Their home was built in an area of the factory that looked like a huge forest. It was big enough to get completely lost in if you wondered far away from the house without knowing your way around. The white house is surrounded by various fruit trees with some pine, oak, and maple trees as well. Next to the house is a big beautiful lake that freezes over in the winter for ice skating, and is good for swimming in the summer. On the first of March, the weather is dreadfully hot all day for the lake to unthaw. In the backyard is a garden area next to a koi pond. Out near the lake is a white gazebo with a picnic table. Further down along the lake, you'll find where the paddle boat is docked.

Julia was absolutely amazed by how real and natural the outside looks and feels. Wonka tells her that everything is real and natural except the sky, sun, moon, stars, and weather control.

In this forest, real rain and snow falls from the clouds. You can feel the heat of the artificial sun and even get tanned or burned by it. You can feel wind blowing and see forest creatures running and flying around in the distance. The clouds turn beautiful vibrant colors at dusk and dawn. Without knowing any better, you'd think it was part of the real Earth. The only thing giving away it's falsehood being how fast the seasons change, the sky becoming dark around 8:30pm all year round, and how the stars turn gold on Christmas eve.

The forest is enclosed by an enormous circular stone wall. It's 10 feet thick, 1000 feet high, and still doesn't come close to touching the sky. The wall is wrapped in black vines with roses that change color every season. They're red in summer, yellow in autumn, blue in winter, and pink in spring. If you plucked one of these roses from their vine, it would grow back almost instantly; in full bloom like magic.

On the other side of the wall are the things that control the weather. Are they machines? Are they creatures? Only Wonka knows for sure.

Before going under construction, Wonka talked with the family on how they wanted it to be built. The house has a dark and creepy basement (because Wonka felt it was necessary), one large kitchen, one large living room, one large storage room, two medium sized bathrooms, a sun room, a ballet room, and six bedrooms each with a large walk-in closet. Two of which were meant to be guest rooms.

The sun room has a high quality stereo in the corner, and stretches out from a long hallway to the backyard where the lake, garden, koi pond, and gazebo are visible. There's not much in this room aside from a white china cabinet, a few white and gold chairs, sofas, and tables. So it's very echoey. It's angled so that one can easily watch the sun rise and set from both sides of the room.

In the kitchen, it looks like there's two silver refrigerators, but one is a freezer. The freezer has an ice dispenser on the door, and the fridge has a water dispenser. The walls of the kitchen are yellow, the appliances are light silver, and the countertops are made of marble. The floor is made up of black and white tiles. There's also a bar that's just for Angina. (But Vivian will use it too.)

The dining room is the (if not one of the) coziest rooms in the house. It's separated from the kitchen by two golden double doors that open both ways. There's two light dials on the wall. One controls the golden wall lights, the other the golden chandeliers. All these lights are fire. The further you turn the dials, the taller and wider the flames get. (All rooms have light dials instead of switches to adjust dimness. But only this one has fire.) The walls and carpets are deep red like wine, and the whole room is decorated with gold accents. A long, dark wooden table is surrounded by 12 wooden chairs with red cushions. Five chairs on each side, and one on each end. Tall red and gold curtains cover large windows along two of the four walls; allowing for plenty of sunlight when opened.

A lot of things in the living room are beige or cream coloured with gold accents. It has a big "L" shaped couch and a reclining chair. A huge flat screen TV, and several houseplants that Angina will take care of. Pictures and paintings of the family members hang from the walls. Including a big beautiful painting of Great-Grandmother Julianna.

One of the bathrooms has a lot of wood and dark grey stone. Making it feel very dark and cozy like a forest before a summer rain. The other bathroom has much lighter colours to give it a more lively feel. Colours like white, beige, and pastel yellow. Feeling more like laying in the sand on a sunny beach.

The storage room is just a plain large room with concrete floors and grey walls.

Veruca's room is pink with purple. There's many shades of pink, but mostly just light or medium shades of purple. The walls are light pink, the fuzzy carpet is a medium pink, and the curtains over the windows are light purple. There's a large pink canopy bed with pink and purple fairy lights inside the sheer curtains decorated with gold glitter. There's a pink vanity desk with a golden oval-shaped mirror against the wall. The mirror has bulbs around it that shine a goldish light when turned on. In front of the desk is a fuzzy pink stool. Next to the mirror is a white stand for her squirrel. There's a little spiral staircase around it for them to crawl up onto a royal purple cushion to sleep on. A miniature fence is built around the top to keep the cushion from falling off. Under the wooden stand is a grey box full of white litter crystals. There's a light purple curtain at the bottom of the stand around the box for privacy. On top of Veruca's white and gold dresser, is a tall glass jar full of strawberry flavoured jelly beans.

Veruca's ballet room has pink walls with white floors, with a shiny black piano over in the corner. The light pink walls have darker shades of pink swirled into a marble-like design. Hung over the tall windows are translucent curtains; coloured of lavender and speckled with gold glitter. Like the sun room, this room is very echoey.

Julia's room is forest themed. The walls are made of unpainted wood, as well as many other things. Such as the doors, bedframe, and dressers. The dirt coloured carpet is even covering a wooden floor. The pillows and blankets on her bed, the curtains over her windows, and the rug in front of the door are designed to resemble the season or holiday. They have barren snow covered branches for winter, sunny green leaves for summer, pink blossoms for spring, and red and gold leaves for autumn. The holiday themes she has are Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. She keeps the extra fabrics and decorations in her closet or in the storage room.

Vivian's room has a lot of brown and dark grey, with lots of things made out of wood. It's cozy like Julia's room, but has much less sunlight from the single window covered with a dark brown curtain. While it might be cozy like Julia's room, it's much less inviting without the larger windows and seasonal decor.
