The Keyblade Knight

Traye always felt something was messing in his live but he couldn't put his finger on it he just has a feeling he was meant to do more with his nineteen years on this planet.

Traye was sitting on a pier looking out to the ocean, he wore a simple green tshirt, white shorts with wave patterns on the sides on his feet he wore black sandals Traye wasn't exceptionally tall standing at five feet seven inches he had short hair spiked up at the front, Dark almond eyes and had a pretty muscular build broad shoulders, big legs and calves.

Traye gave a heavy sigh because looking at his phone seven forty five PM "time to head home" he got in to his black ford pickup and went home. as he pulled in to his driveway he looked out his window gazing up at his house it was a modest single floor house more than enough for a single guy.

Traye grabbed his keys from the ignition, locked the door and heading to his front door as he put the key into the door lock he stopped as he heard a faint but very noticeable voice 'The door is open this world has been connected'. Getting a shiver up his spine he quickly opened the door and went inside breathing out a sigh of relief.

Traye took off his shoes and walked to his kitchen beginning to make himself a ham and cheese sandwich before sitting down to watch a bit of TV before heading to bed he had a strange feeling in his gut something bad was going to happen just as his eyes were about to close he heard someone scream followed by more screams.

Jolting up out of bed he grabbed a metal bat before slowly walking down the stairs every inch of his body was wound tight ready to strike he slowly went to his door before reaching his hand to the handle and peaking outside what he saw made him drop his bat on the floor with a loud clang! sound.

He couldn't believe what he was seeing his entire neighborhood was running for their lives from creatures as black as night with glowing yellow eyes they had big heads with two long antennae, they were pretty short about the height of his knee they had what looked like sharp claws "what the hell?" Traye said to himself watching as one of these creatures caught up to one his neighbors her name was Ella she screamed and covered head with her face.

Trayes body moved on its own he grabbed his bat and charged in front of the monster swing his bat as hard as we could at the black monstrosity but to his horror is passed right through it the creature swatted him away knocking him on his back as his picked his head up off the ground he heard Ella shriek again his head snapping up he watched in horror as the creature grabbed her the light in her eyes faded as a glowing heart rose from her chest and went inside the monster as it did the monster started to change it rose upright and a helmet appeared over its face.

Traye couldn't remember what happened next he rose to his feet thrusting his hand out a one handed blade appeared in his left hand the blade had a green handle that curled on the sides of the hilt the blade itself was silver with a shape outside edge, finally the end of blade was shaped like the end of a key, in his right hand was a green tower shield with black trim on the front there was three large circles that melded into each other.

Traye briefly start at the sword and shield before hardening his gaze on the monster without hesitation he swung his sword at the creature it shook briefly before dodging his strike before returning with one of its own, Traye put up his shield to block the force of the impact made is slide back a little before his dug his feet in, with all his strength he roared and pushed the enemy back when he felt it lose its balanced he shifted his weight back briefly before slamming his shield into the enemy hard knocking it on its back.

Seeing an opening he charged at the enemy twisting his sword in his hand drove the sword into the monsters chest it struggled for a second before it stopped moving and exploded into black mist as it did Elle's heart rose up in the air, Traye tried to grab it but it disappeared Traye fell to his knees with tears in his eyes but he didn't have time to grieve he heard another scream this one of a little girl.

Steeling himself he ran to where he heard the plea for help he turn a corner and saw a little girl crying and backing away from another monster, Traye charged forward and without mercy he cut the creature in half seeing the area was clear he got down on one knee and offered his hand to the girl "are you alright" she nodded crying and gave him a hug" Thank you" she voiced softly he nodded picking her up he heard what he assumed to be the girls mother and father running up to him.

"Sena!" the girl jumped out of my arms and ran to them hugging them after they embraced they looked at me "Thank you" they both mouthed Traye nodded "your welcome now go it isn't safe I will hold them off as best as I can" Traye said trying to be brave when in truth he was absolutely terrified, he ran to see who else he could help he managed to help three more people when the ground shook and an absolutely gargantuan shadow monster rose up from the ground Traye gasped his entire body trembling "i cant fight this thing can I?"

Trayes eyes shot to a few feet in front of the monster a young boy was frozen in fear tears in his eyes Trayes body moved on its own rushing to protect the young boy blocking a giant black fist Traye screamed in pain as he felt his arm on the verge of breaking "RUN KID ILL HOLD IT OFF!" the boy couldn't move "RUUUUUNN!" he screamed at he boy again breaking the boy out his trance as he quickly shuffled away.

Traye covered in sweat couldn't evade as a second giant hand grabbed him and begun to squeeze "AGGHHHH!" he scream as felt is ribs beginning to crack and his vision going black in a last ditch effort to survive he used whatever strength he had to pry open the hand enough to cut it off with his sword before falling into a pool of darkness.
