The Hellements 5: Cherubs
Moxxie & Millie were calling Loona
"Hello?" Loona said
"Loona, it's us, Moxxie & Millie, we call to tell you that we may have some bad news." Moxxie said
"What's the matter?" Loona asked
"It's IMP, it's been shut down & disbanded." Moxxie said
"What? I don't understand, what do you mean it's been shut down." Loona said confusingly
"The Overlords Zestial & Carmilla Carmine disbanded the company for what we did to Blitzø." Millie said
"How the fuck did they know what we did to Blitzo & why do they care?" Loona said
"They told us they saw him at the Overlords Meeting." Millie said
"What the fuck was he doing at the Overlord's Meeting, begging the other Overlords to help him." Loona said incredulously
"We don't know, but Zestial told us to run & hide once we find out what happened to Blitzø." Moxxie said "We have no idea what Zestial meant by that, but now I'm beginning to think selling Blitzø to Valentino might've been a bad idea."
"Come on, Moxxie, you said it yourself that it was too late for regrets & I told you we will be fine." Loona said stubbornly
"I'm not sure about that, Zestial & Carmilla seemed very serious & Overlords like them have to be taken seriously." Millie said
"Oh for fuck's sake, can't you two see what's happening, even when we finally got rid of Blitzo, he's STILL fucking things up for us." Loona said irritatingly "So, stop worrying, he's never gonna come back & as far as I know he might already be dead."
"Well…we hope you're right, Loona." Moxxie said
"Good, so just pack up & go back to the Wrath Ring so you can go get new jobs." Loona said as she hung up
Just then, Moxxie's phone rang as he looked at it
"Oh no." Moxxie said nervously
"What's wrong?" Millie asked
"It's Stolas." Moxxie said
"Oh shit, don't tell me he's got wind too." Millie said
"Don't worry, honey, I'll handle it." Moxxie said as he answered the phone "Hello, Stolas?"
"Moxxie, is Blitzø with you?" Stolas said
"Oh thank God, he doesn't know." Moxxie thought before saying "No, is there something wrong?"
"Yes, it's my daughter Octavia, she's gone missing." Stolas said
"Missing? Why, what happened?" Moxxie said
"I was having Stella's stuff transported to her when I heard her screaming from her room & lights flashing from her window. When I rushed to her room, I was blinded by a light & when it died down, she was gone." Stolas explained
"You mean she was kidnapped?" Millie asked
"I'm afraid so, but I believe I'm not the only one, a couple of others might have been kidnapped as well." Stolas said "First it was Cherri Bomb & Sir Pentious, then Octavia, & now Tom Trench, they were just taken without a trace."
"Oh no, that sounds terrible." Millie said worriedly
"This is all my fault, if I had paid more attention to Via, none of this would've happened, I was supposed to take her to Azathoth's Tears, but now it's too late." Stolas said sadly "Do you think you can help me?"
"We really want to help you, Stolas, but unfortunately we can't." Moxxie said
"What? Why not?" Stolas said
"Well, we just lost the company, it's been shut down." Moxxie said reluctantly
"Shut down!?" Stolas said shockingly
"Yes, so we won't be needing your book anymore." Moxxie said
"How's Blitzø taking it?" Stolas asked
"He'll be fine." Moxxie said "Speaking of Blitzø, I think you should reevaluate your relationship with him."
"What do you mean? Things seem to be going fine between us." Stolas said
"Stolas, Blitzø wasn't asking you out that night, he was using you to spy on me & Millie on our anniversary."
"He…what?" Stolas said
"It's true, he's been doing that to me & Millie all the time, it's fucking insufferable." Moxxie said
"W-well, perhaps I can talk to him, maybe it will get him to stop." Stolas said
"Talking is not gonna do any good, he's just gonna make up some stupid excuse, & no matter what he'll never stop fucking things up." Moxxie ranted
"Hey, where is this coming from? I know what Blitzø had said back at Ozzie's was a bit suggestive, but—." Stolas said defensively
"If I were you, Stolas, I would simply reevaluate my relationship with Blitzø, like Fizzarolli said back at Ozzie's, Blitzø's love life is a pile of shit & I'm sure you remember what Verosika said about him. He has never loved anyone & possibly never will, all he ever does is think about himself, so I think it's best that you cut contact with him." Moxxie said sternly
"Moxxie, how could you say—?" Stolas said
"Believe me, it'll be what's best for you, & this is the last time we'll ever talk to each other." Moxxie said "Goodbye Stolas."
"Wait a minute, don't hang u—!" Stolas said as Moxxie hung up
"Baby, was that necessary?" Millie said
"I was doing him a favor, Mills, he'll thank us later, it's best that Blitzø & Stolas don't have a relationship at all." Moxxie said
"Hm, I suppose you're right, I just hope he doesn't get suspicious." Millie said
"Come on, we should go pack up & leave." Moxxie said
Meanwhile in the living world, Cletus, Collin, & Keenie were in a box in an alleyway.
"This stinks you guys, I wanna go home." Keenie sulked
"M-Me too." Collin said
"I'm afraid there's nothing we can do, we're banished from Hell for something that wasn't even our fault." Cletus sighed
"I know, we didn't even do anything, so how is that fair?" Keenie said
"What do you suppose we do?" Collin said
"Well, well, well, if it ain't my favorite little musketeers from on high." A voice said
The cherubs looked up & saw Volt
"You!" Cletus exclaimed
"Did you miss me?" Volt smirked
"What are you doing here?" Keenie glared
"You look a bit different, was the side of your face & horn stripes white?" Collin said
"You like it?" Volt said "I believe we haven't introduced ourselves properly, the name's Volt, formerly Blitzø with a silent O."
"Okay, what do you want from us?" Cletus demanded
"Simple, I want you to join me." Volt said
"Us? Join you?" Keenie said confusingly
"What makes you think we wanna join you after you got us banished from Heaven!?" Cletus said angrily
"Come on, Cletus, it's not gonna be that bad." Volt said "Besides, if you join me, I can help you get revenge on my Ex-employees along with that deer bitch who banished you."
"Oh yeah? What makes you think we won't turn on you since you were a part of getting us banished?" Keenie questioned
"Wait a minute, you just called those two your Ex-employees & you want to help us get revenge on them." Collin said confusingly "Why would you want that?"
"I'm glad you asked, once I show you what happened, I'm sure it will give you enough satisfaction to not want to have revenge on me." Volt said
Volt used his powers to show his memories of the day he was betrayed & sold to Valentino which made the Cherubs were stunned & speechless
"They sold you to the worst Overlord in all of Hell!?" Collin said in aghast
"Yep, that's why I want to get revenge on them as much as you do." Volt said "Does this give you any satisfaction?"
"Well…I kinda prefer if they just walked out on you while saying some hurtful things to you." Cletus said apprehensively
"Yeah, that's a little too far to be selling you to Valentino, but we're hesitant on wanting revenge on the ones who cast us out." Keenie said
"Then perhaps this will change your mind, are you aware of the Extermination?" Volt said
"Extermination? What's that?" Keenie said
"You mean you don't know?" Volt said surprisingly
"Don't know what?" Cletus said
"The Extermination is an annual event where Exorcists come down to Hell & hinder its overpopulation by killing the souls of sinners." Volt said
"WHAT!?" The Cherubs exclaimed shockingly
"What do you mean they kill sinners down there!?" Cletus said
"That explains the Exorcists who are always around in Heaven." Collin said
"I thought they were soldiers to protect Heaven." Keenie said
"So, what you're saying is that you know about the Exorcists, but you had no idea of the Extermination." Volt said
"No, we didn't know any of this." Keenie said
"& we don't think anyone from Heaven does." Collin said
"Well, this just got a whole lot more interesting." Volt said intriguingly "Anyway, a couple of days ago, it's been heard from the Heaven Embassy that the Extermination has been moved up from annually to biannually."
"You mean it's twice a year?" Cletus said
"There's gotta be a way to stop that." Collin said worriedly
"There is, if you join the Hellements, we'll be able to fight back when that day comes." Volt said
"Fight back? But that would mean…turning against our own kind." Keenie said hesitantly
"& why would you care about that now? Do you honestly believe that every sinner in Hell is bad, well you're wrong" Volt said "Some of these sinners happen to be innocent souls who got fucked over & some of them were shut out of Heaven for things that were out of there control. You help us fight these Exorcists & stop this Extermination & you'll be getting every deceased innocent soul who had been killed by them the Justice they deserved, So…"
Volt made 2 clones of himself as they stuck out their hands, Volt's hand was surrounded in red electricity while the first one's was surrounded in green electricity & the second one's was surrounded in ice blue electricity
"Do we have a deal?" Volt & his clones said
The Cherubs thought it over & looked at each other before nodding & taking Volt & the clones
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" The Cherubs screamed as they got shocked
When Volt let go of Cletus' hand as the clones disappeared, Cletus was suddenly engulf in a big flame for a moment. The flame broke apart revealing Cletus in his new appearance, Cletus had fire ombré hair, red eyes & yellow skin wearing a white undershirt with flame red overalls & shoes. His angelic wings were replaced with phoenix wings as his halo was on fire.
Grass was formed under Keenie before sucking her underground, then a vine rose from the ground as a flower bloomed revealing Keenie in her new appearance. Keenie had green hair with a rose on the side of it, light green skin, & yellow eyes as she was wearing a shoulderless dress made out of green leaves, red gloves & red high heels. Her angelic wings were replaced by fairy wings as her halo was wrapped in brown wood vines
Collin was surrounded in a swirling blizzard which completely covered him in snow, then he emerged from the snow revealing his new appearance. He had white hair, light blue skin, & blue eyes with black sclera as he was wearing an ice blue suit with a white dress shirt under it & an ice blue necktie. His angelic wings were replaced by dragon wings as his halo had a few icicles hanging
"You three are now, Pyro the Element of Fire, Meadow the Element of Plants, & Frost the Element of Ice." Volt said as he summoned an electric portal "Let's get going."
The Hellements were doing physical training with Vox, Valentino, & Velvette supervising when Volt arrived with the new Hellement members
"Alright, everyone, put your training on pause for a moment." Volt said "I want you all the meet our new members, Pyro, Meadow, & Frost."
"Three for the price of one, eh?" Flare said "Where'd you find them."
"Here's a fun fact about them, they happen to be Cherubs who were banished from Heaven." Volt said much to everyone's surprise & shock
"Holy shit, I never expected you to have angels join your group, but hey I'm not complaining." Vox said
"While recruiting these three, I learned something that might interest you." Volt said
"Oh? & what's that?" Vox said curiously
"It seems that no one in Heaven except the Exorcists knows about the Extermination." Volt said
"Seriously, they have no idea?" Velvette said surprisingly
"No, it's like the Extermination was kept a secret from everyone in Heaven." Volt said
"My, this is both interesting & quite shocking at the same time, we know that Adam is in charge of the Extermination, but the question is WHO allowed it to happen?" Valentino wondered
"Permission to speak, Mr. Valentino." Frost said
"Si." Valentino said
"There is someone who has a higher position than Adam, her name is Sera, she's the high seraphim who is in charge of keeping Heaven safe." Frost informed
"Oh yeah, I actually heard of her." Vox said
"The point is that she might be the key to ending the Extermination forever since she allowed it to happen." Pyro said
"If she learns that we fought back, it's a possibility that she'll be more threatened than the uprising of Hell." Meadow said
"So, what you're saying is we have to kill her in order to end the Extermination." Velvette said "That might be quite difficult, you know."
"There's no need for that, we're still gonna fight back, but I think I have something planned for Sera." Volt said "But that can wait until after Extermination Day, for now all of us are going on a little field trip."
"Where are we going?" Love said
"Carmine & Morde shut down my company which was taken over by my Ex-Employees." Volt said "Since Moxxie & Millie are not working there anymore the building is free for taking."
"Is it possible that this place is gonna be our hideout?" Ash said
"Yep, that & more, my friend." Volt said
A moment later, a portal appeared in the IMP company as Volt peeked out & looked around.
"Alright, the coast is clear." Volt said as he & the Hellements entered the company
"So, this is your old job." Flare said
"Yeah, it wasn't much but it was better than nothing." Volt said as his hand became surrounded in rainbow electricity "Let's liven this place up, shall we?"
Volt placed his hand on the floor which caused the building to glow & grow in size as it changed form. A few seconds later, it transformed into a gigantic multicolored circus tent-like building with a tower.
"We're officially in business." Volt smiled wickedly as he snapped his fingers
A sign appeared in a flash of lightning
