"I want you. I need to be with you. Gabi, I'm ready for us now" he said smiling lovingly at her.
"Oh my damn!" Yolanda said excitedly behind her. Gabi turned to look at her and Josh glared at her, annoyed at the interruption.
"Sorry. proceed" she said sheepishly, still watching them.
"Can we go somewhere else to talk?" Josh asked, annoyed.
Gabi led him outside to a beautiful courtyard where they sat on a bench under the lush tropical trees.
"I don't understand. I saw you with Doctor Rounds" she said.
"I didn't invite her, she just showed up. She's totally nuts by the way. Apparently she developed feelings for me" he said.
"I get that" she said knowing how easily she had fallen for him.
"I'm sorry about everything, that I freaked out, kept you waiting, didn't tell you about the kiss. I swear I'll never be this stupid again if you give me another chance. I love you Gabi" he said, smiling at the words as they came out of his mouth.
She smiled back "You're all I ever wanted. I love you so much" she said reaching out for him. They hugged each other so tightly like they never wanted to let go.
"Moment of truth" she said when they pulled back. "Can you kiss me?" she asked.
He smiled and leaned in and kissed her tenderly before opening his mouth to deepen it, causing her to moan lightly as that electricity reconnected in her body.
He brushed her hair off her face "You're always gorgeous but what happened here?" he asked indicating her cheek.
"Oh yeah that, funny story. Adam's fiancée, wait did you see my posts?" She asked, not knowing if he was even aware.
"Yeah, that's how I knew where to find you, and that you had been on the plane. You were coming to forgive me?" he asked.
She nodded. "Sofia told me you wanted me to come but then I saw her with you and had a breakdown and met Adam, whose fiancée dumped him and he needed a fake wife to come to this resort but then she showed up and punched me" she explained.
He nodded, used to her crazy plans by now.
"Can I take you home?" he asked.
"Yes, please" She said excitedly, squeezing his hand.
"Why don't you get your stuff and I'll book us a flight, first class"
"Ooooh. I could get used to this" she smiled.
"Good, because I want to give you everything" he smiled back.
"Just give me you, that's all I want" she said honestly.
He kissed her once more.
"Yay for kissing. I'm so happy" she said.
"Me too, you have no idea"
she went to get her stuff from Adam's room.
He answered the door. She looked around tentatively "Is she here?"
"No. Also, I'm really sorry she hit you, are you ok?"
"I'm better than ok, Josh showed up to find me" she smiled brightly.
"Oh, wow, what happened with Dr. Rounds?" he asked
"It turns out he didn't even invite her, she showed up on her own because she developed feelings for him but when he found out I had been on the plane he immediately left to come find me to tell me he's ready to be together, now we're flying back home together first class"
"That's great, and Amanda wants to be together too. Of course we've got a lot to work through for that to be possible" he sighed.
"If its meant to be it will be" she said encouragingly, giving his arm a supportive squeeze.
"Well I guess this is goodbye" he said.
"Yeah, thanks for everything Adam" she said hugging him.
"We'll always have Hawaii" he said.
He leaned in and kissed her as they were pulling back from the hug.
Gabi jumped back "What the hell are you doing?" she asked putting her hands up.
"I think in all this pretending I developed real feelings for you" he admitted.
"No, no no. this isnt happening" Gabi said flustered
"Look, I love Josh and you love Amanda, I think you just caught up in all this. I gotta go. Good luck" she said leaving.
She left the room and leaned up against the wall, blowing out a frustrated breath, knowing she had to tell Josh, hoping he wouldn't freak out.
She started down the hall but ran into Josh at the corner.
"Josh! What are you doing here?" she asked, caught off guard.
"Change of plans, I thought why go home when we could stay here in beautiful romantic Hawaii? I got us a room" he said, producing the key to the room next door.
He opened the patio doors and stood looking at the beautiful ocean view.
"I thought you'd be more excited" Josh said, at her expressionless face. "Listen, I get it if you want to take it slow, no pressure here, I've put you through hell. I can be patient while we find our way back" he said.
"Ugh I have to tell you something but I'm worried you're going to freak out" she said nervously.
"What do you mean you might have feelings for her? We were getting married 3 days ago!" Amanda yelled from the room next door.
Gabi tried to push Josh back into the room but they came out on the patio.
"You!" Amanda yelled at Gabi, who hid behind Josh, holding onto his sides.
"What is going on?" Josh asked.
"You must be Josh and judging by your lack of anger I'm guessing she didn't tell you that she just kissed my fiancé!"
"You what?" Josh asked angrily turning to Gabi.
"He kissed me, I did not kiss him! that's what I was about to tell you" she said nervously.
"I don't believe this" Josh said shaking his head. He left the room for some space.
Gabi followed after him.
"Josh, stay and talk to me. I didn't kiss him, he kissed me totally by surprise. I didn't want it, I have no feelings for him. I love you, please" she pleaded, hurrying to keep up with his pace.
He stopped and turned to look at her.
He softened as the look on her face which he recognized as the same panic he had at telling her about Dr. Rounds kissing him.
"I believe you" he said after studying her face.
She smiled happily "So can we just say this kiss cancels out your kiss and move on?" she asked hopefully.
He nodded "Yes. I like that" he said pulling her into his arms, holding her tightly.
"I don't think I could take it if you walked away again" she said shakily.
"I know I couldn't" he agreed, running his hand up and down her back lovingly.
He pulled back to look at her "Gabi, I know we said we would take it slow and I will if that's what you want but I don't actually want to. I need you to know that I love you and I'm all in. I'm ready to go full speed ahead, making up for lost time, I'm never going to be this stupid again, I mean I'm sure I'll do some stupid things but never so much to risk losing you ever again" he told her, showing her his heart.
She pulled his face down to hers and kissed him deeply.
"I don't want to go slow either, but I do have one request" she said breathless, after the kiss.
"You can have anything you want" he told her, his mouth lingering close by hers waiting to recapture her lips.
"I don't want to stay here"
He frowned and stepped back to look at her clearly. "Why? Its so beautiful and romantic, it's the perfect place.." he said.
"I don't mean Hawaii, just this place" she said pointing her fingers at the ground. "I want to be alone with you, no Adam and Amanda, or Yolanda, Elliott and Alan and their weird thrupple situation" she said shaking her head.
"What?" he asked scrunching up his face.
"It's a whole thing" she said waving it away dismissively.
"So can we find another hotel with a beautiful view that probably wont matter because we may never leave the bed" she smiled flirtatiously.
"Say less" he said kissing her excitedly before pulling out his phone to book another hotel.
"Done, let's go! He said flipping his wrist to point in the direction of their room. He took her hand and almost ran back to the room.
"Josh! Slow down" she giggled at his excitement.
He stopped and pulled her back to him "Never" he said kissing her.
They got their bags and drove to their new place.
Gabi laughed out loud when they arrived at a private, ocean front villa they had all to themselves.
"Romantic, magical, unforgettable" she said checking off the boxes in the air.
Josh just grinned, pleased that she was happy.
They took a quick look around and found the master bedroom with a balcony right over the water.
Josh opened the doors and stepped outside.
"Here we are, all alone" he grinned.
"So we are" Gabi said walking over to him. She walked around to stand in front of him and started moving him backwards to the bed.
"What should we do now?" he teased.
"Each other" she said seductively as the back of his knees hIt the bed.
"Oh wow" he said excitedly as he fell back on the bed, pulling her with him. She quickly discarded her top, leaving her in a dark blue lacy bra.
She smiled into his lips as she felt him already hard beneath her.
She ran her hands under his T-shirt as they made out, feeling his hard body.
She pushed it up farther desperate to see and feel every inch of him. He yanked it off and ran his hands over her butt as they continued kissing hungrily.
He rolled them over so that he was on top, she let his waist fall between her open legs. She immediately registered the feeling of his weight on top of her, both sexy and safe.
His fingers sought out her impossibly soft skin under the hem of her shorts.
He rested his forehead on hers, causing her to frown at the loss of his tongue in her mouth.
He gazed directly into her eyes when she opened them.
"This is really happening" he said, more than asked.
"If you stop talking it is" she teased and reclaimed his lips.
The night faded into the sounds of skin on skin, joyful moans, breathy pants, deep primal groans, the words yes, don't stop, and both their names dragged out in too many syllables before they collapsed in each others arms, trying to catch their breath.
"That was.." he started.
"Insanely good!" she said excitedly. "My God, why werent we doing that all along?"
"We're obviously idiots" he grinned, before propping himself up on his elbow to look at her.
"The sound of you moaning my name altered my brain chemistry forever" he grinned happily.
"Well you earned it" she smiled. "Now you just have to keep it up"
He looked down "Way ahead of you" he said before pulling her on top of him.
