Casey Jones stood on the rooftop of his apartment complex, facing a mannequin with Raph's face plastered on the head. He was wearing his t-shirt and jeans, but had a grey sweatshirt underneath his t-shirt, a bulletproof vest over his clothes, grey motorcycle gloves and had a customised shoulder belt draped over the vest. He then puts on a hockey mask, heads over to the access door, where a hockey stick, a baseball bat, a mallet, a fencing foil and a cricket bat were currently rested. He moves to grab the hockey stick and spins it. "Purple Dragons, mutants…" He stops spinning his hockey stick, turns to the mannequin and strikes it, knocking it down and the head rolls away. "…no matter your heroism…" He then grabs the baseball bat and walks over to the head. "…no matter your crimes…" He uses the hockey stick to scoop up the head and catapults it into the air. "…you're all out there…" The head starts to fall down as Casey drops the hockey stick to grip the bat with both hands. "…like locusts." He then swung the bat, striking the head and sending it far away from the apartment, not caring where it'll end up. "And I, Casey Jones, am the only true warrior to take them all down."
3 Hours Later
Out in the middle of Times Square, just in front of Regal E-Walk, Raph was walking out of it, along with a human teenaged girl with long brown hair. "Thank god we did not watch Garfield, especially since Mikey had just gotten a kitten." Raph said to the girl as they start to walk along the street, trying to ignore the stares of most passerbys, mainly looking at Raph.
"Be honest, Raphael." The girl replied. "You liked the Amy Winehouse movie, didn't you?"
"Hey, it's decent. Not to mention the actress' singing is quite like the real deal. Still a pity she isn't around to make more songs, other than Back to Black, Valerie and Rehab." The girl scoffs in amusement. "Anyway, I appreciate you asking me out to the movie… as a friend."
"Why don't you come on over to my place? Keep up with our friendship."
Raph soon frowned. "Lisa, I know what you're thinking. We're just better off as friends. Besides, you saw the look your parents gave me when I came over to pick you up for the movie."
Lisa sighed in defeat. "I guess so." She then stopped as Raph did the same and turned to her. "I'll… I'll see you at school tomorrow."
"You be careful on your own."
"Thanks, Raphael." Lisa moves to walk across the street while Raph simply sighed and resumed walking to head for a pizza place.
As he walked along, Raph sighed as he looked at the direction Lisa took. "What am I doing? Guy like me shouldn't get pizza alone. Maybe I'll ask if she wants some as well." He turns around to run in the direction she took.
Lisa made her way down the street, until she heard some noises and looked around, suspicious about the noise. "Raphael? Raphael, is that you?"
Slowly making her way to the nearest alleyway, Lisa was about to grab something from her purse, only to hear footsteps and saw two teenagers approaching her, sporting improvised weapons before Lisa sighed upon seeing one with a baseball bat when his arm moved up to see a purple dragon tattoo on it. "Bad timing." He said.
"You're telling me." Lisa sarcastically spoke, moving away before hearing footsteps and turned to see another member of the Purple Dragons was blocking her exit.
"Got ourselves a walking ATM." The Purple Dragon next to the bat wielding member said while getting out a switchblade and brings the blade out. "We're here to make a withdrawal."
"Do you idiots know I have a friend who's one of the mutant heroes?"
"Too bad they're not here at the moment."
"Don't need him for this." The switchblade wielding Purple Dragon moves, intending to stab her, only for Lisa to grab his wrist and turned it, causing him to scream in pain, drop his weapon, kicks his right leg to make him kneel and prepared to throw him down, only for the bat wielding Purple Dragon to hit her from behind, making her fall down, groaning in pain as a result.
"Get her purse." The Purple Dragon that blocked Lisa's exit said as they start to approach her and grab hold of her.
"I got her watch." The bat wielding Purple Dragon said, only to a hockey puck to suddenly hit him in his face, making him fall back.
Lisa and the two Purple Dragons look at the alleyway entrance to see Casey, in his vigilante gear with his sports equipment holstered in the custom holsters while his foil was sheathed in his belt and was holding his hockey stick. "Step away from the lady, if you please." He said, voice partially muffled by his hockey mask.
"Halloween ain't for another 5 months." One of the Purple Dragons sarcastically told him. "What are supposed to go as?"
"As the last guy you see before you wind up in the emergency room."
"Get him, Sean!" The bat wielding Purple Dragon rushes towards Casey, who simply spun his hockey stick and raised it to block the bat before Casey then forced it up, spun around and struck him in the face, knocking him down.
"Two minutes for slashing." The last Purple Dragon gets up and runs towards Casey, who simply moved his hockey stick behind the member's leg and pulls it back to trip him down. "Two minutes for hooking." The switchblade wielding Purple Dragon had by now regained consciousness and ran towards Casey, who immediately moved his hockey stick up between his legs and struck the weak point, causing him to groan in pain and fall to his side, grabbing his weak spot as Casey turned to Sean and the other member. "Anyone else?" They don't reply. "Suit yourself. Here comes my personal favourite. Two minutes for high sticking."
Casey prepared to raise his hockey stick, only for someone to grab it from behind, force it out of his hand and he turned around, only to see no one. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size, kid?" Raph's voice was heard.
"Hey, didn't you see what these thugs were doing?"
"Yeah, but this ain't the way to deal with the Purple Dragons."
Casey simply gets out his baseball bat as the Purple Dragons were getting up, still recovering, and ran out of the alleyway. "Then do you want some of it?"
"Listen, I don't want to fight you. We all deal with anger in different ways."
"Why don't you just show yourself, Raphael?"
Within seconds, Raph emerged from the shadows, holding Casey's hockey stick. "Cat's out of the bag." He turns to Lisa. "Lisa, just go straight home."
She simply nods in compliance, stood up and ran away herself. "It is truly a privilege to fight one of the so called heroes."
"You know, I've seen worser people that thought the same. I know you ain't one of them."
"Shut up and fight!" Casey immediately charged at him. "GOONGALA!"
(A/N: Unfortunately, I never had the chance to watch the Amy Winehouse film)
