The day has finally arrived, after months of planning today is the day of Gohan and Videl's wedding.
It was a beautiful outside venue on the beach sometime around 2 in the afternoon and the guest were just starting to arrive.
"How are you feeling?" Mr. Satan asked his daughter Videl as she was getting ready.
"Excited and nervous." she replied with a since of fear in her eyes.
"Don't be nervous its going to be just fine darling" responded Mr. Satan although he too was extremely nervous for the oncoming ceremony .
Meanwhile somewhere else Gohan was facing a similar situation.
"There's my young man!" said Chi-Chi as she busted into Gohan's dressing room.
"Mom I'm trying to get ready!" responded Gohan frustratedly.
"Now you chill it there, I know its your special day but I wont take any disrespect from you." responded Chi-Chi, "Is everything ok?" she asked curiously.
"Yeah everything's fine." he sighed, "I'm just ready for it to be over with… thanks for asking". he said smiling at his mother.
"Your welcome, alright I'm going to go meet up with your father, see you soon honey, love you." Chi-Chi said softly.
"Love you too" responded Gohan as he continued to get ready for his wedding.
On her way to find Goku, Chi-Chi ran into Hercule.
"How's yours doing?" she asked him.
"She's fine a little nervous but that's to be expected, yours?" he replied.
"Uptight, scared, almost like he's having doubts but besides that he seems fine" Chi-Chi replied with a frown upon her face.
"Oh, have you seen Goku by any chance?, I've been looking for him." she asked Mr. Satan.
"Yeah, I think I saw him over by the drinks stand earlier." he replied.
"Thank you." Chi-Chi said back.
Some time has passed and everybody started to gather for the ceremony. Gohan had made his way out of his dressing room and over to his parents and younger brother.
"What do you guys think?" Gohan asked his family his nerves easily visible.
"You look good honey." Chi-Chi responded.
Goku gave a nod in agreement
"Alright, well here we go." Gohan said as he started to make his way up to the altar.
As Gohan made it to the front of the room music started playing and the ceremony began.
Moments later Videl appeared arm in arm with her father as they started to make their way down the isle.
As she approached the alter Gohan reached his hand out and grabbed hers and then they started their vows.
"I saw in you a spirit as strong as any warrior, and a heart as bright as any star from the moment we met," Gohan said, his voice soft but sure as he looked into Videl's eyes.
Videl's gaze softened, and she took a breath before speaking. "I knew you were someone special, not because of your strength or power, but because of your kindness and humility," she said. "You were different from anyone I had ever known."
Gohan chuckled lightly. "You've taught me that strength isn't just about power or fighting—it's about compassion, resilience, and love," he said, "You showed me what it means to be truly strong."
Videl squeezed his hand. "You see the good in everything and everyone, and that's what I love most about you," she said. Her voice wavered just a little, but the love in her words was undeniable.
Pausing for a moment, Gohan glanced downward, reflecting on their journey together. "Together, we've faced challenges that pushed us to our limits," he said. "But through every battle, it was your courage that kept me going."
Videl smiled, her eyes glistening. "We've fought battles side by side, faced dangers I never imagined," she said. "But through it all, you made me feel safe, loved, and cherished."
Gohan nodded. "I promise to always stand by your side," he said. "To protect and cherish you, and to be the best husband, and partner that I can be."
"I promise to always be by your side, too," Videl replied softly. "To support you in your struggles, and to share in your triumphs."
He looked at her lovingly. "With you, I have found my home. I vow to love you unconditionally, to honor your strength, and to support your dreams, just as you've supported mine."
Videl's smile turned to a quiet laugh, her happiness spilling over. "I vow to love you fiercely," she said. "To laugh with you, and to grow with you."
Gohan leaned in slightly, his eyes never leaving hers. "Together, we're unstoppable," he said, his voice full of admiration and love.
"And I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you," Videl said, her voice filled with joy and certainty.
The overseer, standing before Gohan and Videl, smiled warmly as they reached the final part of their vows. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as friends and family looked on.
"Now, Gohan," the overseer began, turning to him with a gentle nod, "do you take Videl to be your wife? To love, honor, and cherish her, through all the challenges and joys of life, for as long as you both shall live?"
Gohan looked deeply into Videl's eyes, his voice steady and full of love. "I do."
The overseer then turned to Videl. "And Videl, do you take Gohan to be your husband? To love, honor, and cherish him, through all the challenges and joys of life, for as long as you both shall live?"
Videl's eyes softened, her heart swelling as she gazed at Gohan. "I do."
The overseer smiled, pleased by the mutual devotion before them. "Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss."
Gohan confidently leaned in for the act to seal their marriage. Videl with the same idea met him and just like that it was over.
