"I am Groot, I am Groot." Casey heard Branchie asking her. "Uh-huh, I'm fine Branchie just drawing stuff like Grandpa Marshmallow told us about." Casey told her noticing the magenta-furred girl asking if she could sit with them seeing Casey nodding seeing her sit down beside Branchie. "I'm Crystal by the way and sorry the other kids are mean to you." she told her making Casey nod.
"Yeah, but Rockie was talking to Mr McCoy so maybe they'll stop." Casey said to her but they were bonding surprising their teacher that they were becoming friends which made sense since Casey was the only raccoon kid in class like Crystal being the only magical kid in class plus hoped this was a good thing especially as recess was approaching hoping things would go okay.
"You're not going out for recess guys." Casey heard Mr McCoy asking seeing Casey and Crystal nodding. He had no problem with that seeing Casey going to where the books were finding her favourite book, the Big Book of Hero Stories making Branchie smirk sitting near her as she loved, when the female-kit read aloud surprising Crystal, that Casey could read by herself making Branchie nod. "I am Groot, I am Groot." she said making Crystal confused.
"She speaks Groot, all she can say is I am Groot, Crystal but I can teach you how to understand Groot." Casey told her
"Sure, that way, Iunderstand what she's saying, Casey." Crystal said making the female-kit grin at that but saw the other kids come back inside after recess stunned they'd had indoor recess making Casey shrug her shoulders not wanting to tell them why hoping Rocket was having a good day.
"Daddy, is Casey back from kindergarten.. Because when she does, then we can play together." Rocket heard an excited squeaky voice say turning around seeing his son, RJ there wearing his favourite shirt with jeans making him smile. "Not yet buddy and you'll probably will be having your nap by the time she gets home. Plus she might not be in the mood to play." Rocket said making the three year old male-kit frown like Rocket hearing about naps.
Rocket Junior or RJ as everybody in their family called him was Rocket's youngest kit and like his big sis, Shocket he had his dad'ssmarts but sweet despite having a attitude sometimes but Rocket had decided that RJ should live with him and Casey plus Rocket had made a room for him upstairs across from Branchie and Casey's room making it warm and inviting along with Herbert teleporting RJ's stuff and toys from Wondergore only Rocket hadn't told Casey yet but RJ was ready for preschool but Rocket had him on the wait list for the preschool class at Xavier's so he was happy to hang out with RJ during the day knowing soon, it would be RJ's naptime so was trying to get RJ settled for naps making lunch for him.
"Thanks pops, the lunch is really good." RJ said with his mouth full making Rocket sighing. "RJ we don't talk with our mouth full remember and swallow okay." Rocket told him. "Sorry daddy." he said making Rocket chuckle at this but after a while, the male-kit was getting sleepy leading him upstairs to his room tucking him in with his Kyle REN stuffie telling him a story then kissing his furry lil head before leaving his room guessing now, he could have some quiet time before having to pick Branchie and Casey from kindergarten but after a while, he was doing that explaining they had to be quiet because RJ was taking his nap impressing Casey asking if he was visiting.
"We'll talk about it when we get home, kiddo." Rocket told her making her and Branchie get it.
