I walk to the guild hall, grab something to eat and go for the quest board there a few jobs caught my attention, reading each until someone put the arm around my shoulders, feeling uncomfortable i use my arm to tear him from me and i turn to face him, the man started speaking " we didn't have the opportunity to meet earlier, I am Troval and the other two behind me are Joline and Cristofer we are team silver fox. We were discussing allowing you to join our prestigious team, after all you are strong enough to face Gajeel". Soon a bunch of people were all around making offers to work together or to join their teams, in their eyes clear greed and interesse, I quickly took a job and pushed past the wave of people who gave the job to the receptionist and left the guild.
No Pov:
"This kid think he's too good for us we should teach him a lesson" spoke Cristofer, "I saw the job he got, let's attack him in the woods after battling the giants wolfs he got a nasty job to do alone" commented Troval, " we could save him from the wolfs and make him glad for our assistance this also give accesses to one of the element 4" spoke Joline, "let's go then" spoke Troval. On other tables different conversations about the new kid, discussions with him about someone's son or the family paid his place on the guild, the guild was discussing the kid and their opinions of him.
Altair Pov:
I went to barracks to ask about the job, they explained about the giant wolfs, this species are 4 meters that normally comes in pack to 4 to 5 wolfs, the guards told me that this pack was spotted attacking a man and animals nearby and only 3 were spotted, besides the the fact of their great nose, they have great speed and strength. After his explanation I realized this job is going to be complicated, after a while I decided to go to the butcher to buy meat, the idea that I came up with was to use the meat to create a trap.
I went to the forest, after walking into the direction that the pack was spotted I looking for tracks on the floor, after a while walking getting closer to the place of the attack finally spotting something, large paw prints and damaged trees and branches, claw marks after spotting this i decided to go northwest to place the trap. All the attacks were made at night, so I located a clearing and built my trap, prepared a campfire and put the meat on sticks made out of wood and started cooking, and I placed myself away on top of the largest tree around the area and waited for the attack.
After a few minutes I heard noises that came from the wolves. They arrived very fast, when they rushed in I quickly cast "Crystal God Bellow" two of the three wolfs, were caught on the spell, the first of them had most body trapped. He was at the very front, the second his front legs and part of his torso. I focused on finishing the second wolf I casted "Crystal God Spear", a purple crystal spear rushed in place of the hand rushes piercing the skull of the second wolf and a wave of blood started leaking. Right after that the third rushed to strike me, casting "Crystal God Foot" to pierce his body from below stabbing his foots and body, returning my arm i rushed into the direction of the third wolf while the first wolf was still stuck in place, casting "Crystal God Sword" i cutted the body in half, finally a jumped at the third performing an ax kick "Crystal God Axe" cutting the head of the third wolf.
The job only spoke of three wolves, only them appeared. As such the job was completed knowing that I prepared myself to leave until I felt a sharp pain from behind as I got pushed forward. Three people appeared from the woods. I recognized them as the team silver fox, the one that attacked me was Troval his hand was in a pistol position, "what is the problem newbie, can't you take a hit" " Dual Bullet" he casted with hand still in position two very fast projectiles came in my direction.
I rolled to the side dodging the attack, following suit Joline casted "Purple Net" a net of purple fire rushed in my direction to counter i cut it down with "Crystal God Sword" and rushed in Joline direction, striking with my sword hand until a shield appeared blocking my strike it was Cristofer, Troval followed this opportunity going to my left and casted "Spark Bullet", I was sent back getting shocked by the attack but i cast on my other arm "Crystal God Spear" it rushed forward sending Troval back and injuring him.
Getting up and looking at the situation realizing that a plan is needed,I rushed back on the forest, both Troval and Joline casted "Dual Bullet", "Purple Rain" the fell for my faint, I casted "Crystal God Shield" joining my hands together a purple crystal shield formed on the front blocking their spells, making this shield more fragile it broke apart giving a clear shot to my magic "Crystal God Bellow", the wave of magic hit them, the three of them got their body parts imprison in crystal rushing ahead I casted "Crystal God Shooting Crystals" several small and pointy crystal shards launched from my mouth at great speed knocking and injuring them.
The battle was mostly finished they were bleeding and their clothes were torn apart, looking down on them I spoke, "you three started and lost this battle, if you know was good for you don't ever try again or it will be worse", I move past them they were speaking to me but i ignored got the pelts and fangs and went to town. After a while walking through the forest I arrived at the barracks and reported the completion, walking further I reached a store and sold the fangs and pelts, after that went to the guild and reported the completion and brought diner, while eating the three returned with a lot of injures, some members hold back their laughter, others asked questions but all knew that they got defeated by me, I gave a glance at them and they shiver the rest of meal was quiet with no interruption.
After that I returned home, washed myself and my clothes and started reading some books that were on the shelf of Totomaru home. The book was a hunting manual that told about the creatures present in the continent of Fiore, after reading some pages i went to sleep.
Totomaru Pov:
The element 4 is a group of S class wizards, the strongest group in the guild, it doesn't mean that we like eachother company, on the contrary we only go to jobs together if we are required to do so, from the beginning i don't work well with Juvia, it is always torrential rain with her around terrible for a fire mage, Sol and Aria work better with my set of skills but their personality is way to flamboyant making any job together an unpleasant experience, Gajeel at the very least doesn't talk much but loves to fight far more manageable in my opinion .
This S class job is going to be fast. The longest part in my opinion is the 2 week trip to arrive. The dark guild is not far and is one the smaller members of the Balam Alliance called Spirit Wraith, this dark guild is known to have 30 members none famous, we arrived near the known area that the guild was found.
We walked further until reaching the door Gajeel as always rushed smashing the door, the rest of us rushed in after him, the members were not very strong in general my different types of flames dealt with many of them, Aria and Sol were next to me dealing with some members Juvia was forward drowning some members and Gajeel was smashing people around after a while we defeated all of them that were here.
The magic council collected everyone we defeated, we didn't talk except Gajeel grunts of complaint of boredom or how easy it was. We collected the reward and returned to the train not talking much to each other like every job before, the Phantom Lord is not a guild where the members have big relationships, for me the guild is just a way to make money and use the magic my mentor taught me.
