In Henneth Annún, Faramir and his rangers of Gondor were gathered in the secret outpost and where they brought the two hobbits Frodo & Sam because the young captain believed they were spies, later they received news from the scouts of what was happening at Rohan and at the Black Gate.

"What news?" Faramir asked one of his men after he opened up a map.

"Our scouts report Saruman has attacked Rohan. Théoden's people have fled to Helm's Deep. But we must look to our own borders. Faramir, Orcs are on the move. Sauron is marshalling an army. Easterlings and Southrons are at the Black Gate." Madril reported as he pointed out on the map.

"How many?"

"Some thousands. More come every day."

"Who's covering the river to the north?"

"We pulled 500 men at Osgiliath. If their city is attacked, we won't hold it." Madril reported as Faramir glances back to the map assessing the situation.

"Saruman attacks from Isengard. Sauron from Mordor." Faramir pointed at each location mentioned "The fight will come to Men on both fronts. Gondor is weak. Sauron will strike soon. And he will strike hard. He knows now we do not have the strength to repel him."

A moment later, Frodo & Sam blindfolds and binds were removed as they look around and noticed they were in a cave with the waterfall masking the entrance.

"My men tell me that you are Orc spies." Faramir said as he walks up to them.

"Spies? Now wait just a minute." Sam retorted.

"Well, if you're not spies, then who you are?" The young captain questioned before he sat down as the hobbits were silent for a moment "Speak."

"We are Hobbits of the Shire. Frodo Baggins is my name, and this is Samwise Gamgee." Frodo introduced themselves.

"Your bodyguard?"

"His gardener." Sam corrected

"And where is your skulking friend? That gangrel creature. He had an ill-favoured look." Faramir described when Frodo paused a bit.

"There was no other." The hobbit lied which made his friend glance over to him nervously while Faramir looks suspicious.

"We set out from Rivendell with thirteen companions. One we lost in Moria... two were my kin... a Dwarf there was also. And an Elf and four Men and two Women. Aragorn, son of Arathorn, and Boromir of Gondor, and..." Frodo paused when he saw Faramir's expression change which was a combination of anger and sadness.

"You're a friend of Boromir?" The young captain questioned once more, which made Frodo hesitate a bit because they did not depart on the best of terms.

"Yes, for my part." The hobbit told the man who soon shortly stands up from his seat and paces for a moment and shortly faces them "It will grieve you then to learn that he is dead."

Frodo & Sam looked in shock learning of this news.

"Dead? How? When?" Frodo questioned in a few words.

"As one of his companions, I'd hoped you would tell me." Faramir said as he holds back his emotions.

"If somethings happened to Boromir, we would have you tell us." Frodo argued, which made the young captain nod a bit as he gives in and breathes a bit as he hesitates to tell.

"His horn washed upon the riverbank about six days past. It was cloven in two. But more than this, I know it in my heart." Faramir tells them with tears held back in his eyes "He was my brother."

At this Frodo was even more shocked to learn that Boromir had a brother all the long and felt sorry for the young captain.

Later that night, Faramir was sitting alone by an underground stream, reminiscing about his deceased brother.

(Flashback)

Faramir was standing at a river alone as he was on patrol, as he turned around to face the river, he saw what looks like an Elvish boat in his eyes and walks into the where it's not too steep.

The boat got closer as it floats by him and reveals the body of Boromir, the young captain looks shocked and grieved.

As Faramir remembers seeing his deceased brother, he now sees a flash back to when Osgiliath was retaken while holding the Boromir's cloven horn.

"Boromir! Boromir!" The soldiers were cheering to their captain as he plants the flag of Gondor as he stands above them unsheathing his sword and holding it high.

"This city was once the jewel of our kingdom. A place of light and beauty and music. And so it shall be once more!" the soldiers cheered to captains' speech.

"Let the armies of Mordor know this, never again will the land of my people fall into enemy hands. This city of Osgiliath has been reclaimed for Gondor!"

"For Gondor!"

"For Gondor!"

"For Gondor!" Boromir and the soldiers below cheered.

Shortly after that, the soldiers were celebrating their victory and moving bodies of dead orcs, Faramir walks past the men and smiles as he sees his brother and shortly to hug each other and laugh together.

"Good speech. Nice and short." Faramir commented.

"Leave more time for drinking." Boromir joked as him and his brother laughed.

"Break out the ale! These men are thirsty!" The valiant captain called and the other men cheered.

"Remember today, little brother. Today, life is good." Boromir said to his brother as they smile and they tap goblets together and then drink.

Faramir then glances warily sideways.

"What?" Boromir laughed

"He's here." Faramir told his brother who looked in the same direction and shortly wears the same expression as his brother seeing Denethor, the steward of Gondor talking to the soldiers behind them, after that he quickly looked away.

"Moment of peace, can he not give us that?" Boromir whispers in annoyance.

"Where is he? Where is Gondor's finest? Where's my first-born?" Denethor speaking proudly to his son who turned around facing looking after changing his expression with happiness.

"Father!" Boromir walks over to his father while Faramir stays where he was and smiled as his brother and father then hug each other.

"They say you vanquished the enemy almost single-handedly." Denethor said after separating from the hug and smiling proudly to his oldest son.

"They exaggerate. The victory belongs to Faramir also." Boromir shifted the attention to his brother who walks closer towards but stops as his father stares at him and looks uneasy.

"But for Faramir, this city would still be standing. Were you not entrusted to protect it?" Denethor told his youngest.

"I would have done, but our numbers were too few." Faramir replied.

"Oh, too few. You let the enemy walk in and take on a whim. Always you cast a poor reflection on me." The steward said in disappointment as he walks up to Faramir while his brother drops his head of what his father just said.

"That is not my intent." the young captain argued.

"You give him no credit, and yet he tries to do your will." Boromir told his father in anger as he walks away and shortly follows the valiant captain to talk in private and soon was away.

"He loves you, father." Boromir pointed out but the steward just shook his head.

"Do not trouble with Faramir I know his uses, and they are few." Denethor told his son who shortly shook his head because his father won't approve of Faramir.

"We have more urgent things to speak of. Elrond of Rivendell has called a meeting. He will not say why but I guessed its purpose. It is rumoured that the weapon of the enemy has been found." Denethor said to Boromir who shortly theorises what his father already did.

"The One Ring." Boromir said in shock as his father nodded "Isildur's Bane."

"It has fallen into the hands of the Elves. Everyone will try to claim it: Men, Dwarves, wizards. We cannot let that happen. This thing must come to Gondor." Denethor told his son who just looks at his father in the eyes.

"Gondor-" Boromir breathed but his father took him by the shoulders because he could speak.

"It's dangerous, I know. Ever the Ring will seek to corrupt the hearts of lesser Men. But you, you are strong. And our need is great. It is our blood which is being spilled, our people who are dying. Sauron is biding his time. He's massing fresh armies. He will return. And when he does, we will be powerless to stop him. You must go." Denethor told his son who looks even more shocked.

"Bring me back this mighty gift."

"No." Boromir declines his father's wishes and walks away back to Faramir in frustration "My place is here with my people. Not in Rivendell."

"Would you deny your own father?" Denethor questioned as he follows his son.

"If there is need to go Rivendell, send me in his stead." Faramir requested.

"You. Oh, I see, a chance for Faramir, captain of Gondor to show his quality. I think not, I trust this mission only to your brother, the one who will not fail me." Denethor told his disappointment of a son.

Faramir got up close but was held back a bit by his brother but that didn't stop him from looking directly into his father's eyes in anger as he holds all the grief while his father just stands there.

After a moment, the young captain of Gondor turns and walks away leaving the Boromir as he watches feeling sorry for his brother and their father smirks.

"I will go to Rivendell, but for my brother's sake, not yours." Boromir told his father as he shoves past him to go ready for travel, Denethor was alone as he looks towards his oldest son and he smiles while his back was turned and knew Boromir will succeed for him and didn't mind what else he said.

A moment later, Boromir was looking up towards the flag of Gondor that he planted and looking proudly at it before turns towards Faramir who waited by him and stare at each other.

"Remember today, little brother." Boromir proudly told his Faramir who smiled and nods towards him, the valiant captain smiled back and then rides out on his horse out of Osgiliath as the young captain watches.

(Ends)

Faramir finished remembering the day Boromir departed for Rivendell, but he remains in his position holding the broken horn still and wishing his brother was here right now.

"Captain Faramir!" one of his men came in tearing the young captain from his thoughts "We found the third one." he whispered to Faramir and shortly turned away before nodding to himself and puts away the broken horn.

The hobbits were in another part of the cave on the floor sleeping, Frodo however wakes up as he hears footsteps approaching and looks to see Faramir and two of his men.

"You must come with me, now." Faramir told the hobbit who stands up and follows the young captain, shortly he led Frodo to the edge of the waterfall overlooking a pool below as he glanced down before to him.

"Down there." Faramir pointed, Frodo got a bit closer to look and then sees Sméagol diving into the pool as he looks in shock.

"To enter the Forbidden Pool bears the penalty of death." Faramir told the hobbit who turns away from the pool and then the young captain looks over to the other side to see two Gondor rangers with arrows ready to fire down which caught Frodo's attention, Faramir then gestures behind the hobbit and then sees two more rangers.

"They wait for my command." Faramir told him as he looks down at the pool and sees the creature emerge from the water with a fish in his mouth.

"Shall I shoot?" Faramir questioned the hobbit who was still looking down at the pool towards Sméagol and starts to panic.

"The rock and pool is nice and cool, so juicy sweet. Our only wish, to catch a fish, so juicy!" Sméagol singed unaware of what was happening above him and smacks the fish around when it tried to wiggle itself free.

"Wait." Frodo quickly told Faramir before he could give the order "This creature is bound to me. And I to him." looking up to the young captain who casted a raised eyebrow to the hobbit.

"He is our guide. Please... let me go down to him." Frodo begged, Faramir then nodded to the hobbit who shortly turns to go down to the pool leaving the young captain to remain suspicious.

Back down at the pool, Sméagol was eating away at the fish and spitting the bits he didn't like, Frodo approaches him but keeps his distance.

"Sméagol! Master is here." The creature heard as he stops eating and looks to Frodo.

"Come, Sméagol. Trust master. Come!" Frodo gestures to follow him.

"We must... go now?" Sméagol was unsure.

"Sméagol, you must trust master. Follow me come on." Frodo told the creature who puts the fish he was eating in his mouth and crawls towards the hobbit while he continues to tell him to follow.

Suddenly they twig snap and Sméagol was grabbed by a ranger.

"Don't hurt him!" Frodo begged but they didn't listen and shortly another ranger came by to help restrain the creature "Sméagol, don't struggle. Sméagol, listen to me." he assures.

"Master!" Sméagol called for Frodo and then a bag was put over the creature's head as they hear muffled cries, Frodo looks up the waterfall of where he was and stares at the young captain who shortly walks away before the hobbit was escorted back to the cave.

A moment later, Sméagol was grunting and panting while being beaten up by the rangers as they threw him to the ground, kicked and punched him. He was punished even more for trying to get away.

"That's enough." Faramir ordered, his men then threw the creature against the cave wall and shortly he curled into a ball as he cries.

"Where are you leading them? Answer me." Faramir demanded as he walked up Sméagol who ignored the young captain.

"Sméagol. Why does it cry, Sméagol?" Gollum talks as Faramir stands while confused but listens interested.

"Cruel men hurts us. Master tricksed us." Sméagol spoke to his bad side.

"Of course he did. I told he was tricksy. I told you he was false."

"Master is our friend. Our friend."

"Master betrayed us." Faramir looks fascinated by what he was saying.

"No. Not its business. Leave us alone!"

"Filthy little Hobbitses! They stole it from us!" Gollum yelled as he hits his fist on the ground.

"No. No." Sméagol whined.

"What did they steal?" Faramir asked which gained the creature's attention.

"My... precious!" Gollum slowly turned towards the young captain and screamed.

In the other part of the cave which where the hobbits were and Sam was awake now while the men questioned Sméagol somewhere else in the cave.

"We have to get out of here. You go. Go, now." Sam whispered to Frodo who shortly looks over to his friend who shortly crawls over to him.

"You can do it. Use the Ring, Mr. Frodo. Just this once. Put it on. Disappear." Sam insists for the concern of his friend, but Frodo an expression of fear because he knew what would happen.

"I can't. You were right, Sam." Frodo told his friend who was confused of what did he mean "You tried to tell me but... I'm sorry. The Ring's taking me, Sam. If I put it on... he'll find me. He'll see." he explained to Sam with his voice filled with fear.

"Mr. Frodo..." Sam assures his friend, suddenly they heard footsteps and then stands up and sees Faramir who walked in and then draws his sword and walks menacingly towards them.

"So, this is the answer to all the riddles." Faramir points his sword to Frodo who shortly was backed up against the cave wall "Here in the wild I have you... two Halflings... and a host of men at my call." he uses his sword to pull the Ring out from under the hobbit's shirt.

"And the Ring of Power within my grasp. A chance for Faramir, captain of Gondor, to show his quality." Faramir said to himself and repeating the same words his father said to him on the day Boromir departed and now has determination to prove to his father he is worthy.

Frodo closed his eyes and breathes heavily as he falls into a trance from the power of the Ring as it whispers, Faramir admires it as he stares at it and hearing the whispers himself along with the hobbit.

"No!" Frodo quickly opens his eyes as he snaps out of it and shoves the young captain's sword away and hides the Ring back in his shirt and runs into a corner of the cave while Faramir looks in a slight trance.

"Stop it! Leave him alone. Don't you understand? He's got to destroy it! That's where we're going, into Mordor. To the Mountain of Fire!" Sam told the young captain but didn't pay any attention, a ranger walks in to his side.

"Osgiliath is under attack. They call for reinforcements." Faramir looks towards the ranger who reported the news to him before looking back at the hobbits.

"Please. It's such a burden. Will you not help him?" Sam begged.

"Captain?" the man asked in concern as Faramir was in a bit of a small trance and shortly towards him.

"Prepare to leave." Faramir ordered and the ranger nodded and walks away to carry it out.

"The Ring will go to Gondor." Faramir declared, Sam looks at him disbelievingly at the captain and Frodo turns around looking afraid.

Meanwhile at Rohan as the sun rose meaning it was the next morning, Aragorn along with Sora who was not awake while the ranger's strength slowly returns were on Brego and have been riding for many miles.

The ranger then heard moaning behind him and saw Sora regaining consciousness, as he sits up right and steady's himself while slowly opening his eyes.

"Aragorn..." Sora whispered from tiredness and still wounded from falling off a cliff but was tapped on the arm by Aragorn as he reassures him it's going to be okay, as they come over the crest of a hill, they heard what sounds like marching and looks out sees Saruman's army heading the same way they're going, they stared in disbelief of how big the army of Uruk-hai was, Sora pats Aragorn in the back telling they need to get away and they back up away and quickly rides to Helm's Deep.

Along the way with new found adrenaline to hurry and strength returning even faster through night and day, while they were running up the hill mounted on Brego which was route the convoy took, and soon enough they stopped at the top and looks down onto Helm's Deep indicating they have arrived.

"Well done, Brego, my friend." Aragorn said in Elvish as he pats the horse as he smiles along with Sora who thanked the horse too and shortly rides on towards the fortress.

A moment later, Riku was at the top of the gatehouse that was looking over the causeway, but he was deep in thought from what happened and tries to process it as hard as he can in his mind while his head is buried in his hands.

But shortly after, he heard what sounds like hoofs stepping on stone and gets up from his seat and looks over the wall onto the causeway and sees someone riding towards the gate, and then in shock he recognises it was Aragorn, even more as he spotted Sora on the same horse as well, he then runs off to find Kairi.

Aragorn & Sora were soon past the gate as they ride up through the crowds of people who were shocked to see they survived, the two shortly dismount the horse and one of the soldiers helped by taking it by the reins telling they were look after him.

"Where are they? Get out of the way! I'm going to kill them!" Gimli yelled as he brushes past the crowd and shortly reaches Aragorn & Sora as they look towards the Dwarf and smiled.

"You are luckiest, the canniest... and the most reckless man I ever knew. Bless you, laddie." Gimli spoke to Aragorn and shortly hugs while Sora laughed a bit who shortly caught the Dwarf's attention and hugged the boy as well which shocked him.

"Bless you too, Sora. You are the youngest man I've known to be the strongest." Gimli told Sora who shortly scratches the back of his head nervously and pats him on the shoulder to reassure.

"Gimli, where is the king?" Aragorn asked as Gimli broke away from the hug and then gestures to the keep and receives pats on the shoulder by the two who shortly heads to the hall.

Aragorn who was followed by Sora behind him tightened his belt as they walk, but was shortly halted by Legolas before they can enter the hall.

"You're late." Legolas said in Elvish to Aragorn who raised his eyebrows, the woodland Elf looks over "You look terrible." in english, after that Aragorn & Legolas grinned at each other and chuckles while Sora looks happy to see two good friends united.

Éowyn who was helping the citizens heard the conversation as she turns around and looks in shock to see Aragorn & Sora alive, she runs towards the ranger but stops herself and watches from a distance.

Legolas then hands something to Aragorn which caught Sora's eyes too as he looks closer, the ranger opens his hands and sees the Evenstar and shortly looks up to the woodland Elf and nods in gratitude and thanked him in Elvish, Sora was happy for them.

"Sora!" The spiky-haired boy heard his name and turned to his right to see Riku running towards him.

"You two go on ahead, I'll catch up." Sora told Aragorn & Legolas as they nodded and heads inside the keep, Sora quickly turned towards Riku as he came closer and got locked in an embrace as they laugh together, after a small moment they separated and revealed Riku had tears in his eyes.

"I thought you were dead." Riku breathed as he holds onto his friend by the shoulder and checks him over "You don't look well. We should get you healed up and go gets some rest." he laughed along with Sora before telling what he should but was stopped by him.

"I'll be okay, Riku. Where's Kairi? Is she alright?" Sora questioned, Riku looks at his friend for a moment and then steps aside and revealing the auburn-haired girl was behind who looked in shock towards Sora.

"Sora..." Kairi whispered as she slowly walks up to him and cups his cheek with her hand, tears soon began to fall and then she embraces him and shortly the spiky-haired boy wrapped his arms her and Riku watches with a smile.

They soon separated and dried their eyes from the tears, Kairi then reached out and grabbed Sora's hand confusing him, using her other hand she puts something in his hand as she smiles, Sora looked down and in shock to see the lucky charm.

"How?" Sora looked in disbelief and up to Kairi.

"It fell out of your pocket. Aqua found it, be careful not to lose it next time." Kairi told him, at that he closed his hand around the charm and nods in promise towards her.

But before he could put it back in his pocket, she took hold of his hand once more and cupped his cheek once more and slowly leans forward and kisses him in the other cheek shocking him, Riku smirked as he saw the whole thing.

Sora felt like a bolt of Thunder just struck him but he snaps it out and looks at Kairi who was blushing along with him, he smiled towards her and then puts the charm back in a safe place which was in his top pocket inside the jacket to keep it close.

"Come, me and Aragorn have something to tell you." Sora gestures to Riku & Kairi who looked at his friend in concern as they walk into the hall.

In the hall, since Aragorn & Legolas entered first, the king in his men were surprised to see him along with Terra, Aqua & Ven since they were helping to plan, shortly after they see Sora followed by Riku & Kairi.

A moment later after expressing their worries and happiness to see they are alive, some of the wielders insisted they should rest and heal up, but they declined because there was no time for that and the others were confused for the matter.

"A great host, you say?" Théoden asked because Aragorn was the one telling everyone in the hall from what he and Sora saw.

"All Isengard is emptied."

"How many?"

"Ten thousand strong at least." Everyone looks towards Aragorn who looked shocked apart from Sora.

"Ten thousand?" Théoden speaks in disbelief.

"I faced many things and they were up to a thousand, my lord. But this is different and something I can't do alone." Sora expressed his concerns as the wielders knew what he was talking about while the rest was surprised.

"It is an army bred for a single purpose: to destroy the world of Men." Aragorn drifts all attention back to him "They will be here by nightfall."

Théoden stops a moment to think before turning and walking away.

"Let them come!"

Outside the hall, Théoden with the Fellowship following behind him.

"I want every man and strong lad able to bear arms, to be ready for battle by nightfall." Théoden instructed Gamling as he goes about his duties while the rest make their way to the main gate and causeway while the soldiers were reinforcing the gate with fresh wood on the back with hammer and nails.

"We will cover the causeway and the gate from above. No army has ever breached the Deeping Wall or set foot inside the Hornburg." Théoden tells the others as they inspect everything that was told.

"Are you sure we can hold off ten-thousand?" Kairi speaking her concerns as the others wondered too.

"She's right, this is no rabble of mindless Orcs, these are Uruk-hai. Their armour is thick and their shields broad." Gimli expresses next as the king walks up to him.

"I have fought many wars, Master Dwarf. I know how to defend my own keep." Théoden told both Gimli and Kairi as he glances quick at her before walking back inside, they followed with Kairi & Gimli behind but received pats on the shoulder as they walked past them, as they follow Théoden to the upper walls in front of the main hall.

"They will break upon this fortress like water on rock. Saruman's hoards will pillage and burn. We've seen it before. Crops can be resewn. Homes rebuilt. Within these walls, we will outlast them." Théoden told the Fellowship.

"They do not come to destroy Rohan's crops or villages, they come to destroy its people, down to the last child." Aragorn pointed out, the king then turns and looks face to face and grabs him by the arm

"What would you have me do?" Théoden questioned quietly but firmly "Look at my men. Their courage hangs by a thread. If this is to be our end, then I would have them make such an end as to be worthy of remembrance."

"Send out riders, my lord." Aragorn suggested as Théoden began to walk away and shortly turned back to face him and walks back up to him "We must call for aid." the king stares in question.

"And who will come? Elves? Dwarves? Keyblade wielders?" Théoden gestured to each of them "We are not so lucky in our friends as you. The old alliances are dead."

"Gondor will answer." Aragorn said which made the king look angry which concerned the others while the ranger looked calm.

"Gondor!? Where was Gondor when the Westfold fell?! Where was Gondor when our enemies closed in around us?! Where was Gon..." Théoden paused and starts to calm down "No, my lord Aragorn... we are alone." Théoden finished talking to the ranger as he walks away again leaving the Fellowship as they look towards the king and feels worried for the survival of Rohan.

"Get the women and children in the caves." Théoden ordered as he walks up the steps past the citizens who were resting.

"We need more time to lay provisions-"

"There is no time. War is upon us." Théoden told his men as they walk into and one of them ordered the soldiers to secure the gate, the people heard what the king ordered and got up straight away and received help from others and the soldiers.

The wielders quickly got to work on getting the citizens to the caves, suddenly they heard what sounded like cawing and they looked towards the source and saw a flock of Crebain fly overhead, they got back to helping the citizens after looking at the flock and tries to speed it up.

In Fangorn, Treebeard along with Merry & Pippin continue their slow walk to their destination.

"We Ents have not troubled about the wars of Men and wizards for a very long time... for a very long time. But now something is about to happen... that has not happened... for an age." Treebeard told the hobbits as he walked into a small clearing in the forest which was a circle of stones and a view of the sky, a change from the thick canopy of trees they had been travelling through.

"Entmoot." the Ent gestured as the hobbits wondered what it was.

"What's that?" Merry asked as he looked towards the center.

"Tis a gathering." Treebeard explained.

"A gathering of what?" Merry asked once more, but then he heard rumbling and he looks behind him and Pippin looked around to see other Ents walking towards them through the forest as they slowly gather at the center.

"Beech. Oak. Chestnut. Ash. Good. Good. Good. Many have come." Treebeard spoke as the hobbits looked towards the other Ents who were looking in wonder at them.

"Now we must decide if the Ents... will go to war." Treebeard told the hobbit's as they hope for the best and fear for the worst.

(Helm's Deep)

It was already evening and everyone was hard at work and tries to go faster to get the citizens into the caves for safety, The Fellowship walk through the crowd who are heading into the caves.

"We'll place the reserves along the wall. They can support the archers from above the gate." Aragorn told his companions.

"Aragorn, you must rest. You're no use to us half alive." Legolas expressed his concern.

"Aragorn!" The ranger heard his name and looks ahead to see Éowyn running down the steps towards him "I'm to be sent with the women into the caves."

"That is an honourable charge."

"To mind the children, to find food and bedding when the men return. What renown is there in that?"

"My lady, a time may come for valor without renown. Who then will your people look to in the last defence?"

"Let me stand at your side." Éowyn wished.

"It is not in my power to command it." Aragorn walks back to his companions who was helping the citizens.

"You do not command the others to stay!" Éowyn pointed out as Aragorn turns back "They fight beside you because they would not be parted from you. Because they love you."

At that the two look meaningfully at each other while a while.

"I'm sorry." Éowyn said as she looked away and then brushes past the Fellowship as they look at her as she heads into the caves with the rest of the citizens.

In the caves, it was a large cavern filled with stalagmites and stalactites that glitter as if they were filled with diamonds, many people wandered around to settle down the women held onto their children as they cried while Éowyn ties the back of her hair.

The men along with older boys are being gathered by the soldiers to join in the fight as they bid farewell to their loved ones and comforted by others in the cave, as ordered by Théoden.

In the armoury weapons are being handed out and armour was being put on after taking a weapon, the Fellowship inspects everyone in the armoury as the look at the people and the weapons, Aragorn takes hold of a sword and puts it down again as he walks through the crowd towards Gimli.

"Farmers, farriers, stable boys. These are no soldiers." Aragorn said as the others nodded in agreement.

"Most have seen too many winters." Gimli predicted.

"Or too few." Legolas said as he looks amongst the men who took hold of their weapons to prepare "Look at them. They're frightened. I can see it in their eyes."

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked towards Legolas after what he just said including the Fellowship.

"And they should be... three hundred... against ten thousand!" Legolas spoke in Elvish, Aragorn looks around to the people a bit before back at the woodland Elf.

"They have more hope of defending themselves here than at Edoras." Aragorn said to Legolas.

"He's right." Kairi came up next to Aragorn and spoke in Elvish too "The defences are stronger here then they are there."

"You don't understand Princess of Heart. They cannot win this fight. They are all going to die!" Legolas replied.

"Then I shall die as one of them!" Aragorn raised his voice as he walks up to Legolas as they glare at each other and spoke out in english for the people to understand, the ranger then walks off leaving the rest.

"Let him go, lad." Gimli held Legolas back by the arm "Let him be."

Kairi just shook her head in disbelief.

"I can't believe, Legolas should more faith in Man-kind instead of his own." the auburn-haired girl retorted but the woodland Elf didn't bother to look back towards her.

"We can't argue now, Kairi. We have to prepare to defend, and be the light within the darkness for all these people." Aqua pointed out as she checks over her bow and a few armour, Terra & Ven nodded in agreement.

"But what light is it will we have on this night?" Riku questioned Sora looked away from the chainmail as he puts it aside.

"What are you saying, Riku?" Terra asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Whatever Legolas said, I'm inclined to agree, we're severely outnumbered!" Riku told them as he expresses it.

"Riku." the silver-haired teen looks towards Sora who had a mad look on him "If we don't help defend the lands and stop the darkness here it will spread beyond it!"

"Sora! Look yourself, you haven't rested once or treated your wounds. Your too weak to fight!" Riku pointed out.

"If I don't fight for the weak who will!" Sora yelled banged his fist against the table making everyone stop as they look towards the boy as they see the determination in his eyes, he stares at Riku for a moment before walking out the armoury, Kairi tried to stop him but brushes past her.

Riku wanted to follow him but was held back by Ven who shook his head telling him not to follow, the silver-haired teen just looks at the doorway in sadness.

In the main hall, Théoden stands in the middle of the room alone, but soon Gamling enters with the king's armour.

"Every villager able to wield a sword has been sent to the armoury." Gamling told Théoden but he doesn't respond as he appears lost "My lord?"

"Who am I, Gamling?"

"You are our king, sire."

"And do you trust your king?"

"Your men, my lord... will follow you to whatever end." Gamling said as he begins dressing the king in his armour.

"To whatever end... where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountains."

As he spoke the people in the armoury were almost prepared as some walk out in a straight line and given weapons, and a boy has an over-sized helmet put on, and another handed a huge axe, which he looks at in disbelief, the others sharpened their swords.

"Like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West... behind the hills... into shadow."

The lads walk off with their swords and shields, the Uruk-hai marching towards their destination in thousands.

"How did it come to this?" Théoden asked himself as Gamling was finished dressing the king in his armour.

In Fangorn, night has already rolled in while the Ents are still talking amongst themselves, Pippin wakes from his nap and sees the talking going on while Merry has been pacing.

"It's been going on for hours." Merry told Pippin as he saw he was awake now.

"They must have decided something by now." Pippin said as he gets up from the ground and walks next to his friend.

"Decided? No." Treebeard said and soon turns to face the hobbits "We only just finished saying... good morning." at that he looks back at the other Ents.

"But it's night time already." Merry said in disbelief "You can't take forever."

"Don't be hasty."

"We're running out of time!" Merry pointed out to Treebeard who soon looks back again at the others.

"Move! Move to the outer wall." one of the soldiers' commands as everyone was walking around the battlements, Aragorn is sitting on the steps outside the great hall while Sora looked over everything that was being prepared for battle before looking towards the ranger.

Aragorn noticed it and sees the determination in his eyes and then peaks to his left and sees a boy who is talking to another standing by a fire.

"Give me your sword." Aragorn called over the boy who shortly looked over to him and Sora before walking over to them and hands Aragorn his sword as he takes it by the handle.

"What is your name?" Aragorn asked as he inspects the sword.

"Haleth, son of Háma, my lord." Haleth said "The men are saying that we will not live out the night. They say it is hopeless."

Sora puts a hand on the boy's shoulder and smiles in comfort while Aragorn sighed as he stands up and holds the sword out and swings it around as the two watch.

"This is a good sword." Aragorn commented as he hands it back.

"Indeed." Sora impressed of the skill.

"Haleth, son of Háma, there is always hope." Aragorn told the boy as he puts his hand on his shoulder.

"And remember Haleth..." Sora points at the boy's chest as he glances down to his chest "As long as your light in your heart shines, the darkness can be held back." speaking wisely to the boy before turning to Aragorn who nodded at Sora who nodded back.

Later on, Aragorn & Sora were redressing themselves in the armoury, the spiky-haired boy treated his wounds before getting ready, he first took off his jacket before putting on a chainmail and adjusted to fit him properly just like the ranger did as he was preparing, Sora puts on the vambraces he chose as he tightened them also puts a bit of armour around the waist for protection but had a little trouble.

Before he could ask for Aragorn's help, Kairi appeared at his side and tightened it for him as she surprised him.

"What are you doing?" Sora asked.

"It's like your said. 'If I don't fight for the weak who will.' it applies to us as well." Kairi smiled to Sora which he returned and soon saw the rest of the wielders including preparing themselves with some armour that felt right for them.

Kairi continued to smile at him as she then starts to prepares herself and not forgetting more arrows just like Aqua and decided to leave their Elven cloaks behind for this battle.

Sora puts the belt with his dagger on and shortly puts his jacket back on and summons his Keyblade to show he was ready along with the others.

Aragorn was nearly finished as he straps his Elven dagger to his belt and then was handed his sword by Legolas as he noticed him along with the rest.

"We have trusted you this far, you have not led us astray. Forgive me, I was wrong to despair." Legolas apologises to everyone in the room smiled and accepting the apology.

"There is nothing to forgive, Legolas." Aragorn said in Elvish as they smile and pat each other on the shoulder.

"Sora." Riku caught his friend's attention along with the others "I'm sorry as well, and I understand what you meant earlier. But together we will protect those who are in need."

Sora was frowned for a bit and then smiled then held his hand out and him along with Riku held arms together and hugged each other like brothers, others smiled at the sight as Terra patted Ven on the shoulder as the sight reminded them of their bond and receives a chuckle from along with Aqua and Kairi happy to know their friends were okay now.

Gimli then appears as everyone looks over to him who was struggling with his chainmail.

"We had, I'd get this adjusted." The Dwarf moaned and soon the chainmail fell to the ground as everyone smirked and chuckled at the same time "It's a little tight across the chest."

Aragorn nodded a bit in agreement while grinned at each other, suddenly they heard a horn sounding off outside.

"That is no Orc horn." Legolas familiar with the sound as he runs out the room.

"It can't be." Aqua knew the sound too as everyone soon follows Legolas out of the room.

Outside, the horn blows again as two men look over the wall and looked in disbelief.

"Send for the king." he told the second man as he walks off to find Théoden "Open the gate!" he called out as the orders were shouted at the gatehouse.

On the causeway there was an army of Elves from Lórien marching up to the fortress wearing golden armour and blue cloaks with longswords on their backs and bow in hand.

Soon they marched past through the gate and past the men as they stood back and watched in amazement as they march up the stairs to the hall, which Théoden appeared walking down the steps to see the Elves led by Haldir as he walks up to the king and kneels to him and shortly the Lórien Warriors stopped.

"How is this possible?" Théoden asked in shock.

"I bring word from Elrond of Rivendell. An alliance once existed between Elves and Men. Long ago we fought and died together." Haldir told the king as then sees the Fellowship appear at the top of the stairs as they looked shocked as well and walk down the stairs in amazement "We come to honor that allegiance."

Aragorn was the first welcome Haldir and then hugs him surprising him as he smiled and soon separates "You are most welcome."

The Fellowship welcomed Haldir as well and thanked them for coming at a time of need, the army of Elves behind them swiftly turns towards them and stand to attention.

"We are proud to fight alongside Keyblade wielders and alongside Men once more." Haldir told Théoden as the Fellowship smiled.

A moment later, after the arrival of Elf reinforcements to help with the defence of Helm's Deep and replanning, the Fellowship along with the Elves were on the Deeping Wall while the Rohan soldiers were gathered at the Keep.

Now they stand armed and ready on the battlement as the tension rises with the silence but soon, they hear what sounds like rumbling and soon clears which was a sound of marching footsteps approaching as they see lit torches in the distance and hears indistinct grunting and growling.

Everyone on the walls were standing ready and not to give into fear, Kairi was breathing as the wind blows and was nervous while she was holding her bow like the Elves along with Aqua.

Sora took her hand to reassure without the need to look as she smiled and knew who it was.

"You could have picked a better spot." Gimli moaned because he couldn't see over the wall as Legolas smirks along with some of the others.

Aragorn was marching along the Deeping Wall and soon reached his companions.

"Aragorn, Sora. Whatever luck you live by, let's hope it lasts the night." Gimli commented as the Fellowship smiled a bit was soon changed as the thunder rolls in.

"Your friends are with you, Aragorn." Legolas assured.

"Let's hope they last the night." Gimli commented again.

They glanced one more time at the Dwarf as they patted him on the shoulder and Aragorn walks along the wall again, more thunder begins to rumble as Théoden looked up at the sky from his position at the keep, shortly after it begins rain.

"May our hearts be our Guiding Key." Aqua said to herself as her friends nodded in agreement as the sky continues to rumble and the Uruk-hai army closes in, then a captain of the army stands on top of a boulder as he looks over the army and roars as he raises his hand.

"Show them no mercy... for you shall receive none!" Aragorn encourages Elves which also did for Kairi & Aqua.

As the Uruk-hai army continues to march but suddenly the captain on the boulder roars them to a halt which they did and waited, Aragorn stands on the wall as he looks down to the enemy as they grunt and growl while everyone in Helm's Deep waits while ready.

"What's happening out there?" Gimli asked as he jumps to try and see over the wall.

"Shall I describe it you?" Legolas said and shortly looks down to him as he smirks "Or would you like me to find you a box?"

Gimli paused for a second before he laughs, suddenly the Uruk-hai captain battle cries and the whole army began banging their spears to the floor and their fists to their chests.

Aragorn along Sora, Riku, Terra & Ven got their blades ready while the Elves, Kairi & Aqua hold themselves back to not give into taunting, but the Rohan soldiers at the keep got their bows and arrows ready and spears.

In the caves, the women and children can hear the whole thing happening outside as they remain quiet.

Back outside, the taunting continues on as it rains, shortly after an old man at the keep loses his grip on his arrow and it shoots an Uruk in the neck making the whole army stop.

"Hold!" Aragorn yelled to everyone on the Deeping Wall.

Back at the enemy, the uruk that was shot groans as he falls to the ground headfirst, and then the whole army gets ferociously angry as the growl and roar and bash fists against their chests, the captain on the boulder thrusts his sword forward and shouts for the army to advance upon Helm's Deep as they run.

"So it begins." Théoden said standing overlooking the battle with his captains, the uruks were getting closer as they charge.

"Prepare to fire!" Aragorn called out in Elvish, everyone on the Deeping Wall with bows loaded theirs with arrows at the ready as they aimed and waiting for the next order.

"Their armour is at the neck and beneath the arm." Legolas advised.

"Release the arrows!" Aragorn gestured and arrows rained down onto the uruks as many fall dead.

"Did they hit anything?" Gimli asked but was ignored as everyone kept firing their arrows.

"Give them a volley." Théoden ordered and Gamling raises his hand.

"Fire!" The captain gestured and the ordered was relayed to the archers as they released arrows from the keep and down to the uruks as more fall.

"Full volley!" Aragorn raised his sword to the elves on the ground behind the Deeping Wall as they released arrows with great precision over their heads and to the uruks as they fall from the onslaught of arrows, but more come.

"Send them to me! Come on!" Gimli encouraged as it slowly stops raining, several uruks were making it to the wall as they kept firing down on them, suddenly an uruk with a crossbow fired a bolt at the elves killing several of them and followed by more crossbows, they took cover from the bolts but some still kept falling from the wall and onto the floor.

Now that the uruks were close to the wall they brought forth the ladders as they steady them on the ground.

"Ladders!" Aragorn called out

"Good!" Gimli said and readied his axe.

One by one the ladders were getting close to the wall as they were raised up with uruk berserkers on top of them.

"Swords!" Aragorn called once more and the elves got their swords ready and the wielders Keyblades as Kairi & Aqua quickly switch weapons, shortly the uruks on the ladders were struck down or made it to the wall and soon more climbed up to the wall.

It was a hard time defending the wall as elves were trying their best along with the Fellowship, Gimli slides underneath the berserker that killed two elves in two swipes, the Dwarf drives his axe in the uruk as it dropped to the ground and soon stands back up.

"Legolas! Two already!" Gimli told the woodland as he was keeping score.

"I'm on seventeen!" Legolas told his score which made the Dwarf fed up.

"I'll have no pointy-ear outscoring me!" Gimli shouts and soon swings at the uruk who nearly made it on the wall as he falls forward and another swing from the axe into the back.

Legolas shoots the uruks off the ladders as they kept on climbing "Nineteen!" he shouted to Gimli who fights off more uruks to keep up with the score.

Riku thrusts his Keyblade into an uruk and then does a swift spin as he swipes to look behind and another uruk fell to the ground with his head flying off.

Sora & Kairi were back-to-back as they held off the uruks as they kept trying to kill them, Aqua switched back to bow after using her Keyblade and fired down on the enemy and those on the ladders as they climbed while Terra & Ven fought off more.

Aragorn using his sword skills as he swipes across every uruk in his path and then shoves another backwards as it fell along with the ladder, a couple more ladders were pushed back but was moved into position again to climb, some arrows went flying from the Deeping Wall while others defended the with blades.

Back in Fangorn, while Merry & Pippin were still waiting for an answer from the Treebeard who was talking to his fellow Ents.

Speaking of whom, he turns away from the circle to speak with the hobbits.

"Merry." Pippin beckoned as he turns to see Treebeard walking towards themand hoping they came to a decision.

"We have just agreed." Treebeard told them, Merry & Pippin looked at each other and waited for more to hear what the Ent has to say.

"Yes?" Pippin said which made Treebeard shrug a bit.

"I have told your name to the Entmoot and we have agreed, you are not Orcs." Treebeard smiled.

"Well, that's good news." Pippin said as he looks to Merry who wasn't satisfied.

"And what about Saruman? Have you come to a decision about him?" Merry questioned in frustration.

"Now, don't be hasty, Master Meriadoc." Treebeard told the hobbit to calm down.

"Hasty? Our friends are out there." Merry pointed out the situation as he gestures "They need our help. They cannot fight this war on their own."

"War? Yes. It affects us all. Tree, root and twig. But you must understand, young Hobbit." Treebeard kneels down a bit as Merry backs up a bit "It takes a long time to say anything in Old Entish... and we never say anything unless it is worth taking... a long time to say." Treebeard explained to the hobbits.

(Helm's Deep)

"Seventeen! Eighteen! Nineteen! Twenty! Twenty-one!" Gimli shouted as he swings his axe left and right to where the uruks were climbing on the ladders, everyone on the Deeping Wall continues their defence while suddenly on the causeway a bunch of uruks have created a shelter of shields are slowly making their way towards the gate while the arrows and rocks from Rohan had no effect.

Kairi strikes down a uruk and soon pauses as she notices the enemy on the causeway and quickly switches to her bow and loaded an arrow.

"Causeway!" Kairi yelled in Elvish which made some of the elves armed with bows along with Aqua turn towards it and then they fired and the uruks at the side of the group fall away from the causeway dead.

"Is this it? Is this all you can conjure, Saruman?" Théoden taunts as he stood watching.

Not knowing he will regret it soon, there was a couple of uruks that carried a huge metal spiked ball and placed under the wall next to the sluice gates before walking out and another pair placed a second one and runs shortly.

The way towards the sluice gate was cleared as a berserker comes running through holding a lit torch while the uruks cheered to bring down the wall.

Aragorn suddenly notices the uruk charging to gate "Bring him down, Legolas!" he shouted and the woodland Elf shoots an arrow, Sora heard Aragorn speaking and soon notices the uruk running for the wall with an arrow in his shoulder now from Legolas.

"Kill him! Kill him!" Aragorn yelled and Legolas shot another arrow, Sora then realised what was going to happen.

"Take cover!" Sora yelled to his friends who started and he rushes for Kairi and shoves himself into her and onto the grounds to protect her, the berserker then made a dive for the sluice gate and the bombs explode, demolishing the wall as the masonry flies everywhere and Théoden soon looks in shock of what he just witnessed.

Aragorn & Aqua fell to the ground as they were caught in the blast while the others on the wall covered themselves from the flying rocks, everyone in the caves heard the explosion as they look up frightened.

The bits of wall that went flying landed on some of the uruks, the wielders who weren't caught in the blast sat themselves up and coughed from the smoke, as soon the smoke clears and couldn't believe their eyes, while on the ground Aragorn & Aqua lay unconscious.

Théoden was in so much shock in he couldn't believe it either that the Deeping Wall was now breached, the uruk army tries to rush through the gap but was slowed down by a stream of water.

Back at the gate, Théoden took notice as he turned away from the wall and sees the uruks on the causeway making it to the gate and some were pushed off as other uruks appeared while holding a battering ram.

"Brace the gate!"

The soldiers rush to the back of the gate and brace themselves, the ram hits the gate making the shove back and then pushes themselves forward again to hold it back.

On top of the gate the barricades open and the soldiers fire their arrows and spears and throwing down rocks on the uruks in hopes of stopping them from breaking down the gate.

"Hold them! Stand firm!"

Back down on the ground, the water cleared and uruks with spears rushes in the middle, Aragorn & Aqua regained their senses and soon looks towards the gap in the wall.

"Aragorn/Aqua!" Gimli & Ven yelled at the same time as they notice their friends jump off and land in the middle of the gap shocking Terra and Aqua.

"Gimli!" Aragorn called out, Ven & Gimli fights as many uruks as they can but was punched backwards stunning them as they landed in the water, Aragorn & Aqua quickly nodded at each other and got their blades ready.

"Release arrows!" Aragorn called in Elvish and the elves fired their arrows at the uruks "Charge!" he holds up his sword along with Aqua holding her Keyblade and charges with elves following behind them with swords.

They strike the spears away and some elves were caught in the tips, they fight all the uruks in their path and easily decapitating them, Legolas sees the situation and throws an uruk shield on the floor and slides on it and at the same time fires arrows while the other wielders ran down the stairs on the right side of the now breached wall and killing enemy in their path to go help their friends.

Legolas then releases the shield straight into the body of an uruk as he reaches the bottom. Gimli was helped out the water by Aragorn, Aqua & Terra did the same for Ven as they carried him out of the water and were all back into the fight with all their friends gathered to help, the elves defend the left side of the wall while on the ground the rest of them charged after firing arrows and with the help of the Fellowship to hold them back for as long as they can.

In Fangorn, Treebeard walks back to the hobbits after talking to his fellow Ents once more.

"The Ents cannot hold back this storm. We must weather such things as we have always done." he told the hobbits.

"How can that be your decision?" Merry questioned while fuming.

"This is not our war." Treebeard pointed out.

"But you're part of this world!" Merry yelled shocking Treebeard and soon the hobbit looks towards the other Ents "Aren't you?!" they looked at each other as they grunt from the hobbit's question "You must help. Please! You must do something."

"You are young and brave, Master Merry." Treebeard said as the hobbit looks back towards "But your part in this tale is over. Go back to your home."

At that Merry looks away as he was utterly broken by this outcome. Later the hobbits are preparing themselves to leave, Pippin walks to his friend stares facing away.

"Maybe Treebeard's right. We don't belong here, Merry. It's too big for us. What can we do in the end? We've got the Shire. Maybe we should go home." Pippin said hoping to cheer his friend up but still kept his expression.

"The fires of Isengard will spread... and the woods of Tuckborough and Buckland will burn. And..." Merry turns to face Pippin "And all that was once green and good in this world will be gone." he told the Took before taking him by the shoulder.

"There won't be a Shire, Pippin." Merry said and soon walks away from his friend leaving to think hard.

Back with the Battle of Helm's Deep, Théoden looks down the ground where the fight by the breached wall was, The Fellowship kept on fighting off the uruks along with elven warriors but the horde felt endless as they kept coming.

"Aragorn!" The ranger heard his name as he looked up to keep and see Théoden talking down to him from above "Fall back to the keep! Get your men out of there!"

"To the keep!" Aragorn called and the elves began to retreat, Aqua heard what he said and told the other wielder in english to retreat to the keep and relayed it onto the elves next, the elves quickly ran to the stairs and covered for the remaining forces to retreat.

"Pull back to the keep!" Aragorn yelled once more as he gestures and the elves rush past him, the ranger then looks up the left side of the wall "Haldir!"

Haldir who was defending the left side of the wall looks down to Aragorn after he struck down an uruk.

"To the keep!" Haldir nodded at what Aragorn told him and relayed it to the other elves on the wall to pull back.

Legolas along with an elven warrior was dragging Gimli to keep, Kairi kept firing arrows to cover them but was shortly grabbed by the arm from Sora and was told to run up the stairs and she did.

Haldir keeps shouting to the elves fall back, then he strikes a few uruks but then was stabbed by an uruk in the stomach and then stabs the uruk back and clutches his stomach feeling blood as he looks around him and turns around with his back turned and shortly stabbed in the by another uruk.

"Haldir!" Aragorn yelled as he noticed and then climbs the stairs killing the uruks in his path, the wielders saw what happened as they look in shock.

Aragorn soon reaches Haldir who's head shortly falls back in the rangers' arms lifeless, he looked at him for a bit and then places his hand on own chest and then Haldir's, suddenly he notices the uruks running towards then and then leaps up punches one and jumps to the top of the propped-up ladder against the back wall and swinging to the ground and falling with it as he landed on the uruks on the ground.

Meanwhile at the Gate, the uruks are still battering down the gate with their ramp, but suddenly they make a hole in it and the ram was caught on a Rohan soldier as he was dragged back along with the ram.

"Brace the gate!" one of the men shouted, at the same time the uruks with crossbows then shoots through the hole killing some men while others fire back with their arrows and holds back the uruks as they walk through it.

"To the gate. Draw your swords!" Théoden ordered as he and the captains along with the reserves marches to the gate, while that was happening the Fellowship runs up the steps with the remaining soldiers who fired their arrows to the uruks covering them so they can run into the keep.

Back at the gate, Théoden and the others attempts to push the uruks away but they kept coming, one suddenly took Gamling by the neck but the uruk's arm was cut off by the king, and then a long spear stabs Théoden in the shoulder, but that didn't stop him as he took hold of a spear behind them and stabs the uruk back which made it release from Théoden's shoulders as he grunted in pain.

"Make way!" Gamling called as he dragged the king back and the men charges at the gate and pushes them "We cannot hold much longer!" at that the gate was starting to give away.

Aragorn who taps the king on the shoulder reassuring as him along with Gimli, Sora & Ven came by to help push the uruks back.

"Hold them!" they heard.

"How long do you need?" Aragorn turns to Théoden while his companions kept fighting the uruks.

"As long as you can give me." Théoden said as he takes his sword back from Gamling, Aragorn nods and pushes Gimli into a side passage with Sora & Ven following them leaving the men of Rohan to surge forward to the gate.

"Timbers! Brace the gate!" Théoden called out.

Meanwhile outside the wall, Aragorn and Gimli open a secret side door on the right-hand side of the causeway on the rocks, there is a gap between the rocks in the causeway as Aragorn peers round the corner of the wall to see many uruks fighting to get in through the gate.

"Come on. We can take them." Gimli gets impatient.

"It's a long way." Aragorn whispered, the Dwarf looks and hesitates for a bit, Sora & Ven peered a bit and sees there was so many on the causeway, and took deep breaths as they ready themselves.

"Toss me." they heard and looked towards Gimli who spoke.

"What?" Aragorn asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I cannot jump the distance you'll have to toss me!" Gimli admits and soon Aragorn takes hold of him ready to throw "Eahh, don't tell the Elf."

"Not a word." Aragorn promised and Sora & Ven nodded as they promise too, after that the ranger then throws Gimli across to the causeway shocking the uruks, and soon they all jumped across and strikes at the uruks and getting them away from the gate and holding them back.

Théoden watches a bit as they saw the four holds back the uruks "Shore up the door!" he ordered, the men bring wood to repair and barricade the gate, meanwhile on the ground the uruks were preparing ballistas to fire with massive hooks the rest of the wielders along with Legolas noticed.

The ballistas then fire up to the keep with ropes attached and soon attaches to the wall, the men attempt to push them free while on the ground a few uruks pulled a rope attached to a larger ladder as more uruks mount as the ladder begins to rise along with a couple more and soon attached to the walk with hooks on the ladder as the men along with a few remaining elves and wielders defend the walls, Legolas saw a third ladder and draws an arrow and then shoots at the rope attached it.

The ladder then immediately falls backwards, sending the uruks plummeting to their deaths and crushing the ones standing the behind the it.

Théoden continues to oversee the strengthening of the gate as it was almost finished being sealed as he looks towards the four on the causeway holding back the uruks.

"Gimli! Aragorn! Sora! Ventus! Get out of there!" they heard as they look towards Théoden, suddenly they were grabbed by a couple of uruks, the last piece of wood was placed against the door sealing it.

"Aragorn/Sora!" Legolas & Riku yelled from above them while holding some rope, their friends freed themselves from the uruks and soon the two above them threw down the rope and they noticed the ropes, Sora & Ven took hold of one rope and Aragorn took hold of the other while holding onto to Gimli.

They were then pulled up slowly away from immediate danger up to the wall as the uruks rush for the gate once more, the rest of the wielders came to help to pull them up faster.

Another ladder has made it to the high wall as they see it, the defence was failing badly as the men were almost dropping like flies, finally after much pulling, they helped their friends over the walls and got back into the fight.

Back down at the gate.

"Pull everybody back. Pull them back." Théoden told Gamling.

"Fall back! Fall back!" Gamling yelled to everyone in the keep, shortly after that the gate was then pushed open and the uruks started rushing through it.

"They have broken through! The castle is breached. Retreat! Retreat!" Theoden yelled as the men started to run to the keep, Aragorn followed by the rest Fellowship run towards in a hurry as the uruks run up the stairs that leads above the gate as they pursue those who are retreating.

They were suddenly slowed down by some uruks at the steps already and kills each one in their path before running for the keep.
