Chapter 6 - Calming down and the celebration of 2nd years:

Yesterday was a rainy day, Lelouch spent his time researching Joe and his gang. However, he still needed more information on them. On the other hand, the 98th emperor suggested to George Weinberg that one of his sons should be given geass by C2, but George had to make the decision himself.

The following day, the sun was shining bright as Lelouch sat in class at Ashford Academy. He pulled up his laptop and scanned through the information he had gathered so far, but it wasn't enough. He needed more information quickly. Lelouch closed his laptop and refocused as the teacher began the lesson.

However, his mind kept drifting back to the upcoming Livestreamer's Awards ceremony. It was important for Lelouch to attend the ceremony as Lulu to maintain his cover and keep it a secret from the other students at Ashford Academy, except for Milly, Rivlaz, and Nina.

It was also an opportunity for him to gather more information on Joe and his crew. Lelouch made a mental note to prepare for it after the Awards ceremony and his meeting with Joe.

Just then, Suzaku walked up to Lelouch and asked him what he was up to that day. Lelouch hesitated for a moment before answering, "Just studying for now. What do you have in mind?"

Suzaku suggested they go for a walk in the park, and Lelouch found himself agreeing as he needed a break from the stress of his double life. They walked in silence for a while, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the fresh air. Lelouch was grateful for Suzaku's friendship, which was a rare ray of light in his otherwise dark and dangerous world.

As they strolled through the park, Suzaku brought up the topic of Joe and his gang, asking Lelouch if he had received a letter from Joe two days ago. Lelouch confirmed that it was indeed from Joe and that he was doing research on him and his gang to get payback once and for all.

Suzaku then asked, "How's the investigation coming along?" Lelouch sighed and replied, "It's slow going. I still don't have enough information on Joe and his gang." He added, "But there's actually something I have to tell you after my meeting with Joe."

Suzaku looked at Lelouch with concern. "What is it, Lelouch? Is everything alright?"

Lelouch hesitated for a moment before answering. "It's complicated, Suzaku. There are things about my past and my family that I haven't told you yet. But I promise I will tell you everything after I meet with Joe."

Suzaku nodded in understanding, knowing that Lelouch had his reasons for keeping certain aspects of his life hidden. "Okay, Lelouch. I trust you. Just promise me that you'll be careful," he said.

Lelouch smiled gratefully at Suzaku. "I will, Suzaku. I always am."

They continued their walk for a while before eventually heading back to their classroom, where they attended four classes. As they finished their fourth class, Milly approached Lelouch and informed him about a student council lunch meeting taking place that day. She also mentioned that Lelouch's younger siblings would be joining them.

"Hey, Prez. Why are we having a lunch meeting? Haven't we finished all the payments for the clubs?" Lelouch asked Milly, curious about the reason for the meeting.

"Well that's because it is almost time that our student council meetings as 2nd years are over and even though we are still going to be the same student council members in Ashford." Milly answered Lelouch's question.

"Ah, I see," Lelouch nodded in understanding. "So it's like a farewell lunch for us as 2nd-year student council members, even though we'll still be on the council next year."

Milly smiled and nodded. "Exactly! And it's also a chance for your siblings to meet the rest of the council and get to know them better."

Lelouch smiled back. "Well, that does sound like a good idea. I'll make sure to let Nunnally and Rolo know."

"Great! The meeting will be in the student council room at noon. Don't be late!" Milly reminded him with a grin before walking away.

As the bell rang, Lelouch bid farewell to Milly and headed to the boys' changing room for his P.E. class. As he took off his school jacket, Gino's voice caught his attention from a few lockers away.

"Hey, Lelouch! Did Prez say something about a lunch meeting?" Gino asked, his curiosity piqued.

Lelouch turned to face Gino and nodded. "Yeah, Milly mentioned that we're having a lunch meeting today. It's like a farewell gathering for the student council members as 2nd years."

Gino's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh, I see. That sounds like fun. I heard your siblings will be joining us too?"

Lelouch grinned. "Yeah, Nunnally and Rolo will be there. It'll be a good chance for them to get to know everyone in the council."

Gino smiled back. "Awesome. See you there, Lelouch."

Lelouch nodded and finished changing before heading out to the P.E. field with Gino.

And as Lelouch and Gino headed out to the P.E field, the teacher announced that it was almost their last P.E. class with him.

"Okay, class. Today is almost your last lesson for P.E. with me. Next week will be your last P.E. class," the teacher announced to both Class 2-C and Class 2-D.

Lelouch groaned inwardly, realising that the school year was almost over. He had mixed feelings about it, as he was looking forward to summer break, but he would also miss his friends and the student council. But he needed to prepare for the Livestreamers Awards ceremony and the meeting that he had with Joe after 1 month.

After their P.E. class, class 2-C and class 2-D quickly showered and changed back into their uniform, while Lelouch, Suzaku, and Rivalz changed back into their uniforms, and Lelouch informed them about the student council lunch meeting. They then headed to the student council room, where Milly was setting up the table with various dishes and drinks.

"Hey, Lelouch! You made it, and you're not late this time!" Milly exclaimed, greeting him with a hug.

Lelouch smiled and hugged her back. "Of course, I wouldn't miss it."

"Hello to you guys too, Gino, Suzaku, and Rivalz!" Milly greeted each of them with a hug.

As they waited for the rest of the council members to arrive, Lelouch chatted with Milly about their plans for the summer break, while Gino and Rivalz engaged in a friendly debate about who was the better athlete.

Soon enough, the other council members arrived, and they all sat down to enjoy the food and each other's company. It was a bittersweet moment for everyone in the student council, knowing that this would be their last lunch meeting as 2nd-year council members, but looking forward to the next school year as well.

As they ate and chatted, Milly proposed a toast to their friendship and the memories they had shared during their time as student council members. They all raised their glasses and clinked them together, savouring the moment and the bond they had formed.

The happy atmosphere was suddenly interrupted when Milly questioned Lelouch about the letter he received from Joe.

"So Joe sent you a letter to threaten you with Shirley and Rivalz?" Milly asked, her expression turning serious.

Lelouch nodded, his own expression darkening. "Yes, he did. And I won't let him get away with it."

Suzaku chimed in, his voice firm. "We'll help you however we can, Lelouch. You don't have to face this alone."

Lelouch smiled gratefully at his friends, feeling a sense of determination welling up inside him. He knew that with their support, he could take on anything Joe and his gang threw his way.

"All right now let's not talk about any bad people or things now and let's enjoy this celebration." Said Milly.

Milly's words brought a sense of relief to the group, and Lelouch couldn't help but feel grateful for her lightheartedness.

"You're right, Milly," he said with a smile. "Let's enjoy this celebration and forget about our troubles for a while."

After enjoying the celebration, the group headed to their last two classes for the week. Lelouch couldn't believe that they would be third-years in just one week. As they walked to their classes, they made a quick stop at their lockers to grab their computers for their design class.

Suddenly, Gino approached Lelouch and asked if they could meet at the Flower Garden after school. Lelouch was curious, but also a little worried since they usually rode home together.

"Sure, Gino. But what about our ride back home?" Lelouch asked.

"Don't worry about it, it's important and I need to talk to you today after school," Gino replied firmly.

"Actually l want to ask you out on a date with me this Sunday so that I want to know if you have feelings for me like I have for you Lelouch." Gino thought to himself.

Lelouch couldn't help but wonder what Gino wanted to talk about as he headed to his design class. He tried to focus on his work, but his mind kept drifting to Gino's request.

Meanwhile, Gino was eagerly waiting for Lelouch at the Flower Garden. He couldn't wait to ask him out on a date and find out if Lelouch felt the same way about him.

As soon as Lelouch's class ended, he rushed to meet Gino at the Flower Garden. He could see that Gino was already there, waiting for him.

"Hey Gino, what's up?" Lelouch asked as he approached him.

After Lelouch arrived at the Flower Garden, Gino took a deep breath and looked at him with a nervous expression. "Lelouch, I was wondering if you would like to go out on a date with me this Sunday?" he asked, his heart racing.

Lelouch was surprised by Gino's request. "What?!" he asked, needing clarification.

To be continued

Next chapter will have some Gino x Lelouch moments and I will try my best to write it as good as possible.

Where do you think that Lelouch says yes or no? And where should their date be at? Some reviews would be nice.
