Goldeenopolis Part 1
We come inside the mutated Goldeen's mind and inside we find a fully functioning town with a large radio tower broadcasting. We see the citizens of the city are all smaller versions of the mutant Goldeen who were all going about their day.
A Goldeen crossing guard was letting others cross and spots a mother Goldeen and her baby in a stroller and takes to her with an irish accent saying "Ah, top of the mornin' to ya, ma'am."
"And good day to you, Officer O'Goldeen. How are you today?" The mother Goldeen asked smiling
"Oh, damp and happy. Can't complain!" O'Goldeen said happily "And what are you and the wee one up to on this lovely day?"
"Oh, just following the law as always. All posted directives followed to the letter." The Mother Goldeen said to him.
"Ah, good to hear!" O'Goldeen said with a nod "Not a one of us want any trouble that's for sure!"
The Mother Goldeen looks ahead behind the officer and screams in terror "AHHHHHHHH!"
O'Goldeen looks to see what it is and sees Nigel who was in this world Kaiju sized walking around the city and screams "AHHHHHHHHHH!"
The citizens seeing the giant boy flee, one the Mutant Goldeen citzens said as he flees and points at Nigel "Oh, Shadealor!"
Nigel looks at himself and around the area, he gives off a kaiju like roar. He begins making his way to it, smashing buildings as he goes but then a voice calls out "Hey Shadealor!" Nigel looks around confused "Down here!" He looks down to see a small mutant Goldeen citizen wearing what looked to be a freedom fighter headband.
"Excuse me, were you talking to me?" Nigel asked him.
"Ahhhhhhhhh! Owwwwwww! My ears!" The Mutant Goldeen screamed out rubbing where his ears would be.
"I'm sorry" Nigel said in a softer tone.
"Ahhhhhh! Oh my god! Ahhhhhh!" The Mutant Goldeen cries out before collapsing onto the ground.
"Are you okay?" Nigel asked even softer in voice.
Another Mutant Goldeen wearing a similar head band comes over and checks him and said to Nigel "He's dead!"
"Oh geez, I'm sorry." Nigel said in his normal voice panicked.
"Don't worry, every member of the resistance is prepared to die fighting the tyranny of Lopez the Heavy." The resistance Mutant Goldeen said to Nigel.
"What's Lopez the Heavy?" Nigel asked him.
"He's a giant monster like you, Shadealor." The Resistance Goldeen said "He brainwashed and enslaved almost everyone in Goldeenopolis."
"That stinks." Nigel said with a nod "So hey, have you seen any other humans around here? I'm looking for a girl called Rachel."
"The government archives might have some information about your young girlfriend, Shadealor." The Resistance Goldeen said to Nigel.
"I don't know if she's really my girlfriend." Nigel said blushing and chuckling nervous "I mean, I think she…"
"I only meant she is your friend who is a girl, Shadealor." The Resistance Goldeen explained and as he talks the 'dead' resistance member begins moving and Nigel points at it but he doesn't notice "To access the archives, we must first destroy the broadcast tower Lopez uses to control the populace."
"Check. I'll go smash that, then." Nigel said with a smile as he prepares to move.
"Wait Shadealor!" The Resistance Goldeen said stopping him "In order to reach the tower, you'll need to pass through that wall of lasers." He points to a nearby tunnel "But you'll never make it through the lasers without our help."
"So, are you going to start helping soon?" Nigel asked him.
"First, I need you to do something for the Resistance." The Resistance Goldeen said and points to the building just behind him "Punch a hole in that prison and free my comrades!"
Nigel nods and punchs a hole into the prison destroying it and freeing all locked up in it.
"FREEDOM!" All three of the Resistance members chant out.
"Hooyah! Now how about getting me past those gates?" Nigel said to them.
"Right." The middle Resistance member said nodding "We stole this shield power module from Lopez." He presents a purple merit badge showing a blue figure emitting shield "It's too big for any of us to operate, but it should work for you."
Nigel smiles and accepts it, attaching it to his backpack he now had access to the psychic power of Shield. Then a thought came to him and he asked the resistance "Hey, is this going to upset Lopez and all your little brainwashed neighbors?"
"Nooo." The middle resistance member said shifty eye.
"I doubt it." The left most resistance member added.
"Uh, no, no, no." The right most resistance member said.
"So knocking down the prison and then breaking this laser shield thing….nobody's gonna get mad about that and start shooting at me?" Nigel asked doubting what they said.
"Noooo!" The middle resistance member said to that.
"Uh, maybe one guy would." The left most resistance member said thinking.
"But what is even an entire navy of Goldeen against the might and revolutionary zeal of Shadealor!" The middle resistance member said.
"Wait, what navy?" Nigel asked surprised.
"Meet us at the dam Shadealor." The middle resistance member said as the other two began to leave and he follows shouting "FOR FREEDOM!"
Nigel sighs, well this is going to hurt as he begins heading towards the tunnel.
We then come to a news report known as 'Terror in Goldee'opolis' and we hear Sarge's voice as he begins to tell the news saying "The peaceful city of Goldeenopolis is under attack tonight by a hideous, gigantic monster the terrified citizens have named, 'Shadealor.'
The footage shows tanks being deployed in different areas of the city as Sarge continues with saying "The Navy has responded quickly and decisively, dispatching its entire tank division to neutralize the creature. Soon, authorities say, everything will return to normal or better."
He then tagged on in a low voice and quickly "Kidnapping human children is good."
Nigel made his way through the city having to deal with the tanks firing shots at him, though small they still hurt. He keeps making his way and destroying a lot of the tanks.
Another news report presented by Sarge, this one titled 'Shadealor: On Drugs?' as Sarge said "Well, things have gotten a little embarrassing for Shadealor. Recently surfaced information has strongly linked the previously intimidating monster with common lowlife criminals."
The footage shows a strange vehicle with a electrical machine attacked. Sarge continued "Earlier tonight, Shadealor broke some of his jailhouse cronies out of the slammer so they could enjoy a night on the town, popping pills, and soliciting inexpensive call girls."
The machine gets zoomed in on as Sarge explained "Well, they're in for one nasty hangover! Our beloved Navy has come up with a high-tech new invention: trucks armed with HYPER-ELECTRICITY!"
He then said quickly "When kidnapping children, do not harm the brain."
Nigel now had to dodge the electricity as he made his way to the dam which was past the tunnel he said he had to go through.
To deep with the Hyper Electricity tanks, Nigel uses his new shield power to redirect the electrical blast right back at the tanks with ease. He soon nears the dam and notices what looked to be a turret.
A third news report plays, this one titled 'No Quarter for Shadealor' as Sarge reports "The destruction and terror continue as the hulking, godless child-beast carves a bloody swath though our helpless city."
The footage shows Nigel as more tanks approach to confront him as Sarge continues "Our noble, all-volunteer Navy has been surprised only by the senseless lust for mayhem that seeps from the twisted, black lump of a heart in this creature, still only known as Shadealor."
The footage then shows the turret near the dam which was black and red with spiked horns as Sarge explained "Through it loathes violence in all its forms, the Navy has no choice but to activate its Anti-Monster Turrets, which it guarantees are 100% monster proof."
"Do not get caught stealing children." Sarge then said quickly.
Nigel put that to the test, it was tough to avoid the shots or block them but he managed to get close enough and using his PSI smack destroys the turret with ease.
Once that was clear a resistance member was nearby who said confused "Shadealor, what are you doing down here?"
"I'm trying to get to that Lopez Tower thing so I can smash it." Nigel explained.
"The laser tunnel Shadelor." The Resistance member told him "We have to get through that or we'll never get to Lopez Island!"
"But I though…" Nigel said confused.
"There is no 'I' in 'team' Shadealor!" The resistance member said cutting him off.
"Yeah, but there's an 'I' in 'squish' so watch it." Nigel told him. "I'll go take out your laser tunnel, but then we're going to talk about who's running this revolution."
Nigel doubles back to the laser tunnel and goes through it, when the laser grid was being activated Nigel activates his Shield power and it sends the lasers crazy and overloads the emitors destroying the laser grid rendering the tunnel useless.
Nigel goes to the other side and sees a larger prison with a blimp he then destroys the prison and freeing the prisoners including some resistance members.
"FREEDOM!" All three of them said one by one, in very familiar voices but the was fourth one speaking in a more high society like voice he was the Resistance Pilot.
"So, this big monster, is that the best you could do?" The Resistance Pilot asked.
"We were short on time, and he is good at smashing things!" One of the other Resistance Members tells him.
"Doesn't look like much to me." The Resistance Pilot said shrugging "Come on, let's blow this joint." He and another Resistance Member hurry to the blimp
"Hey, you're welcome!" Nigel said to the pilot annoyed.
"Sorry about him Shadealor. He's bene in prison a long time." One of the resistance members told Nigel. "He's the only pilot the resistance has, and he has an excellent plan! Meet us at the dam so we can put it into action!"
The blimp leaves and goes to the dam. Nigel spots a tiny mental vault and opens it, he sees a reel titled Goldeenopolis Under Siege! The first slide shows the Mutant Goldeen citizens smiling and happy under the sea but then the next slide shows an armored warrior, similar to Sarge but in brown armour and orange visor appear.
The next slide showed the Mutant Goldeens bowing to him as a sort of holy figure, but it was clear it was due to him brainwashing them. The next slide shows Lopez making them people build Goldeenopolis and the final slide shows the completed city and one Resistance member hiding in an alley.
With that Nigel makes his way over to the dam where the blimp is and where the Resistance members were.
"Ha! Now you see the genius of our plan, Shadealor!" The resistance member said.
"First we print flyers." The Resistance Pilot explained "Then we spread them all over the town with my blimp!"
"Winning over the hearts and minds of Goldeenopolis in as soon as six months." The Resistance Member added nodding.
"Six months?" Nigel said shocked.
"You don't like our plan, you can come up with another one!" The Resistance Pilot told him.
"Yes, we are busy!" The resistance member said nodding "We have to select card stock, and then find a decent, but inexpensive printer within the week."
Nigel just roles his eyes and uses the blimp as a bounce pad to jump up to the top of the dam and the upper city and continues on his way.
Well the Resistance is not much help but least Nigel is getting closer to the tower, but what other tricks does the navy have and when will Lopez aka Sarge decided to come fight Nigel himself
