Chapter One.
On the night of April fourteenth of nineteen twelve, on a moderate sized ship with a good amount of life boats on there and they were sailing right out in to the northern Atlantic Ocean, Cleopatra Goodhart was standing out on to the bow while she was looking out across the water while she was looking out for any thing in sight. Any thing suspicious that was, but nothing just yet. Cleo's friend, who was a Muggle named, Jacob O'Reilly. He was the Captain of his ship a long with well over one hundred of the crew men and doctors and nurses on board as well.
Cleopatra Goodhart was originally from Boston, Massachusetts and she went over to Ilvermorney School of Witchcraft and Wizardry over in Mount Greylock, Massachusetts. And she was in the Wampus house. She was a caring and loving woman and she had a whole lot of courage and respect for others. She had pure golden eye colors and she also had platinum white braided hair. She was twenty six years of age and very few witches and wizards have this kind of hair color. She was very unique indeed when her parents saw this with amazement.
Goodhart was a Muggle born witch and she lived on the top floor of an apartment building right down the street from the New York Ministry for Magic. She worked for the Ministry as an Auror. And now, she was out on a mission of her own with her Muggle friend. It was a good thing that her parents named her Cleopatra. Her was named after the Egyptian queen.
Cleo and her parents were still living in Boston at the time. Her parents were Muggles. Her father, Bernard Goodhart worked over at the news papers company and her mother, Victoria Goodhart worked over at the sewing clothing company. She moved down to New York for work. She went in to training to become an Auror. And before she went on to her mission, she went back up over to Boston and she had to wipe her parent's memories to keep them safe from any thing bad would happen to them. She had Mary and Bernard change their identities to their new alias names.
When she was looking out across the cold water, Cleopatra looked up in to the sky and she saw that it was pretty clear night this night. With the stars shining and there were a little bit of clouds as well. But then, she heard a scraping in the distance and then, she was starting to have a gut feeling that some thing had happened in to the distance. Goodhart had her magic ability that she could see a far and she had her golden eyes of an eagle and she also had really great hearing. She looked up towards the crow's nest.
She saw one of the crew men up there, who was looking ahead. "Master Theodore." She said his name and he looked down at her. "Tell me what can you see or hear out there?" She asked him. "I can hear some thing in the distance and I also fear that some thing bad may have happened." She added. Cleopatra can feel it in her gut that some thing bad had really happened.
Not only Jacob knew that she was a witch, but the whole crew knew that Goodhart was indeed a witch and the she told them not to tell any one this. And she also told them before they went on the voyage that they would keep her secrets safe. And they would. Especially Jacob.
"From what I can see with my spy glass here is that there are lights from a ship from a head, ma' am." Theodore told her. "And not only that I see the ship in the distance." He said when Goodhart's eye brows furrowed at his words. "There is also a large iceberg near by that ship." He added.
"Ma' am?" He asked her with concern when he saw the look on her face. Cleo's eyes widened at his words with worry. She then turned on her heels and she rushed from the bow. She had feared the worst. From what the sea man told her that there was an iceberg near where a ship passed from. Theodore called after her while she went up by running over to the bridge where her friend was in.
Jacob saw the look of extreme concern on her face. "Cleopatra, what is the matter?" He asked her with worry.
Cleo took out her wand from the upper sleeve of her long sleeve shirt with her long coat that went all the way down to her upper legs. "Master Theodore saw from up in to the crow's nest that there is a large iceberg and a ship near there in the distance." She said to him. He looked at with curiosity. "And I fear the worst over where in between that iceberg and that ship is at. And we need to go where that ship is. Their lives are at stake over there." She added.
Jacob nodded his head and he agreed with his friend. "Well then, Cleopatra, lead the way by using your wand stick there." He said when he pointed his finger at her wand that she had in her hand.
Goodhart smiled at his word 'stick' before she looked over at the old fashioned binoculars. She pointed her wand at it. "Accio Binoculars." She said when she waved her wand and the binoculars flew right in to her hands. She looked up at her friend. "It is not just a stick, Jacob. It is a wand." She said teasingly, but she knew that it the absolute truth. Jacob told her to lead the way and he would steer where she was going to show them.
Cleo walked out of the bridge and she rushed over to the bow and she binoculars in to her hand and she looked out. She turned her head left and right to see any thing in sight. Her excellent eye sight caught some thing in to the distance. Just like the crew man in the crow's nest told her. There was in fact a large iceberg and a ship near there. She felt her gut churning and she feared the worst. Cleopatra was guessing that there passengers a board that ship.
She turned her head and she told crew men, who were right near the bridge. "Keep going straight a head. And full speed a head to where that ship is. There are passengers a board that ship." She told them. And they have to agree with her and they rushed in to the bridge to tell Jacob. Goodhart turned back to look across the water and she looked once again with the binoculars and she saw that this ship was in fact sinking.
She looked towards the bow of it and she saw the name and it was the Titanic. She lowered the binoculars and she pointed her wand and she waved it to do a tracking charm and it went straight for it as quickly as this ship could take it to the Titanic. And now, they have a situation on hand. And she has a plan to save these passengers as much as she could.
