26

Height:

Almost 7 feet tall. Close to 2.1 m.

Hair:

Blonde. Short.

Deep green color.

Skin:

Fair peach, but with a few scars here and there.

Particularities:

Very to the point, usually not to the level of being hurtful, but he is very direct. Most people consider him just r ude.

Generally, if he is by himself and doing whatever, he looks like a damn usually happens because he has been in a fight, has ended up tasting dirt (unless he is paying attention he is not exactly the most dexterous), or he is just using old clothes he doesn't want to throw away.

Extremely judgemental of fairweather people, to the point of despising such personalities. While everyone in the family tends to value loyalty, Javier takes it to the extreme. He isn't as violent as others when someone goes back on their word, but you better believe he can hold a grudge much better and become vindictive in a more 'delicate' way.

Unlike most in his family, he never had any desire to have children. This may change in the future, but it is one detail that eats him with worry, thinking something is wrong with him.

Has taken his arrival in Hell and his grandmother's betrayal worse than anyone else. Unlike his cousin Rosa however, he has internalized it. Whatever may be going on in his mind is not getting out… And no one will know until he wants them to.

Interests:

Training. Above all else, Javier is a very physically minded man. He aims to be the best he can be when it comes to a physical condition and he has developed an interest that goes beyond health to having it as almost a hobby.

Building and destroying things is also cathartic to the man. While creating anything from simple furniture to aiding with repairs or proper construction is something he loves, even if he doesn't say so out loud, the pleasure of destroying something until there is nothing but dust is also there. If he were to admit to this, he'd also say he is ashamed about his more destructive interest.

Similar to his brother, he likes miniatures. Unlike his brother, he likes miniatures for wargaming purposes. He is no great strategist, he just loves thinking about the mayhem within the game. It is a more 'cerebral way' of feeding his destructive needs.

Opposed to his brother: Pure fantasy, but mostly in games. Book worthy? He prefers more 'realistic' stories.

Magic Affinity (If Applicable):

Water (Primary - Focus element)

Earth (Secondary - Use element)

Augmenter: Armor self.

Attire:

Unlike anyone else in his family: He gives zero shits.

Almost any clothes that can withstand a lot of abuse are preferred. Usually ratty apparel that is made to last long. Comfort is secondary.

He uses clothes for as long as they survive. Considering his physique, the many fights he tends to get into, and the many times he just trips and kisses asphalt, 'survive' may be too strong a word.

Generally you'll see him with pants that have holes, scuffed shirt, damaged jackets and so on. The only thing he truly takes care of, is his shoes.

Said shoes are also sturdy and usually reinforced by his uncle Juan. Said reinforcement is usually more along the lines: This should not fall apart now. But it also doubles as a good way to kick people, so it is a win win for him.

Physical:

A massive mountain of a man with almost a perpetual frown in place and disinterested look, Javier is generally stoic and off putting to most people except his family. He is extremely muscular, has a split lip from an old fight, a few scars here and there that came from sparring matches (and a few proper fights) and a crooked nose that never healed correctly after it was broken one too many times. He is tall, strong and looks perhaps a bit like Rocky Balboa, if Rocky had his shit kicked in a bit more often.

Personality:

Protective, loyal to a fault, faithful, strong willed and borderline unstoppable. A modern knight in a way, an executioner if needs must.

A very gentle man to his family, respectful and loyal to the point of also being very inquisitive of who he offers said loyalty to, Javier is the closest thing to a modern knight you could get to. He may be far more foul mouthed than knights of old when he lets himself go, but he will do his best to treat everyone fairly, offer second chances (unless it has to do with betrayal or an attack to his family) and do his best to fight honorably in both spars and any other fight he is in, so long as the one he fights HAS honor of their own. Anyone that attacks the weak, or abuses others, gets to see a much darker personality coming from Javier.

Man of few words he may be, but he is also one meant for action. Generally he will DO more than SAY, more so with people he doesn't trust or know. He is extremely succinct and direct, sometimes being seen as harsh, cruel or just rude, but the fact is that Javier sees it more as a waste of time to make nice when being blunt is just as safe and cuts the shit. This is not to say he is really rude; he just says what he thinks. More often than not he'll be respectful and nice, just a tad too direct. And when it is time to DO something? He'll do the same and cut to the chase as soon as he is able to.

A taciturn person as mentioned, he is however very vocal when chastising his cousins, especially his brother, when they do something stupid. Being more than ready to take a blow in place of almost anyone in his family, this makes sense. While Javier has no problem protecting his family, this doesn't mean he is blind to their faults, or his own. Considering himself the older brother to not only his brother, but everyone else in his age group, including Marcela, he has found himself protecting everyone from more than a few people that were given a compulsion by the Mark of Sin to intent harm on many people he holds dear. As such he is, while not as directly aggressive as Carlos, always on alert and ready to punch someone's lights out or yell at whoever is being an idiot on his family's side.

Learning about Heaven's, and his own family's, actions has put a great starting on his mind. The betrayal of his own grandmother has specially affected him. The faith he held and the beliefs he once professed, while not as strong as Pilar's own, have shaken to his core, almost crumbling. For now he is holding up, but it is clear that, after his arrival in Hell and the test that came after, there is something wrong, or at least brewing, when it comes to Javier…

What song or music would fit him:

Paladin's Resolve, from Michael Gelfi Studios. No big description this time, it just fits him.

Visual Aid (if any):

None yet!
