Takahashi's Residence

Ryosuke was called home by his parents right after his final exam. His parents learned about him missing his classes from one of his classmates. He sat in the living room, listening to his father's stern rebuke of his behavior. Dr. Akihiro was very angry at his unacceptable behavior. He never expected that his elder son would do anything like this, especially when he learned that he skipped school just to see his girlfriend. Dr. Akihiro told his son to stop seeing Tatsuki and had made a few prejudicing remarks about her. He even told him that he had someone for him. Someone who was compatible in every aspect to become his wife and a Takahashi. Ryosuke looked up at his father unbelievably. He chuckled in silence when he heard his father's words. He saw it coming but never expected it to happen so soon.

Ryosuke kneeled down in front of his parents and bowed politely. He got up and told them that he would never follow their arrangement. He got into his room and packed things that belonged to him in a luggage. He put all books that he borrowed from her library, her gifts and a laptop. He left the whole wardrobe untouched, even though those were from his wife. Dr. Kanae was asking anxiously when she saw what her son was doing. Ryosuke came down with a luggage and told his father that he was leaving. He then informed his parents that he had transferred his studies abroad and might return after his graduation. Dr. Akihiro slapped Ryosuke's face in his fit of anger. His mother was trying desperately to stop him from leaving. Ryosuke apologized and drove off. He could not believe that his parents had planned an arranged marriage for him. They both knew how he felt when that happened to Kaori years ago.

Ryosuke was driving down the highway, heading to see Keisuke. He was relieved when he thought about his impulsive decision that had saved his love life. After some time, both his parents and himself would cool down before they could talk things out. He stopped at Zyne Racing headquarter in Akagi. Ryosuke told Keisuke that he had brought forward his departure. He wished Keisuke all the best in his racing career. He left Keisuke his contact in America before he drove to Tokyo. Keisuke looked at the white FC disappeared into the street, wondering what happened. It just happened out of sudden. He felt that his brother was upset, frustrated and relieved at the same time.

Ryosuke sat down in the penthouse, recalling the event happened a few hours ago. It happened too fast that his first reaction was to get out of the house first. He just did not want to explain to his parents, knowing well that his father did not like Tatsuki. Once his father bore his prejudice, he would never change his perception. His father had found the daughter-in-law of his preference in just a few months. There was a high possibility that his father had someone in mind but just waiting to inform him. He was smiling despairingly at himself when he thought of the situation, he was currently in. He hoped that his father would not do anything silly to Tatsuki or her family. Fujiwara family was not a simple middle-class family as it seemed.

He never felt that he had made a right decision in his life when he took Tatsuki to the city office last year. That marriage certificate was his only guaranteed to prove his determination to be with her. He looked around the house, began to miss her presence. He slowly packed his luggage. Tatsuki told him that she had everything ready at their new house in Boston. He placed the books back in her library.

Ryosuke called Matsumoto to say goodbye before his departure. Next on his list was Rin. He met him in Kanagawa for dinner. They had a long chat. Rin could see that his kohai was in some troubles. They had a few drinks before they left. Ryosuke gave Bunta a call. He felt that he should at least let the old man know. Bunta told him that he would meet him in America next week.

Bunta sat in his Shinjuku office, looking at the busy streets below. He arranged his assistant to move all Tatsuki's books in her penthouse to her new home in Boston. He also instructed his assistant to take care of their things including Ryosuke's car while they were away. He was wrapping up his work before his moving overseas.

Kane Kou, a 24 years old top surgeon and professor at Harvard University, was waiting at the arrival hall for his new student. The student that was referred by his childhood friend that he had not seen for years. He looked at Ryosuke's picture in his hand. He walked over to a tall Asian man with a luggage.

"Hi, Takahashi. I'm Kane Kou. Nice to meet you," Kane introduced himself.

"Hi Dr. Kou. Nice meeting you too," Ryosuke replied.

"Just call me Kane. Keep that Dr. Kou at hospital," Kane grinned.

Ryosuke was surprised at how friendly the famous doctor was. He had heard a lot about him from Tatsuki but Kane's friendliness was unexpected when this surgeon was known for his strict personality. He followed the surgeon to his car. Kane drove to his townhouse before he showed Ryosuke the place. It was a quiet neighborhood with row of townhouses. Ryosuke pulled his luggage along as he walked from Kane's house. The next house was Asahi and Haruka's house. Ryosuke looked at the house next to theirs as he already figured out whose house was that. He entered his house with the keys that Tatsuki gave. Kane briefed Ryosuke about the contracted cleaner who took care of the house. Asahi and Haruka came in after their classes. They showed Ryosuke the house and asked if he had anything to add. Four of them then went out for dinner at nearby restaurant. Kane told his student to familiarize himself with the neighborhood for the first week. It was no hurry to report to university. He assured that everything had been taken care of.

Ryosuke walked around the house when he came back after dinner. He could not believe how he was going to live in this big house alone. The basement was a game room for hanging out. The first floor was the living area and garage. The second floor was the main living and dining area with a large outdoor area and patio garden. There were two bedrooms and a library on the third floor. Their bedroom was on the fourth floor, with a large walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. He opened the box on the dressing table. There were car keys and a wallet with cash and cards. He was so grateful for Tatsuki's dedication to him. She prepared and took care of everything for him. He could not wait for her to move in.

Ryosuke woke up next morning and walked around the neighborhood. He came back with a bag of breakfast. He went to the garage to check what she had prepared for him. There were two bicycles hanging on the wall. He saw a Honda racing bike at the corner. There were a white Mercedes Benz SL500 AMG and a white Lexus RX300. He then changed into casual clothes before riding the bicycle around the neighborhood. He rode the bicycle to the university which was just about twenty minutes away.

Ryosuke kept the bicycle in the garage and walked into the house when there were deliveries. He watched the guys carrying boxes up to the third floor. There were two men in the library, busy arranging the books on the shelves. They were Tatsuki's books from their Roppongi penthouse. He was speechless at the arrangement.

Tatsuki looked at her concert schedule in her hands. She was smiling brightly at one week breaks around mid-March. On the other hand, Bunta had just arrived in Boston a week after Ryosuke. His assistant was accompanied him to his new home, just next to where Ryosuke was living now.

Ryosuke walked over to the house next to his in surprise. He did not expect that Tatsuki's father would move to America as well. So, he must get used to her father's presence from now on. He had dinner with Bunta that evening. Bunta's house had a similar design to their house in Tokyo. They were casually sitting at the patio sofa, talking. Bunta told his son-in-law to give his parents some time to cool off. He believed that they would understand one day. He asked if Ryosuke wanted to go to UK to visit Kaito with him. Ryosuke shook his head as he wanted to explore the city before he reported to his school.

It was 14th March morning. Ryosuke had got out for a morning jog. Tatsuki stopped at the doorstep of her Boston home. She entered and locked the door. She checked the kitchen and fridge to see if there was anything she could make for themselves. She then checked the house before quietly walked into the master bedroom. She looked at the empty bed with disappointment. She wondered where could he be.

Ryosuke came back with his breakfast as usual. He entered the bathroom after he came home. Tatsuki was hiding in their large walk-in wardrobe. Ryosuke walked out with just a towel wrapped around his waist. He stood at the row of shirts as he was deciding what to wear. Tatsuki tiptoed quietly behind him and covered his eyes with her hands.

"Guess who?" Tatsuki said.

Ryosuke stunned for a second when he heard her voice. He turned around and bent over to kiss her.

"Surprise," she said after she regained her composure.

"Wait! You'd better get dressed. I... I wait outside," she quickly ran out of the room.

Tatsuki was standing at the bedroom, waiting for him to come out. Ryosuke put on a white sweater and a pair of beige pants. He wrapped his arms around her waist and held her in his embrace.

"You're the only person I left, Tsuki," Ryosuke said with a saddened voice.

"Ryo, you are not alone. You still have me and my family... my friends, your friends... you're still have many people around you. I know you must be very upset but we can work together to make your parents understand us," Tatsuki cupped his face as she looked into his saddened eyes.

"Happy birthday to my love," Tatsuki smiled.

"How long can you stay?" Ryosuke asked when he thought that she might leave after a few hours.

"Four days, three nights." Tatsuki replied.

Ryosuke turned her around, pressing her against the wall before he kissed her. He carried her back to their bedroom, continuing their kisses on the bed. Tatsuki looked up at his face in dazed and caught her breath. She got up to the bathroom for a shower after a long flight. Ryosuke sat up on the bed, ran his hand through his hair as he was calming himself down. The longer they were apart, the stronger his desire was. He did not know how many times he had dreamed of her, dreaming that he locked her in his bed.

Tatsuki came out after a while in a white sweater and short creamy tulle skirt. She led him downstairs for breakfast. She pulled a long face when she saw his breakfast bag on the table. He had been eating out every day. She made some quick breakfast for themselves. They went out for some groceries shopping at a supermarket. She invited her friends over for dinner to celebrate Ryosuke's birthday. Ryosuke sat at the bar counter, watching his wife busy with food preparation in the kitchen. She baked a coffee cake for him.

Ryosuke opened the door for Kane when the doorbell rang. Kane came with a bottle of wine in his hand and gave him a small box of present. Both men were sitting in the garden patio, talking. Tatsuki brought some snacks and wine for them. She exchanged a short conversation with her longtime friend. Kane was sharing with Ryosuke about some silly things that Tatsuki had done. They were laughing with a few glances at her.

Asahi and Haruka joined them in the evening. Haruka was helping Tatsuki in the kitchen, leaving the men in the garden. The two girls had so much things to catch up. They brought out the food to the dining table in the garden where all of them were eating and drinking. It was a very cozy party with just a few close friends.

Ryosuke was helping Tatsuki with the cleaning after their friends had left. They returned to their room with Tatsuki was busy preparing the bath for him. She pushed him into the bathroom while she prepared his pajamas. Ryosuke was leaning on the pillow as he read a book while waiting for her to join him on the bed. He was staring at his wife in her little nightgown. She sat down next to him and initiated a kiss.

"I didn't prepare any birthday presents for you... so I think I just wrapped myself up for you... do you think I'm the best present..." she whispered softly.

Ryosuke fixed his burning gazes on his wife and claimed her lips forcefully. He had almost lost his self-control as he continued. Tatsuki laid on the bed under him with a little puzzled when he just sat up suddenly. Ryosuke had already left into the bathroom, having a cold shower.

Tatsuki got up and was now standing in front of the large mirror in the wall-in wardrobe. She looked at how messed up she was. There were marks everywhere. She got a tub of ointment from the vanity drawer and began to apply it on those marks. Ryosuke came up behind and helped applying the ointment on her back. He put a satin nightshirt over his wife and carried her to the bed.

"You're the best birthday present I ever had," he kissed her shoulder and slept.

Ryosuke woke up with Tatsuki in his arms. She was still sounding asleep. His hands were naughtily lacing on her waist. She shifted in the bed and turned around cuddling herself in his chest. Ryosuke held his breath, trying to calm himself down. She felt how tensed up he was holding her now. She intentionally snuggled up to his chest.

"Tatsuki!" Ryosuke muttered under his breath.

Ryosuke clenched his fists tightly as his wife was teasing him back. Since they started the make out on her birthday, he was on the verge of crossing their line. His desire for her was increasing and he knew how demanding he would be once he had really tasted her. She was very sweet and so alluring that he wanted to lock her in his bed. Tatsuki gave him a kiss and got out of the bed. Ryosuke sat up and calmed himself down.

Tatsuki came out after a good shower, wearing a bathrobe. She checked the marks at the mirror. She smiled at the faded marks on her skin. She slowly applied the ointment again with Ryosuke stood behind her and helped her applying it on her back.

"So... do you like my present?" Tatsuki asked.

"I love it very much," he replied. "So, what's your plan for today?"

"Stay home and lazing around," she said and asked what she should wear at home.

Ryosuke shook his head and walked into the bathroom. Tatsuki turned to her row of clothes. She chose a lilac color wide neck t-shirt with a white mini skirt. She then sat on the bed waiting for her husband to get ready. He sighed at her outfit that was meant to test his limits on endurance. They were in the kitchen, making breakfast. She stopped at the library after that. They spent time together in there. She was sketching her new designs on the drawing block. Ryosuke was reading book. He could not resist to look at her, especially her long slender legs. After some torment moments, he walked over to her. He placed her on his lap and held her in his arms. He looked down on her shoulder, surprised by the vanishing marks.

"What cream was that?" he asked when he could not see any kiss marks on her neck, collar bones and shoulder.

"It's one of my medications," she answered while her hand was still drawing.

"Actually... I have a laboratory in Akagi where I did some medication production," she added with some uncertainties.

"What else are you, my dear wife? A musician, a designer, an entrepreneur, now a pharmaceutical doctor and what else?" Ryosuke asked as he had no idea who he married to.

"Can I don't answer..." she paused as she did not know how many things she had done in the past.

"So, I think I should stay home and be a househusband and let you continue your careers," he said.

"No! You can't. My dream is early retirement and lazing around," she objected in a firmed voice.

"Okay, don't get so worked up, baby. I won't do that. My priority now is your happiness," he said.

"Do you think we should have a gym at home?" Tatsuki asked suddenly.

"Up to you, but we may not have enough guest rooms for Dad and Kaito," he commented.

"Dad has his own house, just next to ours. Kaito... his house is just besides his," she said.

Ryosuke smacked his forehead when he realized that this row of townhouses was belonging to her family and friends. He had forgotten that Bunta was staying just next to him. He looked at his love focusing on her drawings. His mind had a sudden naughty idea. He pulled her into his arms and she just leaned on him comfortably.

"Oh! We're supposed to watch Kaito race," Ryosuke smirked as he got up and walked out of the library.

Tatsuki then followed him into the living room at the basement after she kept her work. She watched the race on the large television screen quietly. They spent their afternoon watching a British GT race together.

"How many kids do you want?" Tatsuki asked suddenly.

"One," Ryosuke looked at her skeptically when he heard her question.

"You just want one?" she asked innocently with disappointment.

"No, no, no... as many as you want," he pacified her when he saw her tears clouding her eyes.

"Hn! I love you, Ryo," she said with a smile, before she ran up to their room.

Ryosuke wrapped his head in his hands as he was confused by her emotions and words. He thought that he must have a good talk with his wife about their family planning.

Ryosuke looked at the missed calls in his phone. There were from Keisuke, his mother and friends. He called Keisuke and had a little conversation. Keisuke asked why he did not answer his calls. He was worried when he could not get hold of his brother. Ryosuke told his younger brother that Tatsuki was around. Keisuke sulked at his decreasing importance to his brother.

"Kaito came in third in his first race," Tatsuki told her husband.

"Hi, Keisuke," she said into the phone with a happy voice.

Ryosuke looked at his wife who was already changed into a knee length shirt dress. She gestured him to get change too. She cleaned the sofa when he left. She then made Japanese dinner for themselves. Ryosuke came down shortly after dinner was ready. He looked at the presents on the table, realizing that he had not opened them. Kane gave him a pair of customized cuff links with his initials on them. Asahi gave him a branded leather backpack while Haruka got a pair of sunglasses. Shin and Miyu also sent him their presents for him. They got a latest laptop and a Rolex watch for him. Tatsuki pushed a black velvet box to him.

"From me," Tatsuki said.

Ryosuke nodded and opened it. He looked at the title deeds of this house with his name as a co-owner. The next piece of paper was a document of 20% shares in Takato Hospital in Gunma Prefecture. He never heard of this hospital, guessing that it was a new hospital.

"This is too much," he pushed the document back to his wife.

Tatsuki sat back and told him that Kane would be the one to talk to him about Takato Medical Group. She emphasized that nothing was too much when they were husband and wife. She placed a blue A4 envelope on the table, telling him that this was from her father. She warned him that turning down Bunta's present would offend the old man.

"Just get used to it. There's no way that he will get something cheap and simple for you. To him, anything that he can order his assistant to prepare is easy and simple, especially real estate properties," Tatsuki explained to her husband.

Ryosuke just realized what kind of family and her circle of friends she had. She even told him that her father would just pick anything in his projects as a gift. She hoped he would understand why she had a number of properties at this age. Last gift was from Kaito. Tatsuki assured him that this should be a very normal birthday present. He looked up at his wife, asking if this was normal. It was a car, brand new Honda NSX-R.

"So, you call this normal?" Ryosuke asked.

"Very normal, Kaito is a professional driver who owns Zyne Racing so giving you a sports car is normal. I don't think he has time to find a present for you. He's too busy with his engineering courses and racing events," she replied.

So, he would be expected to receive a car for his birthday each year. He recalled her garage in Akina, there were cars that she once mentioned they were her presents from uncles. She found that it was normal, but not for him. He asked what she usually received as a present. She looked at him before she answered. She always received properties and cars for birthday. As for other occasions like Christmas, New Years and others, she would get cash from her father and her four friends' parents. She asked him if he was aware who her friends were. Ryosuke nodded, briefly knew they were the heirs of the four prominent families in Japan. She told him not to be too stressed or bothered about them. They were friends with no hidden agenda. Their friendships were extended from their parents and would continue to our next generation. Ryosuke understood what she meant.

Ryosuke began his senior year soon after Tatsuki left. He was assigned directly under Dr. Kane Kou. Kane was a very strict and serious professor at the hospital. He gave Ryosuke a lot of assignments and reports to do every day. Ryosuke was completely occupied with his studies and clinical practice. With the amount of report writings and researches, he buried himself in the library of his house. He was hardly hanging out with new friends at the hospital. Kane and Asahi hung out with him occasionally.

Tatsuki concerts were still ongoing in Europe and UK. She visited Kaito and watched one of his races. The championship was very competitive and they were very satisfied with the results so far. Kaito was very busy too. He had to juggle between his career and studies. After two months around Europe, she finally on the way to USA. The news of her arrival in New York was on the media. She disguised and sneaked out of the hotel before getting into a car driven by her assistant, Cora.

Tatsuki came into the house in the afternoon, preparing dinner for Ryosuke. She sat in the dining room, waiting from six o'clock. At eight, she sat down in the garden. There was no sign of her husband coming home. Ryosuke was still busy in Emergency Room (ER). Tatsuki was now walking around the house at 10pm. She put the food in the warmer and got a bath. Ryosuke left the ER at 11pm and rode the bicycle home. He was surprised to see lights in his house. He paced up to see who was in the house. He saw his wife sleeping on dining table in her white pajamas.

"Tsuki, I'm back," he said as he scooped her up in his arms.

"Have you eaten?" Tatsuki asked as her eyes still closed.

"It's ok. I'm not hungry," he replied.

Tatsuki struggled to get on her feet. She told him to take a shower first. She had made dinner for him. He knew that she had not eaten anything too. He felt guilty about coming home late. He sat down at dining table in just fifteen minutes. They had their dinner at midnight. He shared with her on his days at the hospital. He had a day off today but he still had some research to be done. Tatsuki nodded, understanding his schedule. They were just lying in bed chatting with Tatsuki fell asleep first. He felt he was very lucky to have her as his wife, companion and life partner. Her first question was always about his wellbeing. She never threw tantrums when he was late.

Ryosuke and Tatsuki woke up at eight in the morning. She asked him to join her in the gym for morning workouts. She checked his six-pack abdominal muscles and smiled satisfactory. He assured her that he did workouts regularly. She went to prepare breakfast while he took a shower. They were spending time together in the library after breakfast. She put her new CD in the player. She just released a new album a month ago. It was her fourth album.

At 2pm, Kane was standing outside Ryosuke's house with lunch. He was startled when he saw a young girl open the door. He had completely forgotten about her concert the day after tomorrow. She just finished setting up the table. She told her friend-cum-Sempai to call Ryosuke while she put his lunch on the plate. Three of them were having good time at lunch. Kane stayed for dinner while he had a lot to catch up with Tatsuki. They had no time to discuss with the new hospital that they were just acquired.

The dinner was soon becoming a work discussion when Kane told the couple of what were some issues on the newly acquired hospital. Currently, the hospital had only very few patients so Kane suggested to transfer them to other hospitals. Tatsuki wanted to rebuild part of it and upgrade all the equipment. She also wanted to retrain all the staffs. It would take at least three years for the rebuilding. As for the staffs, she could assign them to work with other hospitals during this transition period. Takato Medical Group consisted of a medical center in Tokyo and Takato General Hospital (TGH) located in Gunma Prefecture. The hospital had about 800-1000 beds with full facilities. It would also have the most advanced medical equipment and technology. Kane wanted this hospital to provide medical training to both doctors and staffs. So, Tatsuki had integrated her research institute within the hospital premises. Ryosuke was astonished by just listening to their discussions. He had some doubts about Tatsuki medical knowledge and just realized that she had a medical license too. Kane explained to Ryosuke that she was hardly involved with any medical treatment due to her personal reasons. Kane also told him that this hospital would be their next home when they returned to Japan. Ryosuke did not agree on his shares when he did not even pay for it. Tatsuki smiled and told him to work hard and paid her back with interest. Kane was laughing at her words. Ryosuke accepted with no other choice. He knew that his wife had planned for his future especially when he chose to become a surgeon.

Tatsuki gave them their concert passes before Kane returned to his house. She told Ryosuke that it was fine if he could not come. She knew that he had been working on shifts and was very busy. They stayed together for another night before she left the next morning.

He looked at breakfast and lunch on the kitchen counter. He put the lunchboxes in his backpack. He rode his bicycle to the hospital this morning. Kane looked at his student who was a little blue today. Ryosuke put a box of Katsu sandwiches and a tumbler of coffee on the table for his professor. Kane gestured Ryosuke to sit down and they had breakfast together.

"I really missed her food," Kane said.

Ryosuke nodded, agreeing to his remarks. It was an unusual sight to see Professor Kane sitting with his student. Most of the medical students and hospital staff were very scared of him. He was well-known for his stern and blunt remarks.

Kane and Ryosuke were working around the clock for almost 24 hours since yesterday. They had a rare cardiovascular surgery and two consecutive emergency surgeries. They were very exhausted by the time they walked out of the operation theater.

Kane spoke to the staff at the office that they had to reschedule their shifts. He drove Ryosuke home and told him that he would drop by around 2pm. Ryosuke looked at his mentor in confusion. Kane slapped Ryosuke's head before telling him that they were going to Tatsuki's concert this evening.

"Remember, you should be there for her. We can just sleep in her dressing room. What she wants is just your presence," Kane told the man.

Ryosuke nodded. He realized that he just made the same mistake again. His mind was still very empty after long hours of work and sleep deprivation. He slumped himself on the bed immediately, not forgetting to set alarm clock.

Ryosuke drove the new NSX to New York Stadium with Kane. Kane made full use of his time, sleeping in the car. They arrived at the stadium two hours before the concert. The place was full of crowd and fans. He showed the security guard their pass before they were directed to the staff parking lots. Both men walked into the backstage with Cora leading them to the dressing room. Tatsuki was not in there. She was still busy with testing of equipment. Cora brought some food for the two men.

Tatsuki threw herself in Ryosuke's arms immediately after she came into the room. She could see his dark circles under his eyes, knowing that he must be very tired. She asked him to get a nap on the sofa before dinner. Kane looked at the couple's intimacy with no spare thought for him.

"Thank you for bringing him here, Sempai," she smiled at her Sempai.

"I thought you would be an ungrateful brat," Kane teased.

She then turned to her stylist who was waiting to dress her up in her first outfit. Kane watched her concert at his VIP seat while Ryosuke was still asleep in the room. Tatsuki asked Kane on their next shift schedule. They decided to stayed in New York for a night. Cora arranged a room for him.

A month after her USA concerts, Tatsuki was on her last leg in Japan. She had Yokohama and Tokyo concerts before the last show at Saitama Super Arena.

Tatsuki met Keisuke and Kyoko after her last concert ended. They had supper together at one of the 24-hour cafe in the city. She was happy to see them together. Kyoko was blissfully happy with her crush. Keisuke had grown up and was more mature than before. Tatsuki told the couple that she was leaving in a few months and would be staying aboard for a number of years. Keisuke was not surprised as he knew that she was staying with his brother. He noticed a diamond ring on her ring finger, knowing that her relationship with his brother was very stable. He even asked her to take care of his brother. Tatsuki gave her blessing to the couple.

Tatsuki returned to her office in Shinjuku after a week of rest. She was standing by the large glass panels of the 89th floor of CM Group. One of skyscrapers of Twin Shinjuku that just beside FW Group. She bought it to house all her businesses in just one building. The top nine floors were assigned as office and residential areas for each of her partnerships. She had a long list of meetings to attend for these few weeks. She looked at Zyne Corporation CEO, Kayla, who just came in with the agenda for meetings. She listened to Kayla briefing before she walked to the meeting room with her following behind.

Tatsuki and Bunta were sitting at the dinner table in the evening. Bunta noticed her tiredness after a long day at work. They were just talking about their day and plans after dinner. With the plan to live aboard for the next few years, both of them were busy with their necessary arrangements.

After three weeks in the office, Tatsuki began to wrapped up her work starting with Yokohama project. She had all her executive assistants in charged of all important companies and department of Zyne Corporation.

Zyne Corporation was her company that managed all her investments in other companies. Kayla was CEO of Zyne Corporation, assisted her with the management from the past year. The main business of Zyne Corporation was healthcare industry and Motorsport. Takato Medical Group was initiated by Kane and Tatsuki, roping in Kaito and Ryosuke. Kane and Ryosuke would be managing the medical center and hospitals. While Tatsuki was in-charge of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies. Kaito was fully taking care of Motorsport section and automotive parts. She felt how fortunate she was to have a number of trusted assistants who had been working with her. All her assistants knew that she preferred to work remotely. After she had done all the arrangements, she was heading back to Gunma with Kayla. They dropped by the construction site of TGH in Shibukawa area the next day. They were inspecting and monitoring the construction progress. Tatsuki was very happy with the progress so far.

Tatsuki drove to her personal Zeal laboratory and research institution in Akagi. It had been almost a year since her last visit. She met up with her Zeal lab assistant, Rein and Kin. They had a long discussion about the future plans for this institution and some issues. She arranged Kin to stationed in Tokyo office overseeing the Vera cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. After that, she went straight into her laboratory to work on existing and new products.

It had been a month since Ryosuke heard from his wife. She seemed to be missing in action for a long time. He was getting worried about her missing. Bunta told his son-in-law that Tatsuki should be in her laboratory. It would take quite some time before she stepped out of the lab. He then remembered that she was a pharmaceutical doctor.

After six weeks in the lab, Tatsuki finally came out of the lab. She drove the S2000 to Mt. Akagi this evening. She was standing at Ryosuke's secret place on Akagi. She missed him so badly. The memories of Ryosuke were replaying as she stayed on the pass. She had one last thing in mind before she left Japan.

Tatsuki went to Gunma Hospital to see Dr. Kanae, Ryosuke's mother. The older woman was surprised when Tatsuki contacted her earlier. She looked at the beautiful girl in front of her, noticing a simple diamond ring on her ring finger. They had their first open heart conversation together. Tatsuki told Dr. Kanae that she was leaving next week and would be staying with Ryosuke until he completed his studies. It was the first time Dr. Kanae knew Tatsuki in person with no prejudices. She slowly understood why her son had chosen this girl. She trusted Ryosuke to her and gave her blessing. Tatsuki gave her a hug before she left.

Dr. Kanae sat in her office, recalling her conversation with Tatsuki. She knew that Tatsuki was a very nice person. The girl had everything that was suitable for her son, except her education. The way Tatsuki presented herself in front of her showed how well she was brought up by her family. She missed Ryosuke since the day he left. Her house was empty without her sons. Keisuke was too busy with his racing career and traveled a lot. She felt that she should get to know more about Tatsuki.

Tatsuki returned to her Akina cottage after her meeting with Dr. Kanae. She walked around and spending her time at the cottage for a few days. She drove up and down Mt. Akina with her resurrected Panda Trueno. It had been almost a year since her last ride here. She visited her mother to update her life. She promised her mother that she would be coming back as Akina was her home. Bunta joined his daughter at the cemetery.
