Twlight town
Aqua awoke with a start as she did she felt sun on her skin for the first time in what felt like forever she turned "we did it Tr-" she gasped getting to her feet looking around for her friend before holding her head remembering what happened and it made her tear up Traye scarified him for her she held her hands to her chest and collapsed to her knees her heart hurt it hurt so bad "Traye I am so sorry".
No she thought he cant be dead she cant believe that getting to her feet she began to look around she was in a town looking up she saw a massive clocktower deciding that would be a good place to get the lay of the land she jumped atop buildings before making it to the base of the tower she opened the doors and began to climb the stairs when she reached the top the view took her breath away she could see the sun shining over the town it was beautiful what a site after being in the world of darkness.
"Traye you would've loved to see this" she muttered steeling herself she was going to find a all of her friends Traye Ventus Terra all of them but first I need to get off this world first thing she needed to do was check on Ven summoning her keyblade and transforming it into a glider she summons her armor gets on her glider and flies into the sky headed for castle oblivion as she leaves Twilight town a figure in a Black robe looks into the sky before summoning a door to to darkness and disappears through it.
Aqua finally made it to castle Oblivion dismounting and dismissing her keyblade and armor she runs to the entrance to the castle placing her hand on the castle she can sense Ventus's presence Aqua breaths a sigh of relief "good he is still alive sorry Ventus you'll need to wait for me a little longer before i can wake you up" Aqua lowers her hand from the castle and turns to leave as she does a door to darkness opens in front of her and a black cloaked figured emerges just like the one that attacked her and Traye wasting no time she summoned her keyblade and armor and got ready to fight to her surprise those the figure didn't attack "you must be...Aqua"
Aqua's eyes hardened "and you are?" he voice held hostility she was not in a talking mood after what the last hooded man did she figured paused momentarily "i am not your enemy if you are in need of allies i suggest you seek out Sora and king Mickey" he turns and heads through the door Aqua sighs dismissing you keyblade and armor 'Sora and Mickey' wasnt sora just a kid how could he help her how much time has past 'maybe i can ask master Yen Sid for guidance' her path clear she summons her keyblade and leaves castle oblivion.
'it hurts' Traye thought as the black robed mans blade pierced his chest 'no now isn't the time I need to get Aqua out of here I reach my hand out to Aqua she has tears in her eyes I summon a wateraga to envelope her "good bye Aqua".
"NOOOOO" she screams banging her fist on the wall of water 'this is all I can do for you' I thrust my hand forward sending her towards the light the black robed man lifts me up in to the air my body slides down the blade further fresh burning pain shooting throughout my nerves before I am thrown off the blade into the water
I begin to sink feeling the darkness creep up my body I feel every kind of negative emotion at once its overwhelming all the anger and hatred I feel for the heartless who destroyed my world who attacked Aqua caused her so much pain and suffering I just wish I could've told Aqua how I felt about her the darkness is all the way up to my neck I begin to get scared my heartrate quickens well what's left of my heart anyway as the darkness covered me completely the last thought that goes through my head is Aqua 'sorry Aqua at least I got you out of this awful place' I smile one last time before my vision goes black.
Aqua reaches Yen Sids tower she walks up the tower reaching the top he hesitates before shaking he head and opens the door "Master Yen Sid" said man dressed in the garb of a wizard turns around and gasps "Aqua? but how I thought you were-" she nods sadly "i was just- just how have i been gone?"
The man hums softly to himself to before speaking his voice grave "my dear you have been missing for nine years" at this revelation Aqua had to sit down holding her head "nine years is that how distorted time is in the realm of darkness?" she shook her head 'no it doesn't matter she had to save her friends "master in the realm I met a boy his name was Traye he is a keyblade wielder we were attacked by a man in a black cloak and Traye sacrificed himself for me i have to save him"
Yen Sid stroked his beard "another Guardian of light i see yes we must free him Aqua you cant go in there by yourself I will summon Sora Riku and Mickey to aid you please be patient yen said forms a connection with his crystal ball and contacts Sora and Riku
Six months later...
Riku, Sora and Mickey finally arrive at Yen Sids tower they tried to get here sooner but the heartless and organization thirteen prevented that they opened the door to see Yen Sid and Aqua "Aqua!" Mickey and Riku ran to give her a hug she smiled and returned the hug she then turned to Sora.
"good to see you too Sora it has been a long time" Sora has his hands behind his head and grins "ya I'm glad you got out of the realm of darkness Aqua" at the mention of the realm she frowned remember why she called them here in the first place "everyone the reason I called you all here is because i meet another keyblade wielder in the realm of darkness his name is Traye and we need to rescue him" at this everyone was shocked knowing there was another keyblade user.
Sora spoke first "well what are we waiting for lets go save our new friend" Aqua nodded and turned to master Yen Sid "Sora is right we are ready to go master" Yen Sid hummed to himself "Yes you are right Aqua but please prepare your self for a possible outcome" Aqua lowered her head she knew there was a very high possibility Traye might not be alive 'NO she could feel it in her heart Traye was alive and she was going to bring him back' she turns to Mickey "Mickey if you would" who nods summoning his keyblade and opens a door to darkness she smiles at him before going in first followed by Sora then Riku and finally Mickey.
The Realm of Darkness...
a door to darkness appears on the shore out of it steps the four keyblade users they all look around the shore aqua runs to the spot she last saw Traye because she doesn't see any trace of him her heart falls 'i am so sorry Traye' she thinks to her self 'I left you here by yourself when i knew first hand how hard it was to be alone here' mickey places a gloved hand on her shoulder
"Aqua?" she stands up looking downcast "Mickey are we too late?" he looks down then at the ocean "you said he was thrown into the ocean right and he was gravely injured?" she nods slowly.
"Aqua I-" he didn't get to finish his thought as a giant horde of heartless appeared and formed into another tornado of darkness capturing everyone but Aqua Riku drops his keyblade and a shadowy figure picks up Riku's keyblade the shadow dissipates to reveal Traye in black and gold armor not wearing a helmet, his once dark almond eyes now golden his black hair has faded white streaks in it he turns and stands with his back to the keyblade users.
"Traye!" Aqua breathes
"Aqua you are too late" he turns to her "you of all people knew how hard it is to be here alone especially when i was mortally wounded, I couldn't summon my keyblade, I couldn't even breathe as the darkness took me"
Aqua had tears running down her face "i know i am so sorry Traye i tried to make it back as fast as i could" Traye growled "you knew exactly how lonely and scared i would feel when i didn't have you with me I have nothing left in my heart but misery and despair and now...you can share it!" he got into a two handed battle stance Aqua looked at him in horror "no I cant fight you Traye please dont make me" he narrowed his eyes "too bad" he says simply before charging at her Aqua reacting on instinct summons her keyblade to block but he was so strong that he made her buckle under the weight he brings up his left leg before kicking her hard in the stomach knocking her on her butt.
Aqua quickly got to her feet before he came at her again blocking a hard overhead strike and rolled out of the way she casted blizzaga at him but he just shrugged it off like it was nothing 'this version of Traye is terrifying he is so powerful he reminds me of terra' she thought she is broken out of her thoughts by a crushing punch to her gut making her lose her breath she was losing this fight and she knew it she cant beat him by herself she looked toward her friends running towards them.
Traye blocked her advance she gasped 'he was never this fast before' she gets hit by a backhand to her face disorienting her before having a gloved hand wrap around her throat on reflex she drops her keyblade and places her hands on his trying to free herself "Tr- Traye please D-don't" she chokes out.
However her plea falls on deaf ears as he lifts her up higher before bringing her face close to his "this is what you have wrought Aqua any last words" unable to breath her eyes begin to close "i got a few" Riku growls before punching Traye hard in face making him stagger back "Aqua get up we need you" Aqua still dazed looked at her friends fighting Traye Riku throws another punch only for Traye to grab it crushing it in his grip making Riku scream in pain before kick Riku hard in the chest knocking him on his back. Sora slams his keyblade into Traye exposed back making him turn and backhand sora giving sora a bloody nose Mickey executes a spinning front flip and hits Traye on on shoulder "Aqua hurry we need you" Mickeys before trying to attack Traye again but has is blade grabbed by Traye who throws Mickey blade and all away from him.
Aqua finally on her feet Charges him pushing him back on to the ocean "Riku,Sora, Mickey now as one!" Aqua slashes his chest Riku shoulder checks him into Mickeys strike to his legs bringing Traye to his knees Traye tries to bring his keyblade up in defense but Sora's strike frees it from Traye's grip landing on the sand he looks up at Aqua before she slashed downward on his chest making him stand up and groan in pain holding his head "ARGGGHHHH" he roars before falling back on top of the water in a heap underneath him darkness forms wraps around his body and pulls him under the water. Aqua runs forward and dives into the water "oh no you don't" she says before she disappears
Traye looks up to the surface under the water he cant move his body it felt so heavy and his eyes felt so tired they begin to slowly close before shutting completely his body going limp all her can see is darkness 'feels like deja vu' he thought to himself
Aqua swam as fast as she could Traye's armor was making him sink so fast she pushed her legs harder nearly reaching him another push she reached out and grabbed his hand pulling him into a hug she shook him to wake up him 'I am not letting you go after coming this far' without thinking she places her lips on his passionately 'please don't leave me after I came back for you Traye please' she feels arms wrap around her and she opens her eyes to see Traye is back to his old self his armor disappears and he kisses her back they share a moment before breaking the kiss locking hands and swimming back to the surface.
Sora Riku and Mickey were getting worried Riku was about to dive in after them before they both surfaced Aqua dragging Traye's tired body to shore he looks up to her hand on caressing her face "thank you for coming back for me Aqua i love you" Aqua cheeks flushed "i love you too Traye now lets go home" he nods Riku and Sora run up and grab Traye's arms and wrap them around their necks Aqua looks at her friends "we did it everyone lets go home" everyone nods and walk through the door to darkness.
