CHAPTER 3
There was always one hunt that Ryan had never been able to finish, one hunt that lived in the back of his head, rent free, Ryan was on a roll until a clue led him to two places, first he went to a small cave in the side of a mountain in New Zealand, and the other leading him to a highly guarded temple in India, New Zealand held a scroll at the end of the cave, but the temple held nothing, somehow it was already raided by somebody, the problem being, he had no clue who raided the temple before he got there, now he thought he just might find out when he got to the watercraft's destination. No matter what would happen, he would stick it through until he had Max back. Once Ryan was at the docks, it was easy to see which one was meant for him, there was a massive cruise ship docked just past the designated area, he thought back to the business card, there was a note attached to it, it said to give it to a guard at the watercraft, Ryan walked over to the cruise and a guard blocked his path.
"Card?" he asked.
"Oh, right," Ryan replied. He reached into his pockets, retrieved the business card he had been given and handed it to the guard.
The guard inspected it and allowed Ryan to pass by. "Thank you," he said.
Ryan boarded the cruise ship and explored, after a few hours of walking around, he got hungry, so, he went to the food court and made himself a burger, a taco and to finish his meal a few scoops of cookie-dough ice-cream, of course, you can't have a meal without something to drink, so he found himself a glass of champagne. When Ryan finished his dessert, he sat back in his luxurious chair and went to sleep. He didn't have enough energy to find the beds, so he didn't try to, of course, he did put the dishes into the kitchen sink. Whilst Ryan slept, he dreamed of what he may find at the end of the treasure hunt, he knew it would be a special artifact, but what could it be? Would it have special powers such as artifacts from the gods? Or would it simply be a one-of-a-kind trinket? Ryan decided that he would burn that bridge when he got there.
