Chapter 5 - I received a letter and a phone call from my ex-bully!?:
Lelouch sat in a chair, examining the letter in his hand with a curious expression. "I wonder who could have sent this letter and why they sent it to me?" he thought to himself.
Lelouch sat in a chair, holding the mysterious letter in his hand and lost in thought. Euphy walked into the room and noticed his preoccupied expression. "Still thinking about who sent the letter to you?" she asked, taking a seat beside him and trying to read his thoughts.
"Yeah, but there's something I don't understand," Lelouch replied, furrowing his brow. "The person who sent this letter usually writes my name in front of the letter, but that person didn't do it. It's probably someone who hates me."
Euphy raised an eyebrow. "Maybe it's just a fangirl letter since some girl has a crush on you!" she said with a curious smile.
Lelouch shook his head. "No, I don't think so. All the girls except Milly and Nina know that I'm not interested in romance or dating."
Euphy looked thoughtful. "But then who could have sent the letter?"
Lelouch shrugged. "I have no idea. But whoever it is, they must have a reason for sending it to me without putting my name on it."
Euphy suggested they analyze the letter for clues, but after a while, Lelouch's mind began to wander. He couldn't help but wonder why someone would go through the trouble of sending an anonymous letter to him. Suddenly, Euphy's voice broke his train of thought. "Hey, do you want some tea? I think it'll help us focus better."
Lelouch nodded gratefully, and Euphy left to fetch some tea. As she left, Lelouch closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. When he opened his eyes, the letter was still there, staring back at him with its mysterious contents.
When Euphy returned with the tea, they continued their analysis, but they couldn't find anything useful. Frustrated, Lelouch leaned back in his chair and took a sip of his tea. "This is so frustrating," he muttered.
Euphy sighed sympathetically. "I know. But don't worry, we'll figure it out eventually. We just need to keep looking."
Lelouch nodded, feeling a bit better. He knew that with Euphy's help, they would eventually get to the bottom of this mystery. After a while, Euphy gave up and decided to play with Nunnally in the garden to keep her company while Lelouch kept analyzing the letter.
Lelouch was grateful for Euphy's understanding and was determined to solve the mystery on his own. He continued to pore over the letter, searching for any clues or hidden meanings that he might have missed.
So he gives up, reads the letter and it says:
Hello Nerd,
It's Joe and you didn't think it was the last time you had seen me and my gang at Ashford did you? Well then you're wrong because I will call you at 9:40pm and I got your house number from Ms. Low, you're Language teacher but I want you to answer that call because you will need to take it or else Rivalz and that orange colour head girl will be punished and taken by my gang so if I were you then I will take that call so yeah and remember that call is at tonight at 9:40pm and don't you even think about calling the police or getting help from your friends and that yellow haired guy too so see you tonight.
From Joe and his gang
After, Lelouch read the contents of the letter and his eyes widened. It was a threat from Joe and his gang, and they were planning to call him later that night. He knew that he couldn't take the threat lightly and immediately contacted Rivalz and Shirley, advising them to stay alert.
Euphy appeared and questioned Lelouch "So Lelouch did you find out who was the sender of that letter you got?"
"Yes and it's Joe and his gang!" Said Lelouch
"Who's Joe?" Euphy looked confused
"Joe is the guy who bullies me at Ashford Academy with his gang but 2 days ago, he and his gang got expelled from Ashford because they bullied others and were late so their parents decided to send them into boarding school in Australia." Said Lelouch after explaining everything about Joe and his gang.
"Oh then what did Joe say in the letter?" Euphy questioned Lelouch
"He threatened to harm Rivalz and some girl with orange hair which I know it is Shirley and if I don't answer his call tonight at 9:40 pm. He also warned me not to involve the police or my friends," Lelouch replied, his expression serious. "I have already called Rivalz and Shirley to informed them."
Euphy nodded in understanding. "We'll figure out a plan to keep everyone safe.
"I hope so Euphy I hope so." Said Lelouch with a said face
As the evening approached, Lelouch's nerves were on edge. He kept looking at the clock, waiting for the phone call from Joe and his gang. Finally, at 9:40 pm, the phone rang. Lelouch took a deep breath and answered it.
"Hello?" he said, trying to keep his voice steady.
"Hey, nerd. Did you get my letter?" Joe's voice sneered at the other end of the line.
Lelouch gritted his teeth. "Yes, I did. And I've called Rivalz and Shirley to stay away from you and your gang, Joe."
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line, and then Joe laughed. "You think that you can just call your friends and protect them from us? You're wrong, nerd. We'll get you and your friends eventually."
"But I want you to meet me after school in one month at the closest playground in Ashford Academy," Joe continued, "and we'll talk about it. Make sure that no one is following you, and don't you even think about calling the police or getting help from your friends and that yellow-haired guy too."
Lelouch agreed to the meeting but only on the condition that Joe keeps his friends out of it and doesn't have any tricks up his sleeve. As soon as he hung up, Lelouch knew that he had to do something to protect himself and his friends. He was grateful for Euphy's understanding, but he was determined to solve the mystery and protect his loved ones on his own.
After that Lelouch felt a weight lift off his shoulders, but he knew that the danger was far from over. He looked up to see Euphy standing in the doorway, a concerned look on her face.
"So, how did it go?" she asked, coming into the room.
"Joe won't hurt Rivalz and Shirley for now, but there are still four weeks left until the Livestreamers Award ceremony," Lelouch replied, his voice still tense.
Euphy nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Well then, let's choose your outfit next week. But can you also teach me for my next science assessment?" she asked, trying to lighten the mood.
Lelouch couldn't help but smile at her attempt to distract him. "Sure, I'll help you with your assessment. But first, let's make sure that we're safe and that Joe doesn't try anything else."
Euphy nodded in agreement, and the two of them spent the rest of the evening discussing different ways to protect themselves and their friends. Even though Lelouch was grateful for Euphy's support, he knew that he had to take matters into his own hands and solve the mystery of who was behind the anonymous letter.
The next day, Lelouch, Gino, and the others had plans to go to school, but the heavy rain disrupted their plans, and school was cancelled for the day. Lelouch saw this as an opportunity to do more research on Joe and find out who sent him the anonymous letter. He went to his room and sat down at his desk, pulling out his notebook to start his investigation.
Just as Lelouch was about to dive into his research, Gino approached him. "Hey, LelThe next day, Lelouch, Gino, and the others had plans to go to school, but the heavy rain disrupted their plans, and school was canceled for the day. Lelouch saw this as an opportunity to do more research on Joe and find out who sent him the anonymous letter. He went to his room and sat down at his desk, pulling out his notebook to start his investigation.
Just as Lelouch was about to dive into his research, Gino approached him. "Hey, Lelouch, can we talk for a minute?" he asked, looking serious.
Lelouch nodded and motioned for Gino to take a seat. "What's on your mind?"
Gino hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Lelouch, is it true that the person who sent you that letter was really Joe?"
Lelouch's eyes widened in surprise at Gino's question. "Yes, it was Joe," he confirmed.
Gino nodded thoughtfully, but Lelouch could see the concern etched on his face. "I won't tell anyone, Lelouch. I understand that this is a delicate situation, and we need to handle it with care. But I want to help you in any way I can."
Lelouch was touched by Gino's offer of support. "Thank you, Gino. I appreciate it, but I don't want to put anyone else in danger. This is something that I have to deal with on my own."
Gino nodded, understanding Lelouch's determination to protect his friends. "I understand, but just remember that we're all here for you, no matter what. And if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."
Lelouch smiled gratefully at Gino's words. "Thanks, Gino. I'll keep that in mind."
With that, Gino left Lelouch to his research, and Lelouch started to scribble down notes in his notebook, trying to piece together any clues.
"Let's see," he muttered to himself. "Joe is in Australia, but he somehow managed to send me a letter. How is that possible?"
He remembered that the letter had arrived on April 4th, a Friday, and that Joe and his gang had been expelled from Ashford on April 2nd, a Wednesday. Lelouch quickly wrote down "4th of April, Friday: The letter sent by Joe" on an orange sticky note and stuck it onto his notebook. Then he wrote down "2nd of April, Wednesday: Joe and his gang expelled from Ashford" on a light red sticky note and stuck it on his notebook with the orange sticky note. "That could be a clue," he thought to himself.
As he worked, Lelouch couldn't shake the fear that Joe and his gang were still out there, waiting to strike. He knew that he had to be careful and methodical in his approach.
"I need to get more information about Joe and his gang," he said to himself, "but I don't want to call Milly. She knows everything about everyone in Ashford Academy, but I don't want to risk her using the information against me or my friends."
Just then, Lelouch's phone buzzed with a message from Shirley. "Hey, Lelouch, are you okay? I heard about the letter from Joe. Let me know if you need anything."
Lelouch smiled at Shirley's message, grateful for her concern. "Thanks, Shirley. I'm okay for now, but I appreciate your support."
He realised that he could turn to his friends for help and advice, even if Milly wasn't an option. With renewed determination, he continued to work on his investigation, piecing together any clues he could find.
Meanwhile at the Weinberg's family residence, Gino's father, George Weinberg, was in the middle of an official channel call with the 98th Britannian emperor himself, Charles zi Britannia.
"George my friend, it seems that we can't have anyone in the royal family with Geass because I'm afraid that Marianne may be mad at me," the emperor said.
George raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Well, what do you suggest then?" he questioned.
"If you're willing to accept it, then I suggest that we use one of your sons to have Geass, and that Geass will be given by C2, of course," the emperor replied.
George's expression turned thoughtful as he considered the emperor's proposal. "I see," he said. "I'll have to discuss this with my wife and sons, of course. But I'm willing to consider it."
The emperor nodded in agreement. "Good. I trust that you'll make the right decision."
"I will make my decision in a few days, in 2 weeks, then I will tell you who I shall pick to have Geass by C2," George said firmly.
With that, the official channel call ended, and George sat back in his chair, deep in thought. He knew that this decision would have major consequences, not just for his family but for the entire empire. He would have to weigh the risks carefully before making a final decision to give Geass to one of his sons.
As he sat there, lost in thought, his wife Amelia entered the room. "George, is everything all right?" she asked, noticing the troubled look on his face.
George looked up at her and sighed. "I just had a call with the emperor. He wants one of our sons to have Geass."
Amelia's expression turned serious as she considered the implications of such a decision. "We will have to be careful, George. We can't let this power corrupt our family or our empire."
George nodded in agreement. "I know. I'll have to think long and hard about who to choose, and I'll have to make sure that they understand the responsibilities that come with this power."
Amelia smiled reassuringly at him. "I have faith in you, George. You'll make the right decision."
With those words of encouragement, George took a deep breath and returned to his thoughts. He knew that this decision would shape the future of their family and their empire, and he had to make sure that he made the right choice. The stakes were too high to take this lightly.
To Be continued
Who do you think that Gino's father will choose to give Geass to? And what kind of geass do you think they will get?
You can give suggestions or ideas to me about that person's geass in reviews and it will be revealed in the next chapter or sooner chapters.
