A/N: Hello, thank you for reading! Okay, a few things before I start this story. The bold/underline/italic is still whackadoodle, hence flashbacks will have {} around them. Also, Loki is very angry, but since I don't swear, I'm using the lighter versions? I don't really know what else to call them. For example, shoot, heck, fudge, dang etcetera.

Thor's skin crawled as he was spat out of the Quantum Realm into Asgard. He never thought he would see his home after Ragnarok. A wave of homesickness hit him as he realized just how much he had lost. His home, his father, his mother, the Warriors Three, Heimdall. Loki. Loki was here. Alive.

"I think I'm going to to the cellars and get some wine." He slurred. Rabbit was not amused.

"Hey! No. We need to get the Reality stone from your lady friend." Jane was here. Thor backed away until he hit the column. Allfathers, he couldn't do this. His breathing was coming thin and fast. He tried to take several deep shaky breaths like Loki taught him- Loki was alive. At least, he was alive here. Allfathers- Rabbit slapped him across the face, hard, with his claws. Ow.

"You need to get ahold of yourself. Look, I know you miss home and your family and you feel like a failure, but thousands, no, billions can have a second chance with their families and friends. Now all of this, this is all gone, but there is a lot that's only kinda sorta gone. So can you get it together so that we can save the universe?" Thor released another shaky breath and nodded. I can do this. Then he saw Mother. I can't do this. Rabbit turned away and Thor bolted.

Running used to be much easier. It was mere desperation to get away from that place that drove him to run until his legs shook and he had to stop. He was at the dungeon doors. Loki. His brother was alive. Just past these doors, down the stairs in the far corner. Thor opened the doors.

A cold draft greeted him as he descended the dim, steep stairs, spiralling around and around and, no they went straight, he was just dizzy. He miscalculated a step and fell down the rest. Thor lay on the floor for a few minutes, debating how much it would hurt if he got up.

His legs wobbled and his head spun, but Thor found he was able to stand and with some assistance from the wall, stumble in the general direction of Loki's cell. Then he stopped as a thought hit him. What did he hope to accomplish by seeing his brother? He would have to leave him behind. Again. It wasn't as if he could take Loki with him. Well, he decided, he could tell him not to go against Thanos with a dagger. Nodding a self affirmation, Thor stumbled to Loki's cell and sat down.

Loki looked extremely puzzled.

"Thor, are you going to explain why you came from the future?"

"What makes you think I'm from the future?"

"When is the last time you had something nonalcoholic? Besides, I was raised by a witch." Fair point.

"I've missed you so much. Brother, you have no idea how much-" Then the anger came.

"Why in the Nine didn't you tell me!?"

"I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific, Thor."

"Stop playing games! Why do you think I'm here? Tell me, Loki, who would be powerful enough to defeat the Avengers, forcing us to go back in time to get the Infinity stones? Why didn't you tell me?!" It must have clicked, because Loki went very still.

"No. No, I did everything right. I assembled a team to defeat him. I lost him two Infinity stones. What do you mean he won?!" Loki had been muttering quietly, but he shouted the last question.

"Just tell me why you didn't tell me."

"Would you have believed me? Honestly, would you have believed me? Even if you did, it wouldn't change a thing. The best as and safest thing to do was to play the villain a little longer. Hope for execution or get imprisoned as an alternative. Besides, when would I have told you? You never visited. Now answer my question, how did he win?"

"Well, I would have to start from today. The Dark Elves live and they-" His voice cracked and died. Even drunk as he was, the memory stood out. {He had came in just as his mother crumpled to the ground, lifeless. He shot Malekith with lightning, powered by rage. He broke into a run, throwing Mjolnir at Kurse as they jumped off. The hammer glanced off Kurse' back. Odin came in and went straight to Mother's side. It was too late.}

"They infiltrated Asgard and killed Mother because of Jane. The Aether, that's why we're here. It's the Reality stone and it got in Jane. I brought Jane here and Mother died protecting her. It's my fault she's dead." He burst into tears, crying like a pathetic little boy.

"Where are they? Dang it Thor, where are they?!" Loki's voice was cold and hard and he was holding two daggers, green acid dripping off of them. Shiskolask venom. The floor burned and sizzled where the acidic venom landed, only for the enchanted floor to repair itself. It dawned to him what Loki planned to do and Thor had to stop and wonder what would happen.

He very vaguely recalled Bruce saying that the past didn't affect the future. Was it possible to kill Kurse before he was Kursed? Could he really change things? Weren't there usually rules against that sort of thing? But it wouldn't affect his future, so maybe...

"Thor, where the are they?"

"Kurse will be here soon. He came disguised as a prisoner from Vanaheim. He escaped and released all of the prisoners. Well, except you. I don't know why he didn't release you. The Warriors Three and I came to handle the prison riot. Then I had to smuggle you out of Asgard to stop Malekith because Odin wouldn't do anything. You faked your death again and masqueraded as Odin, stranding him on Earth. Fast forward a couple years, I come back to Asgard and find you out. We go to Earth where Odin dies after telling us we have a sister who is a homicidal maniac and we have to start Ragnarok to kill her." He paused to catch his breath.

"Then he found us on the refugee ship and slaughtered half of us. Val, she's the Valkyrie, we found her on Sakaar, she got half of the Asgardians to Earth, but he killed everyone else. You had the Tesseract and you gave it to him and then you decided to be a hero and go against a titan with the Power and Space stones with a puny dagger and he snapped your neck. Oh yeah, and Hela, that's our sister, she broke my hammer, so I had to go to Nidavellir to get an axe called StormBreaker but I went for the chest instead of the head and he snapped and then he destroyed the Infinity stones and now here I am, five years after that."

Loki looked like he was having trouble processing this new information and was struggling to formulate a response, so he said,

"Thor, you are still an awful storyteller." There was a heavy silence until Thor asked,

"Loki, am I going to break the universe if I stay here?" Loki looked unsure.

"I do not know." Thor nodded and got up.

"I'll be right back."

"Thor? Thor! Thor, where in the Nine are you going?" Thor sped up the stairs, stumbling madly. He nearly ran into his mother who was holding a very angry rabbit with a syringe full of equally angry Aether.

"Thor, I believe you need this." She placed Rabbit gently on the ground.

"Uh, yes actually. Rabbit, I am staying here. Tell Val that she's Queen of Asgard now. Before Rabbit or Mother could change his mind, he left. He messed up the first time. He would do better this time. He would protect those he loved.

A/N: The TVA does not exist here. I got this idea from my mom when we were watching Endgame. She said that it would be very hard for Thor to leave Asgard, hence this was born. Also, if Cap can stay in the past because he missed Peggy, then Thor can stay because he lost a lot more than Cap. I'm not hating on Cap, I promise, he deserved some happiness, but that is my argument as to why Thor stayed. Next chapter is going to be interesting, as there are now two Thors in this timeline. Anyway, thanks for reading!
