Nigel continues through Sarge's Basic Braining Course. Also I have already updated the prior chapters but I replaced Abigail with another KND character Rachel (AKA Numbuh 362) as the roll of Lily

Sarge's Basic Braining Part 2
Nigel makes his way through the tunnel and raises the flag to progess and slides down a pipe and exits out into a war torn area involving airplanes
"Well should have expected an air terrain field." Nigel said and sees a wall with pipes "Now how to progess."
"You can grab poles like that and swing on them." Sarge told him from the projection "It's all about upper body strength, you know. Hrrrrr." He flexes
"Well I go plenty of practise doing that." Nigel said thanks to his acrobatics training he knew how to swing on poles and does so to ascend up the wall
He had to time it to avoid a flame thrower but make it to the second set of pipes but quickly sorts some emotional baggage before continuing up the wall avoiding the fire shooters. He then jumps onto a platform and looks at the wall
"Hmmmm…this wall is weak…I wonder…" Nigel said and punchs it with his mental fist and breaks it down "Excellent now have to keep moving. Can't let Nelson win."
Nigel sees some tightropes nearby and uses them to jump up and ascend up wards and finds another part of the wall to punch open. As he step forward she finds he is by a load of statinariry planes and sees ahead Heather, Kristoff and Flash Sentry hanging onto each other and two trapeze scared and stuck.
"As you can see, the trapeze is very difficult." Sarge said on the projection. "Most cadats can't handle it. You might just want to stay away from it." Just then the three lose there grip and plumment to the abyss below. Sarge said "You still get a participation ribbon at the end of camp…"
"I'll show you." Nigel said determined.
Nigel was about to go but stops when he sees a Mental Vault in a secluded spot he would have missed if he kept going. He punches it open and sees a real titled 'Sarge's Shame' as he looked though it he Sarge applying for the Super soldiers, however due to the tests showing he was too egotistical and a bit mentally unstable he was refused and kicked out, same goes for all other military divisions, even the cooking brigade. The last image shows Sarge walking by a bunch of military posters and shaking his fist in anger.
"Woah…could this be Sarge's real memories outside his delusions….must be" Nigel said thinking. He decides to keep moving.
Nigel goes through the trapeze course of which had a lot of risk of him falling to the abyss but luckily his life as a circus acrobat helped him able to make it through the area and gets close to the next bit with some rails. He however sees Nelson already there.
"Hey, kid. I think I see a…. silver dollar out there on that rail." Sarge suddenly said to Nelson "Why don't you walk out there a bit and pick it up?"
Nigel reaches it as Nelson begins to laugh and slide down the rails. Not wanting to lose this to the camp bully Nigel hurries and begins sliding down the rail. This had him jumping from rail to rail avoid cardboard enemy soldiers or he uses his psychic hand to destroy them.
He nears the end of this bit of the course but ahead he sees Nelson standing on the rail smirking "End of the line loser." Nelson said to Nigel.
"Indeed…for you!" Nigel said and uses his mental hand to smack Nelson off the rail and he falls into the abyss. Nigel mockingly does the same mocking dance and song Nelson did as he rolls into the next area. "Eh eh-eh. Eh, eh, eheh!
Nigel soon found himself in a metal tunnel and he runs down it and soon comes to something that makes his eyes widen, the area was full of logs, half ones actinging as platforms, full ones wrapped in barbwire and around the area were roating saw blades that will slice Nigel in half if he falls.
"Ah, the old rolling tunnel of crazy logs bit!" Sarge said contentinly "An old one but a hard one! What you got to do is…Heh heh…Ha ha ha! Ah who are we kidding? You're never going to make it through that!" He then loudly laughs
"I'll show you! I will be the first to make it through this!" Nigel said determined but also worried.
He then ran across the logs which also began to slowly rotate, meaning Nigel had to be both quick and careful to not slip off. There were some close calls but he made it.
"Phew! That was close." Nigel said
He then slides down a rail and reached the final room where a stage to congratulate those who passed the course was set up but…no one was here.
"Hello? Coach? Hello!" Nigel called out but got no response "Hmmm…I guess I'm early. What should I…" Nigel looks around and what made him stop is when he sees an open door leading to a white hallway, very different from the rest of this mental world "What is that?"
He enters the room and sees it leads to a dead end with something on the wall hidden behind a small red curtain. He approaches it and curious reaches out to pull the curtain open
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE ROOKIE!" Sarge's voice is heard yelling and Nigel is pulled out with psychic powers and towards Sarge who was now on the stage "Now just what in the name of HALO were you doing in there?"
"I was just looking for a way out." Nigel said lying to get out of trouble. Clearly what was there was off limits
"Oh…" Sarge said buying it and calming down and lets Nigel down gently "Sorry about that…I honestly didn't think you'd get to the end so fast. Heck! I didn't even think you'd get to the end at all! You surprised me out there kid"
"I always give 100% to my tasks sir" Nigel said saluting
Sarge nods and then snaps his fingers and in his hand appears a green badge with a green brain on it and floats it to Nigel "Here. You've earned this. Your first PSYCHONAUT MERIT BADGE!"
Nigel was a amazed that he stood dramatically and posed epickly as the badge is attacked to his brown backpack. Once it was done Sarge showed Nigel the way out.
"But I'm always glad to see a soldier come back from the field alive." Sarge said as Nigel returned to his own body. Several of the other campers have come out and were leaving "Now if you excuse me, I got to go back in. I left some good men back there!"
"Um…sure…" Nigel said and backs up and heads for the exit. He exits out of the class only to be stopped by Nelson and Pain.
"Way to make us look bad in there! You're in trouble now! Nelson Muntz ain't happy." Pain said to Nigel angry.
Nelson shoves Pain aside and said to Nigel "You better watch yourself, baldy."
"What's that rugged clothes? You want a piece of me?" Nigel asked not intimidated
"Hey brainiacs. Settle down" Rachel said to both boys
"Why? You worried I'm going to hurt your boyfriend?" Nelson asked teasingly.
Rachel smirks and said "No, because Wiz is standing right behind you." She then walks off.
Both boys surprised look behind them and indeed the scientist agent of the Psychonauts Wiz was standing there arms folded.
Wiz looks at Nigel and said "Your performance, young cadet, was outstanding. I'd like you to report to my lab for some advanced training."
"Oooh! Nigel ther Crigel is going to be in the 'speacial' class." Nelson said as he and Pain leave "Pain, remind me to give him a 'special' beating later, okay?"
"Oh geez he is just jealous." Nigel said rolling his eyes
"These tests are unauthorized, though, so I can't actually ask you to come." Wiz said as he prepares to leave "But if you happen to drop in, well, what could I do? Let me just give you this…" He pulls something out of his lab coat and floats it to Nigel it was a button "Remember: Your talents will always set you apart, Nigel. Sometimes isolation is a good thing. It can lead to important discoveries" He then leaves floating down to the ground below.
Nigel looks at the button then calls out realizing "Wait, I don't even know where your lab is! Is this some kind of test?" He looks around.
He then hears Wiz in his head repeat "Sometimes isolation is a good thing. It can lead to important discoveries"
"And now I'm, hearing things. Great." Nigel said sighing
Nigel decided he best search the camp for clues or hints, as he definatly wants to do that advanced training if it'll help him become a Psyhonaut quicker.
Well Nigel passed Basic Braining and now has a way for more advanced training only he now has to find out where the lab is.
