It was time for Toothless's yearly inspection. Valka usually acted as a dragon dr, being around them so often she picked up a thing or two.

They landed at the dragon infirmary where all sorts of dragons in casts were hanging out.

When hiccup and toothless landed, Toothless trotted excitedly over to Hiccup's mom while hiccup watched eagerly.

Said Valka as she rubbed his head.

Hiccup hid away a bag of chocolate chip koekies he had given Toothless earlier. " of course! How do you know us" hiccup smiled nervously at Toothless who chuckled.

Valka moved on to inspect his eyes shining a light and watch as the pupils retract properly.

" response looks good a bit dehydrated, probably because of the long flights."

Valka put eye drops in each of Toothless gigantic eyes. " tilt your head back now"

Toothless body relaxed as he blinked a few times and liked his lips. "I bet it feels good doesn't it bud" replied hiccup as he went through all the equipment Valka had in her shop. He picked up a stethoscope and looked at it. Valka snatched it from him " o I actually need this thanks."

Valka placed it on her ears and the end on Toothless chest. " mmm 120bpm sounds all good and healthy" she put it back and takes out another instrament.

" ears up Toothless " she said and Toothless hesitantly lift up his ear flaps to reveal the ear holes underneath. Valka placed the device into his ears and looked around. Toothless shuddered and whined. " I come now you big baby" Valka said "Im almost done."

" How does it look?" Asked Hiccup

" A bit of swelling in the left ear, im going to give you garlic that you can place in his ears for the swelling every night for a week, also no hot baths for a while, we don't need any extra moisture around those infected ears.

Valka grabbed a stick.

" say AAA Toothless" Toothless opened his mouth as wide as he could. She placed the stick on the back of his tongue and used a mirror to check all his teeth.

Hiccup leaned on some equipment which fell on a gronkel that was covered in casting and bandages.

Valka " what are you doing back there?

Hiccup " Nothing! Just rearranging." As the gronkel dig himself out of everything that fell on him and crawled on. With hiccup having a painful look on his face.

" everything looks good!" Said Valka removing the stick out of toothless mouth. Toothless opened and closed his mouth a few times and swallowed.

" O and hiccup, try to feed him less chocolate chip cookies next time" holding a piece that was stuck in Toothless teeth. Hiccup laughed nervously.

Valka moved around his side inspecting his wings and back before, moving along his stomach and ultimately stopping at his crotch slit. " well we have to be thorough." Said Valka.

" wait what?" Exclamed Hiccup turing red

"You are not going to check his, you know what, are you?"

"You mean his penis? And yes I am, come now Hiccup, Its for his health.

Toothless looked at hiccup nervously. Hiccup gulped and nodded at Toothless.

That night Toothless slept in hiccup's bed, Hiccup had his arm around Toothless neck. Toothless cood at Hiccup. " ok fine bud, but don't tell mom." Hiccup slipped the last one of the cookies for Toothless. And they happily and safely fell asleep.
