Nigel begins his search for Wiz's labs and during it we see some of the campers subplots that go on outside the main story.

Looking for Wiz's Lab
Nigel was excited that Agent Wiz was wanting to give him some special training. But to get it he needed to find his lab, but he had no idea where to go. He went back into the classroom and approaches Sarge who was sleeping at a desk.
"Hey did you hear that Sarge?" Nigel said excited which makes the Psychonaut jump up awake. But he continued "I'm gonna get advanced training from Wiz himself!"
"Hey, hey! You stay away from that egghead, you hear me?" Sarge said shaking his head
"Egghead? Permission to speak freely, sir." Nigel said
"Denied." Sarge told him and explained "Listen, Private, those scientific jokers, they don't know what it really means to be a Psychonaut. It's about being in the field, not cooped up in some underground lab all day!"
"It's underground? Ah ha!" Nigel said as Sarge unintentionally gave him a clue.
"Don't even think it!" Sarge told Nigel "That Brain Tumbler contraption of his will turn your mind to mush! I need that brain! I mean, YOU need that brain. Now, dismissed soldier. I've got some serious thinking to do. Lots of important planning!"
"Err…yes sir." Nigel said confused but shrugs it off as he leaves.
Nigel makes his way down the tree to the ground and spots Alejandro still by the girls' cabin focusing on an acorn and approaches him.
"You know Alejandro, a nutcracker might be faster." Nigel told him.
"Tonight, when this baby is full of fine ladies, I'm going to see EVERYTHING." Alejandro said grinning.
"How are you going to fill that nut with ladies?" Nigel asked confused.
"No, my friend." Alejandro said looking at him deadpan "The girls' cabin. I've got a man on the inside." Just then a squirrel's head comes out the hole and Alejandro quickly pushes it back in.
"I get it!" Nigel said realizing and getting excited "You're using Clairvoyance! You grabbed one of the squirrel's nuts and now your using Clairvoyance on it to form a mental link and see what the squirrel sees!"
"Uhhh…could you say, 'acorns' instead of 'nuts' if you repeat that to anybody else?" Alejandro asked.
"I guess but could you teach me to do that?" Nigel asked smiling.
"Hey, I paid a LITTLE bit of attention in class, but not THAT much." Alejandro told him "What you need is an expert in Clairvoyance, where I am merely an expert in the ladies."
Nigel nods and leaves Alejandro to do that and spots Mr. Hippo, Violet, Heather and DJ were together about to play a game of Hide and Seek.
"Okay. I'm gonna close my eyes, right? And then I'm gonna start to count to a hundred. Ok?" Mr. Hippo said explaining the rules "And then you guys hide. Everybody got it?"
"It's hide-and-seek, Hippo, not hide-and-calculous. We've all got it." Heather told him.
"I got it." DJ said "You start counting and then I go hide in that bush."
"Great!" Mr. Hippo said and closes his eyes as he begins to count "One…"
Soon as he started counting Violet turns invisible and both Heather and DJ noticed.
"Violet, I don't usually say this to anyone that isn't me but you are a genius." Heather said smiling "Come on, DJ."
Mr. Hippo not noticing keeps counting but then said "Hold on! This reminds me of a story. It's about counting. Hello?" He opens his eyes and looks around "Man, you guys are good."
Nigel decides to leave them to it and heads for the bridge to the main campground only to be stopped by Chloe and Sabrina.
"No passing!" Sabrina told him
"But I need to get to Wiz's secret lab!" Nigel told them.
"Maybe you should have thought of that before." Sabrina told him firmly.
"I did think of that before. That's why I'm here now." Nigel explained
"Exactly. Now you got to pay the toll." Chole told him.
"One arrowhead." Sabrina said holding out her hand.
"PAY UP!" Chole added
Nigel thinks but then remembers the things DJ gave him and holds one out "I was given this thing. Is that what you're talking about?" He shows them it.
"Yep, that's an arrowhead." Chole said checking it and nods. "You can find them in mental worlds but also littered all over the camp."
"How'd they get here?" Nigel asked.
"Sabrina, the new kid can't be this dumb, right?" Chole asked sighing.
"The camp's built on an Indian burial ground and…" Sabrina began to explain
"Oh, good gosh. Indians buried their dead here?" Nigel asked shocked.
"EWWWWWWWWWW!" Sabrina said shaking her head "I hope not. No stupid, they buried their arrowheads here."
"Like I said they all over and usually easy to notice. So feel free to psychically pull out any you find." Chloe said "Anyway let me have one of yours."
Nigel nods and pays the toll of a single arrowhead and the girls leave and Nigel follows heading to the central camp grounds.
Nigel makes it across and sees that this area on his map was the central area connecting all the other areas. He was walking around thinking on where to look when he sees on top of one of the loudspeaker towers was Veronica and Cheese Sandwich. He climbs up the pole to reach them and the two see him and smiling
"Hey, it's the king of the obstacle course!" Veronica said smiling.
"Hey Nigel! You're awesome!" Cheese Sandwich said smiling "You must be a Psychonaut by now!"
"Yeah! Or even a Double Psychonaut!" Veronica said with a nod.
"Ha! Oh no, not yet. But soon." Nigel said smiling. The two not and turn away "Wow. Those two are so nice!" He said as he was leaving 'I feel terrible at getting annoyed with them earlier.'
However as Nigel left he didn't see both Veronica and Cheese pull out a bottle of poison and a vial each and begin mixing them
Nigel head down to the ground and entered the mess cabin, there he saw the white haired woman again, this time dressed as a chef cooking burgers, Nigel was wondering how this woman was getting around so fast. He then looks ahead and sees Lucio and Luna playing on stage practicing, Luna on drums while Lucio spins a turntable, and doing very well. He also sees Violet drawing on a table but as soon as he gets close she goes invisible so he goes to the stage.
"Hey, you guys are good." Nigel said smiling.
"Thanks man!" Lucio said smiling proudly "Hey, do you have a lighter? Because if you lit it and held it up right now, that would be rad."
"And completely insensitive to me and my issues." Luna said glaring as Lucio.
"Oh right! Right!" Lucio said realizing his mistake "Uh, never mind. I forgot the whole 'fire bad' thing for a moment."
Nigel nods and leaves the hall and sees Chloe and Sabrina making friendship bracelets but then notices Rachel watching, he recalls that she seems to know a lot about the camp and apporches her.
"Hey Rachel. Do you know where Wiz's secret lab is?" Nigel asked her
"Secret? It's printed on your map, duh!" Rachel told him
"Oh I knew that." Nigel said shifty eyed as he really didn't "I was just curious if YOU knew where Wiz's lab was. Because I do."
"Uh-huh." Rachel said not buying it.
Nigel leaves and gets his map out and sees the lab is located in the forest area. He spots the closet path to there and goes down that path.
He walks down the road to the forest area and spots siting by a river playing some guitars was Kristoff and Flash Sentry.
Kristoff sees Nigel and says "Hey, you're that new kid, aren't you?"
"Well, I'm doing some advanced training right now as a matter of fact, so I don't thin 'New Kid' is really a name that you want to get used to saying." Nigel said boastful like.
"Hold on there." Flash said concerned "You're not doing Wiz's advanced training that he does in his secret, underground lab are you? Hidden deep in the iron walls of the GPC where no one can hear you screaming?" he points to said area which was just over the river a metal fenced off area with dome like structures.
"Why, yes I am." Nigel said proudly.
"Oh good grief." Kristoff said looking down and shaking his head.
"Well, nice knowing you." Flash said to Nigel.
Nigel shrugs and walks down the wooded path but after a while he stops and sniffs smelling something, he then hears something moving in the woods and looks around and tried to see by it was moving and hiding to fast. He then shrugs and turns back around only to jump as Rachel was standing behind him having just appeared
"Hey, was that you? Looking at me?" Nigel asked after recovering.
"Maybe you should try getting over yourself?" Rachel told him "There were a lot of other people on that stage besides you."
"No, just now. In the woods." Nigel corrects what he means. He then sniffs her and shakes his head "No, it must have been something else. You don't smell like pond scum."
Rachel was surprised by that but said "Nice. You should write greeting cards."
"There was some sort of shadowy being out there…lurking…. watching…."
"I know of only one creature who fits that description." Rachel said to him "It likes to hide in dark places, silently watching unsuspecting children from a distance."
"Really? Who?" Nigel asked intrigued.
"You, tree sitter!" Rachel declared, she then laughs and leaves.
Nigel roles his eyes and leaves to go to the GPS, on the way he sees the same strange woman again dressed as a park ranger raking leaves and Lisa on a rock throwing paper airplanes. However he keeps going and enters the ground of the GPS passing by Heather who was venting to DJ about Alejandro
"I saw Alejandro peeking into a hole in the girls cabin." Heather said to DJ
"I'm hiding!" DJ said as he was hiding in a small bush.
"And I thought 'Oh Alejandro, when will you peek into the hole in my heart?' Because you just see yourself staring back." Heather said dreamly
"Uh-huh. What?" DJ asked confused.
"I mean, he'd see my new boyfriend, Kristoff staring back." Heather quickly corrected "And he'd be furious at Alejandro."
"Who's Alejandro?" DJ asked more confused.
"Exactly." Heather said to that "And, anyway, there wouldn't even be a hole, because Kristoff fills my heart 'til sometimes I think it's gonna explode."
"One time, I made someone's head explode." DJ points out
"Okay, maybe there's still a little hole." Heather admits.
"Actually, it happened four times." DJ admits.
"But Kristoff and I have each other now, and Alejandro is just gonna have to deal with it." Heather said firmly
"Now they make me wear this special hat so I don't have any more accidents." DJ explained pointing to his tin hat.
"Ugh! Are you even listening, DJ?" Heather asked annoyed.
"I sure hope so." DJ admits.
Hearing enough Nigel keeps going and looks at the old abandoned domes, he was curious on the story of this when suddenly crying got his attention, it almost sounded like Baljeets and it was coming from the large central dome. Nigel climbs up to it and psyhic hand slaps it open to reveal a red velvet room where Baljeet was indeed inside.
"Oh, thanks! I thought I was going to have to eat one of my own arms." Baljeet said to Nigel calming down and comes out
"No problem but what even is this thing?" Nigel asked curious.
"It's a GPC, which stands for Geodesic Psychoisolation Chamber." Baljeet explained.
"Oh wow, so cool!" Nigel said smiling.
"Cool? Do you even have any idea what this thing does?" Baljeet asked in disbelief.
"Uh…something cool?" Nigel guesses
Uh, no." Baljeet said shaking his head and explains "It's a sixth-sensory deprivation tank. A hermetically sealed metaphysical hotbox. In simple terms, it's solitary confinement for psychics."
"Naaaasty. And Coach Sarge locked you inside it?" Nigel said disturbed by this revelation
"Oh no. The staff hasn't put any kids in the GPC since the 50's" Baljeet said shaking his head. "Nelson threw me in here."
"That Spingfield bully and imp accomplice should focus on kids in their own areas or while here assault own size or larger only." Buford said entering the area and overhearing then conversation. "Hey Baljeet, while you were in that cooler, perhaps you noticed a gigantic bear with skin where hair should be?"
"I didn't see anything in there Buford. That's the whole point." Baljeet told him.
"Ah, just so. Empty now." Buford said sighing "Good look dweebs" He walks off.
Baljeet thinks and looks at Buford and realizes something and goes after Buford "Hey Buford, wait!"
Nigel shrugs and looks in the chamber and notices a spot missing a button.
"I wonder…" Nigel said and gets the button out and places it in the spot and suddenly the cusion moves up and reveals a trap door "Hehehe yes!" He smiles and makes his way down.
What awaits him he doesn't know but he was excited to see what Wiz has in store.
