As the news of Peyton's arrest broke and spread through town.

I knew at the very least i had done one right thing.

But that didn't mean i could look at myself in the mirror.

I always knew Brooke deserved more then me but i despite reasoning she decided to love me anyway.

And i find myself unable to let her without somehow tainting it.

But i had the chance to leave things hidden buried and move on.

Which is exactly what i planned to do. Lucas thought to himself.

As he took Brooke's hand in his. Sitting by her side in the hospital room.

Her hand warm and fitting so perfectly with his own.

"I'm so sorry. For everything i've ever done that landed you here."

"You gave me this life this family and i never appreciated it."

"I took you for granted. Over and over again."

"Please come back to me."

"Our kids need you. I need you."

"I can't do this without you. There is no life without you." Lucas confessed. The emotion in his voice thick. Tears falling from his eyes.

Simon checked in with his grandparents and replied back to his friends who had knew what was going on.

He was so angry and confused by his father. He didn't know if he would ever see him the same way.

He turned around feeling his hand get taken.

"Jenny." He hugged her tightly.

"I should of been here. I stayed away and everything just got so out of control. I'm sorry for worrying you and everyone else."

"My dad brought up me seeing a therapist."

"I'm not sure about that." Jenny admitted.

"I think its exactly what you need. The stuff with you're mom."

"You carried that around and it grew into so much more."

"You should be free of that you deserve it." Simon replied.

"I hope you're mom gets through all of this."

"And i hope you know i care about you so much."

"I seem to push away what i love. You should be with you're family. I'm going to go." Jenny admitted.

"We're staying in touch." Simon replied.

"Lucas. I've missed you." Brooke said softly.

The expression on his face softened.

"You came back to me." Lucas replied.
