"Hello and welcome to Day 16 of the Tokyo Olympic Games! Today is the last of our tournaments and gymnastic events. Now...to start out with today's events, we'll be kicking things off with Tennis Singles!" Sylvester said. "And our first match is Sora (Digimon) vs Dawn !"
"Dawn has first serve!" Howard said as Dawn served to Sora (Digimon).
Sora (Digimon) returns with a slice shot.
"Ha!" Dawn said sending it back with a strong return.
Sora (Digimon) goes for a flat shot.
Dawn went at it only to miss.
"15 love!" Howard said.
Sora (Digimon) wastes no time with a topspin serve.
Dawn went and returned with a quick sidespin.
Sora (Digimon) goes for a flat shot.
Dawn then went for a short lob before Sora (Digimon) sent it right past her.
"30 love!" Howard said.
As Dawn served, Sora (Digimon) returned with a slice.
Dawn sent it back with a flat strike.
Sora (Digimon) decided to go for a lob.
Dawn then went for a return only to miss.
"40 love! Match point for Team Digidestined !" Sylvester said.
Sora (Digimon) served up a flat shot.
"Ha!" Dawn called out, sending it flying with a straight shot only for Sora (Digimon) to take her chance and return it back past her.
"And...that is game!" Sylvester said. "Winner is Team Digidestined."
"Okay...next match is...Renamon vs Aipom!" Magenta called out.
As Aipom served, Renamon responded with a straight shot on the ball.
"Not bad, but how about…" Aipom said as it flew right past him. "Hmm...that Digimon got chops."
"15 love!" Howard said.
"Guess it's my turn to serve." Renamon said as she did so. "Here it comes, Aipom!"
"I'm ready!" Bulbasaur said, returning it.
Renamon managed to hit the ball in a drop shot, sending the Pokémon running forward to catch it. When he once again made contact with the ball, Renamon shifted her stance to perform a lob, sending the ball deep into Aipom's side.
"Gah!" Aipom said, failing to get it.
"30 love!" Howard said.
"So the girl's noticed my blind side." Aipom said as he served it up with a top spin.
Renamon saw the spin, watching where the ball's trajectory would take it. Seeing it, she raced over to the location and attempted a hit. However, the spin affected the ball's return trajectory, allowing Aipom to get in a quick overhead smash and sending the ball flying down onto Renamon's side.
"30-15!" Howard said.
"Now he's starting to adapt." Renamon mused as she served the ball. "Guess I'll have to mix things up a little."
"Ha!" Aipom called out hitting it with a side spin.
Renamon responded in kind, applying some spin of her own on her next hit. The combination of the two spins caused the ball's path to be truly chaotic, giving the Monkey Pokemon a difficult time observing it.
"Gah!" Aipom said, missing it.
"40-15! Match point, Team Digimon!" Howard said as Aipom served it.
"(Final point, Renamon. Make it count.)" Connie thought as she hit the serve with a passing shot.
"Ha!" Aipom said sending it back before Renamon jumped up and sent it back as it landed past him.
"Game! Winner is Team Digimon!" Sylvester said.
"Now it's time for the 3rd match! Team Tiny Toons VS Team Hamtaro!" Magenta said.
(Due to this game is longer since is basically 15-all, 30-all, 40-all, Deuce, tie-break and so the results) :
"Winner of the match : Team Tiny Toons : Babs Bunny !".
"Okay...now we got Match 4 coming at us! Team Keroro Platoon VS Team MLP !" Sylvester said.
"Okay...let's end this quickly so I can see how's Apple Bloom." AppleJack said.
"As you wish, Applejack." Tamama said.
The two of them played fiercely for a bit before the victor was decided.
"Winner is Team MLP!" Magenta said.
"Now we're heating things up with Match 5! Team Straw Hats VS Team Fire Emblem!" Magenta said.
Nami and Mia played a good game, but due to Mia's inexperience with tennis, it wasn't for hard for Nami able to keep up and the results :
"Winner : Team Straw Hats!" Kreese called.
"Now for the next match! Smash Bros VS Jump Superstars !" Magenta said.
It didn't take long before Ryoma showed his skills against Daisy.
"Winner...JUMP Superstars!" Magenta said.
"Man, you're not having very good luck against me." Spade said.
"No...no I am not." Asta said.
"Now...next match! Brotherhood of Evil VS Team Miraculous !" Sylvester said.
Waluigi uses the Racket Lucien but gets disqualified so Team Miraculous win the match and another cheating attempt failed for the Brotherhood of Evil.
"Now we move on to match 8! Sora (Digimon) VS Renamon." Magenta said as the two started playing against one another.
After a fierce match between one another, Sora (Digimon) soon emerged the winner after the two kept it close to a tie.
"And now with those matches done... let's get to the next one ! Nami VS Babs !" Kreese said.
"The first serve, coming up!" Nami said as she hit the ball with a forehand stroke.
Babs decided to hit it back with a slice shot, forcing Nami to reach out low, just barely hitting the ball.
Babs countered with a flat shot, giving the ball enough speed to bypass Nami and land on her side.
"15-love." Magenta said.
Babs went for a topspin serve, a hit that Nami returned as a drop shot.
(A few moments later, not counting 30-love from Babs !)
"40-love, Match Point!" Magenta said.
Babs took a deep breath before serving a flat shot. Seeing it coming, Nami hit back with her own slice before waiting for David's next hit.
Babs decided to go for a top spin shot that landed just out of Nami's reach, ending the round.
"Winner, Team Tiny Toons !" Sylvester said.
"Now it's time for the next match! Team MLP VS Team Miraculous : Applejack VS Alix Kubdel!" Magenta said.
The two of them engaged in a fierce ongoing match until they were all tied up.
(A tie-break later...)
"Match over! Winner is Team MLP!" Magenta said.
"I see. Seems I still have a lot to learn." Chalcedony said.
"Okay...up next...we have the match for 3rd place : Applejack vs Echizen Ryoma!" Howard called out.
The two of them played their best for a bit before it soon ended with Applejack winning the match and Bronze Medal.
"Now...our final match for the glory and gold medal ! Sora (Digimon) VS Babs Bunny!" Kreese said.
"Guess we're about to find out." Rinea said.
"We certainly will." Sora (Digimon) said, serving the ball with a powerful sidespin.
Babs took the opportunity to hit with a slice.
Sora (Digimon) returned with a backhanded strike as it went past Rinea.
"15-love!" Howard said.
"Impressive." Babs said as she served a flat shot.
"Thank you." Sora (Digimon) said, sending it back.
"Seems I may have a hard time with the Digidestined of love." Babs said, serving it back.
The two of them engaged in a fierce battle on the court until only one was left standing.
"Winner is Sora (Digimon) ! And the results are : Gold for Team Digidestined, Silver for Team Tiny Toons and Bronze for Team MLP."
As they went off, the rest of the competitors headed off to the arena for the Rhythmic Ribbon event.
"And here we are at the last Gymnastics event of the games! The Rhythmic Ribbon. And for this event, we will be using the same special performance space we used for Floor. We will also be keeping scores secret until everyone has gone. Now… first up is May who will be performing Ballad of Skitty's." Sylvester said.
May took a breath as quick paced music started to play as she danced across the stage. In midair, a scene soon started to appear as a skitty walks on the right and the screen shows the 4 seasons : Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
The scene then shifted to some May's capturing her Pokemons in Hoenn and her reunions with Ash and his companions in Sinnoh.
The scene then showed her battles against her rivals like Harley and Drew and also when she took part in the Wallace cup. The dance ended with the final scene which is an extract of the episode "Home is Where the Start Is!"
"Nicely done. Next...we have Boa Hancock performing...Hell's Tea Party." Howard said as Nami took the stage.
She started off spinning the ribbon as the tea party began to play out for everyone as something light and jovial until the cake burst open with the Straw Hats pirates jumping out of it. Things then started to get more hectic as the pirates were in a panic as they went about causing as much chaos as possible all the way up to the final escape from Big Mom who was in pursuit of them. Things then ended with something light as the group were soon enjoying a meal together with everyone back together one again.
"Wow...that was pretty exciting. Next we have Rika performing Fade and Rebirth." Magenta said.
(Cue- Reach out to the Truth- Persona 4 Dancing All Night)
Rika began her performance with a piano piece playing as a visual of her time meeting with Renamon when she was a Viximon was shown. The music picks up as the scene shows herself, and the Tamers arriving at the Digital World and meeting their respective Digimon in their In-training form and them protecting the Tamers against the danger of the Digital World. The music turns into an orchestra as the next visual shows her digivolving into Kyubimon to protect Rika's against Harpymon and during her journey in the Digital World. The final visual is Rika and Renamon (digivolved as Sakuyamon) fighting alongside the others members of the Smash Bros Team against Tabuu and the Subspace emissary and the heroes saving the Multiverse.
"Wow...that was truly incredible." Howard said. "Next up, we have Snivy performing "Smash Bros Dungeon Mystery".
Snivy from Team Go-Getters/Pokepals performing : Across Time and Elements.
Snivy goes to the mat and start performing, in midair, a scene soon started to appear as a large blue dragon like creature rushed past a familiar base.
"Wow...I remember this. This was that event that happened after our friends left." Totodile said.
"After we left? What happened?" Tsuyu Asui asked.
"I think we're about to find out." Ayase said.
In the scene, Totodile and Meowth along with Kirlia ran into the square where they saw a purple Kecleon throwing a fit.
"See, there was a robbery and a bunch of TMs got stolen. And the thief retreated into the northern range. It was the Eon Pokémon Latios." Meowth said.
"Latios?" Ace asked. "I mean... Latios and Latios are both Legendary Pokemon, but it's still quite a sight."
"Hold on. It's about to get better." Zoey said.
The scene then shifted to a rocky terrain where Meowth, Totodile and Kirlia did battle against the dragon until it eventually fell. Before the three could celebrate, they soon noticed it was looking a bit sad.
"The reason Latios even stole the TMs was because his sister fell into a deep pit after she was struck by a meteorite." Totodile said.
"A meteorite? You mean…" Max (Pokemon) asked.
"Yeah. It was from the meteor Rayquaza destroyed." Meowth said. "But...that isn't all bad."
The scene then showed the three of them risking their lives before seeing the injured Latias. They soon teleported out with a familiar gem before arriving in the square where the siblings reunited. The dance soon ended out with the two siblings flying around a small island as they happily waved to Meowth, Totodile and Kirlia and the rest of the Pokemon who are part of the Team Go-Getters/Pokemon.
"After we saved her, both of them wanted to join our team, so we let them." Meowth said.
"Oh wow. That is so heartwarming." Dawn said.
"Wow...nicely done. Now...let's see what Biyomon has as she performs Sonata of Garuda." Howard said.
(Cue- Progress- Tales of Xillia)
Biyomon began her performance with a piano piece playing as a visual of her time meeting with Sora when she first arrived in the Digital World. The music picks up as the scene shows Sora, and the Digidestined arriving at the Digital World and meeting their respective Digimon in their In-training form and them protecting the Digidestined against Kuwagamon. The music turns into an orchestra as the next visual shows her digivolving into Birdramon to protect Sora's during her journey in the Digital World. The final visual is Sora and Biyomon (digivolved as Phoenixmon) fighting alongside the others members of the Smash Bros Team against Tabuu and the Subspace emissary and the heroes saving the Multiverse.
"Another good one. Wow...things are going good so far. Okay...next we have Babs perfoming ACME's Multiverse." Sylvester announced.
"Well, that was exactly as Sora, hence they work as a team but no matter. Next up, Team Tiny Toons with Babs perfoming : ACME's Multiverse."
Babs stepped up onto the mat as she started to dance as the first scene to appear was her and the other Tiny Toons characters in the Looneyversity. It then soon changed to where she helped the Smash Bros Team defeating Team Rocket and Kazuya Mishima in ACME Acres. It then shifted towards the Tiny Toons Heroes and the Disney heroes shaking their hands with their counterparts signaling the end of their rivalry and the beginning of their friendship as allies in the Smash Bros Team.
"Hmm...unique. Up next, we have Sandy from Team Hamtaro perfoming Ham-Ham Concerto". Sylvester announced
(Cue- Faith is for the Transient People (TAMUSIC Remix))
Sandy immediately started performing, as she swayed her trusted ribbon around, the scene started with her and her brother Stan being adopted by Hilary, their human owner. After this the scene switched with Sandy creating the Ham-Ham Clubhouse, with Boss, Hamtaro and the others Ham-Hams. As the music grew more intense, so did Sandy's dancing, as the scene switched to the scenario, revealing Sand y and the others ham-hams joining the Smash Bros with the Keroro Platoon, Tsuyu Asui and Keroro Platoon, when the music ceased, a final clash occurred, showing Sandy and the Ham-Hams fighting against Spat during the Ham-Ham Festival and the Ham-Hams, Keroro Platoon joining forces with the Smash Bros Team against Tabuu's as the final image shows Sandy, Maxwell, Stan and the other Ham-Hams waving goodbye to the public, Sandy's dancing stopping as well, as the entirety of the heroes watching got up in a large applause for Sandy's incredible routine, as Spat glares against the female hamster receiving many praises and applauds for her perfomance.
"Wow...another wonderful little performance. Next we have Pururu as she performs Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru/The Frog For Whom the Bell Tolls. Based on the RPG on Gameboy released in Japan in 1992". Howard said.
She started spinning the ribbon as appearing was images of the said game with Prince of Sablé and Prince Richard and their friendly rivalry in fencing, Prince of Sablé saving Princess Tiramisu and ending with several videos showing Prince of Sablé in action as an assist trophy in Smash Bros Games.
"Wow...that was something. Next is Rarity perfoming Pony Fashionista." Magenta said as Rarity started dancing as a scene soon started to play out in a dense jungle.
A visualization appears depicting the Mane 6 discovering their respective elements. The next scene shows the Mane 6 teaching Discord to change his ways to become a respectable hero after causing so much troubles for the ponies of Equestira. The next few scenes shows Rarity helping the other Mane 6 and the rest of the Smash Bros Team in their fights against some members of the Brotherhood of Evil. The final scene, which goes a little bit back, shows Rarity being welcomed with open arms by Madison Taylor and her mother Samantha Taylor as the fashionista of the Mane 6, Madison and the latter's mother embraces in a family hug.
"Hmm...charming. Forgive the pun. Now...next we have Elincia performing Crimean Army Sortie". Magenta said.
The music began to play slowly as Elincia acrobatically danced as the scene started out with her birth and her parents murdered, until a few scenes later, she meets Ike and Grell's Mercenaries. Then the scene switches to the battle of Crimea and Ike fights with the Black Knight ending with Elincia crowned queen saluting her people with Ike at her side.
"Wow. So far, we've seen some amazing performances, and that was no exception!" Kreese said. "Next up, Peach perfoming Mushroom's Quest."
Peach started to dance as scenes showed of Peach arriving at the Mushroom Kingdom as a baby, where she's adopted by the Toads and raised among them, until it switches to her adult years where she's crowned as their princess then it shows some scenes from the Super Mario Bros Movie finishing it with Peach and the Smash Bros Team defeating Tabuu's and saving the Multiverse.
"Hmm...not sure what to think there. Okay...next up, we have JUMP Superstars Lita/Sailor Jupiter who will perform a routine she calls Sailor Solar System." Kreese said.
Lita starts up her performance as the music around her turned into a calm and thoughtful piano arrangement. As she performed spins and twists with her ribbon, the scene above her changed into images. The first scene was a shot of Usagi meeting Luna and receiving her powers to become Sailor Moon. The next scene to come was another scene where Usagi/Sailor Moon meets the other girls who will be her allies and also Demeter and learning that Tuxedo Mask is Mamoru Chiba. The third scene was the Sailor Guardians fighting Queen Nehelenia with the help of Tuxedo Mask. Lita/Sailor Jupiter began to dance furiously, before she then finished on the final notes of the music, with a wide wave of flames, that showed the image of the Sailor guardians alongside Tuxedo Mask and the rest of the Smash Bros Team watching with a smile an X across the former Isle of the ancients after their victory to save the Multiverse and their loved ones against Tabuu.
"Wow...incredible! Finally we have Elmyra perfoming Little Red Elmyra Hood." Sylvester said.
Elmyra stepped onto the platform as she started to dance as appearing above was an image of a cartoon with Elmyra dressed as the Little Red Riding Hood hugging a cartoon wolf. Seeing the image, Elmyra wants to also hugs the wolf and she crashes through the screen, making her disqualified for the event.
And finally for our final perfomance : Rose Lavillant/Pigella in Pigella a musical pig ?" Sylvester said in confusion. "What's Pigella anyways ?"
"It's her Miraculous Hero Persona." Sam said, seeing the Pig Hero Miraculous onto the mat.
With that, the lights dimmed as Rose began their routine as the visuals began. The first one being Rose befriending Marinette. The next visual came from much later: Rose being akumatized as Princess Fragnance before flash-forwading to her receiving the Pig Miraculous and becoming Pigella. At last, the final visual showed a scene familiar to the Miraculous Team and even Killua, Shiryu, Naofumi and Raphtalia : All the heroes watching with a smile the sun from the Arc de Triomphe and brandishing their weapon triumphantly. Rose finished her routine, standing in the center of the mat and bowing to the audience.
"Okay...now the performances are done. We will now announce our results." Magenta said. "Bronze is...Boa Hancock's performance. Silver...we have Biyomon's. And in gold...Sandy from Team Hamtaro." Announced Kreese.
Things soon shifted over to the stadium as the Javelin throw was well underway.
"And here we are at the Javelin throw. Objective is simple. Farthest throw gets the gold. First up is Team Pokemon : Brock!" Magenta said.
Brock stepped up as he pulled his javelin back before hurling it.
"49.783 meters!" Ty called out.
"Astounding. Next is Team Digidestined : Marcus!" Howard said as Lucario sent it flying with a strike.
"55.657 meters!" Ty called out.
"Not bad...lets see some skill from Team Go-Getters : Chimchar." Sylvester said.
Chimchar materialized a javelin with some flames before he launched it.
"58.465 meters!" Ty called out.
"Excellent. Now we have Team Digimon : Guilmon" Kreese said.
"Alright, time to show my skills at Javelin Throw." Guilmon said as he readied to throw it and soon launched it as it flew far before it soon landed.
"49.658 meters!" Ty said.
"Nice. Next we have Boss of Team Hamtaro." Kreese said.
"Alright, here goes… Hup!" Max remarked, before taking his javelin, and throwing it across the field with a fluid motion.
"55.343 meters!" Ty called out.
"Cool. Now we have Giroro from Team Keroro!" Magenta said as Giroro hurled the javelin.
"46.243 meters!" Ty called out.
"Neat. Next is Team MLP : Rainbow Dash." Announced Kreese
Rainbow Dash picked up the javelin as she gave it a strong toss.
"47.890 meters!" Ty called out.
"Nice one. Now it's up for Team Straw Hats : Frank!" Sylvester said.
"Here I go." Franky said as he ran up for some momentum before he tossed the javelin with all of his force.
"50.978 meters!" Ty called out.
"Excellent. Now for Team Fire Emblem : Ike." Sylvester said as Ike gripped the javelin like a sword and hurled with all he had.
"47.435 meters!" Ty said.
"Nice. Donkey Kong from Team Smash Bros is up next." Howard said as Laxus stepped up and tossed it.
"50.253 meters!" Ty said.
"Super. Now for the JUMP Superstars : Son Goku!" Howard said.
"I'm sure it will be easy compared to the Martial Arts Tournament!" Goku said running as he then tossed the javelin.
"51.019 meters!" Ty called out.
"Amazing! Now we have...Wario from Team BOE". Announced Kreese.
"Get ready to eat my dust, losers ! I'll show you how we throw a Javelin !" Said Wario as he eat a garlic gaining super strength but when he tries to throw the Javelin, the javelin pierces his legs then he transforms into Puffy Wario and begins to deflate like a balloon much to the crowd and the other athletes amusement, he then finishes deflating by crashing into a wall with the javelin close to his crotch. A fitting end and disqualification for a so-called "cheater".
"Well you better show a clean game, Shiryu from Saint Seiya and representative of the Chinese Dragon Miraculous, because you're next and the final athlete !" Reminded Kreese.
Shiryu takes up a javelin and twirls it before he dashes for the white line and throws the javelin.
"51.343 meters!" Ty said.
"And that's all folks. Gold goes to Chimchar, Silver is Marcus and Bronze is Boss from "Team Hamtaro". Sylvester said. "And that concludes all of today's events. Tomorrow...is our final day!". Reminded Kreese.
