All right, how about we switch families for a chapter and see how this one functions a little. We'll be working from the perspectives of the impossible ship, because they can't breed together, anyways. Enjoy!)
Yasuo was building his blocks around and waiting for Dada to come and play with him and the blocks. "Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's…" Yasuo was doing the voices of his little figures and toys, before standing up and looking what he imagined to be brave. "Have no fear, good big cities! I'm a big brave hero! The Bestest Hero of all time, Yasuo the Hero!" The Oshawott had said, happily and triumphantly. Ahonui couldn't help but chuckle. "Hero, huh? Well then, it's time for me to ruin your city then, Mr. Hero!" Ahonui roared throughout the city and pretended to be stomping through the downtown. "No! Stay away from the city, you big meanie doggy!" Yasuo said, rushing in.
"You…You think I'm a meanie, son?" Ahonui asked, almost innocently. "U-Uh oh. Dada, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to—" Yasuo said to his daddy, "Just kidding, puppy." Ahonui said, beginning to roar at the city. "Hey, don't hurt the people, Da-Uh I mean, you big meanie doggy!" Yasuo was more mad, his Dad had tricked him into feeling sorry for him. "No, I need to make sure you can't be a good big hero." The Lycanroc said, "I'm gonna destroy this city!" Ahonui did a villainous laugh to then getting interrupted by Miyo. "What is going on in here?" Miyo asked her husband and son. "Momma! You ruined the game! I was about to kick Dada's butt!" Yasuo said, complaining about the game. "I didn't ruin a thing, puppy. Now then, it's time for school, soon." All the Oshawott did was whine and complain about the school. "Why can't I just build stuff like Dada does?" Oshawott said.
"I don't just build with building blocks, puppy. I build with a lot of the metal stuff you see in the garage. And rocks." Ahonui explain to his son. "Yeah, but you don't need school for that, do you?" Yasuo asked.
"Nonsense, Yasuo. I had to go school to learn how to build things." Ahonui then checked the time. "We'll finish this discussion, later." Ahonui kissed his son and got ready for work. "See you later, honey!" Ahonui kissed his wife on her cheek. "Bye, love."
(Later in the day with Ahonui)
Ahonui was excited to get to the stadium—or would-soon-to-be stadium at the very least. He saw an Gabe was already there, "Gabe! Sorry, am I late?" He asked the Bellibolt, "No, we're fine. I was worried I had to start without you." Gabe had told the Lycanroc. Ahonui just chuckled a bit, "All right, let's get cracking, how did Mr. Marcus want the foundation?" He asked. "Talk to Mao about that, he has the team on standby." Gabe told his friend. Ahonui nodded and was ready to get to work.
Ahonui chuckled and used his powers to create pillars. "Rock Slide!" Ahonui grabbed and made boulders to create supports for the beams of the stadium. "That should do it while we get everything in place." Ahonui says to his friend, "Good, soon, we can gather all the materials for the metal around the wall." Gabe said, "I'll start setting up the other pillars around the area." Ahonui said, getting back to work.
(After a short break)
Ahonui and Gabe laughed a little, "And then I launched Hiroshi into the pool from the trampoline!" Ahonui, recalling a memory he and his brother had. "You guys are outrageous. Well, I guess I see where you got that once fighter spirit from." Gabe told him.
Ahonui chuckled, "Yeah, Hiro and I used to do fight all the time, but…I'unno, I got into the Octagon for a little bit when I was in my mid-twenties…" Ahonui tried to recall his own past. "That's behind me, now. I mean, why break things when you can build, y'know?" Ahonui chuckled.
"I suppose. So, what? Does the Ito family just "build" its own families, now?" Gabe asked the Lycanroc. "You can make fun of me all you want, but it's tradition in the family, kind of." Ahonui explained. "How is adopting a child a family tradition?" Gabe asked.
"Well, my mom and dad took me in when I was three, they said our family likes to branch out to not just one Pokemon. That it's how we can connect with each other." Ahonui explained to the Bellibolt. "And besides, me and my wife…aren't compatible to have our own baby." Ahonui replied sadly. It was one of the things he often remembered about him and Miyo. They weren't compatible to have biological children, which is another reason why they decided to take in Yasuo when he was a baby.
"Eh, I suppose that all makes sense, then. So, anyways, how is Yasuo?" Gabe asked, deciding to change the subject. "Oh, well. He's finally in kindergarten, and he should be learning how to write words now." Ahonui said, happily. His little puppy was growing up and learning, and so fast. He and Miyo can't keep up.
(More later)
Ahonui was walking home from work, listening to music on his phone. Yasuo almost got into a fight in kindergarten today, and he sighed. "Sheesh, puppy, you really do take after your old man." Ahonui said. "Here's hoping he finds something more productive to do in the future." Ahonui always took a liking to the idea of creation and building. Sure, he idolized fighting when he was younger, but he began to kinda view as paid destruction, which wasn't necessarily a big deal to most people. More or less, the Lycanroc realized God may have had better plans for him. "Well, well, well. It took me a long while to find ya, Ahonui." He heard a voice from behind, and in front of him stood a Kommo-o, "Oh, it's you. Uh….Kekoa, right?" Ahonui said. "Ah, so you DO remember me? Well, that fact you had nearly forgotten must've said a lot about any memories we had in the Octagon." Kekoa explained.
"I couldn't forget you, dude. You were a few ranks higher than me, but we were pretty much rivals!" Ahonui said, chuckling a bit.
Kekoa saw into his eyes and attitude. "I see you've changed your tune a bit." Kekoa had said. "Yeah, well, I've gotta do other things now. Can't get excited about fighting like I used to. Anyways, it was nice to see you." Kekoa could see that his rival seemed different now, he'd have to ask about it. "All right. We can catch up another time. You know where I'll be." Ahonui nodded when he started walking home.
(He's finally back home)
"Honey, I'm home!" Ahonui said, brushing a bit of his fur. "Dada! Dada! You're home!" Yasuo had said, excitedly. "Hey, puppy. How was school today?" He asked, and Yasuo lit up. "It went good! But…I sorta got in trouble." Yasuo said, "Huh…honest right off the back, son?"
Lycanroc knelt down to his child's height. "I have to tell you, because Momma will be mad if I don't." The little Oshawott said. "What happened?" Ahonui asked. "My friends were fighting over their berries, and I wanted to make them stop fighting each other, so I pushed them to the ground." Yasuo explained. Ahonui sighed, "Well, I see it now. Yasuo, you remember what I said, right?" He asked his child, "I know. Momma already said I can't solve stuff with more fighting. She told me I shoulda told the teacher." Ahonui gently patted his son's head. He understood why fighting was his first instinct. Adopted though he may be, Yasuo took after his Momma and Dada a lot. Taking after his Dada's fighter spirit and his Momma's love and kindness.
Yasuo was like the merge of both of them, even if he can be a little reckless. "Yeah, your mother's right, puppy. I appreciate that you wanted to do a good things, but next time, try to handle things differently, okay? Let a teacher know and they'll put a stop to it." Ahonui gave advice to his son. "Okay, Dada. Come on, let's go play building blocks! I wanna make a jungle!" Yasuo said. "Hahah, okay, puppy! Just let me put some stuff down and I'll be with you in a minute." Ahonui says.
(That night)
Ahonui and Miyo sat in their bed, watching tv and talking about their day. "Yeah, I ran into Kekoa from the Octagon earlier today." Ahonui said, "I think he realized I'm done with fighting." Miyo nodded. "Well, I'm sure we'd be still okay if you were, honey. I know you used to love fighting a lot." Miyo said, folding her arms. "I know I did, but I love you and Yasuo more than that. Besides, I'm well past it. I find better fulfillment with my family and building." The Lycanroc explained.
"I know you do, 'Hon. Still, I just hope you're still okay and happy, you know?" Miyo said. "Come on, what could it offer me, anyways? A few concussions and memory loss?" Ahonui said, "That's nothing to you or your kindness, dear."
Miyo blushed a little, "I-I suppose."
Ahonui held out his hand for his wife to grab, "I'd rather make memories with you and our puppy than lose them while fighting." Ahonui smiled, gently. He kissed his wife on the cheek. "'Hon!" Miyo just chuckled, nervously. "Oh? S-Sorry, dear." Ahonui said. "No, no, it's okay. Come on, let's watch a romantic comedy." Ahonui nodded, lying down next to his wife. He then thought about something,
"Honey, do you ever wish we could…have a child?" Ahonui asked. Miyo looked over to her husband, "I mean…I know I do, sometimes. But I shouldn't wish for that…if we want another baby, we can adopt, I'm sure." Miyo said, smiling. "Besides, we already have our baby." Ahonui smiled, calmly. "Yeah, I suppose you're right."
"Momma, you're gonna have a baby?!" A young Oshawott's voice came from the doorways.
"Yasuo, you're supposed to be in bed." Ahonui said to his son, "Sorry, sweetie, Momma's not having a baby." Miyo said. "Aww…Dada, can I sleep in here tonight?" Yasuo asked his Dada. "Sure, puppy. Only if you actually go to sleep." Ahonui sat up and let Yasuo get on the bed. The Lycanroc picked up his baby and prepared to rock him to sleep a little. "Are you ever gonna have a baby in the future, Dada?" Yasuo asked, curiously. "Mmm…Maybe someday, God-willing." Ahonui said, "But that's something me and Momma have to decide, puppy, okay?" Miyo looked at her husband. "Okay, Dada. Good night." The young Oshawott said. Ahonui and Miyo kissed their baby good night and decided to turn in for it themselves as well.
(Okay, and this is Ahonui's story! I really liked writing it, and I hope u guys will like it. I DID kinda base his character on Cas from Bee & Puppycat and tried to give the work ethic an entirely different ideal. I really hope it works for the character. I'll figure out how to write more characters later. If there r any ideas, lemme know, I love hearing constructive criticism and feedback. Anyways, stay strong and awesome!)
Psalm 59:16 KJV:
But I will sing of thy power; Yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: For thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
