Glacier was sent to make sure all the guardians were asleep. He poked his head into their sleeping cave. They were all fast asleep. He quietly went back to their sleeping cave to report this to Tsunami. "They're all asleep. Now is the time to do it. I'll take Finch to the study cave and the sky hole." He said. Tsunami nodded and quietly slipped into the river. Glacier waited a little while before taking Finch to the study cave.

"Alright Finch. Form a fire just below the hole." Finch nodded and lifted up both of her front talons. A ball of fire formed a foot below the hole. A light smoke began to lift from the fire. They stood there for what felt like a whole nother hour until they heard Tsunami's voice from the hole. "Alright guys, you can put out that fire now. Meet me at the boulder." The flames went out and they saw Tsunami's fluorescent scales flying away in the dark.

"Let's go get the others." Glacier decided. They went and got the others and waited at the boulder. In about ten minutes the boulder slowly moved over, revealing Tsunami. "Let's go now. They'll likely be up in about an hour from now. I want to be on our way to the Sea Kingdom by then." She said. "Wait, why the Sea Kingdom? Why can't we head to the Mud Kingdom? It's way closer." Clay complained. "Because, it's because of me that we're able to even be leaving right now. Now let's go before we're caught." Tsunami flew up into the air. Glacier, FInch, Clay, Starflight, Sunny, and Glory all quickly followed her after closing the boulder.

Tsunami lit up all of her fluorescent scales, lighting up some of the nearby area. Finch put her scales high enough to produce some light as well. The horizon had a pale orange color, telling him that the sun would be up soon. Glacier enjoyed this. He never knew how good it felt to fully stretch out his wings, to fly at full speed and feel the wind blow over his scales. "Whooo! I love this!" Glacier cried out, doing a flip in the air. Finch, though she was the smallest, was easily keeping up speed with Tsunami, and could probably go even faster if she wanted to. "I know right? Who knew the open sky felt like this!" Clay said to Glacier. "Don't get too excited, we still need to make it to the Sea Kingdom." Tsunami interrupted them.

"Ugh, I want to go to the Mud Kingdom! I want to find my family!" Clay cried. "Come on, Tsunami. Clay is right, it is closer to us than the Sea Kingdom, and the Sea Palace location is hidden and likely under the water. None of us can breathe underwater like you, even Clay would have to come up for air eventually." Finch explained. Glacier noticed that lately, FInch has been speaking more often. What was going on that caused her to speak more often? Has she gained more courage? Has she been put under an animus spell? Glacier thought about asking her, but decided not to.

They continued to fly. Tsunami finally decided their first stop would be the Mud Kingdom since it was closer. They would camp out in the outskirts of the Mud Kingdom for a few days, explore a few of the small villages in the outskirts, meet Clay's parents, then head to the Sea Kingdom so Tsunami can meet her family. They came up with a plan on how to visit each kingdom and meet all of the three possible Sandwing queens. As they were flying, Clay clearly saw something. Glacier watched as he swooped down to see. "Clay, wait up. What did you see?" Glacier called for him.

Glacier dipped down to follow him. When they landed, Glacier saw the others hovering in the air looking down at them. Looking around, Glacier instantly felt a wave of horror at what he saw. Burnt grass was everywhere. And blood, lots of blood covered the ground. Looking around, he also saw the bodies of Mudwings and Sandwings. Glacier was frozen in terror at what they've been hiding from. This is terrible! Now I understand why we were being hidden. Glacier thought as he looked around at the destruction and death of the old battlefield. Glacier knew this had happened recently, the blood wasn't quite dried yet. "Oh my, this is terrible! Clay, what do you think happened here? It looks like a battlefield." Glacier said to him. Clay looked just as horrified as he felt.

"The Sandwings must have attacked the Mudwings. This battle was deadly." Clay said. Glacier was about to speak, but he thought he heard a crack coming from the trees. "Shh, did you hear that?" Glacier whispered to Clay. He nodded his head. "Come out, whoever you are!" Clay called out. "We aren't afraid of you!" Glacier yelled after Clay. Black scales ran past behind the trees. Out of the trees flew a small, jet black female Nightwing. She tackled Glacier, who, in response, made his scales ice cold. The Nightwing gasped and flew off him, her talons now tinted white where they had touched his scales. "You!" She pointed at Glacier. "Me?" He asked. "You! You're Hivitur's dragonet! You have ice scales, and you're the right age. The only icewing to have hatched on the brightest night. How is he?" She asked. She KNEW his father?

"How do you know him? My father, Nightwing?" Glacier asked her. "Because, I'm his mate, Underlink. I am also the first Nightwing in centuries to have mind reading, and both foresight and prophecy, one of the strongest, as a matter of fact. I am also the dragon who actually delivered the dragonet prophecy, the correct one, stating that there were seven powerful dragonets, not five normal dragonets. Let's go see your friends." Underliner, Glacier's apparent mother, flew off toward their friends. Glacier and Clay flew after her.

"Underlink, wait!" Glacier called after her. Underliner was already at their friends though. FInch's scales were smoking and Starflight was ready to take over her mind at any moment if needed. "Guys, back down it's alright. She won't hurt you." Clay called over to them. "Oh, ok. FInch, chill out. Starflight, no need to control her." Glory told them. Finch's scales stopped smoking and Starflight became less tense. "What else did you see? Aside from the Nightwing?" Tsunami asked them. "Burned grass, death, and blood. Lots and lots of blood. This battle was recent, so let's be careful. We should get to the Mud Kingdom now." Glacier told them. They all nodded and flew toward the nearest village, Underlink following them close behind. Guess they were stuck with her. "Yes, yes you are." She responded. Right, mind reading. This was going to be fun.
