CHAPTER 7
Nothing would stop this unbeatable duo, they rushed to the mountain and climbed as fast as they could, they were too late, Jonathan was standing triumphantly with the Scepter, his back turned to the duo.
"Put down the Scepter of Realms and maybe we'll spare your life!" Ryan exclaimed. There was nothing to separate them from Jonathan except a giant ravine. Jonathan looked back at them, nothing on his face but pure evil, this was not the same Jonathan that Ryan knew, the Scepter of Realms had clearly corrupted him, the look of his torso had already become that of deep space, as if the Scepter had a mind of its own, it spread fast, infecting his clothes and skin, when it finally reached his head there was a golden helmet with horns.
"This staff does so much more than you would think it does, it can bring anything into this realm!" Jonathan exclaimed from across the ravine. His voice became raspy, this was definitely not the same man that Ryan once knew, he took a glance at the Scepter of Realms, it was a very dark black, at the top, there were many empty circles, except for one, at the very top of the circles, there was a big one, with a swirling blue portal, that wasn't all, it continued to infect Jonathan, his eyes glowed blue, he had the pants piece of a brown toga with a brown belt along with a large red circle, a gold shoulder armor attached to a cape.
"PUT DOWN THE SCEPTER AND WE'LL SHOW YOU MERCY JONATHAN!" Ryan exclaimed.
"This staff holds knowledge; I am now all powerful!" he said. He looked down to his feet. "Of course, the foundations." Now he looked at Ryan and Max and aimed the Scepter of Realms at them. "I'm sorry, but I can't allow you to stop me, I do hope you enjoy your little adventure across the realms you two!" Just then, he shot a portal at them that not even the Flash could dodge.
