The Keyblade Knight
Aqua watched Traye sleep on her lap she didn't want to move and make him wake up her looked exhausted not that she wasnt but she was keyblade master she had to protect him, he looked pretty new to using a keyblade she wondered what his story was and how he got to the realm of darkness but all in all she was just happy she wasn't alone anymore hear eyes started to grow heavy she nearly passed out a few times eventually she felt Traye stir he groaned as he opened his eyes and his dark brown orbs stared into her sapphire ones she smiled down at him and he gave her a grin
"thanks again for saving me Aqua" she smiles " your welcome Traye i am just glad to not be alone in this place anymore" finally her exhaustion caught up to her and she collapsed on Traye who sat up and held her in his arms "you must be exhausted you go ahead and rest ill keep watch" she give a soft affirming moan before her eyes closed completely.
Traye looked down at Aqua also glad not to be alone he was so glad when she came to help him he was ready to give up even though they just met he felt he could trust her it was almost as if he could feel her pure heart resonate with his.
Traye gently shifted his body so she could lay her head on his lap how long has she been here by herself he wonders to himself looking down at her sleeping face briefly blushing before turning away 'come on man now is not the time to check her out' he turned his attention to his surroundings he was in what looked to be a run down medieval style house looking out the window he saw a destroyed castle in the distance, Traye didn't know how long had passed before Aqua woke up but when she did she looked much better she gave a soft yawn looking around she blushed as she realized she was laying in Trayes lap shooting up a little too fast her and Traye's head smacked together "Owww!" they both said rubbing their foreheads before turning to each and letting out a giggle she then got up and offered her hand to him which he accepted
"so Aqua where are we all i remember is fighting those shadows and trying to protect my neighbors before a giant shadow grabbed me and started to crush me i cut its hand off and i fell then everything went black after that" she nodded before putting a finger and thumb to her chin "well its a long story Traye first off those shadows are what we call heartless they consume worlds and bring them here the realm of darkness"
Traye nodded "so that means my world is-"
"consumed by darkness I'm sorry Traye" she confirmed grimly
Traye clenches his fist now knowing he didn't manage to save anyone in the end "i see what about you Aqua he did you get here that is if you don't mind telling me I know we just met" he scratched the back of his head awkwardly which Aqua found cute
"thats a long story Traye but seeing as we have seemingly endless amounts of time i dont mind sharing we need to be able to trust each other" Aqua went on to explain from the very beginning from her younger years being trained by master Eraqus, the mastery exam, her becoming a keyblade master finally to the death her master and the defeat of her and her friends in the keyblade graveyard tearing up at the end talking about Terra and Ventus's fate.
Traye placed a hand on hers making her look up at him "i am so sorry you had to go through all that Aqua if you'll let me I want to help you and your friends" she nodded giving him a hug "thank you Traye sorry being stuck her for so long by myself has made me a little touch starved" Traye chuckled " I totally get it and I don't mind at all Aqua" he walks a couple feet before summoning his 'Keyblade" and looking at it "so this is my keyblade" he lifts it into the eye becoming cloaked in his armor "and this is my keyblade armor" he turns to Aqua who nods "Aqua if I am going to help you i am going to have to ask you to train me" she smiles "alright well first lesson" she places a hand on his armor before giving it a shove knocking Traye flat on his butt "you need to keep your balance" she chuckles making Traye pout and cross his arms she walked up to him leaning forward and offers him her hand "lets grow together shall we" she closes her eyes tilts her head and gives him a bright smile, Traye grips her hand before she pulls him to his feet.
An undetermined amount of time later
Aqua summons her keyblade before getting in a battle stance Traye does the same they charge at each other before Aqua's keyblade clashes with his.
"you ready for this Traye she grins Traye shoves her off him "bring it on Aqua" Aqua Summons a firaga and fires at at him which Traye blocks with his shield he gasps as right behind the firaga is blizzaga right at his feet he counters with a firaga of his own causing a rush of steam to envelope both Keyblade wielders.
Aqua looks around briefly before her breath hitches when Trayes shield slams into her back she quickly recovers by using aeroga to steady herself and casts a thudaga above Traye making lightning crackle over his armor he lets out a scream of pain before going down to one knee he casts curaga on himself and charges at Aqua.
Aqua dodges back, jumps into the air and slams her foot into his shield making his arm numb, jabbing his blade at her she barely bends back enough to avoid it cutting some of her hair she glares at him. Aqua runs at Traye jumps up in the air and casts waterga making him thrust his shield up to block it but he fails to notice Aqua land behind him and kick him in the back making him fly into a rock wall he gets up and collapse to the ground "you win again Aqua" she smirks before walking up to him "you did well Traye you have made so much progress" offering him a hand he takes it before she helps him to their little shelter by the beach "thanks Aqua you are not called a master for no reason"
She smiles at him and cast curaga talking to him as she does "you know Traye i am really glad we found each other you have made my time here bearable he smiles at her and gives her a hug "same goes for me Aqua I don't know if I would have survived without you."
Aqua smiles and looks into Traye's eyes their heads both move closer together and just as they were about to put their lips together a tornado of heartless attacks them the pair nod to each other words required to know what each other was thinking they get up and summon their keyblades and armor before rushing at the tornado.
Traye goes to one knee "Aqua!" she nods, Traye flattens his shield Aqua jumps on to it and Traye pushes as hard as he can launches her into the air casting a giant thundaga killing a good chunk of the heartless Aqua casts aeroga under Traye who jumps into the air offers his hand to Aqua who grabs it and throws Traye into the eye of the tornado covers himself in lightning and slams his keyblade into the ground completely collapsing the tornado making more heartless than they can count crash to the ground.
Traye and Aqua land on the ground and heartless begin to combine into 3 giant darkside's and begin surrounding the two keyblade warriors Traye and Aqua back up another they were back to back briefing looking at each other.
"I am so tired of these guys lets finish them" Traye says Aqua nods grabbing his hand Aqua casts a massive waterga that surrounds the darksides and brings them together Traye summons all his mana into a giant spear made of thunder magic throws it at the darksides two are destroyed instantly the last falls to its knees Aqua and Traye thrust their keyblades into its forehead making it roar and explode into shadow both Traye and Aqua are exhausted and sit down with their backs to each other "well- hah we did it Aqua" Aquas twice before answering "ya we- hah did good job Traye.
Traye was about to say something before a bright light appears on the horizon of the ocean "Aqua is that?" Aqua looks at him and gasps tears in her eyes "our way out" aqua runs ahead and looks back smiling and offering him her hand.
Traye reaches out his hand before his eyes narrow making Aqua confused "Aqua look out!" Traye rushes past her summoning his keyblade and blocking a strike from a figure in a midnight black coat the figure knocks Traye back points his dark keyblade at him before charging at him Traye summons his shield blocking the strike before kicking the offenders legs outs from under him and slams his sword onto the dark keyblade Aqua charges at the figure with her own Keyblade in hand the cloaked man seeing this kicks Traye off him and blocks Aquas strike shoving her back the man throws a hard punch into Traye face knocking him back onto his back Traye wipes he face and sees the man about to impale Aqua he cast aeroga and rushes forward praying he gets there in time "AQUA!"
Aqua was scared the dark keyblade was coming straight for her chest she didn't have time to lift he keyblade she hears Traye yell "AQUA!" before he appears in front of her taking the dakr keyblade right through his chest it made a sickening sound as it pierced Trayes chest "TRAYE NOOO!" Traye looks at her with a smile before lifting his hand water surrounds her completely encasing her she is then thrown back towards the light "good bye Aqua" he says with tears in his eyes, Aqua sees the man throw Traye's body into the ocean. "NOOOOOOOO" she cries as light envelops her.
