Hammerbarn

Cedric Diggory knew they wouldnt live in Cannistrailia forever. They had to go back to Europe soon so he could enroll at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry when the time came in a few years. He'd finish out the school year here and the family would pack up and leave Cannistrailia to re establish themselves in Europe, Shame really. He'd made some good friends with the muggle pups and Cannistrailia was a beautiful country.

"Cedric!" The teacher called him over.

"Yea Miss Calypso?" The English Collie asked.

"We've finally got a buddy for you for Buddy Day." The shepard female said. She had a small Beagle pup behind her.

Cedrics eyes popped as soon as he saw him. There was no mistaking him. His Dad had pictures of him and James from James Potter's days in the Auror Department. This was Harry Potter! What was he doing here in Glass House Primary school?

"This is Harry Heeler." Calypso introduced the pup.

"Heeler." Cedric said in seeming confusion. "Sorry he just looks like someone in my Dads photos." He looked over to the little Blue Heeler girl Bluey who was his classmates Buddy. "Any relation?"

"Cousins." Calypso said. "He was recently adopted by Bluey's paternal uncle and his wife from a nasty situation."

should I tell Dad? Cedric asked himself. "Hi." He said. "My names Cedric. Cedric Diggory. Want to go play on the swings?"

"Okay." The pup nervously said. He walked with his fellow englishman away from his teacher.

Cedric started pushing Harry with Bluey being pushed by Cedric's classmate. He smiled and laughed with her. Which in turn made Cedric feel relieved. He knew how important the pup was to his and his family's world. Even if he didnt know yet.

"How do you like the Heelers?" Cedric asked later in the day as they where waiting for pickup.

"I love them. They've given me a home and made me one of them." Harry said. "Mum and Dad are my Forever Parents now. Like Nana and Grandad Bob became my Dads Forever Parents when he was little."

BEEP BEEP.

"Harry!" Came a older man's voice.

Cedric looked over to see Bluey and a younger red Heeler, her sister in the car.

"Thats my Uncle Bandit. Bye Cedric!" Harry said.

Cedric watched the older Heeler pick Harry up and buckle him into a safety seat which given his small size made sense. He looked happy.

Nah. Shouldnt rock that barky boat. Cedric thought as his own Dad Amos walked up.

"Ready to go?" The older English Collie asked.

Cedric smiled and walked with his dad so they could find a spot to disapparate home.

Harry looked out the window and weirdly Cedric and his dad were no where to be found.

Bandit and Chili where babysitting Harry while Frisky rested for her upcoming Night Shift and Rad worked some overtime. They where playing in the backyard when they smelled cooking pizza.

Pat the next door neighbor had bought a pizza oven! It smelled really good

"We're going to Hammerbarn." Bandit said.

"Hammerbarn!" Bingo and Bluey said eagerly.

Harry looked up at Chili in confusion. "Hammerbarn?"

"Its a bulk buy store where you can also buy household things like paint and garden gnomes."

"Oooohhh." Harry said as he walked out with her.

Harry admired the paint swatch wall with Bluey and Bingo for a moment recognizing some colors from his marker colored pencil and crayon sets. Then he went off with Bandit to find the Pizza ovens. Finding a neat Spongebob night light for his bathroom. Uncle Bandit was talking with the guy about the ovens when they heard it.

"BLUUUEEEEYYYYYY!!!!!" Chili's scream could be heard through the store.

Harry's ears fell.

"Oh boy." Bandit said.

"This is why you should be grateful for what you got! Someone's husband eventually gets it!" Chili emphasised Gets it by hitting her palm.

Harry suddenly had flashbacks.

"You are going to get it when we get home." An angry bulldog growls dangerously as he drags along a tiny toddler beagle in the grocery store. He got concerned looks.

"Uh mate. Yer kid okay?" The salesman asked.

Bandit looked down and saw Harry looking scared and holding his ears. He hid under the Pizza Oven where wood would be stacked.

"Oh boy. Hang on a second." Bandit called Chili. "Chili." Bandit said on the phone. "We got an issue."

"Come on Girls." Chili said. They went to find Bandit and Harry where the pizza ovens lived.

"Oh." She saw Harry holding his ears and hiding under the pizza oven.

"Happened when he heard "Someone's husband eventually gets it." Bandit said. "My guess is You Know Who used that turnaphrase as a t h r e a t alot."

The salesmans eyes looked wide

"Whats that word?" Bingo asked .

"Its not a good one." Bluey said. "His old family was very mean."

"Oh dear." Bingo said sympathetically.

"Harry love." Chili bent on one knee.

Harry flinched.

Chili felt like kicking herself. She was used to yelling at her pups occasionally. Children do naughty things after all. But she never does it with ill intentions.

"Harry I would never hurt you." Chili pulled him into a hug.

"You promise?" Harry asked.

"I promise." Chili promised as Harry relaxed in her arms. She hugged the beagle pup.

The family visibly relaxed as well.

"We'll take the Oven." Bandit said to the salesman. "You all right mate?"

The salesman was tearing up.

"I'm good. Cash or Card?" The Doberman Pinscher said as he wiped his eyes.

Later after the Oven had been setup and Ingredients had been put together, the family was enjoying home made brick oven pizza.

"Is there any left?"

"Dad!" Harry ran to Rad and hugged him. No longer in his office clothes Rad joined the family at the picnic table.

"He didnt make pineapple did he?" Rad asked as he got a drink from the cooler.

Bandit glares. "I will die on this hill."

"Oh the tablets ringing!" Chili said goign to get it.

"Harry! someone wants to say hi before work!"

"Mum!" Harry said as he saw Frisky at the Hospital in her nurses uniform. She was working Night Shift tonight thats why Chili and Bandit where babysitting Harry today.

"Did you have a good afternoon?"

"We went to Hammerbarn!" The beagle pup said excitedly as he Bluey and Bingo crowded the tablet. The pup telling Frisky anout their afternoon adventure, showing her his new Spongebob nightlight.

The Sign has not happened yet but Rad and Frisky are living together. I will be dedicating a two chapter arc to The Sign. But legally Rad and Frisky are Harry's mother and father despite them not being married just yet. They are engaged though.
