[LOG FILE 053: TORVUS BOG, AETHER]
Arriving back in the light world I climbed my way out of the water and looked to see if my Dark Aether excursion had yielded results. Sure enough, the laser emitter was hitting a power node and had extended some new platforms. Jumping across these I found a Kinetic Orb Cannon that fired me up to a ledge above the emitter, granting me access to the exit. The following tunnel had a couple Preeds that I decided to avoid as I made my way back into the main chamber.
I quickly scanned the access panel in front of me, disengaging the final locking arm. Once it finished rising the central base of the chamber lifted up, revealing a hidden door to a secure area. I wasted no time going into the new area, not that I had much choice considering my restricted mobility.
The new chamber seemed to go deeper still as I walked around the outside of what appeared to be a large cage. There was something swimming around inside the cage itself, but my Scan Visor couldn't get a good read on whatever it was due to being too far away. Whatever this thing was, one thing was certain: it was big, and I did not want to deal with it. But like the old saying goes, you can't always get what you want…
