CHAPTER 11
Nobody could have predicted what happened next, it was as if somebody had ripped the entire world bare, everything but one castle in the distance. Ryan glanced at the sky; bad weather was on the horizon. A velvet storm was coming, it threatened the very existence of Ryan and his allies, it was coming in fast.
"OK, this is weird... What is this place exactly?" Jack asked.
"Jonathan is here, that's for sure," Ryan answered.
A blue speck walked to the edge of the castle; it saw the three of them and after a short moment, their platform was pulled toward the fortress at such a high speed, it almost ripped Ryan's face clean off.
"Max Belnateer! Ryan Smith!" Jonathan exclaimed in his new voice. He paused, tilted his head at Jack and asked: "And who are you? Some new ally for these two, are you?"
"Uhm..." Jack said. He turned to look at Max. "Is this supposed to be Jonathan or something?"
Jonathan got a kick out of this. "JONATHAN! HAH!" He lowered his voice. "Jonathan is dead, I killed him."
"Then who are you?" Jack asked.
"How do you three not know yet? Oh, that's right, nobody's told you, say hello to Lord Vortech!" he said.
"Why are you here, what is this place?" Ryan asked.
"Of course you'd ask that question," Vortech said. He turned around and walked away. "This realm is Foundation Prime! I am here because I have collected all but one foundation elements, once I can find the location of it, I will become the most powerful man in the entire universe, I bought myself some time by sending you on that adventure earlier, it still won't be enough to stop me though."
"What's the last one?" Jack asked.
"I am very glad you asked," Vortech said. "It's right about there!" He pointed the Scepter at the left wall and opened a portal, four people came out from it. "Hello Ghostbuster! How are you doing on this fine day? I hope you are well; I do need something from you though, where are your proton packs?"
"Right here man, on our backs," Logan said. He pointed to Ryan. "He said that you were a villain. Is this true?"
Lord Vortech seemed frustrated at this.
Just then, a blue phone box appeared from thin air and an old man popped out. "Hello Vortech, how's business?" he asked. The Ghostbusters slipped back into their portal and disappeared.
Vortech looked more than confused. "Who are you?"
"I'm the doctor," he said. "I believe that you have something of mine Vortech!"
"I can just send you through an infinite loop you know doctor!" Vortech exclaimed.
"Try it! I dare you!" The Doctor retaliated.
Lord Vortech aimed the Scepter to just above his throne and shot a portal with multiple colors, sucking everybody into it, including Lord Vortech himself.
After they were all in the tunnel, the Doctor handed Ryan, Max and Jack each a small device and told them to point and throw the straight at Lord Vortech, they did as they were told, and the doctor rushed them into his blue box and transported them home.
