"We're here!" Rena smiled as all of them arrived.
After Aiko gave Rosa her suggestion, everyone went to the baseball field. They had been so busy focused on Rosa and Maria that they had forgotten there was a baseball game that day. Thankfully, Aiko reminded them.
"I thought we were going to miss it…" Satoko tried to catch her breath, holding her knees while hunched over.
"I kept trying to tell you kids the game is still a few hours away." Rosa was also trying to catch her breath.
"We still have to prepare, though," Satoko whined. "Now that we started to break early, we can focus more on the game."
"Of course." Rosa sighed as she shook her head. "Do you also plan to beat the other team alone too?"
"I'm sure she'd try it if she could." Rika giggled.
"You have a point." Rosa giggled before looking down at her daughter. "Don't you think she would too, Maria?"
"Rena." Maria smiled.
"No, I wouldn't try that." Rena giggled as she patted her head.
"You sure?" Rosa raised an eyebrow as she grinned. "Considering you're the only one who ran here and didn't have to catch their breath, I'm sure you could."
"Rosa, you're embarrassing me…" Rena blushed as she looked away.
"She does have a point, though." Rika smiled as she stepped forward. "Even Satoko got winded from running here."
"Not you, too, Rika." Rena blushed even more, now trying to hide her face.
"Guys," Keiichi groaned, getting all of them to turn to look at him. He was currently face down on the ground, motionless. "I'm still in pain, and I'm not sure I can get back up."
"I'm even more shocked you ran as much as you did." Rosa shook her head. "Did you already forget about falling several feet last night?"
"Told you he was dense." Satoko giggled.
"I heard that!" Keiichi screamed as he tried using his arms to push himself up. He got halfway up before falling back to the ground.
"See why we don't know what Mion sees in him?" Satoko grinned and whispered to Rosa.
"Yep." Rosa sighed before smiling. "I also see why Mion called you the little troublemaker of the group."
"Hey!" Satoko glared as she crossed her arms. "I take offense to that!"
"Satoko's so kyute!" Rena smiled as she danced, looking at her. "I want to take her home with me!"
"Girls?" A familiar voice said, getting all of them to turn towards it.
"Hi, Irie!" Rika waved as Irie walked towards them.
"Aren't you all here a little early?" Irie sat the bags down he was carrying. He was also in his baseball uniform instead of his doctor's coat.
"I tried telling them that." Rosa sighed. "They don't like to listen to the obvious."
"Yeah, that's a good way to describe it." Irie chuckled. "At least it seems like you're learning."
"Is that really a good thing?" Rosa dropped her shoulders.
"Mama." Maria reached up to her, making Rosa look down at her.
"Oh, you know I'm right." Rosa giggled as she saw Maria smiling at her.
"And how has Maria been?" Irie lowered himself and leaned towards her. "I didn't get to talk to you like I did with your mom."
"She's been an angel." Rosa smiled. "She got to have a sleepover with Satoko and Rika last night too."
"I bet that was fun." Irie smiled as he stood back up. "I'm sorry they dragged you out to this."
"It's fine." Rosa giggled. "I'm sure it was just another thing these girls would drag me to eventually."
"Well, I am happy you're here." Irie nodded. "Just watching, or do you want to help?"
"Help?" Rosa raised an eyebrow. "You mean, help with the game?"
"Sure." Irie smiled. "Why not?"
"I don't even know anything about baseball." Rosa jumped back a little. "How in the world would I help with anything?"
"You don't need to be an expert." Irie laughed. "Just be there to cheer the kids on and all of that."
"I don't know." Rosa sighed as she dropped her shoulders.
"Oh please, Rosa." Satoko looked up at her. "I promise it's not hard, and I want you as part of the team."
"Having Rosa on the team would be nice." Rika smiled as she nodded.
"Is there anything you kids aren't going to drag me into?" Rosa stared at them. "It feels like no matter what it is, I'm getting dragged into it."
"That's because we like you so much." Rika kept smiling.
"She has a point." A familiar voice said as she patted Rosa on the back.
"We do like you and want to involve you in everything, " A similar voice said as she patted Rosa's back.
"I knew you two would eventually show up." Rosa covered her face with one of her hands while the other held Maria. "I knew such a nice day couldn't last that long."
"Oh, I know you don't mean that." Mion smiled. "You even admitted you thought I was the good twin."
"Yet I'm the one that held Maria and even fed her." Shion smiled as she patted Maria on the head. "Isn't that right, Maria?"
"Rena." Maria smiled as she looked up at her.
"I meant besides her." Shion giggled.
"It's good to see you two." Rena smiled. "Where were you, though? We thought we would have seen you earlier."
"We'll tell you all after the game." Mion smiled as she looked at Rosa. "So, will you be one of our coaches today?"
"If it gets you two not to torture me, then I guess I'll try being one of the coaches and help out." Rosa sighed as she dropped her shoulders. "Again, I'm not sure what you're expecting, but I'll try if everyone wants me to."
"That's the spirit!" Shion wrapped her arm around Rosa's neck. "Let's go get you changed into your baseball uniform!"
"Wait wha…." Rosa tried to say before Rena got Maria out of her arms.
"Want to see your mama in a baseball uniform?" Rena looked down and smiled at Maria, who only smiled back at her.
"Hey, wait a min…." Rosa tried raising her arm to protest, but Shion and Mion dragged her to a nearby locker room.
"Let's get ready for baseball!" Shion yelled as she raised her fist to the sky.
"Your Mama might be close to going insane around those two." Rena smiled at Maria, who was still smiling.
"I told her that's what happens the longer you're around them." Irie chuckled.
"Guys," Keiichi said, grabbing their attention. "Can you please not leave me here?"
"Oh, yeah, I meant to ask," Irie turned to look at Rena while pointing at Keiichi. "What happened to him?"
"It's a long story." Rena nervously laughed as she scratched the back of her head.
