Anyway, I love Metroid, Metroid Prime and RWBY, so trust me when I say that I will do my Damnedest to do them Justice. Also, if this is similar to Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, well, that's because it's based of them. They are the two best of the 3D Metroid games (Never played Other M or Federation Force but I feel confident in saying that. Also, Other M sucks just for what Team Ninja did to Samus's character. Don't worry, though. That will not be referenced in this)

Prologue
Somewhere in the depths of space,
Galactic Federation Territory,
The ship drifted through the void in silence, the bronze-colored metal glinting faintly from the light of the system's distant star. Barely seen within the green canopy screen was the vessel sole occupant, resting in a deep sleep.
At a faint beeping sound the automatic computing systems within the spacecraft activated and began to wake up the occupant. She awaken swiftly, her blue eyes blinking rapidly, before she awoken fully.
She looked over and saw that she had a new incoming message.
She tapped a couple of commands into the keypad on her reclining chair's armrest. As the chair moved to a more upright position, she nonchalantly, if expertly, withdrew the needle in her arm that connected her to the ship's onboard chem suite. She briefly stretched before tying her blond hair up in a ponytail as her Varia Suit power armor coalesced around her and she tapped in a few more commands on the ships main terminal.
Her eyes narrowed as she read the message before sending her reply and coding in the coordinates given. After readying her ship for Hyper travel she blasted through the sudden hole ripped into real time space.
Galactic Federation Fleet-wide Broadcast
To any nearby Federation Forces:
Emergency! Emergency!
Federation Outpost on Planet, Remnant
Under attack from unknown forces. Require Imminent Aid.
Possible Suspects: Space Pirates.

A/N: I know this first chapter is short, as is the next one, but don't worry later chapters will be, or should be longer. I'm trying to make this one feel more like a game with the first two chapters being like the game's opening cinematics.
