Kim Possible: A New Sitch
Chapter 6: Preparations and a New House
One morning, Kim and Ron were packing some suitcases. It was just four days before they'd have Kim's birthday party. What's more is that construction of the new Possible house had already been completed. But despite being able to move into a new house, Kim was adamant that she wanted to stay with Ron especially since the two crime-fighting lovers were getting married. Kim said she wanted to continue staying with Ron at his house, but then Ron offered to move in with Kim into the new Possible house. Kim was surprised by this, but accepted Ron's offer. Both of their families were more than happy with it as well.
Right now, they were packing some last things to prepare for the move.
"Well, I think that's the last of the stuff, KP," Ron announced.
"Excellent, Ronnie," Kim responded. "Now we just have to pack our suitcases into the sloth and we'll be off to the new house."
"It'll be badical moving in with you and your family, KP," Ron said with a big smile.
"You know, Ron, I'm still surprised that you'd wanna move in with us," Kim spoke. "I mean, this isn't exactly my old house we're moving into. And your family would miss you, especially Hana."
"I know, KP," Ron responded. "But I really think that your new house will be better for us to have your birthday party and for us to live in until we go to college. We are getting married after all. And I will be visiting my family every day. If you don't mind going with me everyday, of course."
Kim smiled, "Of course, Ronnie. And I'm really happy nevertheless that you're moving in with me. No matter what house I live in, I'll never be complete without you."
Ron started tearing up, "You complete me too, KP."
The two crime-fighting lovers leaned in and started kissing.
Just then, the voice of Kim's dad was heard.
"Kimmie-cub! Ronald! Are you almost done up there?!"
Kim and Ron reluctantly separately.
"Coming, Daddy!" Kim called.
"Well, I guess we better get moving, huh, KP?" Ron suggested.
Kim chuckled, "Yes, we should, Ron."
Kim and Ron were loading their suitcases into the sloth while Kim's parents and brothers were loading their things into their car.
"Well, KP, that's the last of the stuff!" Ron announced.
"And now we're off to the new house," Kim added.
"Kimmie-cub, are you ready?" Kim's dad, James called over from the other car.
"We're ready, Dad!" Kim called back.
"Alright, we'll be going in front and you can follow us down to the rebuilt house!" James announced.
"The moving van should be getting there very soon," Ann added.
"You got it, Drs. P!" Ron called out.
"Brudder!" Ron suddenly heard the voice of his baby sister, Hana call out to him.
Ron looked over to see his mom, Olivia carrying Han in her arms.
"Hana just wanted to say one last goodbye to her big brother," Olivia explained.
Ron smiled as he walked over to his mom and sister.
"Don't you worry, Han," Ron spoke softly. "As soon as I'm done moving into Kim's new house, we'll come right back to visit. You can count on that."
Ron tickled Han's chin to which she giggled.
"I'll see you both later," Ron said as he waved and walked away.
"Goodbye, Ronnie," Olivia said as she waved back. "Be safe."
"Mom, you don't need to say that. I'll be right around the corner," Ron pointed out.
"I know, but it just seemed like the thing to say," Olivia said.
Ron nodded and smiled knowing his mother had a point.
He then walked back over to the sloth and got into the passenger seat. Kim got into her driver seat.
"Alright, KP, ready to go?" Ron asked.
"Ferociously ready, Ronnie," Kim answered with a big smile. "To our new house, we go."
With that, Kim's parents and brothers started driving while Kim and Ron followed close behind.
Soon, the Possibles and Ron arrived at the completely rebuilt Possible house. They parked both cars next to the curb. Kim and Ron stepped out of the sloth and took in the sight of the new house. It looked completely brand new. And big.
"Woah… look at this place, Ronnie," Kim said with a look of awe on her face.
"Gotta admit, it's a badical house, KP," Ron spoke.
"Definitely perfect for all of us," Kim responded.
Kim's parents and brothers climbed out of their car and also took in the sight of the newly rebuilt Possible house.
"Yep… looks like the construction crews did a really good job, am I right, hon?" James addressed his wife.
"They sure did, James," Ann responded. "And look… there's the moving van, right now!"
Sure enough, the moving with all the stuff for the new house arrived and backed into the driveway.
"Welp… time to get started with moving in," James announced.
"Way ahead of you, James," Ann responded.
"Yeah!" Jim and Tim shouted in unison.
"Get ready to start unpacking, Kimmie!" Ann called over to Kim.
"You got it, mom!" Kim called. She turned to Ron. "Alright, Ron, let's get to it."
"Right behind ya, KP," Ron responded.
With that, Kim and Ron and the rest of the Possibles went to begin moving stuff into their new house.
Meanwhile, Monique was working another shift at Club Banana. Since Kim didn't have a shift there at the moment, Monique was on her own for the day. She was standing behind the front desk when she saw Tara and Hope come into the store.
"Hey, Tara! Hey, Hope!" Monique called over to the two cheerleaders.
"Shh! Keep your voice down, Monique!" Hope said hastily.
"What's the matter?" Monique asked in confusion.
"We just don't want Bonnie to know we're here," Tara answered.
"What, do you think she's stalking you or something?" Monique asked with a raised eyebrow.
"She could be," Hope replied.
"Or someone might be doing it for her," Tara added.
"We just don't want to take chances in case she's suspicious of our 'family trips' story," Hope explained.
"I still can't believe you actually worked up the nerve to straight up lie to her like that," Monique commented with an amused expression.
"Neither do we," Hope said.
"And if she finds out we're really going to Kim's birthday party, we'll be in serious trouble," Tara says nervously.
"Still don't have the courage to tell her off yet, huh?" Monique said.
Hope sighed, "No… unfortunately."
"We just don't have the courage to tell her to leave us alone yet," Tara added in frustration. "Even after all the stupid stuff she's done, like, cheating at the homecoming game, trying to steal Ron from Kim, making us fall down just to answer calls from Brick…!"
"And top that with the fact that now she's dating a super rich guy who also happens to be one of those villains Kim always faces," Hope pointed out.
"Hey, calm down, girls," Monique said with her hands raised. "Relax, Bonnie never has to know that you're hanging out with us. And since all of the cheerleaders will be going their separate ways soon, you won't have to worry about Bonnie bossing you around anymore."
Tara and Hope still had nervous looks on their faces.
"I hope so," Tara said nervously.
"So you're definitely coming to Kim's birthday party?" Monique inquired.
Tara and Hope nodded.
"Yep," The two girls said in unison.
"And we're getting the rest of the squad to come too," Tara added.
Monique chuckled, "Well, Kim will be very happy about that. And so will Ron."
"By the way, what are Kim and Ron doing?" Hope inquired. "We haven't seen them all day."
"Oh, those two and the rest of Kim's family are moving into their new house," Monique answered.
"Oh, cool," Tara said. "I'm certainly glad Kim's house was fixed after those freaky alien robots smashed it to pieces."
"I still can't believe Kim and Ron are getting married," Hope pointed out.
"Yeah, me neither," Tara responded. "I knew those two were really important to each other, but I didn't think they'd want to take this big a step in their relationship so soon."
"Well, knowing those two lovebirds, I'm not really surprised," Monique pointed out. "They did just get attacked by aliens after all."
Tara shrugged, "That's a good point."
"Well, all the same, we wish the best for them," Hope spoke.
"Thanks a million, girl," Monique said with a smile.
As Tara and Hope walked out of Club Banana, they were unaware that they were being watched from afar, by two men who were pretending to read newspapers.
One of the men took a radio out of his pocket and spoke into it.
"Senior, this is Treachery," The man known as Treachery spoke. "Evil and I are still watching those two girls just like you asked. They are walking out of Club Banana as we speak."
"Have you heard them say anything?" Senior's voice came from the radio.
"No, we can't get close enough to hear them without getting noticed," Treachery responded.
"Bonnie needs more concrete evidence than that," Senior spoke. "Try harder!"
"Yes, sir," Treachery responded.
Meanwhile, at Senior's lair, Senor Senior Senior had just ended the call with his henchmen.
"Hey, Senior!" Bonnie's voice came.
Senior looked to see his son, Senor Senior Junior and his girlfriend Bonnie Rockwaller coming toward him.
"So, have your henchmen gotten any dirt on Tara and Hope yet?" Bonnie asked with anticipation in her voice.
"So far, my men have uncovered nothing," Senior spoke dejectedly.
"Nothing at all?!" Bonnie spoke frustratedly. "I know those two are up to something and I want to know what it is!"
"All that we know so far is that your two friends have been to the mall and are just now walking out of Club Banana," Senior informed.
"Hmmm…" Bonnie said with a thoughtful expression. "Club Banana, huh? Monique works there. And so does Kim."
"What are you suggesting, my love?" Junior inquired.
"My two best friends are definitely conspiring with Kim about something!" Bonnie said with a bitter expression. "And I'm not going to rest until I find out what it is."
Bonnie turned to Senior. "Make sure, Evil and Treachery keep watching those two at all times, got it, Senior?"
Senior nodded, "Of course, Bonnie."
"Oh, I just love it when you boss people around, my love," Junior gushed.
Bonnie smirked, "Oh really. In that case, be a good boy and take me out to dinner tonight. And you're paying for all of it."
"At once, my love," Junior said as he held out his hand and Bonnie took it.
The two then strode out of Senior's lair.
Senior then gained a thoughtful expression.
"Yes… she is pretty bossy, isn't she," Senior said to himself. "Almost as bossy as a super-villain…"
After a long day of moving stuff into the new house, Kim and Ron sat down on their new bed.
"Well, Kim… we're finished," Ron spoke.
"And now we get to have our first night in our new home," Kim said with a big smile.
Ron had a big grin on his face, "I'm certainly looking forward to that, my badical fiance."
"Me too, Ronnie," Kim cooed.
The two crime-fighting lovers leaned in and kissed passionately.
As soon as they separated, Kim spoke.
"Thanks again for moving in with me, Ronnie," Kim said with a grateful smile. "It really means a lot to me. You didn't really have to do that, you know."
"Hey, KP, we're getting married," Ron pointed out. "And we promised each other that we would stay with you no matter where we are. And I intend to keep that promise."
"Me too, Ronnie. Me too," Kim cooed.
Kim and Ron continued to embrace happily before Ron broke the silence.
"So, KP…" Ron spoke up. "Now that we've moved into your new house, we should start making preparations for your birthday party, right?"
Kim nodded, "Yes, Ronnie. We'll start getting things ready for the party tomorrow."
"I bet your first post-graduation birthday party will be badical, KP," Ron speculated.
"Hehe, yeah," Kim said. She suddenly looked nervous. "As long as no villain tries to spoil it. I mean, Cousin Larry did get kidnapped by Dementor on his birthday once."
"Hey, don't worry, KP," Ron spoke. "As long as we're together, I'm sure we can handle any villain who'd want to spoil your birthday."
Kim chuckled, "You're right, Ron. So not the drama."
"So, Kim, what do you want to do now?" Ron asked.
Kim smirked, "I can think of a few things."
To be continued…
