few snacks for themselves. Keisuke walked in with Kyoko who he met at the entrance of the club. Kyoko was very nervous as she followed her crush into the room. She dressed up in a black thin striped short dress tonight. Keisuke found a seat at a corner sofa, away from the loving couple. He was in a black shirt and pants as told by his brother.

Tatsuki got up and went to Kyoko where they were chatting away with their girl talk. The two brothers were also engaged in their own conversation while waiting for the birthday boy. Kaito stood at the door in his black designer suit. Tatsuki walked over with a smile. She looked at the smart and handsome man in front of her and declared that the party had begun. She gave the birthday boy a glass of wine and asked him to order some food. At midnight, all lights went out with Ryosuke pushing a cart into their room. Kaito was smiling at his sister and friends in the room. He was so moved by Tatsuki's initiative to celebrate his birthday. She had missed his birthday all these years but she had given him the gift that he had been waiting for. He always wished that she could celebrate his birthday one day.

Tatsuki gave him a hug and teased him not to cry. Kaito smacked her forehead as a return. Tatsuki gave him a big box containing twenty-one boxes of presents. She also passed him a black box containing Bunta's gift for him. Ryosuke gave him a small present that he prepared. Keisuke and Kyoko were also prepared presents for Kaito. Tatsuki asked him to open her presents as she was looking forward to see his reaction.

Kaito was bewildered when he saw that big box was full of smaller boxes of gifts. Her gifts were labeled in numbers from 0 to 21. Tatsuki was smiling brightly at him. He took out the box labeled "0" and opened it. It was a miniature version of his white FD.

"You did it... how and when..." Kaito asked surprisingly.

"I knew that you would love it! I made it many years ago, can't remember when but I always forget to give it to you..." she replied.

"Can I open the rest at home?" Kaito asked as he knew how precious her presents were.

Tatsuki gave him an angry look and refused. She wanted to see his reaction. Kaito promised to open them when she was around. Tatsuki agreed after some negotiations. Kaito looked at the black velvet box and slowly opened it. That box contained a thick black leather bag with documents and a few small boxes of keys. Kaito knew what was inside just by a glance. He never thought that Bunta would give him something so valuable for a foster son.

"You're a Fujiwara and his son... and my brother so..." Tatsuki threw her arm over his shoulder.

"But..." Kaito was speechless when he discovered how the two Fujiwara thought of him.

He always thought that he was an outsider. However, both Bunta and Tatsuki had been seeing him as their family member all along. They were just having a kind of expressing issues.

"Dad said you're a grown up so you should take care of these yourself... I will also be taking care of mine when I turn 21 too." Tatsuki told Kaito.

"Thank you," Kaito said with sincere gratitude.

He could not imagine how his life would be without this girl. His life changed completely from that day that he met her. He might not have a very close relationship with the Fujiwara but they always were there when he needed. They gave him all the best things that he could ever ask for, many of them were in his interests. The adulthood present seemed too heavy in his hands now. Bunta gave him twenty percent of FW Group shares, numerous real estates in Japan and overseas, and some of his valuable collections. Besides those, Tatsuki also gave him some shares of the businesses she invested.

Ryosuke pulled his wife out from Kaito's arms after some time. Kaito was smiling at Ryosuke's jealousy. They stayed for another hour before they went separately. Tatsuki picked the box number 10 and gave to Kaito. It was the box with the key to the penthouse across her unit. She designed in his favorite minimalist style. He nodded and took out the keycard and key to his unit.

Keisuke and Kyoko got into their respective cars before they drove off. Keisuke recalled his conversation with Kaito that day at Kaito's house. He had been thinking if he should give himself and Kyoko a chance. He knew that he still liked her and she was too. He followed the black FD to Saitama and stopped behind her. Kyoko looked at her love with question when he followed her to her house. Keisuke asked her to get into his car for a talk. The yellow FD drove off as soon as Kyoko got in.

Keisuke stopped at the top of Mt. Akagi, the same place that he rejected her request months ago. They were standing at where they were at that time. Keisuke was saying something to Kyoko. Kyoko was listening to his words and picking up all her courage to look up at him. She did not know how long the time had passed but it seemed like eternity. Her tears of joy were flowing down as she wrapped her arms around his waist. She held the man that she loved tight, afraid that this was a dream. Keisuke stunned at her reaction and slowly wrapped his arms around her as a return.

Luna's World Tour was started tonight at Tokyo Dome. Bunta was sitting in the dressing room with his daughter. She was excited. Kaito and Ryosuke were outside at the VIP lounge with Tatsuki's best friends, Project D members and all the street racers that she met. Dr. Joshima came with his family. His daughter was very excited to see her idol in person. Ryosuke was talking to Rin and Joshima about his plans after this. Joshima wished Ryosuke all the best in his further studies. Rin had gone back to work and began his residency at Kanagawa Hospital.

Tatsuki walked into the VIP lounge with her father. She introduced Bunta to Joshima and Hoshino. She gave each of her childhood friends a hug. She had a brief chat with the guys around before she stopped at Joshima's daughter. She took a few photographs with the young girl and reminded her to study hard. She then walked to Ryosuke before she held his hand. They were just standing there, looking at each other for a long silence. Tatsuki left to prepare herself.

Sierra led all the VIP guests to their designated seats before the concert started. A three-hour long concert began with the latest show technology and the singer appeared on the center stage halfway through the first song. Tatsuki was singing and dancing for the first part of the concert, building the atmosphere to the highest point. The second part was more of her love song list with her audiences were singing along. She ended her concert with her favorite song from the first album, Simply Love.

Tatsuki threw herself into her father's arms as Bunta slowly stroked her back. She was too overwhelmed by the huge crowd of fans and audiences. Ryosuke gave her a bouquet of peonies before they left the backstage in a black limousine. Tatsuki led her husband into Fujiwara's Residence. This was the actual Fujiwara's house that was built when her parents got married. The house with butler and a few helpers. The house was well kept and maintained even though their masters were not staying.

Ryosuke made an effort to be at the backstage at every of her concerts in Tokyo and Yokohama. After a month, Tatsuki began her concert tour from Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto and other major cities in Japan. He stayed in their penthouse more often when he was on clinical duty at the hospital. He came back to the penthouse and went to the gym to do some workouts. He saw the list of tasks he should do in a day. This was written by Tatsuki to remind him that he should have a healthy lifestyle. He realized how convenient it was when Tatsuki was around. She did all the household chores and laundry. He began to wonder how she managed it when she still had work to do.

At the suite in Taipei, Tatsuki just showered and looked at the clock. It was almost midnight, but she wanted to hear his voice. She called Ryosuke and listened to the ringing tone.

"Moshi Moshi," Ryosuke quickly answered the phone.

He was almost asleep and was listening to the sweet voice that he had missed. Tatsuki knew that he must have been asleep so she just saying some words expressing her feelings for him. Ryosuke asked about her days while he updated her about his day. They two were talking to each other until her phone ran out of battery. Ryosuke sent her a text message and dozed off.

Their lives went on as it was supposed to be from days became weeks and then months. Both Ryosuke and Tatsuki were busy with their own lives. They still managed to drop emails and text messages daily, even though the replies were not received promptly.

Kaito had left Japan for United Kingdom in late December. Bunta sent his foster son and spent a week with the young man. He was visiting some old friends before he travelled to Tatsuki next destination. After Bunta's departure, Kaito began his Zyne Racing work with Hana at their new office in Kennington. They were occupied with their preparations for the British GT and rally racing events in the upcoming season.

Keisuke passed a series of tests and interviewed at Zyne Racing a month ago. He was surprised to meet Tatsuki at his final interview. The location of Zyne Racing was a mysterious one which located on the other side of Mt. Akagi. He had been hanging out with ZR since the day he signed his five years contract with them. There was a list of his schedule given by Hana, the executive director. He met with the drivers and trainees who they attended classes and training daily. Hana gave him a key to a house near the headquarter where he would be staying during his contract. There was a small housing estate provided by Zyne Racing. He hung out with Kyoko occasionally on his off-days. He also made his efforts to meet up with Ryosuke twice a month.

Ryosuke got into the penthouse after his long day at hospital. He had dinner with his classmates earlier after their shift. He looked at the calendar on the kitchen counter. There was one thing that he never checked out. He retrieved their official documents from the safe. As expected, Tatsuki's birthday was on 14th February, Valentine's Day. He gave Sierra a call to check on her whereabouts during that period of time. With her help, he made a surprise visit on her birthday.

This would be their first birthday celebration together since their marriage. It was a regret when he thought of how stupid he was last year. He really wanted to make it up to her. However, he could only be there for just a few hours as he had his final exam a few days later. He made all necessary arrangements with her father and her manager. They were very happy to help him out.

Weeks later, Ryosuke dropped by a small jewelry store to get the custom made a peony pendant. He then rushed to the Haneda airport and left for Sydney. After almost ten hours flight, he finally landed in Sydney. Cora, an American-Chinese executive, was waiting at the arrival gate. She stood straight, holding a placard with Takahashi Ryosuke name on it. Ryosuke walked over to the young lady who led him to the car. She updated her boss's husband with Tatsuki's work schedule for today. He had about an hour to decorate her suite before she returned from her interview. Cora told him that they had prepared all the items he requested. Ryosuke thanked her for her assistance.

Ryosuke walked into her president suite which was now filled with champagne-colored balloons. He checked the flowers, food, cake and thanked the staffs for their help. He kept his luggage in her bedroom and took a shower after a long flight.

Tatsuki entered her suite in the evening. She removed her stiletto heels and changed into the white bedroom slippers. She switched on the lights and could not stop smiling when she saw the decorations in the room. She walked in, stopped at the dining table full of her favorite food. She took a deep breath and held her tears when she thought that she was celebrating her birthday alone. Her father would only arrive tomorrow morning. Her love was so far away and busy with his exams. As she lost in her cast down, she felt someone wrapped his arms around her waist. She was struggling to get out of that embrace.

"Happy birthday my love," Ryosuke said as he held her tight in his arms.

Tatsuki turned around to look at the person behind her. Her heart was skipped a beat when she saw the man that she had been missing for the past few months. She just let her tears ran down as she buried her face in his chest. He scooped her up and carried her into the bathroom. He urged her to get a bath. Tatsuki smiled when she saw the warm bath he prepared for her. Ryosuke kissed her cheek and got out of the bathroom. He waited for her at the dining table. Tatsuki came out after some time in a white cotton dress. She sat down next to him but kept her head low. Ryosuke moved closer to her and placed a kiss on her lips. The kiss was slowly becoming more passionate with their longing for each other. He broke the kiss when she was almost out of breath. He caressed her cheek as he sweet talk with her. He fed her dinner. Tatsuki could not believe that he was with her at this moment. He gave her a small blue velvet box and bouquet of peonies. They were in each other's arms, dancing in their room.

"Happy birthday and valentine's, my sweetheart," he said.

"I thought I'd be spending today alone... thank you for being here with me. I love you, Ryo," she smiled and kissed him.

Tatsuki snuggled up against Ryosuke's chest as they sat on the sofa. They were chatting about anything under the sky with some kisses in between. He took a glance at his watch and led her to her bed. It was time to leave.

"One more year, Tsuki. I promise I will make you mine," he told his wife.

"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked.

"I got to go. See you in Boston," he said as he had a flight to catch.

"Can I send you to the airport?" she asked.

"Please don't... I might just take you with me," he replied with a smile.

"Thank you for everything. I love you, Ryo," she said as he tucked her into the bed.

Ryosuke kissed her forehead and switched off the lights. He pulled his small luggage out and closed the bedroom door behind. He kept the table and realized that she had not cut her birthday cake.

Tatsuki jumped out of bed when she remembered that she had not cut the cake. She rushed out of the bedroom and stopped at Ryosuke who was holding the cake.

"Let's finish the cake before you leave," she said.

She closed her eyes and made a wish. She blew the candles and cut the cake. They sat on the sofa. Tatsuki held a fork and slowly cut a small piece of cake. She was feeding him a few bites before she had her share. She sent him to the door and returned to her bed. She opened his present and was smiling. It was a very short reunion but it was enough for both of them.
