The Talk and The Solution
Alright good to be back ladies and gents.
I've added a new character from the previous chapter and her similarities is from Lilith.
Now it's getting interesting.
For your information I don't own any of the characters of Adventure Time or any other
reference from other shows.
Now let's get started.

The Fire Kingdom/throne room
Meanwhile in the throne room.
Finn is standing in the middle and the throne room as he watches Lilith leaving the throne room,
Finn standing there with the same goofy expression as sees Lilith leave.
Lilith turned her head and wink before closing the throne room door.
Finn shook off his expression and looked at the letter he was still holding. Finn wanted to look,
but he'll save it back in his office, then a voice spoke out that startled him.
"So, falling over heels for that girl, huh?" the voice spoke out and asked.
"Ah!" Finn tripped backwards, he looked around for the voice and looked over his throne and
see the bruised former Flame King in the lamp.
"Oh, it's just you," Finn sighs in relief knowing it's just the Former Flame King, he got back up,
"you've been out for quite awhile man, you feeling good?" Finn asked, concerned about his
well-being.
The Flame King scoffed at his kind gesture, he looked away from Finn's gaze.
"Spare me from your kindness, it is wasted on me. So… you and Lilith, huh?" FFK asked.
Finn flustered again when Lilith was mentioned.
"Oh, so you overheard our conversation?" Finn asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
Flame King nodded and replied.
"Yes, you'd seem interested in this girl and here I thought you'd be interested in my daughter."
FFK said, Finn flustered harder as Phoebe was brought into this.
"I-i mean your daughter is beautiful, but I'm sure she is still trying to get over her break up with
my human counterpart. I don't want to bring up old memories of… me." Finn tells FFK. Finn likes
Phoebe, but wasn't sure if it was the right for to get right back into dating,
"Hmm… but how can you be sure? I see the way she looks at you and how she falls over heels
for you." FFK said.
Finn thought about it and doesn't know what to say or to do in this situation, he would never
thought to have this problem, but what about his Phoebe, Phoebe must like him too, he has two
Phoebe liking him and this Lilith then showed up and now he was having a problem.
"Oh man," Finn started to pace back and forth. Finn didn't know what to do in this state, the two
Phoebe were beautiful and cute, but Lilith is dignified and beautiful and plus she is tall.
"What am I supposed to do? I thought I wouldn't have to worry about this when I reached
eighteen, but it's all happening so fast and now every woman in the Fire Kingdom wants me."
Finn said as now he is worrying about his future and the arranged and political marriage
problems and others stuffed.
"So? Now you have many potential wives to choose from. You can go for my daughter or that
Lilith girl if you want to." FFK suggested, but this wasn't making things better as Finn couldn't
believe that he was suggesting this.
"Are you even listening to yourself?!" Finn exclaimed in shock, the FFK just tilted his head not
knowing the problem.
"I don't see what's the problem? You can either choose my Daughter or Lilith. My daughter is of
Royal blood and you're of Royal blood too so you and her can continue the Royal bloodline, but
if you choose Lilith, you and Lilith are powerful and you and Lilith can give birth to a powerful
child with pure potential." FFK said.
Finn then blush brightly as this guy brought up children, him, having kids of his own. It's the
most frightening experience that he have to go through when he is older.
"First; Let's not jump right into that right now. I'm still young and not ready to have kids yet. And
seconds; You jerk! Why did you bring that one up!?" Finn said angrily.
"Whaaat? I thought it would be appropriate, you are the Flame King now and seeing you have
many admirers now, and most of them are probably married just waiting to leave their husband
for you." FFK said, but this is just making it worse as Finn has gotten proposal letters from noble
women and to make it worse most of them are married and have been receiving threatening
letters from their husbands.
"You really are a jerk! some of those women are old enough to be my mom and it would be
weird to marry someone older than me." Finn said, but he thought about F Phoebe, H Phoebe
and Lilith, he only met Lilith for a short time and was already falling for her, but what about H
Phoebe? He still owes her a date and F Phoebe is still technically the princess of the Fire
Kingdom so he has many options.
Finn took some heavy thought about it, but he took a deep breath and calmed down as this
wasn't a problem yet as he still had two years left, so there was nothing to worry about it.
"There is nothing to worry about, I still have two years left and that's not today's problem." Finn
reassured himself that he was still young to be married yet.
"Hmm, I'd guess your right young one, but I do have one thing to say to you. [Finn: huh?] Do be
careful and take care of my daughter." FFK said to Finn showing a bit of concern for his
daughter.
Finn looks at him in confusion as this is the first time showing concerns for his daughter's safety
as he was the one to leave his daughter to die outside of the Fire Kingdom as a baby, Finn
wanted to ask him why he was showing affection and concern for Phoebe all of the sudden? But
Finn didn't say anything.
"Of course, sir" Finn said, leaving the throne room and leaving the FFK alone in his prison. The
sane prison that he placed his daughter in.
"(Sigh) I shouldn't have been a better father." FFK said sadly, he wishes he could raise his
children better.
Finn walked in the palace hallway and back to his office with the envelope in his hand, he
looked at the envelope and wondered what Lilith left in it. Finn continued to walk down the
hallway to his office.
Finn made it to his office, he entered his office and closed the door behind him and locked it. He
walked over to his desk and sat down, put the envelope on the desk and looked hesitant to
open it. There might be important documents in this, so he grabbed his letter opener.
Finn slit open the envelope, and pulled a list, a list filled with names of loyalists and others.
"So…. These are the people that are planning against me and dethrone me?" Finn said as he
looked through the document and saw the evidence of the subject and saw Flint's name on the
list too and other pictures of the loyalists.
"(Sigh) his name is on this too and it proves that he is on this plot." Finn said.
But then a piece of paper fell out of the envelope, Finn looked at the paper and see a phone
number on it with a lip print on it, Finn sighs as it was Lilith number, he put the document down
and picked up the paper and examined it, then he flipped the paper and then blushed
completely.
The paper turned out to be a picture of Lilith and she was wearing a beautiful hollow out
backless black chain dress showing off her figure and showing much of her cleavage. Finn
couldn't help but stare at her cleavage and her impressive figure as his hormones started to kick
in.
"Geez, women in this Fire Kingdom are something else entirely, but Lilith is on a whole nother
level." Finn lay back in his chair still holding the picture in his hand.
Finn hid the picture of Lilith in his drawer. Finn shook away his blushed and took a deep breath,
he inhaled and exhaled and repeated three times and stopped, he calmed down, he still
remembered the document and the evidence of the loyalists, Finn stood up from his chair and
walked out of his office.
"I'd better go see how Phoebe and Marie are doing? I hope phoebe is calm now." Finn said as
he headed towards Phoebe's room.
Phoebe on the other hand is in her room just angrily pacing back and forth as she mutters
angrily to herself, Marie is just standing by the doorway watching the angry princess, walking
back and forth and flame sparkling above her head.
"Princess Phoebe, I think you should calm down, you'd still haven't regained your strength yet
and you're getting a bit pale."
Marie pointed out as Phoebe was getting pale and turning a bit
gray.
Phoebe looked at her arms and saw they turned gray a bit as it was clear she still hasn't gotten
better since her poisoning. So she stopped and took a deep breath and began to calm down.
"Sorry, sorry, sorry. I just can't believe that Lilith is accusing my brother Flint of treason." Phoebe
said, clearly upset and was afraid that what Lilith said might be right, her brother was scheming.
"I know it's hard to believe, but your brother has been acting suspicious since Finn took the
throne and wasn't pleased with the idea of him taking the Kingdom from you." Marie said without
offending her.
Phoebe just glared at the maid and was about to reply, but then a knock was coming from the
door.
"Phoebe, you in here?" Finn's voice was heard from behind the door.
Phoebe sighs when hearing Finn's voice as she wasn't in the mood to talk to him, but she
couldn't stay mad forever, so she opened the door to let Finn in.
"H-hey Finn, I uhh… it's good to see you. So how was your meeting with Lilith?" Phoebe asked.
Finn can already tell that Phoebe doesn't like Lilith and can see that she is forcing a smile on
her face, but he answered her question.
"It went rather well, Lilith and she was actually pretty nice." Phoebe gripped her hand and
formed into a fist, then Finn jumped in fright and stopped and quickly changed the subject, "but
anyway I came here to check on you and see you were alright." Finn said.
Phoebe smiled to see that Finn is kind.
"I-I'm alright, and I'm sorry I stormed out like that. And what Lilith said might be true and I'm
afraid to admit to it." Phoebe said with worry.
Finn didn't say anything as he saw Phoebe was worrying about her brother and now Finn was
afraid to tell her that Lilith is right and might get mad.
"That's why I came to talk to you 'bout." Finn handed the evidence to Phoebe. Phoebe grabs it
and sees numerous names on the paper and sees her brother's name on it too.
Phoebe sighs in disappointment to see that everything on the paper was true.
"I was hoping it would be wrong, but…" Phoebe couldn't finish her sentence as she found out it
turned out to be true about her brother.
Finn step up to Phoebe and put his hand on her shoulder, confronting her, "Hey, I know it's hard
to believe, but your brother is planning everything to kick me off the throne and take it for himself
because he couldn't stand someone like me ruling the kingdom that isn't mine." Finn explained
to Phoebe.
She understood what he meant, Flint was upset about Finn taking the throne, but in fact he won
it fair and square, but he did defeat her father in a duel. But Flint wasn't accepting it as he wasn't
sticking to tradition of the royal duel.
But then she spoke up. "So what's your plan on stopping him if he decides to strike?" Phoebe
asked.
"He doesn't know that I know he's planning, so I gotta play it safe. Phoebe I know he is your
brother and all, but I can't do anything if you're okay with it or not." Finn said, asking for her
permission to stop her brother even betraying her brother.
Phoebe knows this was a hard decision to make, but her brother Flint always wanted war and
chaos, he and the rest of the loyalists are warmongers and accepted that they were evil.
"You have my permission to stop him." Phoebe told Finn with a sad tone that it had to come to
this.
Finn and Marie see the saddened look, they knew Phoebe had to make the hard decision.
"Pheeb…" Finn said as he hugged her to comfort her. Phoebe's eyes widened in confusion, but
she gladly accepted it and hugged him back.
"Thanks Finn… I really needed that." Phoebe said.
Finn didn't say Anything as both hugged for a good minute and then separated.
Phoebe still had the list in her hand, but then spotted a list that wasn't part of the suspect of
loyalists.
'What's this?' Phoebe looked at it and her eyes widened in shock, because the list she was
holding were noble women who were looking to give their hands to Finn.
"Something wrong Pheeb?" Finn asked as he stood beside her and looked at the list too, but he
also had the same reaction with a slight blush on his cheek. "Oh"
Finn stepped away but then he was stopped in his tracks as Phoebe grabbed his hand holding
him in place.
"Finn… how come Lilith's name is in this too?" Phoebe asked.
Finn stood there in silence as he turned his head to Phoebe looking scared and he saw Marie
leaving the room and giving him the thumb up and shutting the door. 'You traitor!'
Phoebe still has her hands on his shoulder and slightly gripping causing him to yelp in pain
feeling the intense pain and surprised by her strength.
"W-Well you k-know… after I crowned King. Many single noble women and lords offered their
daughters into arranged marriages with me. But then Lilith decided to take a go at me." Finn
explained in detail, but this wasn't making Phoebe any better. She knew about the arranged
marriage but now Lilith is participating is more infuriating.
Phoebe continued to narrow her eyes at Finn who was trembling because her hand was still
squeezing his shoulder and was now hurting his right shoulder.
"B-but it's my decision when I reach the age of eighteen and I can choose who will be my future
Queen." Finn said, trying to reassure her, but her fist gripped tighter on his shoulder but she
loosened up as she got her hands off his shoulder. Finn sighs in relief as he rubs his right
shoulder.
"So… there is a chance that I might be Queen if I wanted to take part in this?" Phoebe asked,
she slightly blushed.
Finn was still rubbing his shoulder and thought about what she said. He looked at Phoebe and
blushed about her as his Queen.
"I-i mean y-you are of Royal blood and I'm of Royal blood too and the blood of two worlds would
bring future alliance between our Fire kingdom." Finn said as there will be a possibility to build
connection to both worlds.
"Wait, if you and I get married and form a bond between our kingdom, does this mean we too…"
Phoebe awkwardly said as a blush.
Finn looked confused as to why Phoebe was blushing but then he took a moment to realize
what she was talking about and he blushed too.
"Oh…" Finn didn't know what to say about this situation or how to get out of this. "... let's not
worry about it for now." Finn said with embarrassment.
Phoebe nodded in agreement as this was too soon to think about it. Finn sighs in relief as the
conversation is dodged.
"But when you turn eighteen you will be targeted by many nobles. Not only for the status of
queen but also for the genes of your powerful blue flames." Phoebe said, as she remembered
during the time at Finn's coronation, she overheard some other noble discussions about Finn's
blue flame and how they would want their family to inherit that power.
Finn nodded as he knew about that as he overheard it too.
"Yeah, I'd heard about that too." Finn said remembering the day of the coronation and
overhearing the other nobles'
convention, but he smiles to reassure Phoebe. "But no flattery or
talks ain't gonna work on me." Finn told Phoebe with a smile.
Phoebe smiled at Finn's comment and sighing in confidence.
Finn saw Phoebe smiling as he was happy to see Phoebe smile, but he still remembered what
her father said to him. *Take care of my daughter.* Those words echo through his head as he
will keep his promises.
But unnoticed by the two, a green ball of flame was watching them from the vent as it watched
them with a menacing glare and it chuckled to itself. "Hehehe, Soon."
The scene darkened as echoes of laughter faded out and turned completely dark.

Man this took me longer than I expected to be done by now, but at least I got it done in time.
Now for the next chapter, which would it be,
bad timing or Billy's bucket list. I'm skipping
lemonhope as it does not involve our boy.
